God IN the Schools We have to start decreeing that God is welcome in our schools. We have to believe that court decisions, such as the 1964 Engel v Vitale Supreme Court decision, cannot keep GOD out of the schools. Have we forgotten who He is?! I have seen that in the classrooms and on the playgrounds of our schools, miracles are going to take place. Even in our kindergartens, God is going to move supernaturally, as small children are going to pray for somebody in the Name of Jesus and a sign and a wonder is going to occur that rocks the whole school. “Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.” (Matthew 19:26; NLT) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Realize the ridiculousness of trying to keep God out of America’s schools! Decree that no act of man can keep God out of our classrooms or gymnasiums or football fields, not even U. S. Supreme Court decisions. Tell Him that He is welcome and we want Him and need Him to visit our schools! Decree the rising of a massive student-led Holy Spirit movement that will lead thousands into the Kingdom. Decree the outpouring of the supernatural and miracles on our campuses from kindergarten through college! A prayer you can pray: We say that You, God, are coming to the schools of America. You are not bound by the 1964 ruling of Engel v Vitale that says You are not allowed in our schools. You are not bound by that. You are allowed in schools. You are welcome and we want You! Whether You do it through the teachers or through the students, You are coming to the schools of America. We decree an outpouring of Holy Spirit into the classrooms, into the gymnasiums, into the sports arenas. We decree student movements are going to rise up. Bible studies, worship services, guitars, singing, and signs and wonders are going to take place on the campuses in America. Today’s decree: We decree Your power into America’s schools!

Battling the Spirit of Chaos “So the Lord would say, ‘I want you to understand the wiles, the methodology, that Satan is trying to use against you.’ For Satan right now, the demon of chaos, is trying to bring this into the Congress. He’s trying to polarize the people of nations where they fight against each other. This chaos spirit is very akin to a spirit that brings war. ‘Understand this. I’m calling you to go up higher. I’m calling you to learn to take your authority for I have given you more authority. You do not even begin to understand the authority I’ve given you. But it grieves Me that many days will go by and My children will not take authority against the works of darkness, for I have given you the keys to death, Hell, and the grave. I have given you the keys to fight against what the enemy would do. Stand up. Pick up your shield of faith. Pick up the sword of the Spirit that I’ve given you, and do battle.’” (Cindy Jacobs)1 “For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds.” (2 Corinthians 10:4; WEB) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Satan is as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. Command him to STOP! You can do that! Get the sword of the Lord out and ask God to show you a scripture that you can speak into the chaos in your life or into a national chaotic situation. Watch it stop right in front of your eyes. Ask the Lord to show you the authority you have in Him. Jesus has all authority from the Father and He has given it to you! See yourself pick up the shield of faith and the sword of the Spirit, and take authority over the working of darkness in the nation. A prayer you can pray: Lord, I thank you for the prophets that tell us what’s going on and what You want us to do about it. Give me a holy boldness. Give me a greater measure of faith. Show me in the Word the exact scripture, the sword of the Lord, that You have designed for me to use against my enemies and the enemies of my nation. Show me the authority You bought for me with Your precious shed blood, Jesus. You have defeated our foe. Give me the words to decree that enforce that victory in the earth and in America! In Jesus’ name, amen. Today’s decree: God has given us, through Christ, the keys to death, hell and the grave. I take authority over the darkness and chaos in my territory and nation and command it to stop in Jesus’ name! Learn more about Cindy Jacobs here.

Praying for President Trump in a Season of Turmoil It has been a tumultuous week. Many changes have occurred in the President’s staff and Cabinet. Many changes may still need to happen. Some of those who are now ousted or moved around have been in place for just a few months and Anthony Scaramucci for just a few days! The prophets said this was coming! President Trump is a very bold man. No one could ever accuse him of not speaking his mind! One Christian prophet has likened him to General Patton – a man respected by those he led, but who was rough around the edges. I’ve always liked Patton. I do, however, see a need for the President to seek God, not just his advisors, for increased wisdom. “The plans of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the Lord. All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirit.” (Proverbs 16:1-2; ESV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Ask God to give our president increased, and increasing, wisdom. Intercede for him in this season of upheaval, asking God to use the challenges to draw him close and teach him His ways. Pray that President Trump’s staff, cabinet members and advisors would be men and women of consistent prayer, that their advice will be more and more God’s advice. Declare that our president will never lose his boldness – in fact, it will keep increasing! Pray that his new appointments to staff, cabinet and courts be God’s best choices! A prayer you can pray: Father, I am asking You to give President Trump wisdom. I respect him, but in areas where he may not be using Your wisdom, Show him Your ways. I say he is going to grow in wisdom. May he never lose his boldness! Let his boldness be more and more tempered by Holy Spirit and by wisdom. I pray that as long as he is in the White House, he will have a backbone of steel. When he knows that something is right, don’t let him bend. I’m asking You to show him what to do as he appoints judges and cabinet members, that he never deviates to the right or the left, but that he always appoints the ones that You want. In Jesus’ name, amen. Today’s decree: God has started and will continue to move through President Trump to get this nation on His track!

Where is the Church? “James says ‘prayer without works is dead.’ Meaning what? ‘Prayer without corresponding action is dead.’ If Joshua prayed but never crossed into the land of the seven mountains to deal with the ‘ites’, he would have never secured an inheritance for his generation. The American church is letting the devil walk off with the inheritance of America and its promise to our children. Why? Because in spite of teaching on 7 Mountains for a decade, the church has NO intention of leaving the shire and engaging the Orks in the mountains of media and government. It’s an invitation to controversy (bad press) and with that, a potential loss of supporters.” (Lance Wallnau)1 “Dear friends, do you think you’ll get anywhere in this if you learn all the right words but never do anything? Does merely talking about faith indicate that a person really has it? Isn’t it obvious that God-talk without God-acts is outrageous nonsense?” (James 2:14-15,17; MSG) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Cry out, “God, we need faith-filled prayers and action!” Repent on behalf of the Church for our prayerlessness, as well as our lack of engaging culture outside the walls of our church buildings. Pastors and other leaders in the church, repent of being more concerned about loss of congregants and money than about Kingdom-expansion! Weep between the “porch and the altar”, interceding for the Ekklesia to rise up and get in their places outside the walls of the churches in order to effect national generational change. Consider running for a local government office or serving on a local governing board of directors, such as your local Economic Development Board or Parks Board or Library Board. See what it takes to create a screenplay or a local theater production. Stay-at-home-moms, get involved in your local schools as a volunteer or find out what it takes to be a substitute teacher. Trust God and do whatever He lays on your heart to do! A prayer you can pray: God, we need to act on our faith-filled prayers! Our nation will not change unless we pray and take action in our communities, cities, state and nation. We must engage the enemy out where the battle is! (If you are a pastor or other leader in the church, repent of being more concerned about the loss of congregants and money than about Kingdom-expansion.) Lord, I intercede on behalf of the Ekklesia, of which I am a part. We need to stop playing “church” and start acting like the mighty God-army we are! Show me what part I can do to bring the Kingdom into my realm of influence. Give me the boldness to serve on a local government board or run for a political seat. Use all of my gifts and talents for Your Kingdom purposes on earth, Jesus. Amen. Today’s decree: The Ekklesia of God must pray and take action to secure our Kingdom inheritance for the generations to follow in America! 1 Re-posted from Lance Wallnau’s FB page on 8/1/17. The Miseries of Society are Whose Fault? Quotes from Noah Webster Noah Webster published the first American dictionary of the English language in 1828. He said, “Education is useless without the Bible. Moral principles and precepts contained in the scriptures ought to form the basis of all our civil constitutions and laws.” Then he made this strong statement, “All the miseries and evils which men suffer proceed from their despising or neglecting what is contained in the Bible.” He also said, “The principles of genuine liberty, and of wise laws and administrations, are to be drawn from the Bible and sustained from its authority. The man, therefore, who weakens or destroys the Divine authority of that book may be accessory to all the public disorders which society is doomed to suffer.” Let me paraphrase that. “Those that distort and move us away from the principles of scripture until we are experiencing all of the curses and evils of society – they caused it.” “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.” (1 Timothy 3:16-17; ESV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Identificationally repent for this nation which looks to man for answers that only God can give. Repent for the societal messes we have as a nation, because we have not sought God and His Word for the answers to the sinful underlying causes of the problems we face – ignoring God, fatherlessness, the devaluing of life, addictions, poverty, and human trafficking key among them. Ask the Father to draw us back to His Word with a hunger for it and a thirst for righteous knowledge. Pray that God raises up modern day champions who have been trained by the Spirit and the Word to solve the seemingly unsolvable issues of the day. A prayer you can pray: God, I repent for the sins of my nation, especially the sin of independence from God, where we look to ourselves for wisdom that only You have. Look at the mess we are in, Lord. We are suffering as a whole, because we act like you don’t exist. The fruit of our rebellion against You is fatherlessness, the abortion of our children, addictions of all kinds, poverty, loneliness, and the buying and selling of human lives. Father, forgive us. Draw us back to Your Word. The words of Life and true wisdom and knowledge are there and there alone. Give us champions today, like William Wilberforce and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and others, who can take down societal giants with their prayers and persistence and total trust in You. Thank you, Jesus. Amen. Today’s decree: I decree that the principles of genuine liberty, and of wise laws and administrations, will be drawn from the Bible and sustained from its authority alone in the United States of America in this generation.

Shifting the Minds of our College-Aged Kids Are we ever going to turn our schools of higher learning into bastions of truth and the gospel again? I’m not completely sure, but, if not, we are going to raise up other ones that are. We’re going to see revival in a young generation. We can start with hearts that are turned back to the Bible and to Christ. We can help them take up a biblical worldview. I prophesy to you that that is exactly what is coming in this next outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Millions of young people around the world are going to connect with the Lord, Jesus Christ. For many of them, for the first time in their lives they are going to be interested in the Bible. They’re going to want to know what it says. They’re going to have an infatuation with God. Instead of a humanistic mindset, their attitude will be, “What does God think about this?” “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” (Romans 12:2; NIV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Intercede for the raising up of colleges and universities built on a foundation of the Word of God, while providing a solid education. Pray these schools and faculty will give the students the ability to advance the Kingdom well in their chosen spheres of authority. Passionately ask God for an outpouring of Holy Spirit on this generation of those 25 and younger. Ask Him to break the humanistic mindset off of our youth and young adults, giving them a desire to seek Him for direction, instead of looking to themselves for all of the answers. A prayer you can pray: Father, we need schools like we had at the beginning of this nation. We need schools that honor You and Your Word, while providing the best possible education available. Our children need to be equipped spiritually and educationally to fully penetrate the darkness of our society. They need to be equipped to bring Your ways into government and the marketplace. Pour Yourself out on this generation of young people, Lord. Draw them to You! Break the power of humanism off of their minds and cause them to lift up their eyes and look for You for solutions to the problems they want to resolve. In Jesus’ Name, amen. Today’s decree: We decree that the minds of our youth and young adults will be transformed as they come to know Christ, that the worldly thinking will fall away, and they will effect His change in this nation and in this earth!

The Foundations of American Education – Quotes from the Founders of Our Earliest Colleges The motto of Harvard in its beginning was, “For Christ and the Church.” Yale’s founder said, “Every student shall consider that the main end of his study is to know God through Jesus Christ.” Princeton’s motto was, “Under God’s power, she flourishes.” Did you know that Jonathan Edwards was the third President of Princeton? I’m talking about the preacher who preached the famous sermon, Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God. He was one of the primary leaders of the first Great Awakening. Did you know he was one of the Presidents of Princeton? The first President of Princeton, Jonathan Dickenson, said this, “Cursed be all learning that is contrary to the cross of Christ.” That’s the way education in America started. “Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser; teach a righteous man, and he will increase in learning.” (Proverbs 9:9 ESV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Call the colleges and universities founded as seminaries or as centers of Christian education back to their roots! Intercede for prayer groups to get started on college campuses to prime the pump for revival! Look at private universities in your city or state and find out how they were founded. What is their motto? If it honors God, decree it over the campus! If it dishonors Him, decree the scriptural opposite! Pray over all the schools in your neighborhood, asking God to move on the students and families represented there. Prayer walk them, if you can. A prayer you can pray: Father, I call for prayer groups to rise up on college campuses nationwide. I pray that those colleges and universities that were established to glorify Christ and train young men and women of God in His ways for their careers would glorify Him once again! Lord, let our nation’s schools of higher learning be filled with the sound of revival! Send another Jesus movement to this generation! Let the instructors who are filled with the Holy Spirit become the Christian mentors they were placed there by You to be. Show me if there are any private colleges or universities near me or in my state that need to be called back to their roots. Grace to the mountain of education, Jesus! Grace, grace, grace. Amen Today’s decree: I decree that every American student shall come to a point in their college years where they shall consider that the main end of their study is to know God through Jesus Christ!

Not Afraid of the Name of Christ – Quote from the Founders of Harvard Did you know that 106 of first 108 colleges and universities in America were founded on the Christian faith? Did you know that students at Harvard and Yale were required to read the scriptures twice daily? Harvard’s founders said, “All knowledge without Christ is vain.” They didn’t say, “All knowledge without a higher power” or, “All knowledge without a supreme being.” They didn’t just say, “Without the Almighty.” These guys were not afraid to call on the Name of Jesus. They were not hesitant to say, “Christ is the only way.” They did not insult other religions. They knew that this nation was founded on principles that did not force Christianity on anybody, and that people could worship however they wanted. However, as far as this nation and the governing of this nation was concerned, we were founded on Christian principles. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.” (Romans 1:16: NKJV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Are you ever even slightly ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Does the political spirit ever make you want to keep your mouth shut, lest you get verbally attacked? Guess what? Jesus has already made a way for you to repent. Declare that there is a holy boldness coming on the Church now! We have a window of opportunity to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom with boldness in America—proclaim we will take it! Look for an opportunity every day this week to share the love of Christ with someone in word or in an act of loving kindness. A friend, Dehavilland Ford, just asked a line of people waiting to buy lipstick at a store near Dallas if she could pray for them. Everyone wanted prayer. She just went right through that line praying in power for each one! Be bold, Church! A prayer you can pray: Lord, please forgive me when I have felt a hesitancy to make it known that I love You. I can see that the atmosphere in the nation is changed and I can be bold. Thank you that You have brought so many people who are worshipers in other religions to our shores, so that they find Christ. That can only happen as Your Church boldly and lovingly makes You known to them. Show me how to take advantage of the season we are in and tell others about You, Jesus. Show me some way every day this week how to share You with others around me, Jesus. Amen. Today’s decree: I decree that all knowledge without Christ is vain and that the Ekklesia of God will spread the Gospel without shame all across this nation!

We Are a Light to the Nations – Quote from John Winthrop John Winthrop, the first Governor of Massachusetts, said in a writing called, A Model of Christian Charity, “We shall find that the God of Israel is with us when ten of us shall be able to resist a thousand of our enemies, when He shall make us a praise and a glory, that men of succeeding nations shall say, ‘The Lord make it like that of New England.’ For we must consider that we shall be as a city on a hill, and the eyes of all people are upon us.” That’s a quote from Matthew 5. You see, we have had a lot of judges and a President that have decreed that we are not a Christian nation. One of those decrees said, “We’re a Jewish nation, we’re a Buddhist nation, we’re a Hindu nation. We’re a nation of unbelievers, and the Muslim religion has been just as much a part of our history as any other religion.” Then this person quoted from the Quran. This is not the truth. No less than twelve presidents have quoted Matthew 5, that we are a city on a hill and a light to the nations of the earth. We need to break that curse off America. “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 5:14-16; NASB) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: This is a Christian nation. Never doubt it. Repent if you have entertained something that leaves God’s dream unfinished and gives it away to other gods. Identificationally repent for the sin of any judges and our former president who cursed our nation with his words. Declare that this is a Christian nation that was birthed by God and belongs to Him alone, and that His purposes for America will be fulfilled. Ask God to make the USA a praise and a glory to His Name before the other nations of the earth. A prayer you can pray: Father, I recommit my thinking to agree with You and the statements of those who founded America, that we are a Christian nation. I do not want to be one who dismisses the dream You have for this nation You founded. I want to honor You and see that dream become a reality. I ask You to forgive our judges and president who dishonored You with words to the contrary. Thank You, Lord, for ignoring those words. Break the curse of them off the land. Make us that bright city on a hill – a praise and a glory to You in the earth! In Jesus’ name, amen. Today’s decree: The God of Israel is with us and the USA shall be a city on a hill, a light to the nations that cannot be hidden, which shall glorify the Name of the Lord, Jesus!

New Wave of Evangelism – Quote from The Plymouth Compact In 1620, a new group to America’s shores wrote the Mayflower Compact. This is the first governmental document that we know of on this nation’s soil. The first constitutional governing document of the Plymouth colony said, “Having undertaken this whole endeavor for the glory of God and the advancement of the Christian faith…” What’s the destiny of America? It’s not that complicated, is it? This is why I know in my heart that we are about to see another missions movement. We’re about to see another revival of missions and the raising up of prophetic evangelism from these shores to all the nations of the earth. It’s our destiny. No government official, no court, no lukewarm leader, and no compromising church is going to stop it! “Oh sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth! Sing to the Lord, bless his name; tell of his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples! For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; he is to be feared above all gods.” (Psalm 96:1-4; NIV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Worship the Lord in song! Exalt His holy Name! He has a plan of salvation that the enemy cannot stop! He is carrying it out until the whole earth has heard of Jesus’ precious Name! Thank the Lord for the bravery of our forefathers. Thank you that America is the most mission-minded country on earth, because of men like those that wrote the Mayflower Compact. Declare that you will undertake great exploits for the advancement of the Christian faith in this generation, as the Lord leads. Ask the Lord how You can participate with Him in Kingdom expansion, then go do it – say it, sing it, write it, express it! A prayer you can pray: Father, I worship You! I will sing of the wonderful One that You are! I will sing of Your glorious plans! I will exalt Your Name over America, Jesus! Holy Spirit carry forth Your plans for salvation to and from this nation. You led our forefathers here to these shores to bring Your Gospel to this land. You made a way for them and they praised You for it and fully expected to see their work of Kingdom advancement completed. I want to participate in this. Grant me boldness and show me the part I can play in showing Your plan of salvation to others. Show me how I am to express Your Kingdom message, Jesus, in the fullness of the gifts You have given me. Amen. Today’s decree: May I go forth and do everything He shows me to do for the glory of God and the advancement of the Christian faith in my generation!

The Destiny of America – Quote from Robert Hunt What is the destiny of America? What did God have in mind when it was founded, before it got started in 1776? What was God up to? You don’t have to look far. Look at the words of Robert Hunt in 1607, when the first expedition to New England landed at Cape Henry. They planted a cross on the beach. I don’t know if he called it prophecy or not, but he prophesied – the destiny of America. He said, “From these very shores, the Gospel will go forth to not only this new world, but to the entire world.” The purpose and destiny of America is not to be the most powerful nation on earth, though we need to be that to ensure certain things are in place on the planet and that the Gospel gets around the world. It is not to be the richest nation, but we need to be that to get our destiny completed. The destiny of America was to be a beachhead for the Gospel! This guy prophesied it to this nation and to all the nations of the earth from this nation! That’s the destiny of America. “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20; NIV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Thank the Lord that the destiny of America was prophesied to the land so very long ago. Declare that the words of Robert Hunt would come to pass. Ask the Lord how you can participate in seeing God’s dream for America be fulfilled. Intercede Matthew 28:19-20 into the Church of America. A prayer you can pray: Father, thank you that You did not leave us in the dark as to the reason You established this nation, sending those first Believers to our shores. You spoke through Robert Hunt that You meant for this to be a place that received the Gospel. You wanted to spread the Good News about Jesus from here to the ends of the earth. What a wonderful purpose! I want to participate! Show me what my part looks like. I pray that the Church of America would go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey all that You have commanded. Amen. Today’s decree: From these very shores, the Gospel will go forth to not only this new world, but to the entire world.

Connecting to the Hearts of the Founders Over the next few days, I am going to share with you some quotes that will help us know what God intended for this nation. We are going to present these a few at a time and we are going to connect with the hearts and thoughts of the writers, as God revealed His Will to them. Then, we will decree what He said and what they said and we will get synergy. There are tens of thousands of Believers reading this today. Maybe from Hawaii to Maine Believers can lay hold of these upcoming quotes and say, “I agree with that!” Let’s say together, “This is what the Ekklesia is decreeing is going to happen.” “Make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose.” (Philippians 2:2; NASB) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Repent of anything you are holding against another relationally. Let the Lord show you areas of offense and deal with them at the cross. Intercede for someone that you know is hard for you to pray for. Now, find a place of agreement with others in the Body of Christ, regardless of minor theological differences. Forgive denominations or congregations that may have accidentally hurt or purposely offended you. Keep your heart in this place, prepared to lock arms with Believers now and back through history for the future of America. A prayer you can pray: Father, reveal my heart to me. Show me where I am holding offense at others, especially those closest to me. Show me where I am angry or do not trust other brothers and sisters in the Lord. I forgive groups of Christians, denominations, or church bodies that have hurt me or rejected me or slandered me, whether on purpose or accidentally. I choose to love, and know that theological differences will usually not keep us from spending eternity together with You, so we can lay those arguments aside. I determine to open my heart and love, so I can pray together with all Christians, and be the Ekklesia together with them and with those who have lived before us for the future of this nation. Thank You, Jesus. Amen. Today’s decree: I decree that Your Ekklesia will fill You with joy completely by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, being united in spirit, and intent on one purpose, which is Your Kingdom manifestation in America!
