Healing History Something spiritual is always flowing through history. It could be iniquity. It could be a broken covenant situation. Pain and trauma flow through the breaches of history. Blessings can flow through history as well. Because of these patterns, we know we cannot ignore history. We have to spiritually deal with history. God never ignores sin. He never acts like it doesn’t happen. He provided a means of redemption through Jesus, so we can receive that forgiveness and move back into a place of blessing. Prophetic and governmental intercessors have been interceding for America for decades now. They have sought God for this nation, their states, and their cities. God has led many to spiritually “map” those areas. Some intercessors have even specifically spiritually mapped their neighborhoods, and some have been led by God to map their own families. A great example of this is when the New York City Intercessors mapped all of New York City by zip codes. Amazing historical breaches and moves of God that had been long forgotten were uncovered! Intercessors have been led by God to do this so they can go back and find the points where God started something or wanted to start something. These are the points where the enemy has been known to work to stop the work of God or keep it from even beginning. Then, they pray and take action to correct history and apply Christ’s redemption to that place of pain. To recap, when injustice, trauma, broken covenants or innocent bloodshed have occurred in an area, then we see that the work of the Lord often stops until identificational intercession in prayer and/or an action heals history. Then, God starts to move again. That move is often striking in the signs, wonders, and miracles that follow. I talk a lot about the prayer Daniel prayed in Daniel, chapter 9. This is where we see the best example in the Bible of identificational intercession. We have no indication that Daniel participated in the historic sins of Israel, but something rose up within him when he read the scriptures and was reminded that Israel had been sent into exile for 70 years because of their sin. Because Jesus had not yet come and His redemptive blood had not yet flowed, Israel had to complete that 70 years. Daniel was reading the historical record and wanted to see Israel delivered. So, he humbled himself before the Lord and recounted the sins of the nation. He did not repent for his individual sins. He repented as a member of his nation. This is so important for us to get in our current place in history! In response, God sent the angel Gabriel to tell Daniel what Israel’s future history would look like! You may not have partaken in things that have caused historical breaches. But if the pain is there, then there’s still a gap God wants to heal. If we will pray and ask God to show us where the pain began, He will lead us right to it, so we can repent, heal history, and move forward. Signs, wonders, and miracles will follow—in the healing of hearts, the salvation of souls, the changing of laws, and even shifts in cultural morality. Be one who advances Christ’s Kingdom somewhere in America. We say together, “Kingdom of God, come!” “While I was speaking and praying, confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel and making my request to the Lord my God for his holy hill—while I was still in prayer, Gabriel, the man I had seen in the earlier vision, came to me in swift flight about the time of the evening sacrifice. He instructed me and said to me, ‘Daniel, I have now come to give you insight and understanding.’” (Daniel 9:20-22; NIV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Read and meditate on Daniel 9:20-22. It is a perfect synopsis of identificational repentance. Read Daniel 9:4-19. This is Daniel’s actual prayer where you can see that he recounted God’s goodness to the nation and all He had done for them. Daniel also noted how Israel’s sin (satan’s work against them) affected their history. Ask the Lord if there is an area where He wants You to stand in the gap. It could be for your family, neighborhood, city or state. It could even be a national issue. Begin to intercede, read the Word, and take action as He leads. Declare over that area, “Kingdom of God, come!” A prayer you can pray: Father, take the prayers of the Church to another level today. We have been praying small prayers, often for ourselves, our family members, and our friends. We could be shifting history with our intercession just like Daniel did. A few intercessors have done much work in America, but it is clear that much more is needed now. The enemy is really on the warpath. He is trying to permanently shift our history. He wants to wipe it out completely. But we know that is not Your plan! You want to heal our historical breaches and send Awakening to our nation! So, awaken Your Church to intercede as Daniel did. Let the whole Body of Christ receive this revelation now! We can map the history of our communities, our states, and our nation. We can find out what You want to do and how the enemy tried to stop it. Then, we can identificationally repent for the sin of the past and we can correct history! We even ask in advance for the Word of the Lord to be given as to how You will lead us forward as a nation. You sent Gabriel to give a message to Daniel - we ask for angelic messengers to be sent to us today too! Heal America and send signs, wonders, and miracles to our land! Jesus, heal our history, save souls, secure righteous laws, and secure cultural morality. Kingdom of God be advanced in the U.S.A.! Amen. Today’s decree: The identificational intercession of the Ekklesia will heal America’s history!

A Current Day Normandy for America! [Today’s post is long. I make no apologies for that. It is one of the most important I have ever written! On August 5th, I asked you to pray for the Supreme Court. My friend, Ken Malone, had shared his dream about Admiral Farragut’s quote, “Damn the torpedoes. Tell him we’re coming!” Go back and read it here if you missed it. Then, read today’s post and be compelled to intercession. And you MUST vote November 3rd!] The war for our America’s health and destiny has reached its Normandy. Either we storm the beach and experience one of our greatest breakthroughs ever, or we falter and endure one of our greatest defeats. We are in a rare and perilous time when a stalemate is not possible; there will be a winner. The war of which I speak is over the direction of the Supreme Court. Far left, activist judges have controlled the High Court for 60 years. And please believe me when I say, no entity has opened the door to more devastation and destruction in America than the Supreme Court: sixty million aborted babies (did you get that—60 million?!); the removal of Yahweh’s influence from government and schools; the redefining of God’s most sacred institution, marriage; girls must now share showers with boys at school; and so much more. If the insanity isn’t stopped soon, polygamy will be next, followed by people marrying animals. The violence, crime, poverty, disease, family decay, addiction, deception and other evils we have reaped from their decisions are devastating beyond belief. One governor recently announced that it is okay to kill babies surviving abortions—after “making them comfortable,” of course. Your tax dollars and mine still fund an organization that murders babies, then sells their body parts. Members of Congress defend, laud and support these heinous behaviors. It seems that much of America has gone mad! And the Supreme Court opened the door to this hell. However, after decades of work and prayer, we have finally reached a point where the Court can be turned, and reversals can begin! Holy Spirit’s word to us while in D. C. was very clear: we can now “roll back time,” reverse demonic gains and “damn torpedoes” fired by Satan! This IS the season in which a divine reset is possible. I am appealing to you, please pray faithfully, fervently, and boldly for the continued shifting of the Court. This branch of our government now hangs in a precarious 5/4 balance—sometimes tilting to the left, sometimes the right. The next President will end this seesaw. He will appoint—and the Senate will confirm—1 to 3 new Justices. This means that whoever wins this presidential election will determine the direction of the Court for the next 30-40 years. This election will either move us fully once more into an anti-Christian, anti-biblical, Constitution-dishonoring, majority on the bench; or will finally shift the Court to a pro-Constitutional, God-honoring solid majority. It cannot be overstated: WE MUST HAVE A PRESIDENT FOR FOUR MORE YEARS WHO WILL APPOINT CONSERVATIVE JUDGES! No decision made in our lifetimes will be more consequential than who we elect as president this November. Please pray for God’s will to be done in the upcoming elections and pray for the Supreme Court to fully shift. Nothing, absolutely nothing, is more important to the healing and restoration of America. In the last election, 52 million evangelical Christians stayed home. Heaven must weep over facts such as this. If we all showed up and voted our biblical values, we could turn America around overnight. Pray that God awakens the sleeping giant, the Church! Don’t grow weary now, praying Christian. This can be our finest hour. Let’s seize the moment! “He appointed judges in the land, in each of the fortified cities of Judah. He told them, ‘Consider carefully what you do, because you are not judging for mere mortals but for the Lord, who is with you whenever you give a verdict. Now let the fear of the Lord be on you. Judge carefully, for with the Lord our God there is no injustice or partiality or bribery.’” (2 Chronicles 19:5-7; NIV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Declare, “The Ekklesia will intercede for the Supreme Court of America, we will vote, and we will experience one of our greatest victories ever.” After reading the appeal above, pray as the Holy Spirit leads you for the Supreme Court as related to the elections. Ask the Lord to give us judges at all federal levels who are conservative and will interpret the law by the U. S. Constitution. Say, “We, the Ekklesia, reject every judge appointed to the Federal bench who judges by their own personal opinion and what they believe is right in their own eyes.” Break the curses those types of past judicial decisions have brought on America. Call for the Church to consider this issue when they vote November 3rd and declare, “The Church will vote righteously, considering the generations to follow us!” A prayer you can pray: Lord, we are convinced that one of the key issues in this upcoming election, if not the defining issue, is who will serve as the judiciary of the United States of America in our generation. The laws they allow to stand will affect our country for generations to come. Some will make decisions through their own interpretation of the law, even considering current social demands and political climate. Some, however, will judge righteously, looking to the U. S. Constitution. We would welcome them even more if they seek You in their decisions, because our nation was founded by You on a framework of covenant with You and Your biblical principles. These righteous judges will be those that understand the slippery slope of personal interpretation. We reject those who will judge according to their own standard. We, Your Ekklesia, will intercede for the Supreme Court of America, we will vote, and we will experience one of our greatest victories ever. We, the Ekklesia, reject every judge appointed to the Federal bench who judges by their own personal opinion and what they believe is right in their own eyes. We repent of the sins of past ungodly judicial decisions and break every curse off America that may have come upon us as a result. We say, “The Church will vote righteously on November 3rd, considering the generations to follow us!” We thank You for Your mercy, Lord Jesus, amen. Today’s decree: America will choose a president in November that will appoint conservative judges!

All of his destructive agendas are being exposed and now he has to pay. There is no devil in Hell that can override Jesus’ authority. The Church of God has now moved into the aggressive and offensive position. As we learn God’s ways that defeat satan’s plans and agendas for our lives, families, countries, and the world at large, we are called to occupy with power and Jesus’ authority. “The gates of hell will not prevail against God’s Church. There is seriously not one thing satan gets away with when the Church looks Jesus in the face. From Him, we receive direction, confidence, strategy, boldness, peace, assurance, and prophetic direction. He then unifies us to move together in new ways. “There has always been a plan in place for the advancement of God’s Kingdom and there is not one trick or demonic plan that will stop it. God is pulling back the curtains and revealing all of satan’s plans ahead of time. There is nothing hidden that will not be revealed and God has planned to always give us the victory. 1 Corinthians 15:57 tells us that nothing is impossible with God, and there is nothing more powerful than a praying Body of God-fearing people who will not allow evil to prevail. God is with us and nothing can stand against us. There will be a display of people with wicked agendas being brought to justice for everyone to see. There has been a time of repentance granted to them, but now there will be swift judgment coming to those who have tried to overthrow God’s plan and purpose. Some will fall on the same sword they have drawn on God’s people to try and destroy them. Many plans that were crafted by hell will never succeed and will actually backfire on them. Not only are people going to be exposed, but they will be sentenced for the evil crimes they have committed. There is no free pass for hideous acts of evil. “Look up. Trust God’s plan. Cease striving. Don’t panic. Rest in God’s ability to guide and direct our steps. When the enemy comes in like a flood, God will raise up a standard against him, just as He tells us He will do in Isaiah 59:19.” “For evildoers shall be cut off; but those who wait on the Lord, they shall inherit the earth. For yet a little while and the wicked shall be no more; indeed, you will look carefully for his place, but it shall be no more. But the meek shall inherit the earth, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. The wicked plots against the just, and gnashes at him with his teeth. The Lord laughs at him, for He sees that his day is coming. ” (Psalm 37:9-13; NKJV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Sit with Jesus and let Him remind you of His many victories in the Bible. Start with the story of the cross of Jesus. The Old Testament is filled with stories about how He delivered the people of Israel. What the enemy means for evil, God always turns for good. Repent if you have thought the devil is being given free reign in America. Shift your thinking, so you can properly intercede. Command everything being done in darkness to get in the light! As the Ekklesia, demand full exposure of evil plans and plots against the United States government, its leaders, and its citizens! Declare, “Satan cannot override Jesus’ authority, and that authority resides in the Church!” Decree Psalm 37:9-13 above, then decree, “God will be true to His Word!” A prayer you can pray: Father, You are God. There is none like You. Satan wants us to think he is Your counterpart, but he is nothing more than a being created by You. He works overtime to get Your people to fear him. He wants to cause us to forget You and Your ways—Your goodness, strength, victories, and ability to save and deliver us! We must keep reminding ourselves of that, so we don’t get overcome by what we are seeing and hearing. We must hold on to the Truth in Your Word, then let faith arise and proclaim that Truth. In the Name of Jesus, we command everything being done in darkness to get in the light! As the Ekklesia, we demand full exposure of evil plans and plots against the United States government, its leaders, and its citizens! We declare, “Satan cannot override Jesus’ authority, and that authority resides in the Church!” We will overcome him by the words of our mouth, the meditation of our hearts, and we will not love our lives more than Christ. It is Jesus’ blood that gives us true life. We live for You, Lord, and we know You can be relied on to fulfill Your Word. We pledge our allegiance to You again today, Jesus. Make no mistake: The most creative, exciting and awe-inspiring moments are right in front of us. “New leaders and influencers, fathers with integrity, are arising! These are the next rank of Generals in God’s army. They have been hidden and tried by fire to lead in this final battle. These are the true leaders, full of humility and integrity, who have stood the testing and fires of hard times. They are rising to the top. These are God’s trusted ones who have God’s heart and can lead with compassion. They are filled with unwavering faith and tenacity. Character is their major strength and gifting falls second. “Our best days are upon us. Let’s look at Jesus’ plans. Let’s not focus on all this other stuff. Let’s maximize the time and do what Jesus would do. The Church was never meant to be inside the building. We are the Church, and God is recruiting a bold army.” “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” (Isaiah 43:19; NIV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Proclaim, “What looks like the end is often God creating a new beginning.” Shout, “Evil never wins; God’s LOVE WINS!” Choose to agree with heaven that the end result of the chaos we see around us is a holy and divine reset, not a demonic one. Believe that Satan is playing into the Lord’s plans. Call forth into this nation heavenly downloads of ‘never thought of before’ ideas and dreams from God. Intercede for the new breed of apostolic and prophetic leaders filled with faith and boldness, mantled with glory, and manifesting the miraculous. Declare, “The best days of Christ’s glorious Church are upon us.” A prayer you can pray: Father, You are fully aware of everything going on in the world and in the United States right now. You are aware of the spiritual war and of the societal chaos. None of this is taking You by surprise. Evil never wins; Your LOVE WINS! We choose to believe that You are creating a new era of power and glory in America. The Great Awakening has begun! Signs and wonders in the heavens and on the earth will be seen. Angel armies are coming to the rescue. Holy storms will drive the enemies of the nation back. Salvation and transformations of the hardest hearts will be very publicly seen. God, You are on the move! We call into the earth realm miracles and notable signs and wonders. We call for downloads of creative thoughts and ideas that solve national problems, dissolve societal ills, correct history, and set America on a track to complete her destiny. We are to be a light to the nations, offering freedom and hope. We are to send the Gospel to all nations from our shores. Raise up the new brand of fiery, Holy Ghost-filled, faithful servant leaders. We Are One Nation Under God [My brother, Tim Sheets, released this message to his congregation yesterday. Every Believer in America needs to take this stand today!] “The Lord asked me a question this morning. He said, ‘What are you going to do about the golden calf moment that just happened in America?’ Well, I didn’t know what He meant. I knew what the golden calf was in the Book of Exodus. I began to think about what led to the golden calf moment in the Bible. Moses had gone up the mountain to get the Ten Commandments. When he came down, they had made this idol. They had decided they would no longer be under God’s rulership. They had decided not to be under Jehovah, but under Baal. They chose to be under a demon power and they cursed the nation of Israel. “You may or may not know that the Democratic Convention was held last week. During two caucus meetings, the Pledge of Allegiance was recited, but the sentence, ‘One nation under God,’ was omitted. In doing that, those representatives purposefully stated that they were choosing not to be under God. I ask you, ‘Do you want to be under God or not?’ “The Holy Spirit said to me, ‘Are you going to let that word curse stand?’ I felt that question in every fiber of my being. Are we going to allow deceived people to curse this nation? It will bring a curse. I am personally not going to let that stand. When we hear blasphemy, which is what that is, we must engage. We must rebuke it and ask God to forgive the sin and heal our land. “Jesus had people coming against Him all the time. He had demons after Him. The Bible details how Beelezebub came after Him. At one point, He asked His disciples, ‘What are people saying about Me?’ They answered, ‘Some say you are John the Baptist that has come back from the dead. Others think You are Elijah that has come back.’ Then He said, ‘Who do you say that I am?’ “I am asking the Church that question today, ‘Who do you say He is?’ Peter had answered, ‘You are the Christ, the Son of the living God!’ Jesus replied, ‘Flesh and blood didn’t reveal that to you. My Father in heaven did.’ Then He said, ‘On this rock, I’ll build My Ekklesia. And the gates of hell will not prevail against it.’ To be the true Ekklesia, you must say who He is! “Is this nation one nation under God or not? We must raise our voice and declare that it is! “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek… The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened.” (Romans 1:16, 18 and 21; NIV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: We, the Ekklesia, must corporately rebuke this curse. Every voice must be heard! We must state who He really is. We must state who we really are as the Church and as a nation. We must break the curse and say, ‘No way is Baal going to rule over us!’ If the Ekklesia forbids it, it will be forbidden. If we allow it, it will curse the nation. Say, ‘We are one nation under God and we desire Him in America. We acknowledge His love and care, concern and watchfulness over us. We do not reject Him, but we embrace Him and ask His forgiveness for those who have publicly rejected Him.’ We say, ‘They do not speak for us. Forgive them, Lord. They don’t understand what they are doing.’ Declare the Lordship of Jesus over your state and over the whole of the United States! A prayer you can pray: We come before You Holy God and righteous Judge. We stand before You King Jesus. You are King of Kings and Lord of Lords. We come as the Ekklesia and repent for the sin of our nation. We are so sorry that You were blasphemed last week at a gathering representing millions of Americans. Forgive us. Forgive this land for this hideous sin. We repent in Jesus’ Name. With the authority You have given the Ekklesia, we break this curse! No throne of iniquity will rise and curse this land. We bind and forbid this curse to take root in this nation. Lord, we ask You to remove evil leaders that would dare to do this. Remove the evil culture and warped philosophies that reject You and hold people in the bondage of sin. We break demonic doctrine off our government. Break them free from the darkness and let them see Jesus. Bring them into the Kingdom of light. We say, “We are one nation under God.” We desire You in America. We acknowledge Your love and care, concern and watchfulness over us. We do not reject You, but we embrace You and ask Your forgiveness for those who have publicly rejected You. We say, “They do not speak for us. Forgive them, Lord. They don’t understand what they are doing.” Forgive our sin and heal our land, dear Lord Jesus. Amen. Today’s decree: We are one nation under God and God is welcome in America!

God Wants to Hover Over America When God shows up, He shows up in unusual ways. It is so much more than that soft sense of peace we experience where we might say, “Oh, I feel His Presence.” It is a powerful, weighty, hovering sense of God. The fear of God is often there. The holiness of God is felt. That is part of what causes people to run to the altars or fall on their knees in the street and get saved! I am personally looking for an open heaven that doesn’t just open while we are worshipping in a service and then closes when we all go home. I want the kind of open heaven where the heavens stay open for weeks and months and years, until all of society is changed! We experienced this for 90 days in Colorado Springs in the summer of 2008. In Pensacola, FL, they experienced this for five years. I have been traveling around the country for a long time, and I have been watching and waiting for the next move to begin. I am always wondering who is going to contend for what God wants to do. He is waiting for somebody to believe Him and contend for what He has said! He’s saying, “Somebody believe for this, because I am ready to hover somewhere!” I think He wants to hover over all of America. He definitely wants to hover over many cities in this country. The Bible talks about the hovering presence of God in four places. The Hebrew word used is a reproductive term meaning, “To bring forth.” It is first used in Genesis 1:2 where it says, “The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.” The Lord would say, “Let there be…!” Then the Holy Spirit in His hovering would use His glory and power to cause something new to spring forth, and He would create that thing. The same word is used in the story of Abraham and Sarah when he was 100 and she was 90 years old. They were well past child-bearing age, but the Bible says that the Spirit of God hovered around them and their bodies were completely renewed. We know this, because it was after this that a king saw Sarah and wanted her for his wife. It was after this, when Sarah died, that Abraham married again and had 6 more kids. These are examples of what God is wanting to do in this era! He wants to come and hover over our cities and nations. He wants to create some new things. He wants to completely change lives. He wants to completely restore cities. He wants to heal our land and relationships, and He wants to download solutions to our societal problems. We have to get the heavens open and welcome Him in, Church! Ask Him to come and hover over America! “I will remain in Ephesus until Pentecost; for a wide door for effective service has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.” (1 Corinthians 16:8-9; NASB) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Pray in the Spirit until you sense His presence. Get in the habit of practicing this daily. Believe you receive what you ask for when you ask with the right motives. Ask Him to open the heavens over your community. Declare, “Lord, I believe You want to come and hover in my city and many other cities in this land. I believe You are saying, ‘I am ready to hover somewhere!’ Lord, come and hover here!” Pray for the transformation of lives and society that comes with a prolonged hovering of God over an area. A prayer you can pray: Father, my Spirit is stirred at the thought of Your Holy Spirit hovering over my city and creating things here that are on Your heart. I will pray in the Spirit until I feel You hovering here. I do not want to run in and out of Your Presence. I want to abide with You! I believe that You respond to the heart cry full of faith that dares to believe Your Word. You want to come and hover over our cities and create the kind of move of God that the Apostle Paul saw in Ephesus. You want to create new things and restore old ones. Lord, I believe You want to come and hover in my city and many other cities in this land. You want to hover over America. I believe You are saying, ‘I am ready to hover somewhere!’ Lord, come and hover here! Heal the sick, save the lost, and deliver the oppressed. Let so many sinners come to Jesus that jails close. Let leaders be unable to escape the pursuit of Your love for them. Let the heavens open and let Your love sweep over this land renewing everything it touches. Jesus, come and hover over America! Amen. Today’s decree: The Spirit of God is coming to hover over America!

Oh God, Step Down! I want to share a scripture with you today that I feel is where God wants the Church right now: “Oh, that you would rend the heavens and come down, that the mountains would tremble before You! As when fire sets twigs ablaze and causes water to boil, come down to make Your name known to your enemies and cause the nations to quake before You! For when You did awesome things that we did not expect, You came down, and the mountains trembled before You. Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides You, who acts on behalf of those who wait for Him. You come to the help of those who gladly do right, who remember Your ways.” (Isaiah 64:1-5a; NIV) There are times when the sin of a person, a people group, or even a whole nation make it hard for people to hear God. The atmosphere can become so devoid of people seeking God that the heavens become as brass. When there is little expectation that He will move, it becomes hard for Him to find the faith in the Church to facilitate His movement. We see this around the world in cultures, cities, and even whole countries where He is not welcome. Here in America, we have many that are very passionate for Christ and we have a prayer movement that has been maturing. Nevertheless, there are pockets where things are still very dark. Church, we need to cry out for Him! We need to call for Him to rend the heavens and come down. We need to cry out in passionate, heartfelt worship for Him to show up before our enemies. It looks like all hell has broken out against this nation, but we know God is never mocked for long. He established this nation and He watches over it. He wants to partner with us to see His Kingdom come to America. We do that by expressing our desire for Him. He wants us to call out for Him. We want to make the same cry that Isaiah did. We want to call for the Lord to come to this nation and make Himself known in our midst. We want Him to make Himself known in the hardest and darkest places. We want Him to be revealed to the lost, and we want Him to reveal Himself to His enemies. We also need Him to make Himself known to our leaders. He tells us in Isaiah 61 that He desires to work with us to “rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated.” We need to ask Him to “renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations.” He goes on to say, “I love justice and hate robbery and wrongdoing. In My faithfulness I will reward My people and make an everlasting covenant with them. Their descendants will be known among the nations and their offspring among the peoples. All who see them will acknowledge that they are a people the Lord has blessed.” (Scripture from Isaiah 61:1-4, and 8-9; NIV) We need to tell Him we want to be those people the world sees His hand on. We want to be those who have answers to restore our cities and answers for the hurting. We are the people of God and the nation desperately needs Jesus. Call out for Him! “O that thou wouldst rend the heavens, and wouldst come down: the mountains would melt away at thy presence.” (Isaiah 64:1; DRB) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Using Isaiah 64:1-5a, cry out for God to step down! Pray in the Spirit for a bit if you need to until you feel a strong passion, a strong call of your spirit to His. See yourself worshipping Him in the dark corners of this nation. Maybe you will worship over Chicago, where gang violence takes many lives every week. Maybe you will worship over Portland, where far-left groups are terrorizing a city. Maybe you will worship over New York City, where the highest number of COVID-19 deaths have been recorded. Weep with the Lord over these cities. He loves the people who live there. Call for His manifest Presence to show up in these dark places. Ask Him to reveal Himself to our leaders: to our President and those in His administration, to our Congressmen and women, and to our Supreme Court Justices. Ask Him to make Himself known to your Governor and other state leaders. Ask Him to show up to the mayors of your state’s major cities, as well as to your own mayor and city officials. Cry out for God to step down! Say, “We want to be those people the world sees Your hand on. We want to be those who have answers to restore our cities and answers for the hurting.” Declare, “The mountains of society will melt before the great and mighty God Most High! He will affirm His covenant with us and anoint us to proclaim the Gospel of HIs Kingdom throughout the land!” A prayer you can pray: God, You are our God. We say there is no other God but You. We are in desperate need of You, Lord. There is so much going on right now that all we can think to do is cry out for You. Our nation must have Jesus! Rend the heavens and come down! Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides You, who acts on behalf of those who wait for Him. You will come and help us. We will remember and recount Your ways. Sin appears to be increasing, so let greater grace abound. God, save our cities. Save the ungodly leaders that are allowing the takeover of their cities. Save the hardest hearts. Come and reveal Yourself to the anarchists, the gangs, and others causing havoc, fear, pain, and the suffering of others. Anoint us to reveal Your Son to them. God, we call for You to make Yourself known to our national leaders. Let them fall on their faces before You, even as Nebuchadnezzar did. Show them Who You are and straighten things out. Show them that we are the people You have Your hand on. Download revelation to Your people that can restore our cities. Give us answers for the hurting. We say, “The mountains of society will melt before the great and mighty God Most High! You will affirm Your covenant with us and anoint us to proclaim the Gospel of Your Kingdom throughout the land!” We say, “You are welcome in America, Jesus.” Amen. Today’s decree: God, rend the heavens and step down into America!

Do Not Give Up Your Freedom to Worship [Mike and Cindy Jacobs recently had a discussion with Chuck Pierce on their Prophetic Dateline program. They were talking about God and government in the current environment.] CHUCK PIERCE: God wants us to know Him and to know the times we are in and to see Him in the midst of it all. He wants us to watch Him as He is moving in the earth with us. The enemy wants to wear us out by manipulating our times and laws. One of the ways he works is through trying to change the times and change the laws. We are seeing that happen right now. Satan is trying to wear down the Church. In the midst of this, I see the Body of Christ doing some good things. I see us pulling aside to be with Him more. I see us communicating better than ever before. I see us pressing forward to get further ahead of what the enemy is trying to do. He wants to put unlawful boundaries on God’s expression through the Church. We do have some victories in this area. Passover was restored to the Church in this season. That is a good example, because it was removed from the Church under Constantine. It became illegal at that time for anyone to celebrate the Passover. The Church’s ability to meet freely was legalized. It could exist without persecution. But there was a political compromise that happened and much of our heritage was lost. The cry of the original Passover was, “Let us go that we might worship Him.” Now, the Church in our day is experiencing what the Israelites did. We want to be free to go and worship Him as we desire. The Lord is developing a new way to worship. Do not give up your freedom to worship. Whether you are in your home or whether you can gather together corporately. We do have to be cautious for the protection of all. But we want to keep worshipping and expressing the breath of God in the earth. “But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him.” (John 4:23; ESV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Find a way to purposefully and intensely worship Him today! Know that He is watching and the enemy is watching. What are you going to do? Let new forms of worship rise up from you. Do something different. Raise your hands or move your feet or shout, but let a new well of worship rise up in you. Pray for the Church in America and ask God to have mercy on us. Ask Him to reveal Himself in new ways and remove all fear and doubt from our brothers and sisters in Christ. Intercede for pastors, worship leaders, and other church leaders. Ask the Lord to give them a holy boldness and a strength beyond their natural strength. They need the ability to stand strong for the needs of their congregations to meet together as commanded in the Bible. Tell the enemy that we, the Ekklesia of God, will oppose his attempts to shift our times and laws. Declare, “Our times and laws belong to the Lord!” A prayer you can pray: Father, we will worship You today with everything that is in us. We will clap and shout and jump and lay down. We will worship You in new ways! We will worship You with our whole selves! We will sing songs of exaltation and we will sing songs of deliverance! We will say, “Let all that is in us praise the Lord! You are worthy of our praise! Let everything that has breath, praise the Lord!” Lord, the Church in America has become used to certain forms and patterns. It’s time to break free of them. You know how we hate change, but it’s time to change. Some old, even ancient, things must be restored now, such as Passover was in the Spring. Have mercy on us for our historical dismissal of what You said were to be eternal times of remembrance of You. Reveal Yourself to us in these old ways made new. We do not want to compromise this time in order to maintain our freedom. Raise up prophets and apostles to lead us with boldness. Remove all of our fear, doubt, and unbelief. Help us to see from history the long-term effects of compromise. We lose revelation of You when we “save our own skin”. May it not be so in our generation, Lord. Fight for us! Fight for us as we worship You in unity, in Spirit, and in truth! Let us stand against the enemy’s plans to shift times and seasons. Our times and laws belong to You! We choose You, Jesus! Amen. Today’s decree: We will not stop worshiping the Lord in Spirit and in truth!

Government Must Be Engaged [Mike and Cindy Jacobs recently had a discussion with Chuck Pierce on their Prophetic Dateline program. They were talking about God and government in the current environment.] CINDY JACOBS: Mike and I are in relationship with a number of Christian constitutional attorneys in the nation. Some of them are filing cases on behalf of churches that want to meet. These churches are willing to follow all the government COVID-19 guidelines so they can worship together. However, their state and local leaderships are preventing them. They seem to be treated differently from secular businesses and organizations. Since that’s violating their First Amendment rights, this is a situation these churches feel they need to push back on. I told them prophetically that I believe we are going to need to engage in civil disobedience over this. I am wondering if we are ready for it. MIKE JACOBS: I think all this is rooted in the Church failing to steward government. The Bible says clearly, “The government shall be upon His shoulders.” The government is to be on the shoulders of the Lord and that happens when Believers engage in government. In our nation’s more recent history, we have been remiss in that. Some Christians have felt like we should stay out of the political arena. We haven’t voted in every election. We haven’t run for office. So, we have given the governmental realm over to the enemy by our inaction. We gave the enemy an advantage. So now, we see Satan using government to thwart our ability to release the revelation that God has given. He is trying to work through state and local government to shut us down and shut us up. CHUCK PIERCE: Yeshua said, “Seek ye the Kingdom first and everything else will be added to you.” I think we have put government before God. We haven’t understood that God is government. We have been putting a civil structure up in our hearts ahead of God’s government and that will have spiritual repercussions. I see God dealing with the Church, especially leaders in the Church over this. However, He does want our voice to be heard. He wants us to take a stand. It is not a time to be silent and cowered down, fearful to gather together and worship God. And truly, we haven’t been completely silent. Many Believers have been co-laboring together online. We have been moving forward in unity and getting our message out. We cannot be silent. We have to do our best. “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this.” (Isaiah 9:6-7; NIV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Read Isaiah 9:6-7 above out loud and worship Jesus for Who He is. He is worthy of our worship! Acknowledge in prayer that You know He is government and the source of all government on the earth. Pray for your city’s and state’s governing authorities, especially where you see them limiting or attempting to limit the activities of the Church. Repent, especially if you are a church leader, for not engaging in the public square. Plan to change your ways. Some of the ways you can do this are by providing nonpartisan voter guides and voter registration information to your congregants. You should be voting yourself. Do not be afraid to run for office at any level. God equips whom He calls. Repent if you are too engaged in civil government—to the point you allow it to rule your heart and emotions. A desire to seek God about government matters and to engage the enemy spiritually first is a good barometer of what is ruling you. Determine to never be silent, but to always share His love with others and expand His kingdom. Intercede for the whole Body of Christ in this. A prayer you can pray: Lord, as I read Isaiah 9:6-7 today, bring fresh revelation into my heart of all that Jesus is. I love You, Jesus! I acknowledge that You are government and You are on the throne of my heart. Earthly government was established by You and its authority comes from You. Help me not to relinquish the authority I have in choosing righteous governing authorities. I must pray and I must vote, because I will have to live under the decisions the voters make. If you want me to run for office, I will do that, as well, knowing You are with Me. I pray today for those that govern me. [Pray for your city and state government leaders. Look them up on the web, if you are not sure who they are.] Forgive me when I have failed to do so in the past. Show me how to join other Believers in engaging in government in such a way that we begin to steward it well. We can vote, but we can also form relationships with our leaders. We can offer to pray for them and support them. We can even challenge them if need be. But keep my heart from becoming so involved that my heart looks to man for freedom. Don’t let my emotions get the better of me. At that point, I am good for nothing. I will not remain silent as long as the message of life in Christ Jesus, the message of Your Kingdom, resides in me. As long as I have breath, I will exalt You, Jesus. Amen. Today’s decree: Government will not silence Christ’s Church!

America’s Place in History America has such an important place in history. Over time, God has drawn people of every color, creed, and tongue to this nation. He has a Divine purpose for each one He draws here and each makes a contribution to our country. Those that were brought over in slavery or duress were brought under demonic systems that He has been helping us to correct over time. His plan is for all of us to come together. We must walk in forgiveness and embrace our calling together. Let those of us in Christ who know this calling say together, “We as a people and a nation are called by God to take the Gospel around the world.” That statement is more than a message of simply, “Jesus loves you and will forgive your sins.” It is a message of wholeness. It’s the message of the Gospel and of the Kingdom. The more we embrace His message of wholeness in scripture, the more we will correct societal ills. We can correct poverty, human trafficking, get our medical care right, and help other nations around the world more effectively, among other things. It is not that we are trying to “Americanize” everyone. It is the Gospel message of wholeness that brings freedom, healing, equality, and eternal life to all the world. The more Believers know that God raised America up for a Divine purpose, the more we are able to intercede with confidence for our nation to fulfill that purpose. We can also confidently enter into spiritual warfare against the enemy who is trying to stop it from being fulfilled. Believers can rise up in a place of determination and say, “I will not let America’s destiny be stolen! I won’t let the failures of the past mean that we have become completely evil and we need to just start all over.” At that point, we would be giving up our Christian heritage. We would be prioritizing humanism and other demonic doctrines that would take our nation on a path completely away from what God intended. We can’t let that happen. Today, everyone is welcome in America. We enjoy many freedoms here. People are free to worship any way they want here within the law. Even atheists are welcome here. That does not change the fact that we are a Christian nation. We cannot allow our freedom and our destiny to be stolen from us. Our God-given destiny is incredible and we must know that and fight for it! God raised up this nation! We will see its purpose fulfilled if we will continue to intercede, and do not lose heart and give up. “Then your light will break out like the dawn, and your recovery will speedily spring forth; and your righteousness will go before you; the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard.” (Isaiah 58:8; NASB) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Thank the Lord for this great nation and the wonderful heritage He has given us. Thank Him for making us a melting pot of people from every nation—a beautiful display of the Bride of Christ. Say, “We as a people and a nation are called by God to take the Gospel to the nations, both here and abroad.” Thank the Lord for the many freedoms we all have the privilege to experience in America. Declare, “I will not let America’s destiny be stolen!” Worship Him and declare that His Glory will reign over us! A prayer you can pray: Lord, You have made us a wonderful nation. Today, we are looking past the darkness and into the good things this country represents. We are one of the greatest nations on earth. You established us to fulfill the Great Commission. Not only have You always sent us to other places with Your Good News, but You have also brought to us those from many other nations. We are made up of every tongue and tribe and nation by Your Divine design. What a beautiful heritage! We worship You for it! Your Word and Your principles are the foundation we have been built on. We will never make apologies for that. Neither will we deny it or desire to change it. People from around the world long to come here and live in the wonderful freedom we have. It is so easy for us to take it for granted, but it is unique in the world and must be carefully stewarded and guarded. We will not let America’s history, freedom, or destiny be stolen! God, to You be the Glory for this great country! Glorify Yourself in and through this nation. Let Your Glory reign over us and let all of the nations see that You are our Savior, our Protector, and our Defender! We worship You, Jesus! Amen. Today’s decree: America will spread the Gospel message that brings freedom, healing, equality, and eternal life to all the world.

When the Lord Shows Up in Our Cities When the Lord shows up, nobody has to say, “The Lord is here.” Everybody knows it. When He really shows up in His power and Glory, everything changes. I want to talk to you about opening the heavens today. I like the word “portal”. I looked it up in the dictionary and it said, “A portal is a grand and imposing entrance. It is an access point into someplace.” The biblical word is “gate”. We also use the word “window”. In Genesis 28, Jacob had a unique encounter with the Lord through a dream. You’re all aware that he saw a ladder reaching up to heaven and angels ascending and descending on it. When he woke up, he said, “This is none other than the house of God and the gate of heaven.” He had actually come to a portal. It was where Abraham had built an altar to the Lord. It was a very special place—a sanctified, holy, set apart place. Jacob didn’t know it yet, but he had fallen asleep under a portal—an open heaven. The Lord has told me there are places all over the nation where God is opening windows right now. He’s saying, “If you will just take Me at My word and start acting like Awakening is here, Awakening will be here. If you start acting like I am healing the sick, I’ll start healing the sick. Start acting like it’s time for people to get saved and delivered and make room in your services for it and I will start doing it.” There are open windows all over this nation. God is waiting there for someone to act in faith so He can come and do what He wants to do. You can have a portal that opens just over you. You can get alone with the Lord and begin to worship and suddenly find a window of heaven open over you. A worshipping congregation can open a portal in a church service. We are now headed into a season where entire cities that will have portals open to heaven over them. That’s when revival just seems to start breaking out spontaneously. We are in that time. “Now Jacob went out from Beersheba and went toward Haran. So he came to a certain place and stayed there all night, because the sun had set. And he took one of the stones of that place and put it at his head, and he lay down in that place to sleep. Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. And behold, the Lord stood above it and said: ‘I am the Lord God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac… Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.’ Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, ‘Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.’ And he was afraid and said, ‘How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven!’” (Genesis 28:10-13 and 15-17; NKJV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Worship the Lord until you feel His glorious Presence! Ask the Lord to open a portal over your city. Take a walk or get in your car and drive around until the Lord shows you where to stop and worship. Call for Him to come there in His manifested Glory. Proclaim that there is an open heaven in that place. Make this declaration, “Lord, I will take You at Your word and start acting like Awakening is here. Awakening will be here! I will start acting like You are healing the sick and I will see You heal the sick. I will start acting like it’s time for people to get saved and delivered. I will take a step of faith and share the Gospel with those I meet and I know I will see You perform miracles in my city. Open the windows of heaven and come down!” A prayer you can pray: [Today is one of those days you are going to need to do what the prayer points above ask you to do. I don’t want you to pray what I write for you. I want you to worship. I want faith to rise in you. I want you to get bold and take God at His word. Find the open portals in your city. Make a portal if there isn’t one. Share your faith with someone or pray they get healed and see what happens! If we all do this, we will see a nation in full blown Awakening!] Today’s decree: There are open windows all over this nation and God is going to step down!

America—Shining City on a Hill [Today’s post is an excerpt from President Ronald Reagan’s farewell speech to America, which many know as his “Shining City on a Hill” speech. The words may surprise you. They sound like they could be written today!*] “We’ve got to do a better job of getting across that America is freedom—freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of enterprise. And freedom is special and rare. It’s fragile; it needs protection. “So, we’ve got to teach history based not on what’s in fashion but what’s important—why the Pilgrims came here, who Jimmy Doolittle was, and what those 30 seconds over Tokyo meant… [We have to remember D-Day.] If we forget what we did, we won’t know who we are. I’m warning of an eradication of the American memory that could result, ultimately, in an erosion of the American spirit. Let’s start with some basics: more attention to American history and a greater emphasis on civic ritual. “And let me offer lesson number one about America: All great change in America begins at the dinner table. So, tomorrow night in the kitchen I hope the talking begins. And children, if your parents haven’t been teaching you what it means to be an American, let ’em know and nail ’em on it. That would be a very American thing to do. “And that’s about all I have to say tonight, except for one thing. The past few days when I’ve been at that window upstairs, I’ve thought a bit of the ‘shining city upon a hill.’ The phrase comes from John Winthrop, who wrote it to describe the America he imagined. What he imagined was important because he was an early Pilgrim, an early freedom man. He journeyed here on what today we’d call a little wooden boat; and like the other Pilgrims, he was looking for a home that would be free. “I’ve spoken of the shining city all my political life, but I don’t know if I ever quite communicated what I saw when I said it. But in my mind it was a tall, proud city built on rocks stronger than oceans, wind-swept, God-blessed, and teeming with people of all kinds living in harmony and peace; a city with free ports that hummed with commerce and creativity. And if there had to be city walls, the walls had doors and the doors were open to anyone with the will and the heart to get here. That’s how I saw it, and see it still. “And how stands the city on this winter night? More prosperous, more secure, and happier than it was 8 years ago. But more than that: After 200 years, two centuries, she still stands strong and true on the granite ridge, and her glow has held steady no matter what storm. And she’s still a beacon, still a magnet for all who must have freedom, for all the pilgrims from all the lost places who are hurtling through the darkness, toward home… God bless the United States of America. “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.” (Matthew 5:14; NKJV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Pray for America today. Cover everything you can think of. Pray for our nation’s freedom—freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of enterprise, etc. Pray that this great nation will not lose its history. We must remember our history and we must remember it accurately – the good and the bad. Pray it would be taught in schools and in our homes and in our churches. Ask the Lord to strengthen our families. We need to get off the technology and get back to the dinner table. Intercede with prophetic decrees and declarations for America as you know it can be. Stir up a great faith as you do this. Decree, “The Gospel will go forth across this nation and to the nations of the earth from our shores!” Shout, “God, bless America!” A prayer you can pray: Father, we know You had a dream in Your heart called America. You imagined a place that was free. You gave our founders a design for a nation where freedom was the hallmark – freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom to own our own land, freedom to elect our representatives, and many other things. We strongly desire to maintain our freedom. Today, there are forces out there that would make us subject to demonic ideologies that would eliminate that freedom, eliminate and rewrite our history, and even eliminate You completely from our culture. We are sobered at the thought and we aren’t having it! Show us how to strengthen our knowledge of our history and teach it properly to our sons and daughters. Let us put aside all the techno gadgets and information coming at us. We need to gather as families around the dinner table again. We need to talk and teach and learn from one another. We need to pull together before we are torn apart. We decree that America is a Christian nation. America will stay the course and complete all that You created us to accomplish in history. America will remain free and its freedoms will remain guaranteed. America will be a shining light to the nations – shining out hope in Jesus. The Gospel will go forth across this nation and to the nations of the earth from our shores! America will receive the lost, the hurting, and those yearning to be free. Save us, so we can share Your son, Jesus, with the world. God, Bless America! Amen.
