Election Day November 8, 2016, is a pivotal day in American history and clearly represents a national “time of need” for mercy & grace! It was a privilege to be on the recent “Retrace The Covenant” Prayer Team, visiting 7 cities in 7 days. As we entered Faneuil Hall in Boston, it was apparent we had stepped into a place where, at a previous pivotal moment in the American story, those present faced a “time of need” for Divine help, mercy and grace. It was in Faneuil Hall that the first rumblings of the American Revolution were felt. Faneuil Hall is known as the Cradle of Liberty. When the team entered the Hall, we were arrested with the sense that we were connecting with history, while reaching forward into America’s future, and releasing words of hope, grace and mercy. It’s clear those that were there in the 1700’s were people of unprecedented courage and confidence. It is now our turn to stand on the stage of the American story at a pivotal moment, and to do so with unprecedented courage and confidence! As ambassadors of The King, as guardians over the garden we call The United States of America, and as the courageous, confidence-filled, Church of Jesus Christ, we say “America’s best days are ahead of her!” (Hope Taylor) “Let us therefore draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we might find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16; NASB) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Thank the Lord for those who had the boldness to stand up against tyranny in a different age, who asked God for Divine help and mercy and then took action to birth our nation. Ask God to raise up and strengthen a new generation of nation-builders—His people who will pray and act beyond today, election day, to rebuild America from the inside out. Pray that the Ekklesia will legislate with their vote today! Intercede with passion for the America you believe is God’s desire. Let the Word of God lead you. Pray for the people of God, the Ekklesia, the Church, to be everything we should be in this hour—Holy Spirit-filled expanders of the Kingdom of God in America and to the ends of earth. A prayer you can pray: Father we thank you for our founding fathers, many of whom knew You and served You. We thank You for their holy boldness, who in confidence and grace, rejected the tyranny of Britain and chose to establish a nation that would look to You for guidance and direction, and honor You and Your Word. Let this be a generation of Believers like that one. May we be bold and courageous and stand against the enemy’s plans to secularize America. Let us vote in unprecedented numbers, may we pray like never before, and may we walk out our future as a people who are involved in the affairs of men, expanding Your Kingdom in this nation wherever we go! Amen. Today’s decree: The Church in America is courageous, confident and brave, and we believe America’s best days are ahead of her! Learn more about Hope Taylor here.

The Devastation of Our Nation One of the most devastating occurrences in America in our lifetimes, ranking up with The Supreme Court’s decisions of Roe vs. Wade and Engel vs. Vitale (the removal of prayer from schools), was the election of Barack Obama. I gave a strong warning about what would happen to our nation if he was elected. Sadly, it has all come to pass: a continued liberalization and empowerment of the judicial system in America; a weakened economy (our national debt has doubled in 7 years to $19 TRILLION!); further moral deterioration, along with a rebellion to and mockery of God (does anyone remember the White House lit up in the colors of the LGBT movement after marriage was re-defined by the Supreme Court? If that wasn’t an “in your face” to God and those of us who “cling to their God, guns and religion” by the man who mockingly said it, I don’t know what could ever be!); increased violence; a weakened position in the world, along with a weakened military; the advance of radical Islamist terrorism; a setback in race relations; and more. I rejoice that our nation has been able to elect our first black president. I am deeply saddened, however, that it was Barack Obama. The damage has been so great that America is now one president away from a complete transformation to secularism, a loss of our Judeo-Christian foundation, the loss of our position as the stabilizing force for good in the earth, and the leading voice of the gospel to all the world. “But the Lord said to Samuel, ‘Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.’” (1 Samuel 16:7; ESV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Repent for the doors of iniquity opened by President Barack Obama, his Cabinet and this Supreme Court. Repent of the blatant mockery of God that has been expressed in this administration. Command the doors of iniquity SHUT! Intercede and ask the Lord to grant America mercy! Cry out to God to save us from a further slide down a secular humanistic path that rejects the only One who can save us from our sins—personal and national. Ask the Lord to give us a President that will restore our position as a stabilizing force for good in the earth. Ask for a restoration of our ability to worship as fully as we want, to proclaim the Word of God in the marketplace, to speak truth in love, and to take the Gospel of the Kingdom to every nation on the earth from these shores! A prayer you can pray: Father, we repent on behalf of this governmental administration under Barack Hussein Obama. He has trampled morality and decency, and openly mocked and blasphemed Your Name. Forgive our nation for electing him. We ask for mercy, Lord, for You said that mercy triumphs over judgement, and it is judgement we surely deserve. Please stop this slide into godlessness that we are on! We say, “We desire You, Lord! Visit us again!” Give us a new President tomorrow that will reverse this secular course. Give us a President tomorrow that can be led by You, will reverse legislation that is displeasing to You, and will appoint Supreme Court Judges that will honor the Constitution and judge with righteous judgement. Give us a President that will uphold the first amendment, allowing us true freedom of worship, and may the Gospel go forth across this nation and to the ends of the earth because of our choice! We look to You, Jesus, to save us! Amen. Today’s decree: The Lord will stir His people to elect a man of His own choosing, one whose heart He can touch and who will govern the United States of America in a God-honoring way.

The Family Foundation By 1619, after the rigors and subsequent loss of many lives in the early years of the Jamestown settlement, the leadership began recruiting women to become wives and start families in order to establish a permanent colony. They recognized that strong families are foundational to a successful society. These early families became a crucial foundation to the forming of first a permanent colony and ultimately into the establishment of these United States. Many descendants from these early families became patriots, fighters, and builders in the birthing of a nation with Kingdom foundations of Family, Church and Government at her core. (Jacquie Tyre) “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.” (Deuteronomy 6:4-9; ESV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Repent for the sins of America arising from decisions and laws made at the government level, which are affecting our families, our children and our grandchildren. The first foundation God laid for humans on the earth was that of marriage. Family soon followed. Thank Him for your family, especially if your family was a strong and loving one. Not all families are strong with godly roots. Pray for your family members if yours was built on a cracked and broken foundation. Repent of iniquitous patterns and ask the Lord to reverse them in your family line. Intercede for other families, as well. Ask the Lord to give us government leaders in this election cycle that will act to reverse gay marriage, abortion and other laws that erode the family structure. Make declarations that God will give Divine and wise strategies to our new President, Legislators and Judges to make laws that support and benefit strong marriages and families. A prayer you can pray: Father, we are thankful for the institutions of marriage and family. We thank You for families that are God-fearing and strong, being an example of You and Your love for us as the family of God. Grant them even more grace in these chaotic times. We intercede for families that are broken. Heal our wounded families, Lord. Heal the effects on our hearts from growing up in dysfunctional families. We forgive those in our families who have sinned against us. Turn things around for us, Father. We ask you for a President, Senators, Representatives and Judges that will guard marriage and pass laws that strengthen our nation’s families! We pray for legislation and court decisions that bless and protect our families and family structures as You designed them to be. In Jesus’ name, amen. Today’s decree: God and His angels will fight with us so that marriage and families will remain the covenant bedrock of our society in the United States of America! Covenant Roots – Jamestown From the very early days of the first permanent settlement at Jamestown the core elements of Government, Ekklesia, and Family were laid into the foundation of what would become the United States of America. In 1607, Captain John Smith, on the governing council, and Rev. Robert Hunt, the settlement pastor, co-labored in the establishing of the settlement at Jamestown. In 1619 the emphasis on family came to the forefront in Jamestown. That same year, the newly appointed Governor Yeardley called for the first representative legislative assembly. This was the beginning of representative government in what is now the United States of America. (Jacquie Tyre) “Everyone who comes to me and hears my words and does them, I will show you what he is like: he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when a flood arose, the stream broke against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built.” (Luke 6:47-48; ESV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Close your eyes and think about what a strong foundation looks like. The building you are sitting in likely has a strong, immovable foundation. Ponder the foundation of a new nation that Capt. John Smith and the Rev. Robert Hunt were laying. We are looking to repair the national foundation our forefathers laid. Pray for a strong family foundation, a strong Ekklesia (Church who spiritually legislates Kingdom principles in the earth), and a God-honoring government for our nation right now! A prayer you can pray: Father, with thanksgiving we remember the grace, strength, wisdom, and courage of our forefathers who followed the council of Your Word in laying a strong foundation based upon covenant truths of faith, family, and righteous government upon which our nation has been built. We appeal to You Sovereign Lord for forgiveness over our nation where we have forsaken the ancient paths and plead for mercy that the purposes for which You ordained this nation to be as a “city set upon a hill,” from whose shores “the Gospel shall go forth to not only this New World but the entire world.” Lord, we declare that according to Your divine purposes, the restoration of Biblical Marriage, the engagement of Ekklesia in matters of life and peace, and the preservation of Representative Legislative Government be established in these United States of America for Your glory and the advancement of the Gospel of the Kingdom in Jesus name. Amen. Today’s decree: We re-lay the “God Foundations” of our nation today! You can learn more about Jacquie Tyre here.

Each Doing Their Part The Retracing the Covenant Tour was birthed from a place of unity. There is a synergy that we can tap into when we all do our part from that place of unity. For example, the prophetic word that launched the Tour was given at a Glory of Zion meeting by Chuck Pierce. It was received and embraced by Dutch Sheets. He declared that we would go as an army— some would go and some would send, but we would all pray. Many individuals and prayer networks have been praying at key sites throughout this year, reclaiming our nation for the Lord. The team itself tapped into some amazing unity, but in addition, thanks to social media, we had a sense of the many who were “going” with us. One such time, we were praying in a circle besides the National Monument of the Forefathers. I had received a text from 3 intercessors who had been praying for us the night before and saw us united and singing the Doxology in that very spot. I shared that and we sang, and one of the men saw angels being released throughout the nation. Thank you for doing your part for the tour! (Terri Brown) “For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.” (Romans 12:4-5; ESV) “That together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Romans 15:6; ESV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Thank the Lord for the unity that is growing in the Church in America. Many diverse Christian groups are praying together for the future of America. Intercede that this unity is just a beginning and will grow and mature in years to come. Pray it will not dissipate after the elections. Ask the Lord what your part is now and going forward to expand the influence of Hs Kingdom in the earth. Pray specifically for Dutch Sheets and the Retrace the Covenant Team members, that God will grace them with rest and continued power in prayer. A prayer you can pray: Lord, we have seen that you are increasing unity in the Body of Christ. Many Believers across many Christian backgrounds are seeking You with great passion, so desirous of change in the nation—a turning of hearts to you. We want laws that are God-honoring and we must turn the enemy back at the gate! Let the unity we are seeing now extend past the elections, as the elections are only a beginning to get us where this nation needs to go. Show me, Lord, what you want me to pray and do going forward. We also pray that You would refresh and encourage Dutch Sheets and his team. May their prayers continue to have power in this nation. In Jesus’ name, amen. Today’s decree: Each Believer doing our part to pray for the future of our nation in humble unity with one another will result in God’s will being done in America! Terri Brown and her husband Jack pastor The Table in Colorado Springs, CO, among being a leader in the national prayer movement.

From These Shores the Gospel Shall Go Forth In 1606, the Susan Constant sailed from England to the New World. Landing at Cape Henry, Pilgrim chaplain Robert Hunt declared, “from these very shores the Gospel shall go forth to not only this New World, but the entire world”. While we don’t look for a savior in any political personality or system, the Bible advocates good government, because it will allow the word of the Lord to run swiftly. Isaiah 32:1-8 is primarily a millennial passage but there are applications for today. These verses should be prayed and declared for our own government. Whenever righteous government is in place, the word of the Lord moves swiftly through the land, is understood, and is glorified. America is not God’s answer to all the world’s problems, but the freedoms this nation has protected for hundreds of years have allowed us to send missionaries to the ends of the earth with the REAL answer. It is imperative for Christians to engage in the political process to conserve the liberties that are subtly threatened in today’s geopolitical environment. (Kelsey Bohlender) “Behold, a king will reign righteously and princes will rule justly. Each will be like a refuge from the wind and a shelter from the storm, like streams of water in a dry country, like the shade of a huge rock in a parched land. Then the eyes of those who see will not be blinded, and the ears of those who hear will listen.” (Isaiah 32:1-3; NASB) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Pray that the Lord would grace us with a righteous government to be established in America. Ask the Lord for a President-elect who respects and defends religious liberties. Intercede on behalf of the nation, that His covenant with this land would be renewed and the Gospel would go forth from American shores in greater measure than ever before! A prayer you can pray: Father, we ask for a righteous government to be established in America. We realize You are working with men and women who may not know You as their personal Savior, but we know You can turn their hearts like a watercourse and cause their decisions to be just and righteous. We ask for a President and other elected officials who will govern this way, as well as protect our religious liberties, so that we can continue to expand the Kingdom in the earth. Lord, send us in greater numbers and power than ever before form these shores to the nations of the earth! We want to glorify You, Jesus! Amen. Today’s decree: We choose to elect leaders who will rule the United States of America with justice and righteousness, pleasing the Lord, so that Believers can be free to expand His Kingdom to all the nations of the earth from these shores. Root of Mercy “I have tapped into the root of mercy.” That moving phrase rang forth from Dutch in the dream of a Colorado intercessor. Just 3 days prior to the “Retrace the Covenant Tour”, while watching the Appeal to Heaven Conference online, a prophetic pastor in Missouri saw coins raining down all around Dutch. On each coin was imprinted the word MERCY. While standing ankle deep in coins, Dutch looked up and said, “Mercy is our new currency.” Fulfilling a prophetic word to visit 7 cities in 7 days, our team embraced the language of mercy as we traveled the east coast, retracing the covenant our forefathers made with God in the founding of America. (Kelsey Bohlender) “The LORD your God is a merciful God. He will not abandon you, destroy you, or forget the promise to your ancestors that he swore he would keep.” (Deuteronomy 4:31; GWT) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Get down on your knees, place your hands on the ground and thank the Lord for the deep root of His mercy toward your life and toward this nation. Thank Him that He has not abandoned us in our sin and iniquity, but He is merciful, holding back judgement in honor of His covenant with our forefathers and hearing the intercession of His Saints. Reinforce the mercy cry of those 7 days by crying out again today, “Have mercy on America, Son of David!” Act on this by expressing love, kindness, grace and mercy everywhere you go today. Watch what happens as you open the floodgates of mercy in this land. A prayer you can pray: Father, we are thankful for your mercy to us in the United States of America. We deserve judgement for our iniquitous national choices and actions, but you have responded with mercy instead. We are overwhelmed with Your love and grace. We ask that mercy would triumph over judgement in our nation. Have mercy on America, Son of David! Let us not retaliate in fear and anger to challenging situations, but rather, grace us to show forth Your kindness and mercy each day, spreading Your love throughout this land. In Jesus’ merciful name, we pray. Amen. Today’s decree: Mercy will triumph over judgement in America as God honors the covenant He made with our forefathers and as we remember Him! GH15 is joining in a national call to prayer before the 2016 Elections: As One – A National Appeal to Heaven 40 Days of Prayer Walking the Nation Here is Today’s Focus: News Media With the explosion of the Internet in the late 90s and the creation of mobile devices that now allow unlimited access to Internet data and news around the world, Americans literally have endless information at their fingertips. To know what is happening across the globe at the push of a button is now normal to us. However, with the great inundation of information there have also come more opinions, propaganda, and exaggeration in the reporting of news. As believers, we have a great responsibility to shape the culture around us and literally change the news that happens around our nation. Pray that the news media will be flooded with the influence of Christ. Pray that broadcasts, reporters, websites, and online reports will be filled with integrity. Pray that believers will seek out useful information in the news that will help them to pray more effectively for the circumstances impacting our nation and our world. Pray that God would give believers discernment as they watch the news and help them to be guided by His Spirit. Pray that the news media will not use fear tactics nor exaggerations in their reporting to gain better ratings or increase their profits. Pray that broadcasters will use their influence with pure motives and not for selfish gain. Pray that all corruption and falsehood would be replaced with the truth and authenticity of Christ. Today’s Passages: Colossians 3:17 “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Hebrews 13:5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”

Reformation Day Some of you are participating in Halloween today, but did you know it is Reformation Day? This is the day that Martin Luther nailed his 95 theses to the door of All Saints Church in Wittenberg, Germany, in 1517 – almost 500 years ago today—and the Protestant reformation began. Now, that’s something to celebrate! While certainly long before the United States of America was in existence, it began the battle for religious freedom that prompted many to come to America’s shores—escaping religious oppression. That freedom of religion is a very precious and foundational right to Americans and it is being threatened more every day. “Now the Lord is the Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” (2 Corinthians 3:17; NIV) “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” (John 8:36; NIV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Thank the Lord that the Constitution of the United States guarantees the free exercise of religion in America. Repent on behalf of government leaders at the federal and state levels who are attempting to restrict religious freedom in America. Ask the Lord to forgive us as a nation for again rejecting Him and attempting to remove Him from U.S. society. Cry out to God for His presence and to help us know how to pray and what to do to maintain our freedom of religion in this nation. A prayer you can pray: Father, we thank you that America’s establishment document, the Constitution of the United States of America, guarantees us the freedom to worship You without government intrusion. Lord, there are government leaders who desire to restrict our freedom of worship to the four walls of the church and to fully remove You from the rest of society. Forgive us as a nation for this mindset. We look to You and You alone to reverse this trend and secure our ability to worship You anywhere we want, any time we want and in any way that is pleasing to You! Show us how to pray and what to do to maintain and increase our freedom of worship in America. In Jesus’ Name, amen. Today’s decree: We will freely worship the Lord everywhere, all the time and in every situation across this nation!

GH15 is joining in a national call to prayer before the 2016 Elections: As One – A National Appeal to Heaven 40 Days of Prayer Walking the Nation Here is Today’s Focus: Media (Radio, Television, Print, and Internet) The impact of all forms of media in the American culture cannot be overemphasized. Whether it is the print media (newspapers and magazines), television, radio, or the rapidly spreading influence of the Internet and all forms of social networking, media should be an object of our daily prayers. This is why you will see this on our daily list for focused prayer as one of the “seven spheres of influence.” Today we will take added time to concentrate our prayers specifically on this vital focus. Pray that God will use publishers of newspapers and magazines as well as Internet websites to report in such a manner that is ethically and morally sound. Ask that God will redeem the media to advance His Kingdom. Claim the same for the television industry. Ask that God will continue to use radio in a significant way to spread the Gospel globally. Especially pray for the growing influence of the Internet and social networking. Pray against the spread of pornography on the Internet and that God will cause those who “surf” the Internet to come upon godly websites that draw them to salvation in Jesus Christ. Today’s Passage: Ephesians 2:1-7 “As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.”

GH15 is joining in a national call to prayer before the 2016 Elections: As One – A National Appeal to Heaven 40 Days of Prayer Walking the Nation Here is Today’s Focus: Relief: Removal or lightening of something oppressive, painful, or distressing; things that are given to help people who are victims 2 Thessalonians 1:5-7 (NIV) “All this is evidence that God’s judgment is right, and as a result you will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering. God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels.” PRAY: In so many ways, Jesus, you have brought me relief through your grace, and I thank you. I pray that you would draw near to your people this election season and use us to bring your relief to the world around us. May our votes and our participation in this election affect relief, especially for those who are experiencing oppression, pain or distress. Make us your relief for victims in our world today.
