Reflections Thinking back over the last week, we can clearly see roots of a nation in covenant relationship with God. We’re not in such a place now. In fact, as a nation we have become morally corrupt, ignorant of our history and cold toward God. We are part of a remnant who believes God can send a third Great Awakening, but some are giving up. “Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold.” (Matthew 24:12; NIV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Ask the Lord to stir up faith in you and grant you the grace to finish well. Pray for those you know whose hearts are growing disillusioned and cold. Commit yourself to passionate intercession for a Third Great Awakening. A prayer you can pray: Dear Lord, I desire to be faithful to the end. I believe that You are more concerned than I am that many in the Church are becoming complacent and are losing hope. Wickedness is increasing every day and we need You to come and save us! In Jesus’ Name, Amen. Today’s decree: I decree that the Lord is stirring up a Third Great Awakening right now!

Dedicate America to God “Remember, our Founders dedicated this land, this new country that would be America, this idea of America, dedicated it to God,” she pointed out. “If I were President, I’d re-dedicate us to God. When I was governor I proclaimed that, the state of Alaska, this is yours, Lord. May your will be done here. We need to do that again in America. Prayer warriors across the country, people who perhaps had never expressed their faith in a higher being before, knew that Jeez, we got to be on our knees asking for a change here, because we’re going down the wrong road. I was so grateful to see so many people step up in that realm.” Sarah Palin1 “O Lord our God, all this abundance that we have provided for building you a house for your holy name comes from your hand and is all your own. I know, my God, that you test the heart and have pleasure in uprightness. In the uprightness of my heart I have freely offered all these things, and now I have seen your people, who are present here, offering freely and joyously to you.” (1 Chronicles 29:16-17; ESV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: We are a blessed people of abundance in America! Dedicate your “all” to God’s purposes in this hour. Read the article and the scripture above and understand that we can dedicate things – people, homes, cities and nations to the Lord. He “owns” it all. Proclaim the United States to be dedicated to the Lord—to His purposes, for His plans and for the expansion of His Kingdom. Pray for our government leaders today and proclaim they are set apart for God’s purposes in this day, even if they do not know it yet! Call for the intercessors to rise up and pray like never before. The sleeping giant is awake. Pray that the Bride does not go back to sleep! A prayer you can pray: Father, we thank You for the super abundance we have as a nation. We are a “more than enough” nation. As American Believers, we dedicate this land to You, Lord. We proclaim it is holy land in covenant with You. We do not care what non-believers say. We know about the covenants and we say, “This nation is dedicated to God Most High!” We pray that our governmental leaders would know this and make decisions knowing You are watching. We cry out for the Church to stay awake and praying now that You have woken her out of her slumber, dear Bridegroom. What joy we feel today! In Jesus’ name! Amen. Today’s decree: We say this nation is dedicated to God! 1 Hayward, John, “Sarah Palin: ‘Grateful to See the Church Step Up’ for Donald Trump Because ‘Eight Years Ago, I Felt They Didn’t’”. brietbart.com. Retracing the Covenant – Washington, D.C. In Washington, D.C., we visited the White House, the Supreme Court and the Capitol. Interestingly, what Holy Spirit led us to decree there was that these places were not “the root” of our government, and therefore, do not have the right to determine what “the fruit” looks like. We called our government back to its original and righteous roots, broke rebellion to God off it and called forth godly leaders. We also decreed at the White House that neither Jezebel, nor any other principality, would ever rule in the Oval Office. This Retracing Our Covenant Roots Tour was certainly one of the most significant and historic prayer assignments I’ve ever received and fulfilled. We fulfilled our assignment and heaven was pleased. “So God set another day. That day is today. Many years after [your ancestors failed to enter that place of rest] God spoke about it through David in the passage already quoted: “If you hear God speak today, don’t be stubborn.” (Hebrews 4:7; GWT) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Declare that the White House, the Supreme Court and the Capitol building are not the “root” of our government, therefore, they cannot dictate the “fruit” of our government. Call the nation back to its righteous roots! Call forth godly leaders and pray that those recently elected will humbly seek the Lord for direction for how this nation should move forward. Just as the angel of the Lord was posted outside the Garden of Eden with a flaming sword to keep the fallen from returning, proclaim that the Sword of the Lord is against Jezebel and every other principality that would seek to worm its way into or back into this administration. Take advantage of today, while it is “today” and ask the Lord for your next prayer assignment and ask Him to help you fulfill every bit of it! A prayer you can pray: Father, we declare that the White House, the Supreme Court and the Capitol building are not the “root” of our government, therefore they will not determine the “fruit” that comes forth. We call the United States of America back to its true righteous roots! We call forth godly leaders, such as we had at the beginning. We ask that our recently elected leaders will humble themselves and seek You for the direction You would like this nation to go in. We ask You to post angels with flaming swords to seal our government off from Jezebel and other principalities that would seek to find a foothold in our current administration. We want to know what You would have us to do “TODAY” to reinforce Your victory and expand Your kingdom in America right now while we have this unique opportunity. Thank You, Jesus! Amen. Today’s decree: We will pray and act to establish righteous roots governmentally in the United States TODAY!

Retracing the Covenant – York, PA In York, Pennsylvania, the home of the Continental Congress for a season during the Revolutionary War, and where the Articles of Confederation were drafted, we found the Appeal to Heaven flag proudly displayed. We also prayed at the building where our currency was first printed, as well as the building where the first communications were printed. We decreed that “mercy is our new currency” (in fulfillment of a vision) and that the voice of the Lord was now returning to our land (in fulfillment of Chuck’s prophetic word to us). “Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!” (Isaiah 6:8; NASB) “For from days of old they have not heard or perceived by ear, Nor has the eye seen a God besides You, Who acts in behalf of the one who waits for Him.” (Isaiah 64:4; NASB) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: God never planned for us to be worshipers and ministers only inside the walls of church buildings. We are the legislators, the Ekklesia, the Church! Notice that our founders established a national government, established a national treasury and were the media. Pray that the Church would get outside the walls and make a difference! Say Isaiah 6:8 to the Lord. Read Isaiah 64:4. Ponder what He has really created You for and ask Him how you partner with Him, get out there and make a difference. Thank the Lord for mercy over America now. Intercede that His voice would become more clear in the land. Ask Him to speak through You into your arena of influence. A prayer you can pray: God, we feel safe inside the walls of our churches. The enemy has lied to us and said that that is where we belong. But, that is not the way You think! You designed us to expand Your Kingdom everywhere You lead us. Our founders knew this and weren’t afraid to establish government and financial systems. They were the “mind-molders” of society, as they put the news out about the new government and helped the people understand it. Here I am, Lord, send me into this culture. Help the Ekklesia to understand that according to Isaiah 64:4, we don’t go alone, but You are acting on our behalf as we stay in close communication with You. How can we fail? May Your voice become more and more clear in the land as You speak Your wisdom through Your Church into every arena of society, Jesus. Amen. Today’s decree: The nation will change as God’s people get out there in the world and BE who they were created by God to be!

Retracing the Covenant – Philadelphia In Philadelphia, we prayed at the Liberty Bell; Carpenters Hall, where the first Continental Congress met; Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence was decreed and the second Continental Congress met; and at the original Supreme Court. In these birth places, we reconnected to the root of righteous government and true justice. We also went to Penn Treaty Park where William Penn entered into covenant with Native Americans, a covenant that was never broken, and established the pattern for racial harmony and covenantal faithfulness in our land. This was one of the highlights of our journey, and where we felt that we fully tapped into God’s mercy over America. “He said, ‘O Lord, the God of Israel, there is no god like You in heaven or on earth, keeping covenant and showing lovingkindness to Your servants who walk with You with all their hearts.’” (2 Chronicles 6:14; KJV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Declare 2 Chronicles 6:14 back to the Lord as a prayer of Thanksgiving. Thank the Lord for preserving the true history of this nation, and that men sought Him and established our government out of relationship with Him. Pray for President-elect Donald Trump and Vice-President-elect Mike Pence and other new national leaders. Pray protection over them. Pray that they will humble themselves and seek God for direction on how to turn back some of the decisions of the last few years that are not pleasing to God. Ask the Lord to heal racial divides in America, so that we can all move forward together as one. We need the mantle of William Penn to fall on this nation and especially on the Church. A prayer you can pray: Lord, God of Israel, there is no god like You in heaven or on earth, keeping covenant and showing kindness to Your servants who walk with You with all their hearts. We thank You that You keep the covenants You make and You are keeping Your side of the covenants we made with You in our early years as a nation. This gives us so much hope for the future of the United States! We thank You that You have granted us mercy and a second chance to honor You as a nation. Grace President-elect Donald Trump and Vice-President-elect Mike Pence and other new national leaders with an ability to humble themselves, pray and seek Your face for direction before taking action. Give them wisdom and Your strategies to turn back the enemy at the gate and reverse some of the ungodly legislation that we have recently instituted. And, please work a miracle and heal the racial divide in America. We want to be one, even as You are One—Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen. Today’s decree: The covenants made, government formed and interracial relationships developed at the foundation of our nation will be our future when we humble ourselves and pray, as God is upholding His side of the covenant eternally!

Retracing the Covenant – Boston In Boston, we reconnected to justice, liberty, and righteous resistance to tyranny. At Faneuil Hall, referred to as “the cradle of liberty,” where some of the most stirring orations calling for freedom were declared, we prayed and agreed with their petitions and decrees. “The edifice was home to merchants, fishermen, and meat and produce sellers, and provided a platform for the country’s most famous orators. It is where colonists first protested the Sugar Act in 1764 and established the doctrine of ‘no taxation without representation.’ Firebrand Samuel Adams rallied the citizens of Boston to the cause of independence from Great Britain in the hallowed Hall, and George Washington toasted the nation there on its first birthday.”1 One could almost feel their passion in this historic place. “But Peter and the apostles answered, ‘We must obey God rather than men.’” (Acts 5:29; ESV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: To have true liberty, we must be free from tyranny. Our current administration has not been tyrannical by any means, but the laws being passed are so far from pleasing to God they make us feel like we are under tyranny at times. Decree Acts 5:29. Read about Daniel (Daniel 6) and his friends (Daniel 3), as well as Esther (Esther 4-7). As the Lord for revelation and let the Word sink in deep. This is how we should act when governing authorities are asking us to violate the Word and Will of God. Read Romans 13:1-7. This is how we should live when good governance is in place. We should pray for those authority and live according to the law of the land. Thank the Lord that we are moving from darkness to light in our nation right now. Commit to pray for those in authority on a regular basis, so they can get govern well. A prayer you can pray: Father, we desire freedom from godless laws and statutes in our land. We want to live under laws that line up with Your Word and Your plan for America. We decree, “We must obey God rather than man!” Therefore, Lord, let our new governing authorities make and enforce laws that are pleasing to You. As we review the stories from Daniel and Esther, may we be reminded of the reasons our forefathers rejected the tyranny of King George. Let us learn from their struggle. As we read Romans 13:1-7, remind us that to keep from living under an oppressive government, we must pray diligently for our governing leaders. Grant us a grace to do so with all fervency, Lord. In Jesus’ name, amen. Today’s decree: We will pray for our leaders, but always remember, we must obey God rather than men and we will have no King, but Jesus!

Healing History From the “Retracing the Covenant Tour”: At Jamestown in 1620, family, church (Ekklesia) and government began to be established in America. We tapped into these covenantal roots and decreed that these foundational institutions of society would come back into biblical alignment. From there, we flew to Plymouth, the landing site of the Mayflower. Here, the Mayflower Compact was written, the first governing document of the colonists, which again stated our purpose with the phrase, “Having undertaken for the glory of God and the advancement of the Christian faith…” At this amazing place, we tapped into the roots of righteous government, prayer, evangelism and generational synergy. The “First Nations” members of our team were very instrumental in all of our stops, but especially in these first few, as we felt we were not only retracing history, but healing it. “But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.” (1 Timothy 6:11; NIV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Ask the Lord for the faith today to intercede for the healing of America’s history. Where there was hope in the beginning for a future nation that honored Christ above all, remind the Lord of that moment in history. Repent for the generations that have lived since who rejected God and ask the Lord to visit us again. Where government was once righteous, as governing leaders relied on God and His Word to lead them, identificationally repent for leaders today who refuse to seek Him. Ask the Lord to give our current leaders hearts that humbly turn to Him for guidance and direction. Ask the Lord to sustain the recent outflow of unified prayer from the Ekklesia! May it result in a renewed nation and a fresh outpouring of evangelism and revival! A prayer you can pray: Oh God, grant me faith today to pray for the healing of America’s history. Our country was founded on a covenant between those early settlers and You. They knew You sent them here with a Sovereign purpose. Forgive us and especially our government leaders down through the years, when we have rejected Your guidance and direction. We need You to visit our leaders again. Soften their hearts and grant them grace to humbly seek Your wise leadership and renew our nation’s covenant with You. Let the Ekklesia continue in prayer and intercession until we have a nation that honors You! Thank You, Jesus. Amen. Today’s decree: We want to be those that intercede for the healing of America’s covenant with God!

A Day for Thanksgiving “Much time has passed since the first colonists came to rocky shores and dark forests of an unknown continent, much time since President Washington led a young people into the experience of nationhood, much time since President Lincoln saw the American nation through the ordeal of fraternal war–and in these years our population, our plenty and our power have all grown apace. Today we are a nation of nearly two hundred million souls, stretching from coast to coast, on into the Pacific and north toward the Arctic, a nation enjoying the fruits of an ever-expanding agriculture and industry and achieving standards of living unknown in previous history. We give our humble thanks for this. Yet, as our power has grown, so has our peril. Today we give our thanks, most of all, for the ideals of honor and faith we inherit from our forefathers–for the decency of purpose, steadfastness of resolve and strength of will, for the courage and the humility, which they possessed and which we must seek every day to emulate. As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words but to live by them. Let us therefore proclaim our gratitude to Providence for manifold blessings–let us be humbly thankful for inherited ideals–and let us resolve to share those blessings and those ideals with our fellow human beings throughout the world.” (President Robert F. Kennedy, Thanksgiving Day Proclamation, 1963 “You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.” (2 Corinthians 9:11; NIV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Thank the Lord for our history as recounted by President Kennedy. Let Holy Spirit help you feel the significance of those moments in history. Thank Him for blessing America with abundance—of people, of resources, with all we need to have an abundant life. Ask the Lord to give the Church creative ideas on how to make these blessings accessible to all. Thank the Lord for the ideals of honor, faith, steadfastness, resolve, strength of will, courage, humility and decency of purpose that are hallmarks of this nation. Pray we can fully return to these ideals. We will need a move of God. Reach out to Him for it! Pray for the lost, the downhearted, the lonely, the poor and the oppressed today. If you can do something practical to help another, go do it today. A prayer you can pray: Thank you, Lord, thank you! May we give thanks today for this wonderful nation we have inherited. Whether born here or immigrated, we are thankful that You established this nation and You preserve this nation and we are thankful to be a part of it. Thank You for the resources we have, the standard of living and the freedom. Thank You that we are known as a faith-filled people of honor, steadfastness and resolve to do the right thing. Lord, we need a move of God to change the hearts of men if we are to continue as the great nation You have made us. We pray for those who are troubled, lonely and hurting today. Help us to meet some of their needs, in Jesus’ name. Amen. Today’s decree: We will be a thankful people, as we have been blessed with more than any other nation on the earth because of Him!

Thankful for a Firm Foundation “I am calling you to a retracing…for seven days you will retrace where My covenant has been established in this land. From that I am determined to bring My voice back to be heard in this land again…Take a team and retrace…Decree that My voice will be heard again in this land.” In fulfillment of this prophetic word to me through Chuck Pierce, I recently convened a team of 13 (including myself) and embarked on this “retracing” prayer tour – 7 cities in 7 days. We began at Cape Henry, where Robert Hunt and company landed in 1607 and planted a cross on the beach. “From these shores the gospel shall go forth, to not only this new world, but the entire world,” Hunt declared, prophesying the destiny of America. We re-staked claim to this destiny and partook of communion, the covenant meal, as we did at every stop. “The LORD said to his people: ‘You are standing at the crossroads. So consider your path. Ask where the old, reliable paths are. Ask where the path is that leads to blessing and follow it. If you do, you will find rest for your souls.’ But they said, ‘We will not follow it!’” (Jeremiah 6:16; NET) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: God sent His men and women to America’s shores long before it was a nation. They came to escape religious persecution, to spread the Gospel and to expand His Kingdom. Thank the Lord for the brave souls that came before us. Thank the Lord that He established this nation to honor Him! Stop and think about that for a minute. Repent for how far from God’s ideals this nation has fallen. Ask Him to help us find those ancient paths and walk in them once again. A prayer you can pray: Lord, I thank You for the men and women who braved so much to come to our shores with a vision from You to expand Your Kingdom in this new world! Wow! Give me a minute to think about that. Let the revelation of that reality lead me to worship You! Our nation has fallen far from that vision. Please forgive us, Lord. Thank You for granting us mercy—another chance to get things right! Get us back on Your path for America and let us fulfill Your heart’s desire in our generation! In Jesus’ name, we say amen. Today’s decree: We will find the ancient paths—the sure foundation of our nation—and follow them!
