Strategy to Overcome “The U.S. strategy for conquering Japan (during World War II) was to capture a succession of weaker Japanese outposts, ‘island-hopping’ toward the Japanese mainland. Slowly, in many bloody battles in the Pacific jungle, at Guadalcanal, the Solomon Islands, the Philippines, and Iwo Jima, the U.S. forces wrested Pacific territory from the Japanese, island by island.”1 “Then Joshua said to his men, ‘Be strong and brave! Don’t be afraid. I will show you what the Lord will do to the enemies you will fight in the future.’ Joshua captured all the cities from Kadesh Barnea to Gaza. And he captured all the cities from Goshen to Gibeon. He captured all these cities and their kings on one trip. He did it because the Lord, the God of Israel, was fighting for Israel.” (Joshua 10:25 & 41-42; ICB) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Spiritual warfare often mimics warfare in the natural realm. Ask the Lord for prayer strategies that chip away at demonic strongholds in the nation and in your state and region bit by bit. Write them down and watch for victories reported in the media. Grab a friend or two and take your prayer strikes out into the community. Pray over places you know of that represent current or historical strongholds. Where was innocent blood shed? Where is there false worship? Where are there strongholds of poverty, violence or injustice? Ask the Lord to show you where to go and what to do – He will! Start somewhere and keep this up over time. Don’t worry if others have already done this. If you still see a problem, then go do it again! Reinforce spiritual victories: go to places where God moved in past revivals. Where are the wells? Go “redig” them in worship and intercession. Finally, prayer without action is often not enough to keep the enemy permanently at bay. Ask the Lord if there is a strategy in the natural to effect lasting change. Get filled with faith and do whatever He tells you to do – big or small. A prayer you can pray: Father, teach us to war in the spirit! Show me where there are spiritual strongholds that have been built up by the enemy that you want me to deal with in my generation. Give me a prayer partner or two or three to go to historical sites to pray until the enemy is routed! Send us to the places where You have moved in that past, so we can redig those wells of revival! The Shooting of Rep. Steve Scalise Yesterday morning, a United States Congressman was shot. Rep. Steve Scalise was at a baseball field in Arlington, VA, with about 20 other Congressmen, getting ready to practice for a charity game on Thursday. James Hodgkinson, a 66-year old Bernie Sanders supporter who appeared to harbor serious anti-Trump sentiments, purposefully opened fire on the GOP Congressmen, some staff members, and Capitol police gathered there. Rep Scalise is in critical condition and five others have varying levels of injury, with a couple hospitalized. The gunman is dead. Is this how far our political division is driving us? God, unify us! “’In your anger, do not sin’: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold.” (Ephesians 4:26-27; NIV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: We must take Christ’s position as Intercessor and we must pray. Pray for all victims and families involved. Pray for comfort and healing of the physical and emotional trauma. Pray into this political divide that is tearing us apart. Deal with any anger you harbor—any hatred in your heart, no matter how seemingly insignificant. Forgive those you feel offended at over political differences. Now, ask God for unity and to heal our nation. He will hear you. A prayer you can pray: Father, I choose to take up the position of Christ, the Intercessor, on behalf of my nation. Lord, heal those who were injured or traumatized. Heal the hearts of all victims’ family members. Lord, prepare me to stand with authority in this divisive gap in America. I repent of any anger I hold toward others. Shine Your bright Holy Ghost spotlight on my heart. Uncover any offense I hold toward others due to political differences. I repent of harboring that political spirit. Free me, Jesus. Do the same for many in America. Free my nation! Heal us and unify us, Lord. I know you can! Amen. Today’s decree: God will deliver the United States from hatred and divisive anger as the Church humbles themselves to pray.

Victory Is In Process We will wait, worship, listen, decree, and appeal to heaven. And we WILL change things, recapturing the destiny of Heaven for America and resetting her course to its God-ordained destination. If you believe God answers Spirit-led appeals and Biblical decrees; if you believe the God who birthed this nation can rebirth it; if you believe a Third Great Awakening can change everything and IS COMING to America, let’s write history together. We are gaining momentum. We are turning the tide. We will win. “You will also decree a thing, and it will be established for you; And light will shine on your ways” (Job 22:28; NASB) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: If God started something for His purposes, then we can believe he plans to finish it. Tell the Lord that you want to participate with Him and decree His Will for this nation. Decree that as He has birthed this nation and has a plan for it, so shall this nation fulfill His Will for it. Decree that He can rebirth America! Decree that Awakening is coming to the United States, as well as many other places around the globe. Tell the Lord you want to be a part of it, together with your children and grandchildren. Step into the gap and continue to intercede between the way things are and how they should be in America. A prayer you can pray: Father, I believe that You started something in this nation over two hundred years ago. You had a plan and You plan to see it come to pass. I decree that Your Will will be done in America, Lord! I decree that what You birthed You will rebirth to get us back on track with Your plan. I decree that a third Great Awakening is at hand in this nation and in the nations of the earth. I will see it sweep many into the Kingdom and I will see You exalted and Your glory manifested! (Keep interceding between the way things are in our land and the way you know God wants them to be.) Today’s decree: The Church is beginning to boldly decree the Will of God into the nation and we will see the tide turn and His glory fill this land from sea to shining sea!

A Re-commissioning Jesus said, “My family is going to be My governing body on planet Earth, just like I intended in the book of Genesis. They’re going to bind for Me. They’re going to loose for Me. I’m going to give them the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven and they’re going to govern for Me as My Ekklesia.” At the ends of the gospels of Mark and Matthew, He formalized this again as He did in Genesis. He re-commissioned us. God wasn’t starting over, He was restoring things back to the Plan. In Mark’s gospel, He said, “Go tell people that they can be a part of My family again.” In Matthew’s, He doesn’t say, “Go get them saved.” He says, “Go disciple nations.” “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 16:19; NASB) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Thank Him for His plan that is eternal and which He did not throw aside at the Fall of man. Thank Him for His getting us back on track and welcoming us to assist Him in the earth to fulfill that plan. Thank Him for the shifting of things in America right now, ignoring the anger, the confusion, and the attempts of those angry ones to try to stop what He is doing. Tell Him you are available to work with Him to pray for and restore America to His plan, regardless of the turmoil all around us. A prayer you can pray: Lord, I thank You for the change that You have begun in this nation. I thank You for Your beginning of shifting the government and the courts. I thank You that President Trump is listening to conservative constitutionalists and Believers who are advising him. I thank You for the change that has begun. We’re not naive enough to think this nation has turned. We see the warfare that is now taking place. We see the anger. We see those who have entrenched themselves in this nation as if they own it. We see their distortion of the truth. We see the character assassinations taking place. We see the attempt to steal from us the ability to change this nation. We position ourselves before You, Lord, and ask You to teach us how to pray for the United States in these tumultuous days. Thank You, Jesus. Amen. Today’s decree: God has placed the keys of His Kingdom in our hands and in our mouths and we ought to be using them to restore and advance His plans!

What Does it Mean to Disciple Nations? The Romans used the Greek term “ekklesia” for “governing a region”. However, they added the concept of “discipling a region”. When the Romans conquered a country or region, they sent in “ekklesias” to govern it. They knew they could not govern it in peace and have a long-lasting empire if they did not change the thinking of the people. The ekklesias would retrain them to become satisfied that they were citizens of a new kingdom, so that they would no longer desire their former way of life. This is what Jesus was referring to when He said Believers (His Ekklesia) were to disciple nations. “Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20; NIV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Oh, get this revelation! God’s family was formed to disciple nations, not just make converts. Ponder this for a few minutes. Ask the Lord how you can participate in this discipling process in your realm of authority. If so, our nation will shift! Can you help change legislation? Can you write articles? Are you in a position to help rethink the way your company is doing business? Pray for God to open a door for you to speak into the next generation. Moms and dads, talk to your kids and their friends about godly principles. Educators and coaches, form relationships with your students and challenge their worldview. Pastors, especially children’s and youth pastors, you had better be able to preach the Word and defend it without bending to current cultural norms. Ekklesia, disciple! A prayer you can pray: Holy Spirit, teach me! Let me get this! I know this is going to shift America and change my life in the process! God’s family, the Ekklesia, of which I am a part, is meant to disciple nations—our nation! We are not doing that—yet! Show me how to disciple that part of the nation that is in my realm of influence. Give me strategies that attract both the saved and the unsaved. Thought processes can shift over time, if we patiently and respectfully keep going. Open doors for me to participate. May I learn all I can to bring the Word into the current culture and help shift America. Thank You, Jesus. Amen. Today’s decree: In Christ’s authority, I will work with the Family of God, the Ekklesia, to begin to disciple this nation in my realm of authority!

The Family is an Ekklesia God said, “I’m going to build a family.” Then, He called that an Ekklesia—“the Church”. “I’m going to build a Church. I’m going to establish a family called a Church. It won’t be a building. It won’t be a service, as in ‘going to church’.” Ekklesia is a word for “legislative government or legislative assembly”. It was used in the context of assembling for government. The Greeks had Ekklesias in every village, which were city councils. They had one at the national level. Their Supreme Court was called the Ekklesia. It was the governing body. The Church is God’s governing body. “So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria enjoyed peace, being built up; and going on in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it continued to increase.” (Acts 9:31; NASB) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Ask the Lord for a fullness of revelation on the word “Ekklesia”, if you do not fully understand it. Use a Strong’s concordance, if need be, and look up everywhere it is used until it sinks in deeply. Ekklesia, get your heart ready to legislate in the earth realm! Do you see things that are out of alignment with God’s Word and Will? Ask God how to legislate order into the situation. (Use the news, if you want to.) With the authority you now know you have, call the nation into alignment with God’s Word and Will! A prayer you can pray: Father, I need a full and complete revelation of who the Church is supposed to be in the earth. I need a revelation of “Ekklesia”. Teach me from Your Word, Lord. Is there anywhere my thinking, my feelings or my actions are not ready for this? Forgive me and line me up fully with Your Word, Your Will and Your plan for my life. There is so much out of order in America right now. It will be my pleasure to be Your legislative mouthpiece over the issues of my day, especially those in our government. In Jesus’ Name. Amen. Today’s decree: The Church, the Ekklesia, will enjoy peace, being built up in the fear and comfort of the Lord, as we legislate the purposes of God into the nation!

Jesus Came to Get the Family Back Jesus came to restore things on earth to God’s plan. He talked about this in Matthew 16 where he said, “I will build my Church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.” When He said, “build”, he used the Greek word for “family”. It’s not the word for “building a structure”. It’s the word for “building a family.” It means “to create a lineage or household or a family”. When Jesus chose that word, He was basically saying, “I’ve come to get the family back!” He was saying, “I’ve come to reverse the Fall (of man recorded in Genesis) and, so that Satan won’t have the last word, I have come to redeem. The plan that I established from the beginning will be fulfilled! I’m here to get the family back!” “This is why I have called you Peter (rock): for on this rock I will build My church. The church will reign triumphant even at the gates of hell.” (Mathew 16:18; The Voice) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: God wants a family and the Church is His delegated family in the earth today. Let this sink in a minute. Think about everything Jesus has done in the power of the Holy Spirit to begin restoring God’s family to the Father. Agree with Holy Spirit and tell the enemy, “God wants His family back! God’s getting His family back! Every single individual that will receive Him is coming into His Family!” Call out every person by name that you know that needs to come into the Family of God. Ask God to use you to be an instrument of reconciliation of future family members with their Holy Father. A prayer you can pray: Father, this is a powerful revelation! Of course You want Your family back—every single person Satan has tried to keep from you since the Fall of man. Jesus, give me fresh revelation as I ponder the tremendous cost You paid to restore us to that heavenly family. This is what the Church is in the earth—the restored family! Satan, God wants His family back! He’s going to get every single one who will receive Jesus as Savior back into His family. Lord I call ____ (name everyone you know who needs to be saved) into Your family! Make me an instrument of reconciliation, Jesus! I want my whole family together with me, fulfilling the heart of the Father to have His family back. In Jesus’ Name. Amen. Today’s decree: God’s getting His family back!

God IS Government! If you don’t start separating politics from government, you will begin to grow cynical of something that God is. He is government. He is Lord. He is King. He is Judge. He is Lawgiver. He IS Government! Government is one of the ways God accesses Earth. God doesn’t go around us and do things in our households. He delegated that governmental authority to us and we can do anything we want there. We can honor His authority or we can dishonor His authority. We can dishonor it and be cursed or we can honor His authority and His ways and we can reap blessing. He is going to leave it up to us! His way of accessing each household is through the delegated authority He gave to us. “This is the covenant I will establish with the people of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.” (Hebrews 8:10; NIV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Ask God to shift your mindset from politics to government. Tell Him to write His laws on your mind and on your heart. According to Hebrews 8:10, He can do this for you. Read the paragraph above. Think about how God works in your home and apply that principle to governing in the earth realm. It is the same. Declare that this nation is moving forward in honoring God in our government and that will increase. Declare that our nation is choosing blessing, as a result. A prayer you can pray: Father, I believe You are government. Now, help me separate politics from You and government. Political partisanship and divisiveness is the opposite of Your nature. I do not want to grow disheartened because of what I see happening in the political arena. Our laws are often written in opposition to Yours. Write Your laws on my mind and on my heart. As I ponder how You work through the authority in my home, show me how that equates to governing in other areas, so that I may intercede with greater understanding and authority. I know I am living in a time where Your government is increasing in America. I thank You that our nation is going to increase in the manifestation of blessings, as a result. In Jesus’ Name, amen. Today’s decree: I decree that the revelation of God as Government will increase, and His blessings to the United States, as well.

God’s Into Government! Why would God tell his family to govern the earth for Him, then separate Himself from the process? What would you do if you were Satan and you wanted to control planet Earth? I would separate God and government, wouldn’t you? God is not stupid! What possible reason would He have to create all of this, then step back and say, “You can govern this planet anyway you want. I don’t want to be a part of the process.” It would be lunacy! God is not into politics, but God is into government! “Then God blessed them and said, ‘Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground.’” (Genesis 1:28; NLT) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Stand up, put your hands in the air and welcome God into the government of this Earth He created! Welcome Him into the governing of your life and the life of this nation, your state, your city, your region, and your family. Repent if you have had any thought that God and government should be separated. Repent where politics has been your focus. Ask the Lord to straighten out your thinking regarding God in government. Tell Jesus that you want to govern together with Him in the realm of influence you are called to be it government, business, family, religion, media, education or arts and entertainment. A prayer you can pray: Oh Lord, I worship You and welcome You into the government of this earth! Govern my life, this nation, my state, my city, my region, and my family. Forgive me where I have let the world’s thinking creep into my thinking, so much so that I have expected You to be separate from earthly government. Forgive me where I have been focused on politics and political parties, instead of on true government, which includes You. Line my thinking up with Yours! I want to learn to govern the realm of authority You have given me, together with You, Jesus. Amen. Today’s decree: We decree that God has no plans to abandon the government He has created and He wants us to join Him in the governing of the earth!

Defining True Governmental Authority Governmental authority was never meant to be independent of God. Here’s where we got in trouble: we stepped outside of His authority and decided to think for ourselves and do things our way. He says, “I want you to govern for me and under me, using My principles, My ways, My laws. The principles of the Kingdom of God, that’s what you’re going to implement on this part of the earth. Through that, I will release righteousness, justice, peace, truth, order, and life. That’s how I am going to release it into the planet—through your leadership.” “Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.” (Matthew 28:18; NIV) “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 16:19; ESV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Ask the Father to reveal His keys to you—those keys that lead to righteousness, justice, peace, truth, order and life. (Hint: they’re in the Word.) Declare each scripture He just gave You. Pray Matthew 28:18 and 16:19 over yourself and tell the Lord you want to be a leader in this. Pray this over Christian leaders and governing authorities you know are born again Believers. Intercede for the rest of our governing authorities, that they would come to know Christ, so that they, also, may walk in the promises of Matthew 28:18 and 16:19. Declare that the Body of Christ would receive this revelation, so that His Kingdom may manifest in the United States more quickly, as we all walk together in this truth. A prayer you can pray: Father, reveal the keys in Your Word to me regarding governmental authority. Give me an even greater revelation than I may already have. I will declare these things, as You show me how to wield Your Word like a sword, over every issue You direct me to bring Kingdom authority into in the earth. I pray Matthew 28:18 and 16:19 over myself. I want to be a leader in governmental intercession. I want to see Your Kingdom come in the United States government. I pray this over Christian and current government leaders. I ask for many more souls to be saved in the governmental arena, that they may walk in this revelation, as well! I declare that many in the Body of Christ will receive this revelation, so we can govern together with You in the spiritual realm until we see it manifest in the earth! Thank You, Jesus. Amen. Today’s decree: I decree that all authority has been given to Christ by the Father, and He shares that authority with the Church. Therefore, whatever I am directed by Him to bind on earth is bound and whatever I loose is loosed. The Kingdom of heaven is coming to the government of America!

Searching Down the Rabbit Hole “There’s an all-out media war against President Trump. Many on the left are seeking to delegitimize everything he says and does, and leak it to the press, especially to the New York Times. I can’t believe that there hasn’t been more prosecution on these leaks. Do you realize that someone has leaked the President’s conversations to heads of other nations? Someone is transcribing conversations and leaking them to the New York Times. Don’t you think that journalist needs to go to jail as a traitor? And, who is going after the one in the government that is feeding this narrative? The most delicate state issues are being leaked for headlines! We need to not stop until we have searched down as deep as every rabbit hole goes. But…we are going to pray!” (Lance Walnau)1 “You will capture all your enemies. Your strong right hand will seize all who hate you.” (Psalm 21:8; NLT) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Pray that God will protect President Trump and all who are loyal to him on his staff and in the intelligence community. Pray that anyone in the staff or intelligence community that are devising evil against President Trump and this nation will be found out! Decree that those with evil plans will not be able to carry them out and will not be able to harm the nation with the information they have access to. Decree that anyone who leaks U. S. secrets to the media will go to jail. Decree that everyone in the media that receives and prints U. S. secrets for the sake of a headline will be found out and will go to jail. Pray for the souls of the leakers to be saved, even while our nation is saved from them and their actions. A prayer you can pray: “We pray for the Trump team right now and for those that are advisors and for those that are handling the most sensitive information that has to do with America’s national security. In the Name of Jesus, we declare that they intended evil against you, and they imagined a mischievous device in their heart, but they are not able to perform it. Your hand shall find out all your enemies, for they intended evil against you. Be exalted, Oh Lord! In Your own strength we will sing of Your power! In Jesus’ Name. Our King Rules Over Media Keep decreeing into the media mountain, Saints. The shaking is having a good effect. Those who have been negative against what God is doing have intensified their mocking and verbal attack. They are being called on the carpet by their bosses and by common Americans who are realizing they are going too far. Keep using the Sword of the Lord. Keep using the authority that the Lord has given you. Keep praying for the purposes of God to come to pass. Keep releasing His government into the media realm and expect to see the course correction of the Lord. “They will make war on the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with him are called and chosen and faithful.” (Revelation 17:14; ESV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Ask the Lord to continue to divide light and darkness, thought and intent of the heart, in the media mountain. Thank Him for the exposure that has already occurred and ask Him for more of the same. We don’t want to leave the job half done. Remember that He is being merciful in His exposure of wickedness. He is giving opportunities for true repentance, so that people can come to their senses and cry out to Him for salvation. Repent if you have been overly judgmental or wanting to forgive too soon. Ask God for more of His heart, if one of those things have been afflicting you. Cry out for the fear of the Lord to invade this arena of authority. A prayer you can pray: Father, don’t stop exposing hateful, hurtful hearts in media. Separate the darkness, so that true repentance can come! We thank You for all You have already done. We want more, Lord, until the lost are breaking down and giving their lives completely to You! May they be turned around and used for Your Kingdom purposes in this nation!  I repent for any unrighteous judgement in me, being too hard or too soft on others. I want Your perfect heart, so that my intercession lines up with Your perfect will. Keep invading the media mountain and keep me warring with You until the job is complete! Thank You, Jesus. Amen. Today’s decree: God’s judgement of those in media is merciful and righteous and will have a perfect effect!
