Our Prayers Release God’s Power Over the past weekend, I watched a portion of The Bible, a television miniseries released in 2013. In this production, they included the account of Peter healing a lame man in Acts 3. I was fascinated, as I always am when meditating on this event. Here was a man, Peter, who had denied knowing Jesus just a few weeks prior - and doing so while cursing, mind you - being used to perform one of the greatest miracles of healing in Scripture. Peter’s words stuck out to me, as they always do, “…such as I have, give I thee…”  (Acts 3:6). What, exactly, did Peter have? Ephesians 3:20-21 gives us the answer: “Now to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and forever. Amen.”  (NASB) Today you’re going to get Professor Sheets, so put on your student hat and follow along with me: The phrase “exceeding abundantly beyond” is difficult to translate. It is actually one compound word in the Greek text:  huperekperissou . (1)  This word isn’t found in older Greek literature but shows up in biblical writings. In other words, a new word was coined to describe God’s power. The root word, perissos (2)  in and of itself, means “superabundant;” in other words, more than abundant, or more than enough. The added prefix  huper, (3)  however, gives the word another “beyond” or “more than.” His power is even “more than more than enough!”  If that weren’t enough (pun intended),  ek (4) added to the word strengthens it further! This new word, huperekperissou , literally means: “superabundantly…with more added to that,” or “beyond more than enough,” or perhaps “more than more than enough, and more!” It is so important that we understand the incredible strength of this word. Here is the breakdown once more, using W. E. Vines Greek Dictionary  to help us: perissos , the basic word which conveys the sense of an amount beyond the normal measure; in other words, abundantly;  huper  added to it ( huperperissos ), strengthens it to “exceeding abundantly.” (This form of the word is used only in Mark 7:37 (NASB), where it describes the astonishment of people at Jesus’ healing of a deaf and dumb man using His saliva. The Passion Translation translates the word in this verse as “beyond measure.”)  adding   ek   to the word -  huperekperissou  - strengthens it still further, requiring yet another modifier to indicate its superiority above even “exceedingly abundant.”  Translating this word is almost impossible. It would literally be something along the lines of “very extremely extraordinarily abundant!” Bullinger, in his Companion Bible , simply translates it as ‘infinitely.’” (5) Well, that works! In this verse, Paul, describing God’s infinite power at work in us, essentially says, “God has enough power to do superabundantly beyond - with even more added to that - what we can even ask or think.” Finite human language can’t describe our infinite God! This Power Now Dwells In Us But this isn’t the end of the verse! The last half of Ephesians 3:20 tells us God is going to do this “more than, more than enough” through the power that works “in us.” Not just in heaven -  IN US ! This infinitely powerful God has taken up residence in us! An  Expanded Translation of the New Testament  by Kenneth Wuest is the most literal and exact translation of the New Testament I know of. In this passage, Wuest mentions this infinite, superabundant power of God, but also makes clear that it operates in and through us: “Now to the One who is able to do beyond all things, superabundantly beyond and over and above those things that we are asking for ourselves and considering, in the measure of the power which is operative in us . . .” (Ephesians 3:20) (6) God certainly does operate from heaven  in response to our prayers, releasing His power. At times, however, His power flows from Holy Spirit  in us  as we speak His words. When Peter was used to heal the lame man in Acts 3:6, he said,  “Such as I HAVE, give I thee.”  It was obviously Holy Spirit’s power, but this power was released from him.  Our Prayers Release This Power James 5:16 says, “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much” (KJV). Again, Wuest gives us added insight, translating it this way:  “A prayer of a righteous person is able to do much as it operates.” The Amplified translation reads,  “The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [is dynamic in its working].”  Notice the word “continued”; Wuest and the Amplified Bible capture the present-tense meaning of the verb - continuous action. This is why Elijah, when producing the provision of rain, this verse in James is referencing, continued to pray and release the power of God - seven times. His prayers continued to release power each time he prayed.  I am certainly not implying that we can release God’s power at our will and pleasure. We must be led by the Spirit in this regard, as Peter and Elijah were, and release His power as He directs us. Nevertheless, we must do so, commanding His Kingdom will and power into situations, just as Jesus told us to do in Matthew 16:18-19. The entire point of James’ passage, in fact, is that Elijah was human, just as we are, yet was able to do this. If he can do it, James says, we can! In my book,   Intercessory Prayer , I tell the story of going weekly, for a year, to pray for a young girl in a coma. Each time I went, I prayed for an hour or so. After a year, she was completely healed. I am confident that I was releasing the power of the Holy Spirit every time I prayed. Finally, enough power was released, and the miracle occurred. As you declare God’s Word and promises over your situation, know that His power is being released. No word from Him returns void, without accomplishing its purpose (Isaiah 55:11). Each time you declare that the power and authority of satan is broken over your family member, his hold weakens. Every time you declare the power of the Cross over an unbeliever, more of that power flows to them. Don’t stop! Persevere!  Pray with me: Father, we thank You for Your desire to save and deliver. You desire to open the eyes of unbelievers, setting them free from satan’s control. We thank You for Your grace, mercy, and love. This past weekend, we celebrated Your great redemption of us through Christ. The result of this redemption was that we became the temple of the Holy Spirit once again; He and His infinite power abides in us. Teach us to operate in/release this power, as Peter did at Beautiful Gate (Acts 3:2). Teach us to do as Elijah did, releasing Your great power until the rain comes. We pray for those who do not yet know You. We bind every strategy of satan and his demons who hold them captive, and we release Holy Spirit’s power to save and deliver them. Rain down Your infinite power on our nation and the nations of the earth. Demonstrate Your love and power with great miracles. Awaken multitudes to Your redemption, and free them from spiritual darkness. All of this we pray in Christ’s name. Amen. Our decree: We decree that the power of God is being released through us, destroying strongholds of darkness, and setting captives free. Click on the link below to watch the full video. INTRODUCTION As we move into the great worldwide revival, which is increasing in strength and momentum, the Holy Spirit gave my brother, Tim, a strong word about His river of glory. As always, you will find it very encouraging. The title is: THE RIVER OF GOD’S GLORY Four years ago, during a time of incredible prophetic insights and revelations, I  received several visions and words I have been faithfully praying about. I believe their time has now come and will help define the Ekklesia’s current season. Vision 1 - Fire Words In the first vision, I saw a vast army of angel warriors. Each angel was carrying a bronze bow, and lines of them stretched in all directions. They were moving away from a huge warehouse, and I knew they had been inside. The sign on the warehouse read “Arsenal: Fire Word Decrees.”  I then saw the angels raise their bronze bows in unison and release flaming arrows. Each arrow tip was ablaze, and the angels were firing them as quickly as possible. The sky was filled with these arrows. They were targeted at enemy positions, which the Lord allowed me to see. When the arrows hit the target, they exploded into larger flames, like fireballs.  I was then given an aerial view and saw the barrage of arrows devastating the positions of the Lord’s enemies. I heard Holy Spirit shout, “Behold the ‘fire words’ of the King’s Ekklesia! Empty the arsenals, shoot at the strongholds, and hell’s princes will fall.”  At this point in the vision, I declared, “It’s time for the move of God that will destroy the enemy’s strongholds. It’s time for the fire word decrees, stored up for appointed times, to be loosed.” I believe this vision is now in its moment. The Holy Spirit and His angel armies are beginning to empty the prayer arsenals that have been filled with the “fire word decrees” of the Ekklesia. Holy Spirit stored these decrees for their appointed time, as described in Revelation 5:8: golden bowls in heaven, filled with the prayers and decrees of the saints. These “word seeds” have now grown and matured, and angels are assisting in bringing them to pass.  Continuation Several days later, I received a continuation of this vision. I was shown an aerial view of Ekklesia hubs throughout the world. As I watched, the roofs of each hub turned into a huge mouth! Holy Spirit declared that they were going to be a mouth in their region, decreeing the words of King Jesus. As the vision unfolded, I saw a crystal-clear, pure river flowing through the heart of each hub. It continued from there outward, flowing into the surrounding territories. At times, the river would branch off, forming new flows or streams. This “river system” was all connected, flowing through all the hubs in one continuous, unbroken flow. In other words, each Ekklesia hub carried the same river, and I knew this was a picture of “the river of God” flowing from God’s throne onto the earth. (See Ezekiel 47:1-12; John 7:37-38; Revelation 22:1-2) I then saw angels dressed in white with golden belts around their waists. Each hub had one angel hovering over it, holding a golden trumpet to his lips, sounding it loudly. They weren’t sounding forth musical notes or sounds, however, but words! The words they trumpeted read, “Everything lives where the river flows”  (See Ezekiel 47:9). As the voice of God thunders across the nations through the mouths of His angels and Ekklesia, demonic princes that have ruled territories with their dark agenda will be uprooted. Nations will be saved, and evil agendas, along with those who implement them, will fall.  I believe the supernatural river of God is beginning to flow on earth as never before. The greatest move of God is underway; Holy Spirit streams and rivers are rising. A Further Word While praying about this, Holy Spirit gave me the following word: To the Ekklesia of Christ the King: You will now advance into the most supernatural movement I have ever led. I am pouring out a fresh anointing, blending and synergizing that which I birthed in previous movements. These past movements will intersect with the Godhead’s current plans being activated in today’s great Reformation. Past anointings will merge and function together with today’s supernatural Kingdom, accomplishing My plans. The river of My Spirit has been rising as heaven’s rain has filled it, preparing for torrential flows throughout the earth. In this era, the river of God will flow through My Ekklesia hubs. Rushing, replenishing, and refreshing waters are flowing from Kingdom reservoirs, fed by Godhead rain and aquifers that will not run dry. Prepare to ride Spirit rivers. Kingdom Ekklesias will experience surges of the King’s great power. Heaven’s omnipotent King will reveal more of His power and glory in experiential ways. Regions, territories, and nations will revere His majesty, as the river of God now begins its flood stage flow through His heirs. Signs, wonders, miracles, healings, and deliverances will be seen as never before. You will see the strong arm of the Lord and the aggression of Heaven’s hosts, as they move on Kingdom assignments with My people.  My remnant warriors will rise in great might, moving with Me. Demons will tremble, not My heirs. Know and be confident, Ekklesia, that great winds of heaven will blow upon you just as they did upon My first Ekklesia. Pentecost winds are stirring in the atmosphere. Mighty, historic winds are building and will blow upon the sons and daughters. The winds of Holy Spirit will come - one after the other, wave after wave - each one stronger than the previous.  The winds will continue until full-blown power from Heaven, ordained for your time, is seen and experienced. They will build until their full effects are felt throughout the entire earth, affecting transformational changes. Wave after wave of Holy Spirit wind bands have begun; the outer bands are upon you. You will be carried forth, borne on Holy Spirit’s sustaining, prevailing, guiding, and refreshing winds.  They are not destructive winds; they are winds of grace blowing across harvest fields, white unto harvest. They carry good news, the redemptive power of the King’s forgiveness. They are winds of great deliverance, blowing away hell’s bondage, confusion, addictions, sin, brokenness, fear, and hopelessness. Grace winds are clearing the minds of prodigals, lifting the demonic fog, and lighting the way back home. They are grace winds carrying angel hosts for the time of reaping. For the angel hosts, by the multiplied thousands, are riding Holy Spirit’s atmospheric river into your times.  This is what I heard Holy Spirit say regarding the current season of Christ’s Ekklesia. Grace winds are blowing in the latter rains. The glory river is flowing and carrying the presence of Almighty God throughout the earth. We will steward this word, proclaiming and praying that the river will continue to rise and flow. Pray with me:  Lord, we believe and decree Your Word. You have said You’re going to send the latter rains, greater than anything we’ve experienced. We declare the release of these harvest rains that will cause Your mighty river to rise and flow through the entire world. We declare that grace winds will accompany Your river. We decree: let Your river flow, and let Your river rise to its fullest stage.  May the Ekklesias in our nation and around the world embrace the atmospheric river of Your Spirit. We decree that living water is springing up! Springs of Holy Spirit, are rising. We believe that the mighty river of God is going to fill the world with such strength that demons will tremble and strongholds will break. Release the rains of heaven as never before. Soak the earth with power for signs, wonders, and miracles. Release grace winds and bring prodigals home. Send the rain! In Jesus’ Name, Amen. Our decree:   We decree that the supernatural river of God is beginning to flow on earth as never before, and that everything lives where the river flows! Introduction Today’s post is taken from my book, The Pleasure of His Company . It is entitled:  PASSION WEEK: The Look Simon Peter is an interesting character. I love his realness. A down-to-earth fisherman grinding out a living in the small town of Capernaum on the Sea of Galilee, Peter was a tough, calloused, hard-nosed individual. This outspoken disciple sometimes wore his emotions on his sleeve - he once rebuked Jesus (Matthew 16:22) and later, at the Lord’s arrest, cut off the ear of the high priest’s servant (John 18:10). And, like many good fishermen, Peter was known to string out a few expletives, when the situation called for it (Matthew 26:74). One of Peter’s all-too-human moments came at the Last Supper, the night before Christ’s crucifixion. When Jesus spoke of His arrest and the disciples’ scattering, Peter spoke up and bragged, “I’ll never run. I’m ready to go to prison and die for you”  (Luke 22:33, paraphrased). I’m sure Peter believed his level of commitment was this great. Christ, however, knew otherwise and gave Peter the now famous  “before the cock crows, you’ll deny me three times”  prophecy (v. 34). “Simon, Simon,” Jesus told Peter. “Behold, satan has demanded permission to sift you like wheat; but I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail; and you, when once you have turned again, strengthen your brothers”  (vv. 31-32). The Lord’s prediction concerning Peter came true later that night.   Having followed Christ to His trial, Peter watched the proceedings from a distance. Then, he was accused of being one of Jesus’ disciples three times. By the time the third accusation came, things were in chaos - Christ was being slapped around, beaten, and spat upon, and a dangerous mob-like atmosphere was forming. In a confused state of panic, Peter buckled under the pressure. “I don’t know Him!” He shouted for the third time, peppering his denial with fowl language. Scripture says,  "He began to curse and swear"  (Matthew 26:74). Obviously, it was more than one expletive. The Look I find what happened next very moving. Jesus was close enough to hear him, and upon doing so,  “turned and looked at Peter”  (Luke 22:61). We’re left to guess what kind of look He gave Peter, but it certainly wasn’t one of shock or surprise; after all, He predicted the denial. Another possibility would be an angry, condemning, I-can’t-believe-you-just-did-that look. Knowing Christ as I do, I don’t believe this was the look He gave Peter, either. I’m reasonably confident the look Jesus gave this troubled, confused, and dedicated fisherman - who had left everything to follow Him - was one of deep compassion and reassurance: “Don’t worry, Peter, I understand. And I still believe in you. Remember, I saw this coming and prayed for you. Everything is going to be all right.” And I believe that with one glance, He saved Peter’s destiny. Seeing Christ’s look, Peter was undone. One can only imagine the flood of emotion he was experiencing. In Gethsemane, he had just seen Christ literally bleed through the pores of His skin, a condition called hematidrosis. Then came the arrest and beatings - Christ’s swollen face and torn clothing would have been covered in blood and spittle. And now this. Overcome with emotion, Peter fled the trial and “wept bitterly”  (Luke 22:62). The emotional roller coaster continued with the cross, three days of mourning, followed by the resurrection. As thrilled as the disciples were to see Jesus alive, however, things were still not the same. He kept vanishing and reappearing, only to leave again. He was gone most of the time. Finally, Peter had had enough. All of this was way above his pay grade. We are not told his exact train of thought, but I’m guessing it was something like this: I’m no Rabbi or theologian, and I’m not a prophet who can understand mysteries and see into the future. I don’t understand all of the theology, and certainly not the events of the last few days. Nothing has worked out the way I expected; I have no idea where Jesus even is. I’m going back to the only thing I really understand right now, my previous job. “I am going fishing,” he said to several of the other disciples (John 21:3). Also confused and unable to connect the dots, they simply said, “We’re going with you.” The Calling Revisited The Lord was sympathetic to their plight. He had caused it, after all, and He loved them. Christ knew if they could just hang on until Pentecost, all would be well. So, He told Dad, Holy Spirit, and Gabriel that He was going to make another earthly appearance. “The guys could use another encouraging word, especially Peter. I’m going to go cook them breakfast, visit with them awhile, and help them pay some bills.” And that’s exactly what He did. After the disciples had finished a fruitless night of fishing, Jesus was waiting on the beach. He already had a fire going and food cooking. “Come and have breakfast,” He invited them. It must have brought back great memories. We don’t know everything they talked about, but the pleasure of His company must have been wonderfully reassuring. Eventually, knowing Peter was still grieving over denying Him three times, Jesus began addressing the situation. Three times, He asked Peter if he loved Him, and each time, Peter responded affirmatively. Some theologians believe Jesus asked the question three times in order to offset the three denials. That seems likely, but the first time He asked it, Christ added the question,  “Do you love Me MORE THAN THESE”  (v. 15, emphasis mine). Was He referring to the other disciples, or was He referencing the fish? I believe it was the fish which represented Peter’s former livelihood and career. The Lord was about to reaffirm Peter’s calling. This is why Jesus chose to meet them at the same  location where their original calling had occurred, and why He worked the exact same  miracle. And if those repeats weren’t enough, He then gave Peter the same  command - twice - as He had on that first occasion.  “Follow me!”  He said to him (v. 19). Christ was saying emphatically to this ashamed and uncertain fisherman: “Your calling hasn’t changed, Peter. I still believe in and need you. Your failure didn’t disqualify you, and the fact that I’m not around at the present time hasn’t changed the plan. Hang in there - everything will make sense in a few more days.” And it did. On the day of Pentecost, Peter was born again and filled with the Holy Spirit. The Christ who used to walk beside him now lived IN him. Peter preached that day, and three thousand people were born again! A few days later, he healed a completely lame man known by the entire city of Jerusalem, and five thousand more people were saved! He had made it. The crusty, foul-mouthed, impetuous, confused denier had survived his trauma and made it through the most confusing and consequential season in world history. He stepped into the new era of redeemed humankind with strength and purpose. You’ll make it, too. If and when you fail Him - and most of us will at some point - look for the look. It’ll be there. When you’re grieving, confused, and uncertain, Jesus wants to take you to breakfast, not expel you from the family. Follow Him! Pray with me: Father, we are so grateful You look past our external deficiencies and at our hearts, seeing the gold that’s hidden there. You were fully aware of Peter’s weaknesses, yet You focused on the qualities Your love and compassion could see in him. Thank You, Lord, for Your commitment to our development and success. You never give up on us! Even when we are filled with confusion, fear, and failure-induced shame, You lovingly whisper, “Look at Me.” And with one glance of Your eyes, comfort, confidence, and new strength arise within us. Identity, destiny, renewed purpose, and faith for the future are found in those fiery eyes that burn with passion for us.  Today, we choose to stare back into Your intense gaze. Our decree: We declare that we will follow Jesus, and will always remember to “look for The Look.” Today’s post was taken from my book, The Pleasure of His Company , published by Baker Books. On tomorrow’s post, Good Friday, we will be taking Communion together. Click on the link below to watch the full video.

PASSION WEEK: President Trump Celebrates the Resurrection For a while, believing that we would see God honored again through those who lead our nation seemed beyond our reach. Hopelessness tried to hold us hostage for four years. Our national leaders purposefully exalted death, assaulted our freedoms, imprisoned some for their beliefs, and had a blatant, in-your-face disregard for our Christian faith. They shoved DEI down our throats and tried to keep us from ever envisioning a whole America again. But we did not lose our courage; we continued to dream God’s dreams, and our prayers are now writing history! This week, Brooke Singman of Fox News reported on President Trump’s plans to honor the Passion Week of Christ. “‘The newly created White House Faith Office is grateful to share that President Trump will honor and celebrate Holy Week and Easter with the observance it deserves,’ Jennifer Korn, Faith Director of the White House Faith Office, told Fox News Digital. ‘Throughout the week, we will distribute a Holy Week proclamation, a special presidential video message (and) host a pre-Easter dinner and White House staff Easter service.’ “Korn said it ‘will be a special time of prayer and worship at the White House  to be shared with Americans celebrating the week leading up to Resurrection Sunday.’” (1) Contrast that to Biden’s utter disrespect for the Cross and Resurrection of Christ. “Karoline Leavitt noted that, last year, the Biden White House marked Easter Sunday, which fell on March 31, 2024, the most solemn Christian holiday, as Transgender Day of Visibility.” (2) Both Biden and Obama before him took the disrespect of God and America’s Judeo-Christian heritage to new levels. Biden allowed bare-chested transgender individuals to show off their breasts on the White House lawn. Obama lit up the White House with the colors of the pride flag when the Supreme Court mocked God’s definition of marriage and came up with its own. Throughout their presidencies, both of them intentionally mocked God and His Word, as well as the American church. This has brought great disgrace to our nation, just as the Scriptures warned us would occur when the unrighteous rule:  “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people”  (Proverbs 14:34). God, in His mercy, has now given us a President who honors Him. This was prophesied by Kim Clement eighteen years ago, way back in 2007: “Trump shall become a trumpet! says the Lord. No, you didn’t hear me. Trump shall become a trumpet! Are you listening to me? I will raise up the Trump to become a trumpet. He will be a praying president, not a religious one. But I will fool the people, says the Lord. I will fool the people. Yes, I will. “God says, The one that is chosen shall go in, and they shall say, ‘He has hot blood.’ For the Spirit of God says, Yes, he may have hot blood, but he will bring the walls of protection on this country in a greater way, and the economy of this country shall change rapidly, says the Lord of Hosts.  “Listen to the word of the Lord. God says, I will put at your helm for two terms a president who will pray, but he will not be a praying president when he starts. I will put him in office, and then I will baptize him with the Holy Spirit and my power, says the Lord of Hosts.” (3)   We now have a praying, God-honoring President and White House staff! We are told by God and His Word that this produces blessings.  “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn” (Proverbs 29:2).  This is the beginning of America’s reset and reformation. President Trump called it a “Golden Age,” and prophets have called it a “renaissance.” The dictionary gave the phrase “golden age” as a synonym of renaissance. How about that–prophets and the President are saying the same thing regarding this time in America. And remember, what God is doing is not just for America, but for the great worldwide harvest that is truly beginning. This week, President Trump released a message to honor Christ. Here it is, in case you haven’t seen it; read it and rejoice. And the President’s closing prayer will be our prayer today: “This Holy Week, Melania and I join in prayer with Christians celebrating the crucifixion and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ—the living Son of God who conquered death, freed us from sin, and unlocked the gates of Heaven for all of humanity. Beginning with Christ’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday and culminating in the Paschal Triduum, which begins on Holy Thursday with the Mass of the Lord’s Supper, followed by Good Friday, and reaching its pinnacle in the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday night. This week is a time of reflection for Christians to memorialize Jesus’ crucifixion—and to prepare their hearts, minds, and souls for His miraculous Resurrection from the dead. “During this sacred week, we acknowledge that the glory of Easter Sunday cannot come without the sacrifice Jesus Christ made on the Cross. In His final hours on Earth, Christ willingly endured excruciating pain, torture, and execution on the Cross out of a deep and abiding love for all His creation. Through His suffering, we have redemption. Through His death, we are forgiven of our sins. Through His Resurrection, we have hope of eternal life. On Easter morning, the stone is rolled away, the tomb is empty, and light prevails over darkness—signaling that death does not have the final word. “This Holy Week, my Administration renews its promise to defend the Christian faith in our schools, military, workplaces, hospitals, and halls of government. We will never waver in safeguarding the right to religious liberty, upholding the dignity of life, and protecting God in our public square. “As we focus on Christ’s redeeming sacrifice, we look to His love, humility, and obedience—even in life’s most difficult and uncertain moments. This week, we pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon our beloved Nation . We pray that America will remain a beacon of faith, hope, and freedom for the entire world, and we pray to achieve a future that reflects the truth, beauty, and goodness of Christ’s eternal Kingdom in Heaven. “May God bless you and your family during this special time of year, and may He continue to bless the United States of America.” (4) Decree with me: America shall be saved! Introduction As we approach the time we celebrate the death and resurrection of our Savior, Christ Jesus, I remind you that it occurred in the month of Nisan. The timing of the revelation regarding Nisan, and the in-depth meaningful studies we have done in recent GH15s, have led us up to this pivotal week - no doubt orchestrated by Holy Spirit. For the remainder of this week, we will gratefully remember the sacrifice Christ made for us. The title of today’s post is: Passion Week: Human, As Well As Divine As Jesus approached the day of His crucifixion, the human part of Him experienced a deep emotional struggle. We sometimes forget Jesus was truly human as well as divine, with very real human emotions. He experienced the pain of grief, sorrow, and rejection; He knew the pleasure of joy, peace, hope, and love. As our representative and substitute, Christ functioned as a true human - minus the sin nature. He did not rely on His deity to face life’s situations. Jesus, therefore, did not simply switch into His God nature in order to endure the ordeal of the Cross and the events leading up to it.  He began making His final journey to Jerusalem - and the Cross - in Luke 9:51: “ When the days were approaching for His ascension, He was determined to go to Jerusalem. ” The emotional strain of knowing what was coming became very challenging to Christ. In Luke 12:50, He said,  “I have a baptism to undergo. How distressed I am till it is accomplished.”  This was still several weeks before the Cross, yet the emotional pressure was already wearing on Him. The word “distressed” here is also the Greek word for a prisoner, or someone held fast by something they cannot escape from; it also means to be in mental anguish.  Luke, whose gospel emphasizes Christ’s humanness more than the other three, reminds us 10 more times - some of them through direct quotes from Christ Himself - that He was focused on getting to Jerusalem. It was never far from His thinking. His emotions must have been raw as He thought of the Old Testament prophecies describing His coming ordeal. And when He rounded the last curve, crested the last hill, and saw Jerusalem, He began weeping uncontrollably (Luke 19:41). Wuest’s literal translation of the Greek New Testament says “And as He came near, having caught sight of the city, He burst into tears, weeping audibly over it...” Christ’s request to the Father while agonizing in Gethsemane - “Let this cup pass from Me”  - was genuine. Describing this time in the garden, the Greek text literally says that Christ, in His anguish, fell repeatedly to the ground. The words used to describe His trauma mean: to be in a state of great anxiety, even disoriented; exceedingly sorrowful; overwhelmed with sadness, encompassed by grief. Wuest’s translation says Christ was “thoroughly alarmed and distressed...even to the point of death.”  This is what caused His capillaries to burst, a condition known as hematidrosis, causing drops of blood to literally drip from His pores onto the ground. I believe our redemption actually began there in the garden when the first drops of blood began to fall. It was then that He bore our griefs and sorrows (Isaiah 53:4). His disciples observed His struggle, even as they wrestled to remain awake with Him in prayer. They had no idea they were about to enter a whirlwind of catastrophic events, observing the arrest, trial, beating, abuse, and crucifixion of the One they had set their hopes on. Their next few hours would be tormenting and traumatic. Then they watched as Jesus was tortured, killed, and laid in a tomb. No doubt they were very confused, their minds spinning from the events of the last two days, trying to make some sense of it all. They likely rehearsed the things He had said to them over and over again.  The disciples definitely did not realize Jesus was going to die. It is also clear that they did not believe He would be resurrected on the third day, though He had told them this would occur. They didn’t know what  to think. Their troubled souls had no idea what God was doing. There are times in our lives when we find ourselves in a similar place. Life seems good, or at least normal. We trust the Lord and enjoy our walk with Him, our time with family and friends. Then, difficult changes occur. During covid, for example, we lived through an entire year in which many unpleasant changes came upon us suddenly. We were forced into isolation for a season. Then, other transitions began. Some lost loved ones, others experienced job losses or forced career changes. Some had to start new businesses or even move to other locales to find work. The way we educate our children was altered, and entire families had to adjust. The church had to find new ways to worship, minister to one another, and evangelize.  When circumstances change at this level, we must run TO God, not FROM Him. He knows what is happening, what is on the horizon. He is our peace, our hope, and He has promised us a victorious future. On the days between Gethsemane and the Resurrection, the earth reeled from satan’s activities against Christ. But a wonderful surprise was coming! Victory was on the horizon, though no one knew this yet. God was working behind the scenes, vanquishing the enemy and sprinkling the Mercy Seat with Christ’s blood. His plan was taking shape and would soon be revealed. Don’t be anxious, church. Don’t let fear, confusion, or anger, rooted in the chaos of our times, overtake you. Spend time with your Father. Quiet your soul, and wait upon Him. He will speak, comfort you, and prepare you for what He has planned. David, the Psalmist, when in exile from his homeland and living in a dark cave, said, “ I certainly believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; Be strong and let your heart take courage; yes, wait for the Lord,”  (Psalm 27:13-14 NASB). Pray with me: Lord, we will seek You, and we will find You. You have made promises to us, and You will do what You have said. Hope has risen in us, giving way to faith. We are listening for Your instructions. You have planned for the success of the church. You will make us victorious–like You! You have planned for harvest and have done so well. A great outpouring of Your glory has begun with signs and wonders poured out. Your Kingdom power will hit this earth like a powerful tsunami, and You want us ready. We WILL be ready! Let Your suddenlies manifest, Lord! Creative miracles, be! Radical salvations, occur! Sudden resources, flood in! Let Your power and glory be seen in and through us, Lord! Break all the pain, fear, and anxiety of the last season off of Your people. Let all its effects be washed away by the power of Your resurrection and the magnificence of Your presence. We exalt Your holy name, Jesus. Amen. Our decree: We declare that our faith in God’s plan is strong! Revival has begun! Click on the link below to watch the full video

Introduction On Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of last week, I shared posts on the month of Nisan and its rich meanings, especially our redemption through Christ. Thank you for the wonderful feedback I have received. One of the things we learned was that the resurrection of Christ occurred on the 17th of Nisan, which begins tomorrow evening at sunset and goes through the day on Wednesday (April 15-16 on our calendar) ( LINK to Friday’s post ). However, most Christians will celebrate Easter on Sunday, April 20.  As you prepare to celebrate Resurrection Day, I thought I would share with you an event that occurred on the actual day Christ rose from the dead, Nisan 17. It is in the latter half of today’s post, which is taken from my book, The Pleasure of His Company . Today’s title is:  The Visit  It should come as no surprise that the primary place to receive revelation is the Lord’s presence. He wants to speak to us, not shout from far away. Spending time with God and His Word allows Him to access our minds, revealing spiritual insights and His wisdom for our lives.  The power of the revelation flowing in Christ’s presence can be seen through two meetings He had with some of His early followers. As He was beginning His earthly ministry, Jesus visited John the Baptist, who publicly announced concerning Him,  “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29, 36). Two of John’s disciples heard this stunning announcement and decided to check Him out. One of them was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, who became one of the twelve disciples. As they followed Him, Jesus noticed, turned to them, and asked,  “What do you seek?”  (verse 38). Their answer was interesting.  “Rabbi (which translated means ‘Teacher’), where are you staying?”  (verse 38). “Come, and you will see,” was His invitation to them. They took Him up on His offer and ended up spending the day with Him (v. 39). If you’re content with things as they are, spending a day with Jesus isn’t a good idea! Having a private audience with Him for an entire day is going to change you. Radically. The conversation might be superficial at first. At some point, however, you would no doubt ask personal questions concerning yourself and your future. Everyone thinks about purpose. Experts tell us that the desire to know our purpose is one of the strongest desires we humans have. Did these two men ask Jesus about this? We don’t know for certain, but perhaps, because something Andrew heard while with Jesus impacted him so greatly, he decided on a career change, becoming one of Christ’s twelve disciples! Destiny flows from days spent with Jesus. Andrew received another revelation, however, that day, which had to do–not with his own identity–but Christ’s. He began the day by referring to Jesus simply as a teacher (“Rabbi”); he ended it by calling Him the Messiah.  “He found first his own brother Simon, and said to him, ‘We have found the Messiah’ (which translated means Christ)”  (John 1:41).  On that day with Jesus, Andrew received the two most important revelations needed for a successful life: who Christ  is, and who he  was. When those two things are realized, they unlock destiny. The purpose of anything is found in the mind of its creator, not in itself. Self-identity comes from identifying and knowing the One who made us. You’ll never really find yourself until you find Him. Andrew found both that day. Resurrection Day - Nisan 17 At the end of Christ’s ministry, two more of His followers had a revelatory encounter with Him. The meeting occurred three days after the Cross; to say their world had turned topsy-turvy would be a gross understatement. To have discovered, lived with, and traveled with Jesus for three years, only to lose Him, would be life’s cruelest injustice. These two men were informed earlier in the day that Christ had risen from the dead. But, really, who would believe two grief-stricken ladies claiming to have been visited by angels (Luke 24:1-12)? As they walked the seven-mile journey to Emmaus, they discussed this too-good-to-be-true report and all that had transpired over the past few days.  That’s when He arrived . “And it came about that while they were conversing and discussing, Jesus himself approached, and began traveling with them. But their eyes were prevented from recognizing Him”  (Luke 24:15-16). “What are you discussing?” He wanted to know. They gave Jesus a brief summary, expressing their surprise that He would even have to ask. “What else would we be discussing?” was their inference. It seems everyone in Jerusalem could think of little else than what had transpired with Christ the last few days, since so many of them had thought He might be the long-awaited Messiah. They spoke to Him of their devastation and also of the rumor that He had risen from the dead. Jesus, His identity still hidden from them, “explained to them the things concerning Himself in all the Scriptures”  (v. 27), including the fact that He had to suffer and die. Though they still didn’t know it was Jesus, His words began impacting their hearts.  “Were not our hearts burning within us while He was speaking to us... explaining the Scriptures to us?”  they stated (v. 32). When they reached their destination, the men pleaded with Jesus to stay longer with them, perhaps spend the night. The Lord agreed to do so, and during dinner, “He took the bread and blessed it, and breaking it, He began giving it to them. And their eyes were opened and they recognized Him”  (vv. 30-31). He disappeared from their site at that moment, and they hurried back the seven miles to Jerusalem with the good news: Christ was, indeed, risen. I find it more than a coincidence that Christ chose to temporarily hide from these men who He was, in order to release the revelation “in the breaking of the bread” (v. 35). Was the timing His way of saying to them, “Sup with Me and I will reveal to you hidden things?”  I believe so. Feed on His words (Matthew 4:4). Eat them. As you do, revelation will come. He will reveal Himself to you, just as He did these two men. And just as occurred with Andrew, He will also reveal to you your purpose and destiny.  Spend some time with Jesus– He is risen! Pray with me: Father, there is so much we need to hear from You. Jesus said Your Words are spirit and life (John 6:63). Filled with revelation and wisdom, they give us the insights we need to succeed in life. Remind us, in these perilous times, to take the time and sup with You. As our Creator, You alone know what is best for us and the purpose for which You made us. We want to fulfill that purpose. As we walk with You, You will reveal this destiny, and Yourself, to us. Help us all to remember that times with You are the most important of our lives. Open our eyes, just as You did for Andrew and the two disciples on the road to Emmaus. We pray, as Paul did in Ephesians 1:17-20 (TPT‬‬):  “I pray that the Father of glory, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, would impart to you the riches of the Spirit of wisdom and the Spirit of revelation to know Him through your deepening intimacy with Him. I pray that the light of God will illuminate the eyes of your imagination, flooding you with light until you experience the full revelation of the hope of His calling —that is, the wealth of God’s glorious inheritances that He finds in us, His holy ones! I pray that you will continually experience the immeasurable greatness of God’s power made available to you through faith. Then your lives will be an advertisement of this immense power as it works through you! This is the mighty power that was released when God raised Christ from the dead and exalted Him to the place of highest honor and supreme authority in the heavenly realm!” ‭‭ Our decree: We declare that Christ is alive, and we have been raised to a new life through Him! History’s Divine Orchestrator This past Wednesday, at the encouragement of several leaders, I began a series of posts on what I feel God is saying to the church at this time, highlighting the “month of miracles” - Nisan. My brother Tim’s comments summarize their consensus well: “I think the teaching you gave about Nisan is not just for the Healing Summit. There is a heavy weight on this word right now. Yes, signs, wonders, and miracles are accelerating, but I believe a broader launch is beginning. I sense that it may be a prophetic word concerning a worldwide move of Holy Spirit, that God is announcing the launch of revival and reformation through this word.” Yesterday’s post summarized many events that have occurred down through history in the month of Nisan, which symbolized redemption and new beginnings. If you have not read these previous two posts, I highly recommend that you do so; they will give greater context for today’s, which is regarding seven events that took place on the seventeenth day of Nisan. The number 17 in Scripture represents “complete victory, overcoming the enemy” (1)  and “the perfection of God’s divine order.” (2) First, I will list these seven events, then make comments. They are: Noah’s Ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat on this day. (Genesis 8:4) The Israelites entered Egypt on this day in order to survive a severe famine, where they lived for 430 years. (Genesis 46; Exodus 12:40-41) Israel crossed the Red Sea in the Exodus on Nisan 17, 430 years “to the very day” from when they entered Egypt. (Exodus 12:40-41) After crossing the Jordan River under Joshua’s leadership, Israel ate the fruit of the promised land for the first time on this day. God had told them they would spend 40 years in the wilderness because of their unbelief (Numbers 14:34). On the 40th anniversary of them crossing the Red Sea - “on that very day”  – they ate the first fruits of Canaan. (Joshua 5:10-11) King Hezekiah, in his reformation, rededicated and opened the cleansed temple, which had been defiled. (2 Chronicles 29:1-28) After Queen Esther led a three-day fast, the tables were turned on wicked Haman, and he was hung on the gallows he had built for Mordecai. (Esther 7:10) Jesus rose from the dead. (Luke 24:1-8) It is inconceivable, apart from divine causation, that these events all occurred on the same day in history. One article said the odds against it are about 1 in 784 quadrillion (1 in 783,864,876,960,000,000, to be exact!). (3)  Think about the flood, followed by Noah’s Ark coming to rest ON THE SAME DAY Jesus rose from the dead. “Thousands of years before the resurrection, God engineered history to point toward the pinnacle event of salvation. Just as the ancient judgment ended on the day the ark touched the ground, so the judgment of the restored world ended on the same day of the year, when the tomb could not hold [Jesus].” (4) What other than the omniscient mind and omnipotent power of God could produce such a feat? The exact amount of rain had to fall; therefore, it had to begin on just the right day so that the weather patterns would cause just enough water to evaporate, causing the Ark to touch ground  ON THAT DAY,  which would be Resurrection Day! This is far beyond human comprehension. Causing Israel to leave the land of Egypt ON THE EXACT SAME DAY  430 years after they entered is just a bit mind-boggling also. As you think about how incredible that is, remember that God had to orchestrate all of the events leading up to it at the exact right time. He orchestrated Moses’ birth and rescue. He had to encounter Moses at the burning bush far enough in advance to overcome his insecurities and get him back to Egypt. He had to calculate the timing of all the plagues, factoring in the amount of time the Egyptians would take to give their answers. He had to time how long it would take the thousands of Israelites to pack and journey to the Red Sea. Then he had to roll back the Red Sea at exactly the right time for them to cross out of Egypt and into the land – ON THE EXACT DAY they had entered it 430 years earlier!  Then there is that Nisan 17 just after Joshua had led Israel across the Jordan and into the promised land. They ate the first fruits of the land  ON THAT DAY , and began the seven-day conquest of Jericho (Joshua 5:13-6:5). That means that the day Joshua met Jesus, “the Captain of the host of the Lord” (Joshua 5:13), was THE EXACT SAME DAY hundreds of years later that “ The Captain ” stepped onto earth’s battlefield, conquerred death and stepped from the tomb.  Did you get that?  ON THE VERY DAY!  This might be a good place to pause and remind yourself that God can do what He says. If He can take out Haman on the very day He would rise from the dead a few centuries down the road, He can deal with all that Haman’s boss, satan, sends your way. (Feel free to pause the video and run around the room for a few minutes, if necessary.) Nisan 17 – literal Resurrection Day – will be April 15-16 this year, next Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning. (Remember that the Jewish new day starts at sundown and continues until sundown the following day.) Remember this anniversary when you get out of bed next Wednesday morning. On that day, celebrate your redemption, the beginning of the new life Yeshua gave you when you were born again. And remember – in the face of all adversity and difficulty – that Pharaoh is dead, Jericho fell, Haman was hung, satan is defeated, and the tomb is empty. Your “Captain” won the war, and He will take care of you. Pray with me: Father, we believe You are drawing attention to this Hebrew month, Nisan, to make a strong statement. You are announcing, reminding us that You are Creator and Redeemer, well able to save. Christ is our Savior, Healer, Deliverer, and conquering King. He will not fail us, but will do all He has promised. In this “month of miracles,” You are releasing another wave of Your mighty redemptive power, bringing victory and new beginnings throughout the earth.  In this “month of speech,” we declare that we will have our breakthroughs. We will see Your salvation, Your miracles, the return of prodigals, and the great awakening You have promised move into full power. Lives will be saved, and America shall be saved. And millions around the world will be saved. As we celebrate Passover weekend, we will do so with a new and fresh revelation of our salvation and Your desire to save. You love to save and redeem, not destroy. You love to bless, not curse. You are the Giver, not the taker. And you are our Father.  Our decree: We decree this day that we have crossed the Jordan into our promised land, and with grateful hearts will eat the fruit He has promised. Introduction The Healing Summit in Ohio this past Friday night was a great success. Many people were touched and healed by the power of God. Just as importantly, reports are indicating that healings occurred in other churches and locations. I remain confident that the prayers of agreement which spanned America and other nations, are now being used by Holy Spirit to release, not only healings, but a new movement of signs and wonders. This will be a part of the evolving revival, causing millions to believe the gospel of Jesus Christ. Thank you for praying and believing with us for this. I’ll be sharing testimonies from individuals in the coming days. Today’s post is from Ché Ahn’s powerful new book entitled Blueprints for Transformation: Bringing Revival and Reformation to the Nations,  and it is a perfect follow-up to Friday night’s Healing Summit. The title of today’s post is: HOW TO MOVE IN POWER EVANGELISM   The Great Commission cannot truly be fulfilled in our own human strength—rather, we must rely on the power of the Holy Spirit. Zechariah 4:6 declares, “‘ Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’  says the LORD of hosts.” The biblical basis for power evangelism is clear: 1. Jesus Needed Power: In His three years of ministry, Jesus did everything in complete reliance on the Holy Spirit. He healed the sick, cast out demons, raised the dead, multiplied food, and walked on water in response to what He saw and heard the Father doing (John 5:19). He did all of this in His humanity, as a man filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. 2. The Early Church Needed Power: Before ascending into heaven, Jesus commanded His disciples to receive the power of the Holy Spirit by waiting in the upper room (Acts 1:4, 8). The Holy Spirit was then poured out on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1–4), enabling them to walk in the supernatural power of Christ’s kingdom. 3. Paul Needed Power:  Likewise, the apostle Paul acknowledged His dependency on the power of the Holy Spirit. In his first letter to the church at Corinth, he wrote, “My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power” (1 Corinthians 2:4 NIV). The gospel was never meant to be dependent upon the words of man. Holy Spirit has always been God’s intended means of bringing a visible demonstration of His Kingdom to this earth. Two Keys to Operating in Power Evangelism First, we must be sensitive to the prophetic voice of the Holy Spirit. If you belong to Jesus, you are one of His sheep, and Jesus said that His sheep hear His voice (John 10:27). God created you with the innate capacity to hear Him.  Second, I encourage you to look for those who are hurting physically, and if the circumstance is right, ask if you can pray for them. Hearing God’s voice and being led prophetically by Him are keys to seeing healing in power evangelism. Let me share a story with you about what this can practically look like. One morning, sometime around 2008, I was leaving my house to go to the church office. At that time, the office was by Mott Auditorium in Pasadena. My neighbor Ann, a hospice nurse, called out to me from across the street. Ann and her husband, Andy, were the typical unchurched yuppie couple. Sue and I had often witnessed to them, inviting them over for a barbecue and giving them gifts for Christmas and Easter each year, as we just wanted to love on our neighbors. Seeing her wave me over, I walked to the driveway across the street to talk with her. “What’s up, Ann?” “Ché, I have a patient who has been in a coma for two weeks,” Ann told me. “She’s 90 years old, and I think she’s going to die any minute now. Could you come and give her last rites?” To be honest with you, I had no idea how to give last rites. Ann came from a Roman Catholic background, so she saw me as a priest. I said, “I’ll be happy to, but I have a meeting in Altadena.” “The patient is in Altadena,” she replied. “Great, let me drive my car over, and then after I see your patient, I’ll head to our church office.” Thus was the arrangement. In my mind, I figured I would just say the Disciple’s Prayer, quote Psalm 23, and that would be it. So, I followed behind Ann in my car for the short trek to Altadena. When we arrived at a small two-bedroom bungalow, I got out of the car and was led to the elderly woman’s room where a Filipina nurse was attending her. The patient’s name was Lois. She was indeed in a coma, by all appearances, shriveled up, and connected to an IV and some other basic life support. The moment I walked in the room, I heard the Lord say to me, “Raise her from the coma and preach the gospel to her.” Now, I didn’t want to alarm Ann because she had a very traditional expectation of what I was there to do. I turned to her and said, “Do you mind if I pray a different kind of prayer than give the last rites?” She said, “What do you mean?” “Do you mind if I pray that God would heal her?” Ann looked at me like, I knew you were a religious fanatic . She said, “You can do whatever you want to do,” and then she walked over to the corner of the room where the other nurse was standing.  With that permission, I leaned over the bedside and said a simple prayer: “Father, in Jesus’ name, I command Lois to come out of the coma and for her to hear the gospel.” Two or three seconds later, Lois suddenly opened her eyes. Seeing an unfamiliar Korean man standing over her bed, she immediately said, “Who are you?” I was so stunned by her coming out of the coma so quickly that I just said, “I'm a pastor.” “I can’t believe you’re a pastor,” she said, “because I prayed, ‘God, keep me alive until You send a pastor to tell me how I can go to heaven.’” I told her, “Lois, God has heard your prayers, and I’m going to tell you how you can get to heaven.” So, I shared the gospel with her, and she gave her life to Jesus Christ. When I came back later to follow up and read the Bible to Lois, the Filipina nurse also gave her heart to Jesus. A few months later, Ann came to our church service on Easter Sunday, and she was the first one to walk forward when I gave the altar call for salvation. Thus, God brought salvation to all three women as a result of Lois’ miracle! God desires all to be saved. He is constantly speaking—we just have to be listening. When we tune into the voice of the Holy Spirit, we must then be obedient and follow His leading to see supernatural results. Pray with me: Father, thank You for the many reports of healings we are receiving from Friday night’s gathering. I thank You also for the healings that began and will continue until the individuals are completely well. And thank You for releasing gifts of the Spirit to people around the world, enabling them to minister in healing anointing ongoingly, as Holy Spirit leads. You have shown many people that a wave of the miraculous, of signs and wonders, is beginning throughout the world. We ask for this to increase quickly and very powerfully.  We also continue to pray for the changes needed in America’s government. We ask You for a shaking of all that is unrighteous, including the judicial system and its use of lawfare to hinder the changes we need. Give Congress the strategy needed to end this injustice. We pray for continued exposure of fraud and waste, and that President Trump and his team be guided to make wise decisions.  And lastly, we continue to stand against the principality You referred to as “the Prince of Persia” in Scripture. This evil spirit has been responsible for hundreds of thousands, perhaps millions of lives being destroyed. He breeds hatred, pain, and death. End his stronghold in that region. And break the influence of Iran, a nation he has used for centuries. We love the people of Iran and ask You for a continuation of the revival taking place there, and throughout the Middle East while also asking for the end of this evil stronghold. Release many signs and wonders into that region. All of this we pray in Jesus’ name. Amen. Our decree: We decree that the new movement of signs and wonders in the earth has begun. The Month of Redemption Yesterday,  at the encouragement of several leaders, I began a series of posts on what I feel God is saying to the church at this time, highlighting the “month of miracles” - Nisan. In the words of my brother Tim: “I think the teaching you gave about Nisan is not just for the Healing Summit. There is a heavy weight on this word right now. Yes, signs, wonders, and miracles are accelerating, but I believe a broader launch is beginning. I sense that it may be a prophetic word concerning a worldwide move of Holy Spirit, that God is announcing the launch of revival and reformation through this word.” Why would God highlight this Hebrew month, and why would He choose it to launch a movement? Let’s dig a little deeper.  There are two calendar years in Israel: one civil and one spiritual/religious. Nisan is the 7th month of the civil year and, at God’s decree, became the first month of the religious year. When He delivered Israel from Egypt and established Passover, Yahweh spoke: “And the Lord spoke unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.”  (Exodus 12:1-2) Though this occasion delineated Nisan as the first month of the religious calendar year - the one God would operate by - it wasn’t the beginning of the month’s significance; Nisan was already a VERY significant time period to the Lord. In fact, Jewish Rabbi Joshua states in the Talmud that Yahweh began the creation of the universe on Nisan 1! (1)  No wonder He told Moses in the above verse that Nisan was the “beginning of months.” And God began tabulating earth’s history from then. This forever established Nisan as the month of beginnings, or as we sometimes refer to a fresh start, new beginnings. This month also marks the beginning of spring in Israel, which symbolizes renewal and new beginnings as well.  The renewals and new beginnings Nisan is associated with often include the concept of redemption. This can be seen by the fact that in Nisan:  Noah’s Ark came to rest after the flood. (Genesis 8:4)  Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob were born, marking new phases of God’s redemptive plan. (2) God made covenant with Abraham, which began the process of bringing the Messiah to us. (Genesis 15) Jacob’s name was changed to Israel, launching his new beginning and that of the nation through whom Messiah would come. (Genesis 32)  Moses had his encounter at the burning bush, inaugurating his renewal and fresh start, as well as Israel’s Exodus a year later. (Exodus 3-4) Passover was instituted, and the Exodus occurred, beginning a new season for Israel (Exodus 12); this pictured the Cross and our redemption.  The bitter waters of Marah were healed by throwing a tree into them, picturing Christ being cast into the bitter waters of spiritual death, on a “tree,” removing the curse and giving us the sweet water of life. It was also here that Yahweh announced, “I am the Lord that healeth thee.”  (Exodus 15:22-26)  The Tabernacle was first set up on Nisan 1 (Exodus 40:2), marking the beginning of Israel’s system of worship.  The flooded Jordan River, picturing the spiritual death separating us from our redemption and inheritance, was “cut off,” allowing Joshua to lead Israel across and into the promised land (Joshua 3-4). Notice that the Jordan was not rolled back but was “cut off,” and this was done several miles upstream at a town named Adam (Joshua 3:16). This symbolized the “cutting off” of the spiritual waters of death that flowed to us from Adam. The entire story of Joshua leading Israel across and into the promised land was a picture of our glorious redemption through Christ.  Daniel was delivered from the lions. (Daniel 6) The return to the land of Israel from the Babylonian exile under Ezra and Nehemiah began (Ezra 7:9). Nehemiah actually received permission to rebuild Jerusalem and its walls on the first of Nisan (Nehemiah 2.1) Haman’s plan to destroy the Jews was enacted, as well as Esther’s three-day fast for deliverance from the plot. (Esther 3:12; 4:16) Sennacherib and the Assyrian army’s attempt to destroy Israel was thwarted by one angel. (2 Chronicles 32)  Christ, our Passover Lamb, was sacrificed on the Cross, bringing redemption and a new beginning for the entire human race.  Obviously, much more could be said regarding these events; they are loaded with insights and revelation. And there are other significant events picturing redemption and marking new beginnings that occurred in Nisan, which we cannot cover here. Suffice it to say that this time period was and is sacred to the Lord, the time when He began His dream of family, and the time He chose to recapture  this dream at the Cross! Our original birth and the new birth  - Nisan! No wonder the month is special to Abba. Remember this as you celebrate Passover this upcoming Saturday and Sunday.  It should come as no surprise - in light of the above - that Nisan is considered the month of miracles. It is also considered the month of speech, in part because this is when God created the universe with His words. Also, God commanded Israel to tell the story of Passover and the Exodus, which occurred in Nisan, to their children. The Jews know death and life are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). To them, Nisan is considered a time for renewed focus on words and their power, because they set the course for the future. (3) Conclusion Has God chosen this incredibly significant and holy month, which represents His original creation, the new creation, and so many other acts of redemption, to launch another phase of the great revival beginning on earth? I believe so. Align your speech with His. Declare that revival is coming to you, your family, your city, and your nation. Declare that freedom, healing, redemption, and deliverance are yours through Christ.  Tomorrow, we will look at Nisan once more, highlighting its amazing connection to victory. Pray with me: Father, we are incredibly blessed and humbled by the fact that You use us to accomplish Your purposes. We will forever be amazed that You chose to create a family and make them instrumental in Your Kingdom coming to earth. We choose to align with these purposes, not allowing them to go unaccomplished from a lack of involvement on our part. We will partner with You, asking and acting in faith. We continue to release prayers for worldwide revival. And as a part of this, we release faith-filled prayers for signs, wonders, and miracles. We ask for the gifts of Holy Spirit to be released to believers around the world, facilitating these works of power and the fruit of Christ’s redemption. Heal the sick, deliver the oppressed, set captive people free through His body, the church. Do a work so significant in this regard during April/Nisan that history will record it as a time when great miracles began, just as in Acts 2.   Father, You have not been caught off guard or surprised by the evil of our day. You warned us very clearly in Your Word that it would occur. You also gave us amazing examples of Your ability to deal with it. We remember this today.  We do not minimize the suffering of so many at this time, but neither do we surrender to it as the final chapter. You ARE the Deliverer. You ARE He who restores and heals. You give fresh starts, new beginnings, turnarounds, and right minds. You destroy Hamans, close the mouths of lions, and cause bad to work for good when we keep our faith anchored to You. And we do so today.    Give deliverance from evil throughout the earth. Save and restore. And based on Your instructions in Matthew 6:10, we command the release of Your Kingdom authority, goodness, and will into our lives. And all this we do in our representation of Christ and His authority. We ask that You glorify Jesus, advance Your Kingdom, and release Your compassion to people here in America and around the world. In Jesus’ name we pray this. Amen. Our decree: We decree that in the month of new beginnings there will be new beginnings! Do It Again At the recent Healing Summit , I shared for a few minutes about the Hebrew month of Nisan  (March 30-April 28 in 2025), which I also mentioned in a recent GH15 post. Over the weekend, my brother, Tim, texted me saying: “I think your teaching about Nisan was not just for the Healing Summit. There is heavy weight on this word right now. Yes, signs, wonders, and miracles are accelerating, but I believe a broader launch is beginning. I feel it may be a prophetic word concerning a worldwide move of Holy Spirit, that God is announcing the launch of revival and reformation through this word.  “I believe the truths surrounding the month,  Nisan , and the call its message releases will resonate with the body of Christ, causing them to begin moving forth into great, great promise. I think it is trumpeting a call of Holy Spirit to the church to move into supernatural times of promise, just as it did in the exodus and other events in Israel.  “Perhaps you should consider doing some Give Him 15 messages on the subject.” A couple of the other team members also commented on the message being timely and expressed that I should consider some posts on the subject. I feel that they may be right. I am certainly not an expert on all things Hebraic, but over the next few days will be sharing some of the insights I have discovered.  First, I should comment on why God would choose a particular time of year, such as Nisan , to do or launch something significant. A Messianic Rabbi once asked me ( a post from July 25, 2023 ), “Do you know what the Hebrew word for ‘testimony’ means?”  I told him I did not, and he continued. “The root word for ‘testimony’ means ‘to repeat; to do again,’ or ‘do time again.’ It does not mean only to speak about or give witness of something.” As clearly as I can recall, he continued, saying, “It’s as though time is pregnant with God’s words and power. The eternal God releases the power to do or accomplish something; it enters into time and is forever there. His words are eternal, alive, and powerful (Psalm 119:89; Hebrews 4:12). As we implement His laws and the principles of His Word, we can tap into this power. Declaring what He has done in the past – testifying – is one of the ways we do so. “We believe that when one declares God’s Word or shares what He did in the past – a testimony – the same power is released to ‘do it again’ today. That’s why we believe it’s so important to tell our children what God did in the past, and why God was angry with Israel when they neglected to teach them Israel’s history. For example, we believe that when we tell our children about the exodus – how God delivered Israel from Egypt at Passover through great signs and wonders – the same power is released again. Our children can receive the spiritual fruit of Passover and deliverance. We believe the power of what God did yesterday can be released again and again and again and again.” The Rabbi then spoke of “time” in relation to this. “We do not measure time in a linear fashion as Westerners do, as in a timeline. We see time as cyclical and believe that as it cycles annually, and we reach the time of year when God did something in history, it’s easier to tap into the power again. During the time of Israel’s feasts, for example, we believe it’s easier to tap into the blessings God ‘placed’ in that feast-time.” I was fascinated by this and studied for myself the Hebrew word for testimony, eduwth/eduth . Sure enough, the root word ( ud  or uwd ) means “repeat or do again.” The lexicon said it refers to “the continuance of a past event.” For this reason, the Arabic words for “return” and “habit” (doing something again and again) come from this same root. (1) I also studied the word “remember.” For much of my life, I wondered why the Old Testament said, “God remembered…” My thinking was: He never forgets anything, so how could He remember? And why would He tell us in Isaiah 43:26,   “Put Me in remembrance...” Why would we need to remind God? When I studied the Hebrew word, my lexicon said it didn’t just mean “to recall.” It informed me that in Hebrew, “Remembering is not merely a recalling of the past but is also  a call to action  (italics mine).” (2)  Finally, the concept made sense: Of course God doesn’t need us to help Him by pulling something out of His memory, as though He forgot about it. Putting Him in remembrance is asking Him to act on  what He said in the past, and do it. This Hebrew concept of remembering - recall and do - can be seen in the process of a person building their dream home. For years, they have dreamed, planned, and promised themselves that they would do so; they’ve saved money and waited for the right time. While waiting, he or she hasn’t forgotten about it; the house is always “in the back of their mind.” The timing, however, for various reasons, hasn’t been right. When they realize it is now time, they begin consciously “remembering” the house – not in the sense that they had forgotten about it – but in the doing stage of remembering it… because it is now time to build . They buy land, if they haven’t already done so, have the plans drawn, get the permits, hire the builder, and build the house! THAT…is the biblical concept of “remember”! The Lord “remembered” Hannah, barrenness was broken off her, and she conceived (1 Samuel 1:19). Samson repented; God then said He “remembered” him, and his strength returned (Judges 16:28). God said He “remembered” His promise to Abraham, and the exodus process began (Exodus 2:24). When the right time arrives, and yes, sometimes that timing hinges upon our actions, God “remembers.” Remembering engages His creative mind and releases His great power and ability. In fact, one of the primary Hebrew words for “create” actually comes from the word for “think or imagine.” Individuals, including God, think, dream of, or imagine something ( yetser ), then create it ( yatsar ). (3) Might God have planned or imagined revival for our generation and has now determined it is time? Have we “put Him in remembrance” (Isaiah 43:26)? Is He about to “do something again?” And if so, would this month of Nisan  perhaps be a time He would announce it? I believe this may be occurring. Tomorrow, we will look at the significance of the month Nisan itself ,  and why God may have chosen it.  Pray with me: Forever, oh Lord, Your Word is settled in heaven (Psalm 119:89).  Your words are just as powerful today as they were when You first spoke them. They are alive and powerful (Hebrews 4:12), spirit and life, (John 6:63). They never return void, empty, or fruitless, but always accomplish their assignments (Isaiah 55:11). They are seeds, containing reproductive, multiplicative power (Matthew 13:37; 1 Peter 1:23). Your words produce faith (Romans 10:17), multiply as fruit (Matthew 13:23), and generate victory in battle (I Timothy 1:18; Ephesians 6:17). When we speak them, we are not demanding from You, but honoring You, demonstrating our trust. We testify today of Your faithfulness, and the great works You have done for us. We ask You to do them again. Remember Your promises regarding our nation. Remember Your promises regarding our family members, the prodigals in our lives, the healing of bodies. Remember and take action. Just as You have done before in the month of Nisan, bring forth Your redemptive power. Save, heal, transform, and reform. In Jesus’ name! Amen.  Our decree: We decree that God has remembered us and is releasing His mighty power again. Watch the full video below: R. Laird Harris, Gleason L. Archer, Jr., Bruce K. • A Mighty Wave is Coming

March 31, 2025 We have entered the Hebrew month of Nisan (March 30-April 28 on our calendars). It is known as “The month of miracles.” This was the time in which God delivered Israel from slavery in Egypt, using great miracles. It also is the timeframe in which He said, “I am the Lord your healer”  (Exodus 15:26). I believe God is using this “anniversary” and its significance to launch a new phase of Holy Spirit’s outpouring.  A mighty wave of signs, wonders, and miracles is beginning throughout the earth. It will be unprecedented, not in its level of power, but in its scope and reach. This wave of the supernatural will be part of the greatest awakening earth has ever experienced. Many of the miracles will be captured by technology and seen throughout the world, causing multitudes to realize God is real and Jesus is the Savior, just as it occurred in Scripture. I love what the observers said when Jesus healed a paralyzed man in Mark 2:10-12: “But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house. And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.”  (KJV) The Passion Translation says the people were “awestruck” and said, “We’ve never seen anything like this before.” The margin says the word awestruck  could be translated as “shocked into wonderment” or “out of their minds with amazement.” God is about to blow people’s minds with his wonderful works! These healings will be different than the normal process of a person asking for and “laying hold” of their healing by faith (First Timothy 6:12). This will be a manifestation of the gifts of Holy Spirit spoken of/referenced in 1 Corinthians 12. Those who have very little or even no faith, including unbelievers, can receive miracles through these gifts of the Spirit. Prodigals, Muslims, Hindus, Jews, Christians – people of all faiths and backgrounds will receive miracles, performed in the name of Jesus. Those who are walking in faith, of course, will also receive healings and miracles, as well as those who have none.  Evangelists will begin moving in signs and wonders at a much higher level, as they preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. However, ALL believers can and will participate in this increased level of the supernatural. Our part is not to guarantee healings or hype people’s emotions (and call it faith), and we should resist using miracles to build a following. Our responsibility is simply to obey Christ by asking for healing with motives of serving people and promoting Christ.  The two reasons we are conducting the Healing Summit this upcoming Friday night in Middletown, Ohio, are simple: we want to see people healed, and we want these gifts of the Spirit to be imparted throughout the world. That which is being birthed is both for the individual and to impact the masses. Healings and the impartation of gifts will occur, not because of the leaders conducting the service – the night is not about anyone other than Christ. They will occur because 1) it is time for this worldwide wave to roll, and 2) prayers will be offered and agreed with by millions of people around the world. Prayer releases the will of God. Join us if you can. It is wonderful to be in a room where the power of God is moving, and we will pray personally for all in attendance who desire prayer for healing. (Please register at oasiswired.org/healingsummit ; this helps guarantee all can be accommodated.) Or, of course, you can join us online; thousands will do so. If you are gathering as a congregation to join us online or to conduct your own healing service, which many are doing, feel free to let us know at oasiswired.org , and we will post the location. Plus, it is encouraging to know that others are participating. (You will not be asked for money!)  Those of us involved are sensing a greater weight on this gathering than the previous Summits, although those were powerfully anointed of the Lord, and many people were healed. Please pray with us for the hand of the Lord to move in extraordinary ways Friday night to release miracles, and a season of the miraculous. Not just here in America, but throughout the world.  The Judicial System I would be remiss if I did not ask you to pray once again regarding the Supreme Court election being held tomorrow in Wisconsin. It will have national ramifications ( millionvoices.org/wi  & Newsmax ). Please pray that God moves on the heart of every conservative in the state to get out and vote. Pray that He turns the hearts and minds of those still undecided as to who they will vote for. Ask God for favor and grace to be given us in this election. And let’s continue to pray regarding the Judges trying to interfere with President Trump and his team. Pray that conservatives in Congress take action and stop this through legislation, and that the Supreme Court rules against these judges when the case comes before them. We knew the left would not lay down and give up in their efforts to maintain control over America. And we must not relinquish our efforts to pray against their actions and plans.  Pray for DOGE and its efforts to find, expose, and stop the waste and fraud taking place in America. What they are discovering is abominable. Pray that God continues to expose the abuses and reform our nation. And lastly, pray for the revival that has begun on college campuses. Ask God to stoke the flames, causing them to burn with intensity and strength. Continue to cry out for millions of young people to be saved in America and around the world. Jesus loves every one of them and is coming with revival to rescue their generation. Pray with me: Father, we pray today that You would do through us what You did through the early church and many others down through the ages: stretch forth Your hand to heal. Release great grace, great power, and great miracles (Acts 4:33, 6:8). We are told that the miracles released in Acts gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus (Acts 4:33). Do this once again, just as You have many times in the past. Just as Peter discerned that it was time for the great miracle at Gate Beautiful in Acts 3, we are discerning that it is time for an upsurge in miracles. At least 5000 people were saved that day; we ask for miracles in our generation that produce many times this number of conversions. We ask for healings and miracles to take place this Friday night, in Ohio and around the world. And we ask for the gifts of Your Spirit that produce miracles to be released throughout the world. We ask this for the glory of Christ and the cause of the great harvest. We also pray regarding the elections tomorrow in Wisconsin. Move upon the hearts of conservative values voters. Motivate them to get out and vote. Move on the hearts and minds of those still considering for whom they will vote. Turn them Your direction. Protect the vote. And we pray for our President, our Congress, and our judicial system. Move upon those in Congress to enact legislation that will keep unelected district judges from ruling our nation. Move upon the Supreme Court to make decisions that align with our Constitution and with You.  And now Lord, as this mighty company of believers agrees in prayer for these things, doing so in the name of Jesus, we thank You in advance for Your answers. Amen.  Our decree: We decree that “the month of miracles” will birth a mighty wave of the supernatural throughout the earth. Click on the link below to watch the full video.

INTRODUCTION Since I recorded today’s post on Friday before leaving for the Healing Summit, I am not able to give a report. I will do so over the coming days.  Today, I’m excited to be reading a portion from Ché Ahn’s new book, entitled Blueprints for Transformation: Bringing Revival and Reformation to the Nations . At the beginning of this year, I stated that we were moving into revival and reformation and that I would share a good bit on these subjects throughout the year. The timing of this book’s release could not be more appropriate. In the foreword, I call this book a “masterpiece,” and it truly is. I concluded the foreword by saying, “The greatest expansion of God’s Kingdom on earth has begun. Blueprints for Transformation is one of its textbooks! Without a doubt, this is one of the most important books of our time.” The title of today’s excerpt is: FROM REVIVAL TO REFORMATION   In the mid-1990s, our church, Harvest Rock Church in Pasadena, CA, entered an unprecedented season of God’s glory being manifested in our midst. For six months straight, children in our church, including my daughters, regularly saw angels during our meetings. It was as if heaven had descended on us. Extraordinary healings took place. People smelled the fragrance of heaven, and there were many other manifestations of God’s glory. I loved each and every testimony that we witnessed. Through these experiences, I reached this conclusion: This is what God’s glory is—heaven coming to earth! The Prayer of Reformation: Heaven on Earth After those supernatural encounters, I felt led by the Holy Spirit to study the biblical theme of heaven on earth. In that season, I discovered an extremely important truth that had been in the Disciple’s Prayer (commonly called “the Lord’s Prayer”) all along. In Matthew 6:10, Jesus instructs His disciples to decree these words in prayer: “Your kingdom come. Your will be done,  on earth as it is in heaven . ” This is a revival prayer! For the past 2,000 years, the church has been praying for the kingdom of heaven—the rule and reign of God—to be established and manifested on earth. In essence, we have been praying for Revival with a capital “R.” But this is also a prayer for reformation. And it’s not only for us individually or for our families; it’s a prayer for our nations. The more I delved into the reality of seeing heaven on earth, the verse that really gripped me was Psalm 89:14 (NKJV), where the psalmist declares, “Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; mercy and truth go before Your face.” In praying the Disciple’s Prayer and meditating on Psalm 89:14, I learned that we are actually praying for God’s  righteousness, God’s  justice, God’s  love, and God’s  truth to invade our lives and permeate society. “Heaven on earth” is asking God to invade the earth. Yes, with supernatural salvations, healings, and deliverance—the revival component of His kingdom—but also with His attributes of righteousness, justice, love, and truth, which bring reformation to earth as it is in heaven. For that  is what heaven looks like.  Revival and Reformation: A Third Great Awakening Since the events of 2020, I have been sharing that we are living in an extraordinary time of global shaking and greater glory. From the onset of the COVID-19 lockdowns to skyrocketing inflation, the extreme progressive Left agenda, and escalating global conflicts everywhere we look, all the nations of the globe have gone through an unprecedented time of shaking. The following ancient biblical prophecy is being fulfilled right before our eyes: “‘I will shake all the nations; and they will come with the wealth of all nations, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘The silver is Mine and the gold is Mine,’ declares the Lord of hosts. ‘The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts, ‘and in this place I will give peace,’ declares the Lord of hosts.”  (Haggai 2:7–9, NASB1995) God is using the darkness we are witnessing today as a backdrop for the great light of revival and reformation to break out. In my 50-plus years of walking with Jesus, I have never seen such a stark contrast between the darkness covering the nations and the greater glory of God being revealed, as Isaiah had prophesied centuries ago. “Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. For behold, darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness the peoples; but the LORD will rise upon you and His glory will appear upon you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.” (Isaiah 60:1–3, NASB1995) I believe with all my heart that we are entering into a Third Great Awakening, which will encompass both the darkness getting darker and the light getting brighter. I define a Great Awakening as a national revival and reformation of society. In this case, the revival and reformation will spread throughout the world to other nations. In 2024, I had the privilege of speaking at two campuses of Gereja Bethel Indonesia (GBI). Under the able leadership of Senior Pastor Niko Njotorahardjo, GBI has 1,200 campuses and a combined membership of 300,000. While numbers alone don’t signify revival, this is a body of Spirit-filled, on-fire believers who are making a difference in their society. Indonesia is now 35 percent born-again believers.(1) To put that in context, despite being the world’s largest Muslim nation, Indonesia has some of the world’s largest churches! The move of the Holy Spirit is truly turning the tide in this island nation. Other places experiencing genuine revival range from Brazil and Latin America to Nigeria, India, China, and the underground church throughout the Middle East. My friends Rolland and Heidi Baker are transforming Mozambique, another Muslim nation, through Iris Ministries. The World Christian Database (WCD), one of the most authoritative sources on religious statistics, offers invaluable reference materials on all parts of the world. Its figures on China are particularly startling. According to the WCD, the country’s Christian population exploded from under 1 million in 1970 to around 120 million today. That’s over 9 percent of the country’s entire population, and the number of believers is expected to grow to 220 million by 2050. (2) If these numbers are even close to accurate, it would make the story of Chinese Christianity probably the greatest harvest in church history—and that is just one nation. Tens of thousands of souls are being born again every day, primarily in the Global South. God is on the move like never before! Pray with me: Father, as we move into worldwide revival and reformation, we decree again as You instructed us: Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. As Ché informs us, this is a prayer, not only for revival but for reformation. We also pray Psalm 89:14, asking for Your righteousness, justice, love, and truth to invade our lives, nation, and the nations of the world. We know the earth is ripe for this outpouring. You have and will continue to shake the nations in order to create further readiness for this great revival and reformation. You said You would fill the earth with Your glory, and we ask for this now. We declare Isaiah 60:1-3, that Your light has come and Your glory is rising upon us. Nations will come to this light, and kings to its brightness. Continue to pour out Your Spirit in Indonesia, Brazil, Iran, China and elsewhere. But we also ask for a great expansion into other nations of the earth.  And we ask for the preparation in the church to continue, as Ché’s book so powerfully addresses. We ask this in Christ’s name, amen. Our decree: We decree that we will move with Holy Spirit into earth’s greatest revival and reformation.  Today’s post was contributed by Ché Ahn and is taken from his new book Blueprints for Transformation , published by Servant Leader Publishing.
