Introduction Before I begin today’s post, I’d like to briefly comment on the meetings in D.C. this past Sunday and Monday regarding the Supreme Court. First, thank you to JAGF (Judicial Action Group Foundation) for the invitation to participate. I consider you to be one of the reasons the Supreme Court has changed over the last decade. Secondly, the meetings were outstanding, blessed with a very weighty presence of the Lord. Many thanks to those who attended, and thanks to those of you who prayed for this significant gathering. Convergence and Boomerangs America’s turnaround began years ago. God is way ahead of the times, seeing and declaring the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10). He is the only one who doesn’t start at the beginning. God starts at the end, backs up to the beginning, and implements His plan. This means He is never caught by surprise or off guard. It also means He knows how He will solve problems…before they even manifest! Yahweh is not taken aback or knocked off course by the failures of people and nations, knowing they would occur beforehand. When He calls a person - or a nation - to a purpose, God realizes He will have to navigate through their mess-ups, just as He did with Abraham and the nation of Israel. According to Hebrews 11:3, God has already decreed the aligning and realigning of the ages; a more literal translation of this verse is: “Through faith, we understand that the ages were put in proper alignment by the word [declarations] of God…” Before Adam even fell, Jesus was the Lamb, slain from the foundation of the world (Revelation 13:8). That means the Incarnation, the Cross, and Christ’s Resurrection were planned before Adam’s fall ever occurred. I share this to assure you that God has a plan for America’s turnaround. He knew the failures and sins our nation would commit before they occurred, had a plan for our recovery, and declared our eventual turnaround. Satan’s reactionary plans and schemes are no match for God’s omniscience and foreknowledge. This foreknowledge also means God is moving on many fronts to accomplish His plan. While He is implementing His pre-planned works in America, He is doing so in other nations, in the church, and in individuals, preparing them for His plan. When all is ready, He shifts everything into a phase of convergence: ripe harvest fields; nations positioned; the church equipped; angels assigned. This is all seen in the book of Esther. The Jews’ very existence was threatened when wicked Haman, one of King Ahasuerus’ trusted officials, manipulated the king into issuing a decree for the annihilation of the Jews. After learning of Haman’s decree, Esther, a Jewish woman chosen by Persian King Ahasuerus as his queen, exposed Haman’s plan. At the risk of her life, she broke strict protocol to appeal to the king in a courageous attempt to protect her people. The king granted Esther’s request and, instead of the Jews, Haman was executed. The day after Haman’s decree was reversed, the Feast of Purim was inaugurated. The Hebrew word for turnaround is haphak: “to overturn, overthrow, turnaround, transform, be reversed.”(1) The following two verses from Esther 9 include this word: “…when the king’s command and edict were about to be executed, on the day when the enemies of the Jews hoped to gain the mastery over them, it was turned to the contrary so that the Jews themselves gained the mastery over those who hated them.” (v. 1) “Because on those days the Jews rid themselves of their enemies, and it was a month which was turned for them from sorrow into gladness and from mourning into a holiday; that they should make them days of feasting and rejoicing....” (v. 22) The Hebrew word haphak appears not only in the book of Esther, but throughout Scripture. Deuteronomy 23:5 uses the word to describe God turning a curse against the Jewish people into a blessing. Jeremiah 31:13 and Isaiah 61:3 use the word to describe turning mourning into joy. The Message translation of Esther 9:25 uses an interesting analogy to describe the turnaround: “But when Queen Esther intervened with the king, he gave written orders that the evil scheme that Haman had worked out should boomerang back on his own head.” God had planned ahead. Before Haman ever conceived his evil plan to destroy the Jews, God positioned people and events for His planned boomerang. The book of Esther is an easy and interesting read - check it out. You will find that God orchestrated events, timing, the choosing of a queen, sleep patterns, favor to individuals, the uncovering of evil plans, rescues, and more. The end result was the saving of the nation and the furthering of God’s plans on earth. I believe Holy Spirit is doing for America what He did in Esther’s day: moving us into convergence and a time of divine reversals! The enemy is being exposed, overthrown, and his plans are boomeranging back on his own head! This season’s turnaround will occur for individuals, families, regions, and nations. Unrest will certainly continue, and Scripture assures us that evil will, as well. But great harvest will also occur, and areas of unrest will give way to righteousness—even in the darkest regions. Awakening and revivals will break out in places where they have never existed. Partner with Him in releasing these supernatural boomerangs into the earth - you were born for such a time as this. Pray with me: Father, we exalt You as Lord, not only of the nations, but also as Lord over time. You declare the end from the beginning, change the times and seasons, and orchestrate events to align with Your purposes. We confidently declare that You are greater than the forces of evil on earth. Your wisdom is higher, and Your abilities are without measure. You have decreed the turnaround of America and how it will occur, and You have decreed a great outpouring of Your Spirit in our day. Just as You turned around Haman’s attempt to destroy the Jewish nation, You will turn around satan’s attempt to destroy Your purposes in our day, as well. We accept the Esther decree: we were born for such a time as this. Help us now to rise to our calling and assignment, partnering with You and Your great plan. We proclaim breakthrough to Your people, breakthrough in our nation, and breakthrough throughout the earth. Give us a turnaround in our government, education, and media. Release a deluge of Holy Spirit’s rain to flood over our land and other harvest fields of the earth. Please give victory in the coming midterms to those who most align with You and Your plans for America. Motivate believers to vote, and to do so according to biblical principles. Help us, we pray! And we ask for this confidently, in Christ’s name, amen. Our decree: We decree that satan’s plans will boomerang on him, and God’s plans will succeed. Click on the link below to watch the full video. Give It All You’ve Got At the end of the weighty word in Tim’s GH15 post yesterday, I mentioned Queen Esther in the prayer. Esther was an orphaned Jew living in pagan-ruled Persia, whom God miraculously made queen. This special lady was used by God to save the Jews from annihilation by wicked Haman. I quoted from Esther 4:14, where Mordecai challenged Esther with the question: “Who knows whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” God had indeed placed Esther in her position for this significant time. She rose to the challenge and, at the risk of her life, saved her people. In the prayer, I prayed that the same urgency Esther felt would come on the Ekklesia at this time. In the post, Tim shared a dream in which the Lord deployed His spiritual army. In a speech to inspire the Ekklesia, a general told the soldiers to remember their training, follow orders, fight for and care for one another. Then he said, “The enemy has crossed a red line that endangers our cause, the world order, and if not stopped, will affect our very way of life.” The General then raised his voice and said: “Fight for your children. Fight for your families. Fight for your heritage. And fight for your freedoms.” Then, with even greater urgency, he said, “Give it all you’ve got.” As I read the dream, the words pierced my heart like a knife. If you haven’t read or watched the post, please do so. Afterward, while pondering and praying about this word, the well-known phrase Mordecai spoke to Esther - “for such a time as this” - began weighing on me. The phrase carries weight, regardless of context, identifying a season as momentous, consequential, or weighty. These types of epochal times don’t roll around often. They’re the D-Days, the 9/11’s, the “now or never” times of history. Have we come to one? I believe so. The same evil spirits that motivated Haman to destroy Israel in Esther’s day provoke radical, demonized Islamists in Iran and elsewhere today, desiring to destroy Israel, America, and Christians everywhere. I have no doubt that had Iran been allowed to possess a nuclear weapon, they would have used it. Communist regimes in China, Russia, North Korea, and elsewhere are bent on ruling the world and have no issue with killing millions of people in order to do so. History proves their willingness. And even more weighty than these scenarios are the spiritual conditions of millions of people around the world. And satan is warring to stop the coming harvest. Millions of eternal souls hang in the balance. And the Lord determined that we would be alive today “for such a time as this.” I find myself deeply moved by the fact that God chose this time for me to be alive. We should all be. I once heard the late, great Myles Monroe say, when teaching on destiny and the fact that God does nothing by chance: “The very fact that you are alive today means you have something the world needs.”(1) I believe this. God placed us in this time (Daniel 2:21; Acts 17:26). Finding and fulfilling the “why” should be our highest priority. And please don’t wrongly assume that your “why” has to be something as visible as preaching to millions. He may need you to “preach” to millions on your knees! I firmly believe the intercessor is as important as the evangelist. Whatever the reason, your purpose is important to Him. His intentions for our time will require an army of committed spiritual warriors. Your prayers matter; your prayer group matters; your congregation matters; your “yes” is vital to the cause. It wasn’t one of the 12 apostles that carried Christ’s Cross, the instrument He used to save the world. Just a humble “passerby” named Simon (Mark 17:21). Whatever your assignment may be - giving, going, preaching, praying - “give it all you’ve got”! When thinking of those with seemingly insignificant assignments, I often think of Susanna Wesley. Amid her challenging circumstances and humble life, no one who knew her could have imagined that she, through two of her children, would change the world. “Susanna was born in 1669, the last of twenty-five children. After marrying, Susanna gave birth to nineteen children, nine of whom died in infancy. Her life was turbulent, frequently unhappy, and filled with trials. Her husband, Samuel, was often gone from home, leaving her alone and almost penniless to care for her family. Unable to properly manage on his small salary, he was put in debtor’s prison for a time. “At one point, their home burned to the ground. Susanna suffered from many illnesses and was often bedridden, requiring household help. Some of her children were so errant that they caused her considerable grief. “But Susanna was an intercessor, and prayed faithfully for her family. It was said of her that in her small home, with ten children all around playing, reading, or studying, Susanna would pull her apron over her head and pray for an hour or two at a time. Her children knew not to disturb mom when she was in the “secret place” behind her apron. God heard all those prayers, and her sons John and Charles became two of the greatest evangelists of all time; their ministries shook the world.”(2)(3) God’s purpose for Susanna Wesley was to prayerfully raise children who would change the world. All of us matter to Him. Please believe that. And in this incredible hour we live in, “give it all you’ve got.” I’m sure you’ve heard of Charles Finney, one of history’s greatest evangelists. His incredible ministry was used to save entire cities and helped shape the Second Great Awakening. I would guess, however, that few of you have heard of Daniel Nash. Often called “Father Nash,” he served as Finney’s primary personal intercessor. He and his prayer partner, Abel Clary, traveled to towns days or weeks ahead of Finney’s arrival in order to pray for the upcoming services. They engaged in intense, hidden prayer, often fasting for days, in damp cellars or nearby rented rooms. This continued when the meetings began. Finney credited much of the amazing conviction, historical revivals, and thousands of conversions during the Second Great Awakening to their unseen labor.(4) Whatever your role in the Kingdom may be, “give it all you’ve got.” Pray with me: Father, we are stirred by the dream in which You urged us to “give it all you’ve got.” Your passion bursts forth in this statement. It is sobering to realize that we have indeed been placed on earth “for such a time as this.” May the Ekklesia realize the urgency of this hour. As is sometimes said in sports, may we be able to say, when our lives are over, “we left it all on the field.” We want to give You our all. Give us big hearts and small egos. Let the heart of our humble Savior be imparted to us, He who left His throne to suffer and serve sinful humanity. Our greatest joy will be to one day lay our crowns at His feet. And at this strategic point in time, we pledge ourselves to the spiritual warfare You have called us to. We will fight spiritually for our families, freedoms, heritage, and the great harvest that is now ripe. We exercise our authority and bind every attempt to stop it - here in America, in Asia, the Middle East, and throughout the world (Matthew 16:18-19). We demolish strongholds that have been built by demonic forces to keep people blinded to the gospel (2 Corinthians 10:3-5). We declare that the veil of spiritual darkness over millions is lifting (2 Corinthians 4:3-6). We pray and decree all of this in the glorious name of Yeshua. Amen. Introduction Today’s post is a powerful word from my brother, Tim Sheets. His title is: The Battle Cry There are moments in God’s timeline when what has been prayed, declared, prophesied, and contended for begins converging with its appointed time. I believe we are in one of those moments. Holy Spirit is awakening the church to recognize what He is doing and rise to the moment with faith, boldness, and spiritual authority. In recent months, I have felt an unusual and intense stirring within me. Holy Spirit was alerting me to pay attention, pray deeper, listen more carefully, and see beyond what was happening naturally into what He was doing in the spirit realm. So I began praying about what I was sensing, asking Him to show me what He was preparing me to understand. As I listened, Holy Spirit spoke a word that brought clarity to the stirring I had been sensing: “The cup of iniquity has been declared full, and the King has decreed to drain it. Sever iniquitous roots in government, culture, and wicked ideologies that are resisting our plans of global revival. Engage My Ekklesia. Prepare her for spiritual battle with hell’s kingdom, warfare that will shift natural realms for reformation and great revival.” Then I heard something in my spirit that I had never heard before, the sound of a vast host of angel warriors responding to the King’s decree with a resounding shout: “Let it be done! Let it be done now!” I knew with unmistakable clarity that great hosts of angels were part of this divine plan. I also knew they were eager to engage - ready warriors, positioned and prepared to carry out their assignment. Holy Spirit continued speaking, “I will now baptize the Ekklesia and committed remnant with great boldness. I will anoint them with a warrior’s mindset, a warrior’s mentality. I will anoint them with aggressive warrior dispositions. I’m preparing and anointing the King’s Ekklesia to battle for your nation, and for global world revival. I am preparing My ruling and reigning ones to engage systemic evil, with the assistance of angel armies, and prevail as defined by King Jesus. A binding-and-loosing campaign will begin. Doors will be opened. Doors will be closed. The preparations have been made, and the call of heaven is sounding forth: ‘It is time! It is time! It is time!’ The angels are in place. It is time. Portals are open. It is time. As Joshua heard and declared to 40-year wilderness wanderers, so hear and declare into your times, raising expectations, desire, and passionate commitment. Declare, ‘we have compassed the mountain long enough’. Sanctify yourself and possess the land. “Move forward into promised inheritance. It is time for giants and strongholds to fall. It is time for entrenched enemies to be removed. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you. It is time! It is time! It is time!” This was a clear declaration that a prepared people are being brought into an appointed moment. Three times I heard Holy Spirit say that He is preparing and anointing the true Church and the righteous remnant to confront the dark agendas that have resisted His purposes. He also said: “We will prevail.” His use of the word “we” stood out to me. Heaven is moving, angelic hosts are being positioned, and the Ekklesia is being called to respond in faith, obedience, prayer, and spiritual authority. I believe this campaign is now being activated, specifically before the midterm elections. It will continue into what I believe will be a magnificent era of Holy Spirit activity and greater glory. We are living in a defining moment, and defining moments are shaped and controlled by who defines them. King Jesus expects His Church to rise and bring biblical definition to a world filled with confusion and competing voices. This will require our voices, prayers, time, energy, resources, engagement, and our votes. Voting is one very important way we participate in our nation’s governing process, exercising our civic responsibility. For believers who understand influence as part of their stewardship, the ballot box becomes a place where convictions are expressed, and choices are made. Holy Spirit has been preparing a different kind of Ekklesia for this hour, building faith, courage, discernment, endurance, and spiritual authority. The prayers and anointings of generations past are converging with what He is releasing now, creating a generational synergy for this hinge moment. I believe we are seeing a people rise who will stand with courage, engage with wisdom, and advance into the greater glory He has promised under the leadership of King Jesus. Then I received a dream that confirmed what I had been sensing and hearing: I was a soldier, and a declaration of war had been issued. All branches of the military were activating, and I was one of thousands of soldiers being deployed. Everything was chaotic. I could feel the concern and worry of those around me, who were also being deployed. They were on their phones calling their loved ones and friends. The seriousness of the moment was unmistakable. It was almost as though I was an observer, watching everything unfold around me. Then my phone began to ding, and I started receiving text messages from Dutch and other ministry friends, all asking me the same question: “Are you being deployed?” Of course, I answered yes. Their responses were all the same: “So am I. I’m being deployed.” Then the scene in the dream changed. I was standing on a parade ground in a long line of soldiers. There were many more of these lines. As we stood there, a general came out onto a platform, and began a pre-battle speech to inspire courage. He challenged us to remember our training, follow our orders, fight for and care for one another. Then he said: “The enemy has crossed a red line that endangers the world order and, if not stopped, will affect our very way of life.” Then the general raised his voice: “Fight for your children. Fight for your family. Fight for your heritage. Fight for your freedoms.” I have said similar things many times, as have others. I wasn’t hearing anything new. Yet somehow, it seemed new. It seemed more real. The way this general said it carried such urgency that it gripped me. He finished by saying: “Give it all you’ve got!” I knew Holy Spirit was giving me a very clear message, and the weight of it was profound. I felt the responsibility of answering a kingdom assignment settle heavily upon me: The enemy has crossed a red line, and heaven has declared spiritual war against what is resisting the purposes of God. Follow your training. Follow your orders. Give it all you’ve got. As I pondered the dream, I kept hearing the general’s words as a battle cry. Then I asked the Lord, Is Holy Spirit issuing a battle cry? As I prayed, I knew the answer was yes. I heard a battle cry, and I was being called to agree with it, align myself with heaven, and add my voice to the cry. Throughout history, great conflicts have often been preceded by a call that awakened courage and summoned warriors to their assignment. Ours is being issued. Heaven is sounding the call, the warriors are being awakened, and the Ekklesia is being summoned to its assignment. Pray with me: Father, we, like Esther, have surely come into the Kingdom for such a time as this (Esther 4:14)! Cause this reality to settle on Your Ekklesia with the same weight felt by this matriarch. Release a sober-mindedness, a laser-like focus, and a steadfast resolve. May we feel the intensity of our General, King Jesus, as He says, “Give it all you’ve got." Father, we will say yes to Your call! You have prepared Your Ekklesia, giving them boldness, courage, and fresh anointing. Let the battle cry of Heaven now rise within them in every nation. Strengthen them to stand, speak, pray, and advance wherever You send them. We present ourselves for Your assignment. Fill us with Your passion and give us grace to stand firm. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen. Our decree: The warriors of the Ekklesia are rising! We hear the King’s battle cry, and will advance in authority, declaring that His Kingdom will prevail! Introduction I asked my good friend Ken Malone to write today’s post, and what an important word it is. I was convicted as I read it; you may be, as well. Ken’s title is: The Power of Giving Thanks Each morning at the office, my staff and I pray together. We pray for our nation, President Trump, the United States Congress, and the Supreme Court. At times, the Lord leads us to pray specifically for individual justices or members of Congress. We pray for Governor Ron DeSantis and his family, the Florida Legislature, and, at times, the Florida Supreme Court. We regularly pray for our church, for the lost, and for prodigals to come home. We cry out for awakening and revival in Florida. As Holy Spirit leads, we also pray for specific cities throughout our state and for pastors with whom we have a relationship. Over the years, we’ve learned to release the governmental authority of Christ, functioning as His Ekklesia (Matthew 16:18-19). There are times when rather than simply asking God for something, we make decrees based on what He has revealed in His Word and by His Spirit. Job 22:28 says: “You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you.” The Hebrew word translated as “thing” is omer—a word, utterance, promise, decree, or command.(1) When we know what God has said, we can come into agreement, declare His promises, and align our prayers with what Heaven has spoken. Obviously, we also bring our needs and the desires of our hearts before the Father. Something Was Different Today’s prayer time went in an unusual direction, however. As I opened my mouth to pray, something different gushed from my heart. Almost immediately, I sensed the pleasure of the Lord upon it. What was it? Thanksgiving. My prayer began by simply thanking Yahweh for our relationship with Him. “Father, I thank You that we have a relationship with You. You are the desire of our hearts. Lord, I want to know You—to know You in the power of Your resurrection and the fellowship of Your suffering.” As I prayed, thanksgiving continued to swell within my heart. I wasn’t asking Him for anything. I wasn’t focused on what we needed. I wasn’t decreeing. This moment was about Him. I began thanking Him for who He is, for our relationship with Him, for what He is doing in me, for what He is doing in Florida, and for what He is doing in America. There was something refreshing about simply saying: “Father, thank You. I began thanking Him concerning the governmental leaders who will serve following the November elections. I thanked Him for Florida’s government, America’s Congress, the Speaker of the House, and our President. Instead of filling my prayer with requests, I found myself filling it with thanksgiving. And I was genuinely grateful. What About the Supreme Court? As I write this, I am convicted about something else. I’ve prayed many prayers concerning the United States Supreme Court. Some of those prayers have probably sounded more like complaints. But how often have I simply stopped and thanked Yahweh for what He is doing on the Court? So I want to do that now Lord, I give You thanksgiving for working in the nine justices serving on the United States Supreme Court: Chief Justice John Roberts and Associate Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan, Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, Amy Coney Barrett, and Ketanji Brown Jackson. Father, I thank You for encountering each one of them. I pray that Your wisdom would guide their hearts and decisions. May Your purposes be accomplished in our nation. Thank You, Father. Have We Made Prayer Too Much About Us? How many times have we missed something in prayer because we made the entire prayer about ourselves? “Lord, I need this.” “Lord, give me that.” “Lord, change this.” I know I’ve done it. Jesus taught us to pray in Matthew 6:10: “Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” What if we sometimes prayed that from a posture of thanksgiving? “Father, I thank You that Your Kingdom is coming and Your will is being done in the lives of my children.” “Father, I thank You that Your Kingdom is coming and Your will is being done in Washington, D.C.” “Father, thank You for Your work in America.” Enter His Gates With Thanksgiving Praying with thanksgiving does not mean we stop asking. It does not mean we stop decreeing. There is a biblical place for asking, intercession, supplication, declaration, and decree. But there must also be a prominent place in our prayer life for THANKSGIVING. This changes the posture of our hearts. Psalm 100 says: “Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing. Know that the Lord, He is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations.” First Thessalonians 5:18 tells us: “In everything give thanks…” Thanksgiving and praise turn our attention from ourselves to the goodness, faithfulness, and greatness of our Father. Remember to Thank Him As we walk through this election season in America, let’s pray, ask, intercede, and decree according to God’s Word. But let’s also not forget to thank Him. Pray with me: Father, we thank You for what You have done in our lives. Thank You that we can know You personally and walk in relationship with You. Thank You for working in our families. Thank You for our nation and for those entrusted with positions of governmental responsibility. We pray for President Trump, his family, his administration, Congress, the Supreme Court, our governors, state legislatures, and all those who serve in authority. And thank You for what You are doing in America. Teach us to not only ask You for what we need, but to recognize what You have already done. Teach us to enter Your gates with thanksgiving and Your courts with praise. May thanksgiving become more than something we do occasionally. Let thanksgiving become the posture of our hearts. We pray all of this in Yeshua’s name. Amen. Today’s post is another word that, in many ways, can be attributed to your faithfulness. The title is: A Deluge Is Coming In recent weeks, the Lord has been emphasizing His “river of living water” (John 7:37–38; Revelation 22:1–2; Ezekiel 47). My brother, Tim, has said a good bit about it, even doing a conference on the theme. Gene Bailey of Flashpoint is having a gathering called River at the Ranch this month, and I’ve released a few posts on the subject from myself and others, including yesterday’s by Larry Sparks. This past Tuesday, I was reminded of an interesting dream I received about “the river” some time ago. This fascinating dream was given to my friend, Kenny Price. Here is his account: “You, Ken Malone, and Greg Hood were holding a meeting. Before it started, Ken and Greg stated that it was time for you to ‘feed the river.’ So the three of you, joined by Ceci, walked down to the river. You and Ceci walked a short distance away from them to sit together by the river. You were just relaxing, and Ceci rested her head on your shoulder, enjoying the river. Your appearance made it seem as though it was the best day ever. “After a while, Ken and Greg approached you and repeated that it was time to ‘feed the river.’ They brought you buckets to do so. I couldn’t see what was in them. You stepped into the water and began walking through the river; every once in a while you dropped a bucket into the water, then kept walking. You dropped what seemed to be an endless supply of buckets into the river. “Along your walk, you would pass areas where camps had been set up, and people from them were on the banks fishing. When you walked by dropping the buckets, they would shout, ‘Thanks, Dutch, for feeding the river. We are going to catch some big ones.’ “When you released the last of the buckets, you stepped out of the water and joined Ceci, Ken, and Greg. As you were walking back, you said, “Now we can start the meeting.” End of dream. My Thoughts It struck me as significant that in the dream, God chose not to show us what was in the buckets, what I was “feeding the river.” When Holy Spirit gives us only portions of a revelation or insight, while withholding others, He is doing so for a reason. He wants us to seek Him for further insight, knowing that revelation received in this way often impacts us more powerfully than had He just stated it. Jeremiah said, “Thy words were found, and I DID EAT THEM; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts,” (Jeremiah 15:16). Jeremiah “ate” and “digested” the word of the Lord. As he did, the words went from his mind into his innermost being. This is the process through which revelation increases in our hearts. I “ate and digested” this dream back when it was given to me. Then, on Tuesday of this week, when Kenny reminded me of it, I began doing so again, asking Holy Spirit for further insight. Here is what I believe He showed me. First, it seems obvious, based on the words of the people fishing along the riverbank, that whatever was being placed in the river related to the great spiritual harvest on the horizon. They said, “Thanks for feeding the river. We are going to catch some big ones.” Then, as I prayed and pondered further what “feeding the river” might relate to, I believe Holy Spirit reminded me of a word He released to my brother Tim recently (September 17, 2026). In the word, Tim used the phrase “atmospheric rivers,” a phrase meteorologists sometimes use to describe massive amounts of water in the atmosphere. These “rivers” carry so much rain that they can literally flood entire regions. Tim said the Lord told him a move of Holy Spirit is coming from heaven, a spiritual “atmospheric river,” that will be greater than any in history. Holy Spirit then prophesied through Tim: “You will now advance into the most supernatural movement I have ever led. I am anointing afresh, blending and synergizing the purposes, plans, and gifts birthed in all My previous movements. They will intersect with Godhead plans now activating in the great reformation. “They will merge and function with the new purposes, plans, and ministries for this supernatural Kingdom era. In the heavenly realm, atmospheric spiritual rivers have been forming. Rains from Heaven will now fall, causing torrential flows throughout the earth realm. It is the era when the river of God begins its flood stage.” As I reread Tim’s words, I knew what the Lord meant by “ feeding the river.” When we declare God’s words into the spiritual realm, the spiritual “atmosphere,” His words function like seeds. In the parable of the sower (Matthew 13, Mark 4, Luke 8), and also in 1 Peter 1:23, God actually refers to His words as “seeds.” The Greek word used in these passages is also the word for spores and sperm. The idea conveyed is obviously that of reproduction, the ability to reproduce and multiply. God is telling us His words create, bringing forth “after their kind,” just as Genesis states of natural seeds (Genesis 1:11-12). Seeds of the gospel reproduce salvation. Seeds of healing reproduce healing. Seeds of hope reproduce hope. And seeds of awakening reproduce awakening. I have said many times and in many ways over the years – although, sadly, some people seem to have difficulty grasping it – that speaking God’s words releases God’s life and power! When explaining to Mary how she would conceive the Messiah, Holy Spirit literally said to her: “No word spoken by God is without power” (Luke 1:37). Nothing is as powerful as SPEAKING God’s words over our lives, situations, health, and locations. Nothing! When we do, we are releasing God’s power to “seed and feed” our lives, cities, and nations with His life. As we persevere, we nurture these “seeds” into fullness. As we have declared God’s words over our nation and the nations these past few years, we have been feeding the atmospheric river of the Spirit. This has been preparing the greatest harvest in history. Now, “we can start the meeting,” as the dream said at its conclusion. I believe this refers to evangelism meetings, harvesting the spiritual “fish.” Just as I finished writing this post, I received a text from my friend, John Kilpatrick, asking to talk for a few minutes. John led the great Brownsville Revival from 1995 to 2000 in Pensacola, FL, joined by evangelist Steve Hill and worship leader Lindell Cooley. In this great 5-year outpouring of the Holy Spirit, 4.5 million people attended from around the world. John said they stopped counting the salvations after 2 years because so many people flooded the altars that it was simply impossible to get an accurate count. It is safe to say that hundreds of thousands came to Christ! Call me “super-spiritual,” but I am just prophetically motivated enough to believe John’s call was a sign to me that it is indeed time for this next great spiritual harvest to begin. Pray with me: Father, millions of believers have been seeding the atmosphere with Your words over the last several years. We know Your words are “spirit and life” (John 6:63), “alive and powerful” (Hebrews 4:12), and NEVER without power (Luke 1:37). You told us they have created a spiritual “atmospheric river” that will release great rains of revival throughout the Earth. We believe this and are preparing our hearts to receive it. Our decree: We “seed” and “feed the river” again today, declaring: “America shall be saved! This has begun on campuses among young people, and will multiply greatly. Revival and reformation have begun and will not be stopped.” “Revival is coming to Iran and the Middle East. The billion soul harvest is beginning.” “Signs and wonders will increase dramatically, giving witness to the resurrection of Jesus, just as was stated in Acts 4:33. This will include creative, ‘extraordinary’ miracles and deliverances (Acts 19:11).” “Nations will be born again in a day (Isaiah 66:7-9). The River Is Flowing in California Introduction Today’s post was written by our friend, Larry Sparks. It is an encouraging report about what is beginning on the West Coast. I’ve been watching a prophecy from 1994 coming to pass before my very eyes… in the Pacific Northwest and California. This prophetic decree was released in the form of a song written by Martin Smith: “We can see that God, You’re moving… a mighty river through the nations.”(1) We are now seeing what we’ve been singing for over 30 years. Time is catching up with the decree. Since the Glory River conference hosted by Tim Sheets earlier this year, and by the sovereign leading of the Holy Spirit, I have repeatedly visited and ministered in California, Oregon, and Washington state. This is significant because of the prophetic word released over that territory: A Niagara Falls of glory moving through Oregon that would “wash Washington” and break open California for a landscape-changing move of God. This is a report of encouragement. Every single time I have traveled to the West Coast, I have watched people experience different expressions of God’s Glory River. And it’s increasing. How We Partner With a Prophetic Word I take this Glory River West word seriously, and I believe we have a role to play when it comes to seeing prophetic words come to pass. God is in charge of the fulfillment, but He invites us into the process. His sovereignty is not intimidated by our participation. Two quick pointers for partnering with prophetic words: First, when we receive prophetic words (like Glory River West), we must not receive them as spiritual entertainment; we should pray and ask, “Lord, how do I partner with You in seeing this word come to pass? What is my assignment?” For me, it’s been to go to these states, decree the release of Glory River West, and partner with local churches to create spaces for the Holy Spirit to move. Second, I wait on the Lord to see what He wants to do: we don’t manufacture moves of God, nor do we stand around idle, hoping and wishing God is going to do it all. We wait, and we watch to see where the Spirit of God is moving, so we can move in that same direction. Three Gatherings, One River I was recently in Southern California for three gatherings. Each one was unique, but every time the Lord moved with power. In this season, we can’t be afraid of appearing awkward while waiting on direction from the Lord. My rule: He speaks and moves first, and then we respond. First service, the Lord directed me to announce the revival history of Southern California, declare that California is part of the Acts 2:17 outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and then pray for a baptism of the Spirit and fire over those gathered. God came in with salvation and strong deliverance. In the second gathering, we prayed for the church hosting us, the leaders, and the intercessors. I taught a message about God coming down (instead of Him wanting to evacuate us from the planet), and then, as I attempted to conclude Point 2 and move on to Point 3, the Lord had me pray for people to be born again. His glory river showed up to sweep people into the Kingdom. About 7 people came forward and were gloriously transformed by Jesus’ redeeming power. Then, in the last meeting, right after worship, there was a clear sense that a river of healing was flowing. So we (team of leaders) prayed for the sick, with many indicating that they had been measurably healed by the presence and power of Jesus. This is one example of God’s Glory River flowing on the West Coast of the United States. And I want us to come into agreement over the destiny of the West Coast and California. God finishes what He starts, as Philippians 1:6 says. The Land of Movements I love California. I also know it’s been hard and dark spiritually, but like Elijah’s servant in 1 Kings 18, we are receiving reports of a revival “cloud” the size of a man’s hand arising, a sign of the coming torrential outpouring of the Spirit. California is a land rich with movements of God and revival in its soil, soil that has now been filled with the “dirt” of the Philistines (sin, demonic ideologies, corruption). But just like Isaac re-dug the wells of his father, Abraham, that had been filled in, I believe the Lord is raising up a burning church, an Ekklesia who will truly re-dig the wells of revival. It’s happening now. Perhaps you live in California and are discouraged about the spiritual condition of your state. Maybe you watch California from afar and think the state is “beyond hope.” I am grateful our God is not intimidated or shaken by gross and deep darkness. The Lord is actually reminding us of the spiritual heritage of California, and provoking us to give thanks. Giving thanks calibrates our eyes to see what God has done, and recognize He is the God who finishes things. Let’s give some thanks now: Lord, we thank You for the Azusa Street Revival of 1906 that changed times and seasons for the Earth, reintroducing the church to the power and move of the Holy Spirit. Because of this, today, half a billion Christians around the world claim a Spirit-filled experience. We thank You for Aimee Semple McPherson pioneering the Foursquare Movement and the great explosion of Pentecost that was released from Angelus Temple. We thank You for the Charismatic Renewal birthed out of Van Nuys, that brought a sweeping move of the Spirit impacting every denomination in the 1960’s. Thank You, Lord, for the Jesus Revolution which exploded in Southern California, marked a generation, and touched the world. Just as movements of God have been birthed in Southern California, we pray for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit on a new generation that will pick up where previous generations left off. What the River Brings As His river flows, here is what I believe we will see: “Swarms of living things will appear wherever the water of this river flows. Fish will abound in the Dead Sea, for its waters will become fresh. Life will flourish wherever this water flows.” (Ezekiel 47:9 NLT) Healing in the River As His river flows, we will witness supernatural, miraculous healings. Lord, may there be meetings where they are “all healed,” and territories are broken open for the Gospel. Salvation in the River His river is releasing salvation, and people will become convicted of their utter and absolute need for the redemptive work of Jesus — simply by experiencing the river of His presence. They will taste the very life-giving waters the world has failed to deliver—and call on the name of the Lord and be saved. I’ve seen it. Deliverance and Freedom in the River His river will bring deliverance. Freedom from torment. Liberation from demonic power. Commissioning and Deployment in the River And finally, His river will touch people to such a degree that they will become overshadowed and saturated by the Holy Spirit — releasing His presence and power into every sphere of influence, every world system, every arena of culture that has (for too long) been under the tyranny of satan — the river is going to bring healing to nations, to territories, to California, and that Glory River flows through you. Pray with me: Father, we thank You that You finish what You start. Thank You for the movements that have begun, and we thank You, Lord, for moving us towards the greatest outpouring of Your Spirit the Earth has ever seen. We recognize that California is part of Your “last days” prophecy. We ask according to Acts 2:17 that all flesh would experience the outpouring of the Spirit. And all flesh includes California! We celebrate every sign and expression of Your movement — even when it’s a cloud the size of a man’s hand. When Elijah saw that small cloud, born of his prayers, he knew Your verdict had been rendered. He did not despise the small beginning (Zechariah 4:10), but declared his unwavering faith (1 Kings 18:44). We have seen the small cloud over America and elsewhere, and we, too, declare our faith that an abundance of spiritual rain is about to fall. We pray these things in Jesus’ name. Amen. The River Is Rising The Bible is rich with symbolism. A picture, as they say, is worth 1000 words, and God painted many pictures in the Old Testament that depict spiritual truths and realities. One of the most fascinating ways in which He did so was through geography. Israel’s crossing of the Jordan River from the wilderness of sin into the Promised Land/inheritance (Joshua 3) was one of these. It pictures the redemption of the human race at the Cross, allowing us to “cross over” from sin and spiritual death back into life. Follow me closely to get all the pieces – you’ll be glad you did. Joshua Pictured Christ In this symbolic act, Joshua was a “type” of Christ; he gave Israel their inheritance, and Jesus gave us ours. His name actually reflects this. Joshua’s full name was Jehoshua; Joshua is simply a shortened form. It comes from yasha,(1) the root word for Yeshua. The name means “Jehovah is salvation” and is actually the Hebrew counterpart to the name “Jesus.” Joshua’s name was essentially Jesus. (It had originally been Hoshea [Numbers 13:16], but Moses changed it - no doubt at the leading of Holy Spirit - as part of him being a picture of Jesus, our salvation. Amazing - the one who gave Israel their inheritance had the same name as He who gave us ours!) The Jordan River Pictured Death In this account of Israel and Joshua, the Jordan River, which separated Israel from their inheritance, represents humankind’s spiritual death, that which separates us from ours. This spiritual death “flowed” to us from Adam (Romans 5:12). So, to paint this picture, God created a small town named Adam 20 miles upstream from where Israel would cross. From this town, the river flowed southward through the Arabah, which means “desert, sterile, or barren,” and emptied into the lowest point on earth, the Dead (Salt) Sea, where nothing can live. From Adam to the Dead Sea! Could there be any doubt that this geography - a river, flowing from a place named “Adam,” into barrenness, arriving eventually at Earth’s lowest point, feeding into the Dead Sea - was formed by God to picture Adam, his fall, and the fruit of his sin flowing “downstream” to form the dead sea of humanity (Romans 5:12)? None. The Ark and the Mercy Seat This picture is why the Ark of the Covenant, covered by the Mercy Seat where the atoning blood was sprinkled, entered the Jordan first when Israel crossed (Joshua 3:11-13). The action pictures Christ entering into the waters of death for us at the Cross, then sprinkling His atoning blood on the Mercy Seat of heaven to cut off the flow of death originating from Adam. This is also why God cut off the flow of the Jordan River at the precise moment the Ark and Mercy Seat entered the water. But please notice, the river was not stopped just a mile or so upstream, enough distance to allow several hundred thousand people and animals to cross. It was cut off almost 20 miles upstream - at the town of Adam! The sacrifice of Christ was reaching all the way back to that which originated in Adam. “Then the waters which were flowing down from above stood and rose up in one heap, a great distance away at Adam, the city that is beside Zarethan; and those which were flowing down toward the sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, were completely cut off...” (Joshua 3:16; NASB). Let that sink in. God painted a literal picture of Christ’s eventual entrance into death for us, conquering it, and cutting off its flow at the source - Adam. What a picture! The River of Life Ezekiel 47 gives us a different picture of God’s life once again flowing into the dead sea of humanity. In this account, the waters of death are transformed by the living water flowing from God Himself. The river flowed from God’s presence, the Temple, and increased in depth until it was deep enough to swim in (verses 1-5). Then the river flowed into the Arabah (verse 8), which, remember, symbolizes death and barrenness, and finally emptied into the Dead Sea (verse 9), the spiritually dead “sea of humanity.” And what happened when this river of living water flowed into the barren desert, the spiritually dead sea of humanity? Everything lived where the river flowed - the desert came alive! - and the Dead Sea was healed, now teeming with fish (verses 9-12)! The River Is Rising Again I’m sharing this teaching today because the river of God is rising once again. Its life-giving flow of salvation to people and nations is deepening and intensifying. Get ready and get in! In Ezekiel’s vision, at every stage/level of the river, the angel told the prophet to cross it, which meant he had to get into the river. He didn’t wait until the water was deep. It was almost as though each level was preparing him for the next. The lesson for us is this: whatever level of the river is available to us, get in it! We must immerse ourselves in God’s presence and glory, regardless of its depth. As we do, deeper waters will come. Tomorrow I’m going to share a report of the rising river of God in our nation that will encourage you. This river in America is increasing…and will not be stopped. Pray with me: Father, You are more than amazing. Down through history, in ways no human could have imagined, You hid pictures of Christ, the Cross, and our great redemption. You even fashioned geography – land, rivers, and seas – to do so. Truly, You are beyond description; there is no one like You. Thank You for sending Jesus into death to cut off the flow of its power. In doing so, He restored our lost inheritance to us. And thank You for doing this with such finality that our sinful past is not even remembered! Remove all guilt from those who have not realized just how complete their salvation truly is. As we ponder these things, our faith is stirred to believe that You can release this salvation for nations…that incredible revivals will take place that transform entire regions of the earth. Do this, we pray. Roll back the power of spiritual death and heal barren places on the earth. We’ve been asking this for the Middle East and do so again today. Roll back the power of death operating there. We pray this in Christ’s name. Amen. Our decree: The river of God is rising in America and the nations, overwhelming death and releasing life! Appealing to Heaven with the Secretary of War As we begin this week, we have 5 weeks until the important midterms. I, along with other prayer leaders, am asking for a united thrust of intercession between now and then, asking for God’s grace and favor. Our great friends at Intercessors For America have prepared a thorough prayer guide we can all use, creating efficiency and agreement. I’m reading their points today as our post. For today’s prayer, I’ll be reading the powerful prayer offered at the recent White House Governors Dinner by Secretary of War Pete Hegseth. I give thanks to the Lord that we have godly men and women serving us in this administration! IFA Midterm Prayer Guide “God has most certainly been answering prayers for this nation through the current administration. Since then, we have witnessed rapid changes addressing many of the issues afflicting the soul of this nation. We have seen political prisoners set free, the defunding of harmful institutions, stronger protection of our borders, the arrest and deportation of dangerous criminals, and renewed protection for religious freedom. We have also seen President Trump and his administration openly praying to Jesus, along with many other blessings and answered prayers. “As we look ahead, we must continue to pray that the midterm primaries and the November midterm elections result in godly leaders being elected, so that the plans that God has for this nation may be fully realized and not suddenly halted or reversed: Pray that deceptive media and advertising tactics would fail miserably. (Ps. 21:11) Pray that conservative messaging would be truthful, honorable, and compelling to the people—that it would be heard clearly and powerfully, and that truth would ultimately prevail. (Psalm 15:1–3) Pray that God’s candidates get on the ballot. (Phil. 2:4) Pray that radical candidates who oppose God’s will are seen for the true agenda they have and are not appealing to American voters. (Jer. 22:13) Pray for massive voter turnout for the conservatives and that Christians overwhelm the voting polls and exercise their biblical citizenship. (Jer. 29:7) Pray for honest elections, renouncing fraud and any infringement on free and fair elections. (1 Peter 2:13-14) Pray that any attempt at fraud is exposed and thwarted prior to the close of election day/polls. (Luke 8:17) Pray that only legitimate U.S. citizens vote in the elections. (Rom. 1:18) Pray that the financial support for radical leftist organizations that promote evil and ungodly candidates and agendas would dry up and come to an end. (Prov. 13:22) Pray that funding for godly candidates would be abundant. (Ps. 5:12) Pray that pastors would boldly preach the full gospel, addressing the evils our nation faces and explaining how godly governmental leadership can help confront and restrain them. (1 Pet. 2:9) Pray that pastors teach their congregations that it is vitally important that they vote and to vote from a Biblical worldview. (Deut. 1:13) Pray that the church provides voter guides for their congregations. (Hosea 4:6) Pray that churches would encourage faithful believers to run for public office and stand firmly beside them as they campaign and are elected to serve. (Acts 6:3) Pray against running out of ballots, machine malfunctions, and any other interference that would prevent people from voting. Pray for all election officials to count and register the votes accurately and honorably. (Deut. 10:17) Pray against delays in counting of votes and for timely reporting of results. (Prov. 16:11) Pray that only and all legitimate mail-in ballots are counted. Pray for safety and security at every voting precinct. (Prov. 16:11) Pray that every Christian would actively participate in the voting process by volunteering on campaigns, serving at voting precincts, acting as poll watchers, volunteering at phone banks and texting trees, funding candidates by donating, knocking on doors, and helping however they are able. Pray that there is no violence or retaliation against any person(s) over the results, such as riots. Pray that God’s will be done in this and every election. (Matt. 6:10) Pray for wisdom and discernment for God’s choice of candidates. (Matt. 6:33) Pray that the lethargy and complacency that have infected so many people be lifted, and that a new fire of passion for turning this nation back to God be lit in every heart and spirit. (Amos 6:1) Pray for safety and protection for the candidates and their families. (Ps. 91:1-2) Pray against any violence that may be attempted on candidates and their families. (2 Thes. 3: 3) Pray that truthful information about all candidates would be readily available, enabling voters to arrive at the polls well informed and confident in their choices. (Prov. 2:6) Pray that God would be glorified in our nation through our choice of leaders.”(1) Pete Hegseth’s Prayer Father, we thank You for believers like Pete Hegseth who boldly stand for You. We agree with his prayer today: “Dear Heavenly Father, King Jesus, we come humbly before Your throne, praising You for all the providence You’ve bestowed upon this nation for over 250 years. From George Washington to President Trump, we have dedicated this nation as ‘One Nation Under God.’ And certainly ‘In God We Trust.’ And as we think back to 250 years ago, when George Washington, on bended knee in Valley Forge, appealed to heaven on behalf of his troops in this young nation, we’ve appealed to You from the beginning, and may we continue to appeal to You. “And tonight we pray for our president, President Trump. Give him safety. Give him wisdom. Lord, we pray for our Vice President, our First Lady, our Second Lady, the cabinet members here, all the governors assembled here as well, our civil magistrates. Lord God, I ask that You give them the wisdom to see what is right and the courage to do it. Wisdom is defined as the fear of the Lord, the fear of the Lord being the source of all knowledge and wisdom. Lord God, Your eternal truths, may they rule. “So this evening also, I would be remiss if I did not pray for our great troops, our men and women all around the globe, defending our great nation as they have for 250 years. The All-Important Life-Long Journey The concept of glory is fascinating. The Hebrew word (kabowd)(1) means heavy or weighty, with derived meanings of majestic, esteemed, influential (one who carries the weight of authority and power), and more. The Greek word (doxa)(2) is enlightening as well. It involves the concept of recognition. More precisely, it is that which causes something or someone to be recognized for what it really is.(3) When we read in Scripture that humankind carries, or was “crowned with,” the glory of God (see 1 Corinthians 11:7; Psalms 8:5), it is telling us God wanted to be recognized in humans. Why? So that humans could accurately represent Him and His authority. When creation looked at Adam, they were supposed to see God. And they did! That is, until Adam sinned and fell short of God’s glory (Romans 3:23). God is no longer recognized in fallen humankind. We must be changed back into God’s image “from glory to glory” (2 Corinthians 3:18) for this recognition to be realized again. When we are born again, we instantly receive God’s nature in our spirits (2 Corinthians 5:17). Our souls - our minds, emotions, and wills - are then transformed progressively, enabling us to manifest outwardly who we already are inwardly in Christ (Romans 12:1-2). We “become” who we “are.” This is why 2 Corinthians 3:18 says, even though we’re already a new creation, that we must be “transformed” into His image - from glory to glory. Based on the above definition of glory, we progress from one stage of manifesting Christ to another, looking more like him in each stage. This is to be a never-ending process of change, occurring as long as we live on this earth. “Transformation” in this verse is the Greek word metamorphoo. It’s easy to see our English word metamorphosis in it, which is a process of change from one form or state to another. For us, like the butterfly, this process happens from the inside out. The metamorphosis of a caterpillar is simply the process of it becoming what it has already been created, wired, and programmed to be. It is destined to be a butterfly. Our inherent destiny is to be like Christ. His nature is programmed into our spirit, our spiritual DNA (John 1:16); we are one with Him in the spiritual realm (1 Corinthians 6:17). Unlike the butterfly, however, our outward transformation is not a one-time process, but a lifelong journey. We go from image to image, glory to glory, looking more like Him to looking more like Him. That’s a lot of theology in four paragraphs. My purpose, however, is not to weigh you down with a lot of theology, but to point out that we should be ever-changing; the process must never stop. If it does, we become what Jesus called an “old wineskin” (Matthew 9.17). What does this mean? When wineskins are filled with new wine, the fermentation process causes them to expand, and even take on slightly different shapes and forms. When empty, they dry out, become rigid, and can even maintain those shapes - a bulge here, a lump there. They must then be “renewed,” accomplished by a soaking process that transforms them back into their needed flexibility. They can then flex with another period of fermentation from “new wine” and its associated expansion. By using this analogy, Jesus was warning the disciples of John that they, as the Pharisees had done, were in danger of hardening and remaining in a previous season of glory. They had become rigid in their “shapes, forms, methods and traditions,” which was keeping them from receiving the new wine, the next season of glory. The warning for us is clear. We must be flexible in order to receive the next outpouring of Holy Spirit (the wine). Regardless of how glorious the last season was, there is more. Regardless of how mature we think we are, there is a deeper level. Regardless of how much truth we think we know, there is more. And the doses of this “new wine” will stretch us, expanding our understanding, changing our thinking and ways. If we are not flexible enough to embrace these changes, we are officially an old wine skin–still part of God’s family, but unable to move to the next level of representing Christ on earth. I’m sharing this because the entire earth is entering another season of change and transformation. This will include the church. Not only will individual believers have to change, but movements, organizations, and congregations will need renewal. The way we think, analyze, and conduct Kingdom business will be stretched. Past forms and shapes must flex as the new wine is poured out. For those unwilling to be transformed yet again, the old wine and glory will have to be enough. The time to prepare our wineskin is NOW. This need for change includes government leaders. I feel that we must pray especially for President Trump. He has changed dramatically in the last several years. But I believe God wants to take him into yet another phase of transformation, enabling him to reach the ultimate level of his destiny–helping transform the world. I believe God wants to do this in the President quickly, and I feel our prayers can help facilitate it. Pray with me: Father, we humble our hearts before You now and acknowledge that we need another phase of glory. We must experience another level of transformation, enabling us to reveal Christ on earth more effectively. As this greatest of all Holy Spirit outpourings takes place, we want wineskins that can receive the new wine. We invite You to change our thinking, our methods, our programs, our forms, and our traditions. We all become set in our ways. Give us the revelation needed to bring about the changes we need. We refuse to become like the church in Sardis, having a name or reputation that we are alive, when in reality we’re dead (Revelation 3:1). And we pray for President Trump. He is a man of action and an out-of-the-box thinker. As strong as these gifts are, however, they are not enough on their own. May he have encounters with You in this season, meetings that shape his nature even more into what You want and need. Meet with him more powerfully than he has ever experienced You. Cause him to know You in ways he has never known You. Transform him yet again. We pray all of these things in Jesus’ name. Policies vs Personality We all know President Trump is a fighter. He refuses to back down when people lie about him or attack him, and he refuses to back down when it comes to standing up for America’s interests. The obvious truth is that America needed someone with his stubbornness and determination at this time in history. A Mr. Nice Guy could never have accomplished what Trump has in the last 20 months; they wouldn’t have even survived the onslaught of attacks. You may or may not like President Trump’s personality, but you should judge him by his record and policies, not his personality. Here are some of his accomplishments in less than two years: Achieved the most secure border in history - ZERO illegal aliens admitted to the United States in the past 16 months. Biden allowed millions into our nation, including drug smugglers whose product killed hundreds of thousands of Americans. Signed the Laken Riley Act to get dangerous criminal aliens off our streets. The Left fights him over this policy. Achieved the largest drop in the murder rate EVER recorded, to the lowest level in 125 years - since 1900. You’d think even the Dems would love this. Signed the largest tax cuts in American History - the Great Big Beautiful Bill - including no tax on tips, no tax on overtime, and no tax on Social Security for our great seniors. The Left fought this vehemently. Secured commitments for $19.2 trillion dollars of new investment in the United States. That’s trillion, with a T. Imposed historic tariffs to bring back American Manufacturing - including 50% tariffs on foreign copper, aluminum, and steel, and 25% tariffs on foreign automobiles. Predecessors in the White House and Congress gave away our manufacturing - and the jobs associated with it. Trump is bringing it all back and strengthening our blue-collar workers. The stock market has set 80 all-time record highs since the election. More Americans are working today than at any time in the history of our country. Bet you haven’t heard that on the news. Made the largest-ever investment in the United States Armed Forces - $1 trillion dollars this year, and hopefully $1.5 trillion next year. America is strong again and, consequently, a deterrent to evil forces. Peace through strength is in play again. Captured and brought to justice the outlaw dictator of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, through Operation Absolute Resolve. Trump is cleaning up America’s “neighborhood,” from Panama to Cuba to Venezuela to Mexico’s cartels. And he just secured a military presence in Greenland, something America desperately needed. Obliterated Iran’s nuclear enrichment capacity with Operation Midnight Hammer and Operation Epic Fury to ensure Iran will NEVER have a nuclear weapon. Cartel strikes. Fentanyl across our border is down by a record 60%, saving hundreds of thousands of lives. Secured Most Favored Nation agreements to reduce the cost of many prescription drugs by price differences of 300, 400, 500 percent and more. Terminated the Green New Scam, declared a National Energy Emergency, and began to “Drill, Baby, Drill.” Ended the insane Electric Vehicle Mandate and other crippling regulations on American Automobiles. American exports have soared to the highest level in American history - we are on track to export an unprecedented $2.5 TRILLION dollars in goods this year alone. Staggering! Abolished all discriminatory “Diversity, Equity, Inclusion” (DEI) policies throughout the federal government and private sector. Some organizations still try to sneak it into curriculum and policies, but huge strides are being made. Banned MEN from playing in women’s sports. Can you believe this was even necessary? Banned transgender ideology and critical race theory in our schools. Launched Trump Accounts - tax-free investment accounts for every American child, starting with $1,000 for every newborn child. Settled 8 wars with historic peace deals in his first 12 months, including the War in Gaza. Got all hostages returned to their families, both living and dead. Halted all refugee admissions to the United States, including from Somalia and other dangerous places. Deployed the National Guard to restore Law and Order to Washington, D.C., Memphis, and New Orleans. He offered to do so for other cities such as Chicago, but they prefer the violence over Trump’s help. Please continue to pray for President Trump. He is working very hard for the American people and the world. And as I have been saying for several days, please pray for God’s intervention in the upcoming midterm elections. We need godly, conservative leaders in Congress. If those on the Left take control of the Legislature, much of what the Trump Administration could accomplish in the next two years will stall. Pray with me: Father, You formed our nation. When the Framers were trying to write America’s Constitution and hit what seemed like an impassable stalemate, You used 81-year-old delegate Benjamin Franklin to get things back on track. Referencing Scripture, he stated, “God governs in the affairs of men” (from Daniel 4:17); “If a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without His notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without [H]is aid?” (from Matthew 10:29); and “Except the Lord build the House, they labor in vain that build it" (From Psalm 127:1). Franklin urged that Your help be sought; this was agreed to, and You gave the needed wisdom and agreement.(1) We are still in great need of Your assistance. Only You who formed us can keep us. Our President, Legislators, and Justices desperately need Your wisdom and guidance. Through the coming midterm elections, give us more leaders who know this. Cause the appropriate information to be released that will result in godly candidates winning elections. And secure the election process, whatever this might require. Please give President Trump, Speaker Johnson, Majority Leader Thune, and Justice Roberts wisdom as they lead our three branches of government. Where they may not be aligned with You in their thinking and plans, please change this. And please remove government leaders who resist Your attempts to change their thinking. As Franklin spoke of, rule in our affairs! In Christ’s name we ask, amen. We the People “We the people” - three words that changed the world. These opening words of the United States Constitution made a strong and radical declaration. They fundamentally shifted how people understood political power in the modern world, asserting the premise that the legitimate authority of government derives solely from the consent of the governed. Before the American Revolution, political thought largely relied on what was considered the “divine right of kings,” where power flowed downward from monarchs to the subjects. Influenced by philosophers like John Locke, from whom the Founders also borrowed the phrase “appeal to heaven,” America’s Framers inverted this hierarchy. By asserting that “We the People” established the Constitution, they were stating that the government possessed no inherent rights of its own. Instead, citizens held inherent (and God-given) rights to create their government, for the purpose of protecting their peace, safety, and liberty. Many power-hungry American politicians, not born to royalty in a monarchy, now resort to a myriad of loopholes and misapplications to retain power and force their will on citizens. And, of course, many of them do so to gain wealth. It is incumbent upon “we the people,” therefore, to remain vigilant and oversee them, something we haven’t always done well. Ben Franklin’s statement that the Framers had created “a republic, if you can keep it,” has never been more frighteningly appropriate. “We the people,” of course, becomes unavoidably broken down into people groups: conservatives, liberals, leftists, and recently, Marxists and communists. And let’s not forget “we the evangelicals,” the so-called Bible-believing Christians, said to still be the largest voting bloc of Americans, potentially, that is. Sadly, many evangelicals no longer believe in “we the people.” They have been taught by their leaders that “we the church” are too holy and “set apart” from this somewhat defiled political system to get involved. And the theologies of many – their belief that “God is in control of everything, He’ll determine who is in power” – insulate them from any responsibility for the outcome. (I’ve never really figured out why this group is allowed to speak derogatorily of governmental decisions, policies, and consequences, since that would be criticizing God’s performance and decisions.) Even though many church leaders simply won’t embrace the “we the people” concept and speak up to help create a righteous government, we evangelicals are not without recourse. We have influence in the lives of our friends in the pews. And these believers are open! Many are desperate for change in our nation, truly appalled by the level of evil and corruption in our land. They don’t want children trafficked and abused, Islamists taking over our cities, and kindergarten children groomed by drag queens, nor do they believe God has chosen to “allow” this. They realize man’s free will is the culprit. With a nudge from a friend or family member - not condemning words and insults - they would vote to change it. Some might even spread the word to others. Believers actually WANT input and advice from the silent pastors regarding the issues our country is facing. A few years ago, George Barna conducted a poll entitled, “What Would People Like to Hear About in Church Sermons?” The poll showed Christians’ broad interest in topics related to governance and social issues. When asked about interest in these topics, a clear majority of Christians expressed a desire to learn more: Abortion - 91% Beginning of life, right to life, contraception, adoption, unwed mothers Religious persecution/liberty - 86% Personal duty vs. government duty, church response, global conditions Poverty - 85% Personal duty vs. government role, church response, homelessness, hunger, dependency Cultural restoration - 83% Appropriate morals, law and order, defensible values and norms, self-government Sexual identity - 82% Same-sex marriage, transgenderism, marriage, LGBT Israel - 80% Role in the world, Christian responsibility to Israel, US foreign policy toward Israel and her enemies Christian Heritage - 79% Role of Christian faith in American history, the church's role in U.S. development, modern-day relevance Role of Government - 76% Biblical view, church-state relationship, personal responsibility, limitations Bioethics - 76% cloning, euthanasia, genetic engineering, cryogenics, organ donation, surrogacy Self-governance - 75% biblical support, personal conduct, impact on freedom, national sovereignty Church in politics/government - 73% separation of church and state, legal boundaries, church resistance to government Islam - 72% core beliefs, response to Islamic aggression, a threat to U.S. peace and domestic tranquility. According to Mark Burrell in his book Rediscovering the American Covenant, people in the pews were asking for biblical guidance on these issues, which are certainly some of the most relevant and important of our time. The survey also asked pastors whether they planned to discuss these topics from the pulpit. The results? Only 14% answered “Yes.”(1) Is this last question’s response not one of the most appalling reports you’ve heard? It isn’t that the people don’t want to hear it; it’s that the pastors are too afraid – or too uninformed – to discuss it! But if your pastor won’t speak up, you can. Yesterday’s post mentions a good way to do so. You can also encourage them to tune in to Flashpoint, or perhaps read/listen to the Give Him 15 posts. Other biblically based voices are speaking out for involvement in government; help connect them. And especially encourage them to vote, and to do so for biblical values. It’s time for “we the church” to realize we are also “we the people.” Pray with me: Father, we agree with Founder Sam Adams, who declared when America was born that Your sovereign will was being released; You “to whom alone men ought to be obedient.” He continued by adding, “Our God reigns in heaven, and…from the rising to the setting of the sun, His Kingdom will come.”(2) We agree with John Quincy Adams, who declared that “the highest glory of the American Revolution was that it connected in one indissoluble bond the principles of civil government with the principles of Christianity.”(3) We ask You to help us restore these truths back into the core of American life and thinking. We ask for fire to return to America’s churches, the fires of revival. We ask for bold, fearless, biblical preaching and teaching to be resurrected. We ask that passion for You and Your presence would return, an insatiable hunger for You and Your Word. Convict us where we have bowed to an unbiblical government, the culture around us, unrighteous education systems, and mooringless courts and judges. Forgive us for allowing these and other things to steal the seed of Your Word, causing it to be unfruitful. Release Your river here and around the world. We pray these things in Christ’s name, amen. You Can Make a Difference “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by people. ‘You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.’” (Matthew 5:13-15 NASB) Sad to say, most Christians make very little impact on the world around them. Most never even consider the possibility. They are content with impacting their own private world by generating income, caring for their own, and perhaps building for their own future. Making it big, or even just making ends meet, motivates them. Making a difference is nowhere in the equation. This is one reason the world is in such a mess. Those whom God ordained to be salt and light have lost their savor and hidden the light. This has happened for various reasons: 1) selfish ambition certainly controls some; 2) many have never been trained and challenged to think that they can make the world a better place; 3) far too many have a skewed understanding of the sovereignty of God, believing “if He wants to change things, He’ll do so,” and there are certainly other reasons. The last group mentioned - the “leave it up to God” segment - has no understanding of the partnership God intended with His earthly family. Sadly, “the mass of men lead lives of quiet abdication.” (I know Thoreau is probably turning over in his grave!) Another significant reason, however, why many believers do very little to change the world around them isn’t selfishness, bad theology, or abdication of responsibility. They simply aren’t afforded many opportunities beyond praying, donating money, or, when it comes to impacting the culture around them, voting. These activities are certainly important, but I have very good news for those who want to do more. And it’s easy. Awakening Your Fellow Believer Shockingly, approximately half of evangelicals aren’t registered to vote, and half of those who are still don’t vote. This is mind-boggling. It is an accepted fact that if all evangelical Christians voted and did so according to biblical values, we could control every national election, positioning godly, Bible-believing leaders in office. This means that in one election cycle, Christians could initiate radical change in our nation. Today, I’m sharing how you can help! Who would have thought that a person could sit at his or her desk or kitchen table and save babies, protect the future of children, end human trafficking, stop antisemitism, keep Communism out of America, ward off globalism, protect our borders, stop billions of dollars in fraud, end the voices of America-haters, and save our republic. But you can. Let’s get on board! Pray with me: Father, we thank You for the awakening occurring in the body of Christ. The sleeping giant is stirring. Make the alarm clock louder and louder. Make it impossible for Christians in America to silence the alarm or override it with other activities and thoughts. Our hearts, though breaking over many issues, are filled with faith that You are changing things dramatically. The conscience of a nation is being brought back to life. The heart of a complacent and passive church is, and will continue to be, awakened. Thank You for Your grace and Your mercy. And Father, as believers awaken from complacency and lethargy, motivate them to action. Give organizations like Write Now America great success and participation as they implement creative ideas. Lead many people to participate in their efforts. Use this to give righteous candidates success in their elections. Thank You for turning this nation around. We are very grateful that You did not give up on America. And since You didn’t, we won’t. Your verdict has been rendered: America shall be saved! So be it.
