The Establishment Clause “Anytime religion is mentioned within the confines of government today, people cry ‘Separation of church and state!’ Many people think this statement appears in the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution and, therefore, must be strictly enforced. However, the words ‘separation’, ‘church’ and ‘state’ do not even appear in the First Amendment! The First Amendment reads, ‘Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of a religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.’ The statement about a wall of separation between church and state was made in a letter on January 1st, 1802, by Thomas Jefferson to the Danbury Baptist Association of Connecticut. The congregation heard a wide-spread rumor that Congregationalists, another denomination, was going to become the national religion. Jefferson made it very clear in his letter to the Danbury congregation that the ‘separation’ was meant to be that government would not establish a national religion or dictate to men how to worship God. Jefferson’s letter, from which the church and state statement was taken, affirmed First Amendment rights.” (David Barton)1 “Indeed, the time is coming, and it is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth. The Father is looking for people like that to worship him. God is a spirit. Those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” (John 4:23-24; GWT) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: The President, the Congress, nor the Supreme Court cannot limit our worship of God! Rejoice! Do not bow down to the separation of Church and State! It is not in the Constitution and it must be challenged! Unless you are someone else’s private property, pray where you want to. Read your Bible where you want to, including in school! Anywhere where it is public domain, you can worship God! Get a few friends, go to a public place and worship Him. Plan to draw a crowd and tell them about Jesus. Teach your children how to ask fellow students if they can pray for them. Teach them to pray for the sick and the hurting. Teach them to lead people to salvation in Christ. Teach them how to even pray over their teachers, principals, other school staff, and classroom volunteers. Want to see your school’s atmosphere change? Call the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) or The Justice Foundation for help, if you are told to stop praying or worshipping in any public forum, including your schools. A prayer you can pray: God, what a revelation! I can feel the fear lifting. The enemy has tried to put Your people in a box and make us afraid to worship You in the public square. We thought we had to honor the separation of church and state. What a lie! Let Christian parents teach their children to pray in their schools, pray over their friends and teachers, read their Bibles, and sing songs that honor you. I can see our schools’ atmospheres changing! Bless the ACLJ and The Justice Foundation for helping us know how to legally navigate this and take back our First Amendment freedom to worship You anywhere we want to! Thank you, Jesus! Amen. Today’s decree: The courts of America shall not prohibit our worship of God! 1 learn more about David Barton and Wallbuilders here.

Is Marriage on the Rocks? “In San Francisco a few years ago, sat an imperiest judge who concluded that marriage, as it has existed for more than 5000 years on every continent and in every culture on the earth, is not rational and should be retooled. Although many fine men and women serve on the bench, this decision illustrates the heady abuse of power that is all too common among independent fiefdoms, known as judges. They rule like royal monarchs, and sitting on the top of the pyramid is the U.S. Supreme Court, which threatens the liberty that was purchased with the blood of countless men and women who died to secure it. How did this happen to us? How could such a great and freedom-loving people have allowed themselves to be dominated by a handful of unelected, unaccountable, arrogant, and often gutless judges, many of whom receive lifetime appointments and regularly circumvent the democratic process? It is a breathtaking and ominous development. Was this the desire of the founding fathers when they designed this great representative form of government? Hardly.” (James Dobson)1 “Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.” (Genesis 2:24; ESV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Declare, “Marriage is not defined by man, but by God alone!” Repent for Christians who have not honored their marriage covenants. This opens the door to the world’s judgements of the institution. Pray for every marriage you know, including your own. Pray for the strengthening of the relationships between husbands and wives in general. Ask God for America to once again honor marriage as being between one man and one woman. How sad that we even have to define it. A prayer you can pray: Father, I honor marriage as You created it. What a miracle to see one man and one woman enter into a one-flesh, life-long marriage covenant. Forgive the Church for not always honoring our marriage covenants. We have esteemed them too lightly and not understood covenant ourselves. The world, therefore, has mocked us and felt they could do a better job at defining what marriage could be. (Pray for every marriage you know, including your own.) Strengthen marriage in America. Let the covenants be honored. Let marriage between one man and one woman be desired and not rejected. Let our nation once again honor Your definition of marriage as the only definition of marriage, Jesus. Amen. Today’s decree: Marriage cannot be redefined by any judge! Marriage belongs to God! 1 Learn more about Dr. James Dobson here.

What Is It That We Are Fighting? “In 1973 the death of the innocents was sanctioned by the judicial branch of the government. (Since then,) the culture of death has been seeking to overtake America. How can it be that America, whose founding fathers declared the rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, would align itself with Naziism and Stalinism? Both of these twentieth century worldviews sanctioned the killing of the innocent. The horrors of the holocaust remain etched as one of the saddest chapters in history, yet the murders of (67 million) pre-born babies is as offensive in the eyes of God as the murder of Jews in Europe. It is past time to shift the judiciary branch of our nation’s government. It needs to be shifted from embracing a culture of death to the affirmation of life. Justices who want to rewrite our Constitution and apply internationalist law to our nation need to be removed. Justices who arrogantly override the will of the people expressed in legislative law need to be removed. It is time we get educated as to what we are fighting.” (Jim Hodges)1 “For You formed my inward parts; you covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them.” (Psalm 139:13-16; NKJV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Are we fighting with human justices or with a demonic principality? A door was opened to massive death in this nation by nine men. Identificationally repent for the sin of abortion in our nation. Renounce any spiritual alignment with a spirit of death, euthanasia, Naziism, Stalinism, comunism and humanism. Declare over America, “We choose Life!” Close the door to internationalist law in America, as it includes a death culture and would override the Rule of Law we follow, based on our Constitution. Decree the shifting of the justices – out with those who choose death and in with those who choose life! A prayer you can pray: Lord, it is astonishing how all the enemy needs is an open door in one governmental high place and he comes rushing in to steal, kill and destroy life. Our citizens did not choose to let this demonic principality have access. Only nine Supreme Court Justices did that! The 76 million babies we have now lost to abortion far exceeds the losses of the Holocaust, which was abhorrent! Save us, Lord! We want this blood bath to stop! We, the people of God, choose Life for America! We close the door to international influence in our laws and Courts. We say the door to our courts is closed to any judge who is not pro-life! In Jesus’ name, amen. Today’s decree: We say “Life” will come through the Supreme Court! 1 Learn more about Jim Hodges here.

Keeping Things Balanced Gary Bauer, of American Values, said a few years ago, “The courts today are routinely striking down acts of Congress, overturning votes of the people, thwarting the authority of the executive branch on grounds that no one else can find in the Constitution. Slowly, but surely, the courts have set themselves up as masters of government, when in fact they are simply one branch, no more powerful than the executive or the legislative branches, which represent the people. The courts are just as capable of illegality and acting unconstitutionally as the other branches are. But, clearly our founding fathers did not intend for the judiciary to be the Supreme Branch of our government.”1 Things have only barely begun to shift. I don’t see this as a political issue, in case you think I do. I see this as a deeply spiritual issue. “For the Lord is our Judge, the Lord is our lawgiver: the Lord is our King, he will save us.” (Isaiah 33:22; GNV) “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23; NASB) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Click here to see the Supreme Court Justices. They are people in need of our prayers. Pray for each one. Some of our Supreme Court Justices may know Christ and some may not. Pray that each and every one would be introduced to Jesus Christ, their loving Savior. Our justices may have unredeemed minds. This should not affect their Court decisions, as those are to be based on the U. S. Constitution and the Rule of Law. Without Jesus in their hearts, it is critical that they adhere to the Constitution for their decisions. Decree it so! A prayer you can pray: (Click here to see the Supreme Court Justices. They are people in need of our prayers. Pray for each one as the Lord leads.) Father, the most important thing our Supreme Court Justices need is to know Jesus as their Savior and Lord. Being saved will change everything, as righteousness will rule their hearts and they will seek You in their decisions. I ask for each to have a Divine encounter with You soon, if they do not already know You. If they do know You and are weary in well-doing, encourage and refresh them. I call each one to lean on the solid base of the U. S. Constitution for their decision making. It is a document created from prayer and seeking Your face. It is solid and true. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen. Today’s decree: Our human Justices need Jesus and the U. S. Constitution to make righteous decisions for the nation! 1 Read more about Gary Bauer and America Values, here.

Warnings From Thomas Jefferson It’s ironic to me that the man some like to quote as saying that the church and government must be separate is the man that prophesied what is happening now about the turn that the courts would take—Thomas Jefferson. I don’t think he realized he was prophesying when he said, “The germ of dissolution of our federal government is in the federal judiciary—an irresponsible body working like gravity by night and by day, gaining a little today and a little tomorrow and advancing its noiseless step like a thief over the field of jurisdiction until all shall be usurped from the states.” He went on to say, “The Constitution is a mere thing of wax in the hands of the judiciary, which they may twist and shape into any form they please.” In 1820, a few years later, he said to a man he was debating this with, “You seem to consider the judges as the ultimate arbiters of constitutional questions—a very dangerous doctrine, indeed—and one that would place us under the disposition of an oligarchy. Our judges are as honest as other men and not more so. Their power is the more dangerous, as they are at office for life and not responsible as the other functionaries are to the elective control. The Constitution has erected no such single tribunal, knowing as to whatever hands confide the corruptions of time and party its members would become despots.” “This is so because the corrupt nature has a hostile attitude toward God. It refuses to place itself under the authority of God’s standards because it can’t.” (Romans 8:7; GWT) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Interesting, isn’t it, that so soon after the Constitution’s establishment, Thomas Jefferson could already see where the judicial branch could end up? Ask God to stop the humanistic slide. Man without God is not able to keep his own earthly persuasions out of his decisions, according to Romans 8:7. Ask the Lord for more judges that know Him and have been transformed by the renewing of their minds. Declare that our Constitution is not as moldable wax, but as set in stone for the protection of all those who would judge and be judged by it. Call forth honest, God-fearing judges to all levels of the judiciary, but especially to the Supreme Court. A prayer you can pray: God, please stop the slide of the courts into the God-less abyss they are moving our nation. We really need people who know You to serve as our judges. Those without a relationship with You will act according to what they think is right, but Your Word says that their refusal to place themselves under Your authority will create a hostile attitude toward You. Forgive them, Jesus, because they do not understand what they are doing. Our society is suffering from their humanistic decisions. Our Constitution is indeed being molded like wax by their lack of a mindset directed by You. Raise up judges from among those that know You. Make a way for more to go to law school and make themselves ready for the bench—all the way to the Supreme Court. Amen. Today’s decree: Give us judges that honor the Lord!

Separation of Church and State I have papers and documents that Thomas Jefferson wrote that actually quote what he said when he mentioned the phrase “separation of church and state.” (See the letter here and the explanation here.) I can tell you who he wrote he letters to and what it was all about. I can tell you it was sixteen years after the Constitution was written. I can also tell you that the phrase was never used in a negative sense to rule in any judicial case in America until 1947. For a couple of hundred years, our fathers and our leaders in government knew what the First Amendment was all about. It was to prevent the government from the establishment of and the regulation of religion – particularly in choosing a specific form of Christian practice. It was to keep government out of the religious practices of the people, not keep the Church out of government. Many of our founders and early government leaders were pastors! That phrase—“separation of church and state”—originally meant about the opposite of what it means today. Since 1947, the courts, the media, and those with a liberal bent have used it to remove God from American society. “First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.” (1 Timothy 2:1-2; ESV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Does it bother you that God has largely been removed from the public square by the courts, the media and the other “thought leaders”? Talk to the Lord about this. Decide that what the enemy has caused to be turned against backward, ousting God from America, will be set right again by the Ekklesia! Declare a Divine reversal back to the Constitution’s original intent! Spiritually push the government, and especially the Courts, back into their constitutional boundaries. Read 1 Timothy 2:1-2 this way: “That we may lead peaceful and quiet lives, godly and dignified in every way, we will make supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions” in our nation. Do what 1 Timothy 2:1-2 says. A prayer you can pray: Lord, it really bothers me that Christians must be afraid of everything we do and say in the marketplace and the public square. Far from being offensive, we should be lights in the darkness, loving and caring. Instead, we are rapidly becoming marginalized and our voices are being stifled by those that want You to go away. As the Ekklesia, we rise up and declare a Divine reversal—God welcome in every aspect of American society once again! Our U.S. Constitution set the boundaries of limitations for government and we decree a return to those boundaries. That we may lead peaceful and quiet lives, godly and dignified in every way, we will make supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, in Jesus’ name. Amen. Today’s decree: God, You are welcome in the public square!

Separation of Church and State—Really? I don’t think the judges in America who espouse to the “separation clause”* and its erroneous meaning really believe that. They are either pathetically ignorant or they are willingly distorting what the Constitution really says. Or, they are misinformed or deceptive and disingenuous. I don’t really think they are ignorant—they have had too much education. I believe they know exactly, precisely, where that phrase came from. I believe they know it is not in the Constitution. I believe they know the context that Jefferson was speaking from when he wrote the letter that the distortion has come from. I don’t think it makes any difference to them that they know what it means. It has come to a point where they are a law unto themselves. They are taking their own ideology and trying to force it down the throat of the American people. Some of them have one mission and one mission only—to remove God from every facet of American life. “Therefore say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: Return to Me,’ declares the LORD of hosts, ‘that I may return to you, says the Lord of hosts.’” (Zechariah 1:3; ESV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Say to the Lord, “Return to us, Lord! Return to our government! Return to our courts! Return to our classrooms! Return to the marketplace! Return to our city councils and state legislatures! Return, Lord, return!” Tell the enemy to stop using ungodly men and women to try to tell us what the Constitution says. Tell the enemy to stop using men and women who are ignorant of God’s ways to tell us what is right and wrong! Command the Church to stop forming their way of thinking according to the political spirit and the pleasing of man. God’s way is to save sinful man! A prayer you can pray: We will return to You, Lord! Return to us! Return to our government! Return to our courts! Return to our classrooms! Return to the marketplace! Return to our city councils and state legislatures! Return, Lord, return! Fix this mess we are in! Satan, we declare a cease and desist order against you to stop using justices who don’t know God as their mouthpieces. We say that they will stop declaring lies and wickedness as if they are truths. The Church will stop listening to those who say good is evil and evil is good. Our moral foundation is in Christ and His Word alone. We ask for the salvation of the souls of those lost judges, Jesus. Then, everything will change! Amen. Today’s decree: America will turn to God! *“Establishment clause” refers to the First Amendment’s statement about the separation of church and state. Living and Breathing or Sound Legal Document The Constitution is a legal document. Like all legal documents, it says some things and doesn’t say other things. Former Congressman, Tom Delay, said of the Supreme Court, “We have a judiciary run amok.” Former Chief Justice Rehnquist said about the Court many years ago in 1985, “It is impossible to build sound constitutional doctrine upon mistaken understanding of constitutional history. The ‘establishment clause’* has been expressly freighted with Jefferson’s metaphor for nearly forty years. There is simply no historical foundation for the proposition that the framers intended to build a wall of separation between church and state. The recent court decisions are in no way based on either the language or the intent of the framers.” “If one turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination.” (Proverbs 28:9; ESV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Thank God for Supreme Court justices and Congressmen who know the truth about the Constitution and the Supreme Court and proclaim it for the world to hear. Command that every decision made without underlying support in the Constitution will be rolled back over time! Say that the wall of separation between church and state is a fictional one and it is coming down! A prayer you can pray: Father, we thank you for government leaders, even Supreme Court Justices who know the truth about our high court’s actions. They have spoken strong words to alert the people that the Court is overplaying its role. They have sounded the alarm to let us know that judgements they have made have been based on false premises and should be corrected. We command the reversal of those decisions. We know that will take time and we are okay with that, but the sooner, the better. The most influential lie has been the “separation of church and state” lie. It is causing some of the worst damage and we ask for that one to be exposed now! In Jesus’ name, amen. Today’s decree: The lie of the separation of church and state will be fully exposed and undone! *“Establishment clause” refers to the First Amendment’s statement about the separation of church and state. Altering the Constitution of the United States Why are the courts the problem? Because they have cast off restraint and no longer do what was initially intended of them. They are largely activists and not constitutionalists. They legislate from the bench, rewriting the Constitution. When necessary, if they can’t twist what they want out of the Constitution, they just ignore it altogether. They explain that away by calling the Constitution a “living, breathing document”.  In other words, “We don’t have to go by what it says any more. If we don’t like what it says, well, we just say it doesn’t apply to us today, so we’ll do something differently.” Some call it judicial tyranny. The late Justice Antonin Scalia referred to his own colleagues as “black robed masters.” He went on to decry the manipulation of the Constitution by the other justices. He said, “In the last 20 years, we have found the right to abortion, which is so little rooted in the traditions of the American people that it was criminal for 200 years. And, the right to homosexual sodomy, which is so little rooted in the traditions of the American people that it was criminal for 200 years. So, it is literally true that the Court has essentially liberated itself from the text of the Constitution, and even from the traditions of the American people. The Constitution is not a living organism.” “Without guidance from God, law and order disappear, but God blesses everyone who obeys his Law.” (Proverbs 29:18; CEV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Cry out, “God we need You in the Supreme Court! We need godly justices! We need justices like Justice Antonin Scalia! We need order on the Supreme Court!” Declare, “The Supreme Court Justices must do what the Constitution says! They cannot make decisions up out of the air! They cannot make laws! The Constitution is not a living, breathing document; it is a solid and stable foundation of our republic! The nation is returning to the honoring of the Constitution’s stability!” Make a prophetic statement! Shout, “The Supreme Court is shifting! The Supreme Court is shifting! The Supreme Court is shifting!” (Clap and shout until you feel the victory!) A prayer you can pray: God we need You in the Supreme Court! We need godly justices! We need justices like Justice Antonin Scalia! We need order on the Supreme Court! The Supreme Court Justices must do what the Constitution says! They cannot make decisions up out of the air! They cannot make laws! The Constitution is not a living, breathing document; it is a solid and stable foundation of our republic! The nation is returning to the honoring of the Constitution’s stability! The Supreme Court is shifting! The Supreme Court is shifting! The Supreme Court is shifting! Thank you, Jesus! So be it! Today’s decree: Judges who honor the Lord and the Constitution will find favor with God!

Turning the Enemy Back at the Gate I believe the walls in our nation are represented by the presidency, the Congress, and other governmental entities. The gates are the courts (See Nehemiah 6:1-2). The Lord said to me once while I was praying at the Supreme Court, “You must focus on the courts. More has happened to lead this country away from God through the Court than any other institution. You must close that gate to the forces of darkness that have infiltrated the nation.” More has been done to harm the cause of Christ and bring a culture of death, destruction, and evil through the courts than anywhere else. In biblical times, it was often at the gate of a city that a court or governmental body met. The Lord went on to say, “You must close that gate at the Supreme Court to unrighteousness, and you must open that gate to Me.” “Now when it was reported to Sanballat, Tobiah, to Geshem the Arab and to the rest of our enemies that I had rebuilt the wall, and that no breach remained in it, although at that time I had not set up the doors in the gates, then Sanballat and Geshem sent a message to me, saying, ‘Come, let us meet together at Chephirim in the plain of Ono.’ But they were planning to harm me.” (Nehemiah 6:1-2; NASB) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Ask God once again to turn the tide of the culture of death that has emanated from the Supreme Court over the last 50+ years. (We are going to highlight some of these cases over the next few weeks.) Thank the Lord for some recent rulings that are life-giving and just.  Things have started to turn! Declare that the gate at the Supreme Court is closed to further unrighteousness and national harm. Declare that the gate at the Supreme Court is open to God! Speak “life” to the gate of the Supreme Court. Turn the tide and declare it to be a place of where godliness, holiness, righteousness, truth and justice flow into the nation. A prayer you can pray: Father, turn the tide of the culture of death that has been primarily flowing from the Supreme Court’s decisions for the last 50 years. Recently, we have seen a few cases resolved in ways that bring us hope, but a lot of filth has come into America as a result of this wide-open gate of death and destruction. Thank you for the recent victories! We declare that the gate at the Supreme Court is open to You! It is closed to unrighteousness, immorality and death. We say that from it shall come rulings establishing life and that abundantly for Americans! Life, justice, truth, holiness and righteousness! We turn the enemy back at the gate! In the mighty name of Jesus, amen. Today’s decree: We declare the Supreme Court will be a gate of Life to the nation!

This is America? You can’t stand in the Supreme Court building, not even on the steps, and pray in an obvious way. You have to be all the way out on the sidewalk, if you don’t want security stopping you. You can’t stand in the Court building or on the steps and read your Bible. If you don’t stop when they ask you to, they will take you to jail. I have been in there and read scripture and made declarations, but I had to be very careful. On one occasion, the only way we could get away with it was to cluster as if we were a tourist group. We couldn’t bow our heads or close our eyes. We had to pray with our eyes open and act like we were conversing together. I was incensed as I read that scripture into the courtroom. I had to hide in that cluster of people to do it. We are not talking about making a disturbance or bothering or interrupting a person or the Court’s proceedings. I still had to hide to read a scripture into the Supreme Court! That, sadly, is America today. “So Jesus called them over to him and began to speak to them in parables: ‘How can Satan drive out Satan? If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. And if Satan opposes himself and is divided, he cannot stand; his end has come. In fact, no one can enter a strong man’s house without first tying him up. Then he can plunder the strong man’s house.’” (Mark 3:23-27; NIV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Identificationally repent for the sad situation that we cannot pray openly and respectfully in or on the steps of the Supreme Court building. Announce to the Court that the atmosphere is about to change! Thank the Lord for bringing this dark situation into public view, so it can be exposed and dealt with. Turn toward the Supreme Court from wherever you are in the nation. Find scriptures and pray them that direction, as if you are shooting arrows that way. “See” them hit the mark! Get The Battle for America. Listen and pray through it. A prayer you can pray: Lord, this is America, the land of the free and the brave. How is it that the strongman at the Court has so terrorized us? Who is this spirit and what is this political motivation that keeps the Court prayerless? We say, “Enough!” Lord, forgive our nation for determining that our  highest court is fine without prayer. Forgive us for tolerating the ousting of intercessors from this head of our judicial system! We will not live in fear any longer. We honor our authorities, but our First Amendment rights are being trampled on at the institution meant to uphold those rights! Thank you for bringing this into the light, so it can be dealt with! Give me specific scriptures to declare and decree to the Court.  I will believe they will hit their mark and the strongman at the Court will be uprooted. Thank you for teaching us and training us how to governmentally intercede, Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ powerful name, amen. Today’s decree: Americans will soon be able to pray freely at the Supreme Court!

Where the Strongman Lives Years ago, a wonderful intercessor who gave her life to pray full time for Washington, D.C., led me on a number of prayer journeys there. She was a strong and gracious lady and knew many of the Congressmen and women, who highly trusted her. She was very tuned-in to the things of the spirit there. After one of these prayer journeys, she said, “Now, I’m going to take you to where the strongman lives.” The “strongman” is spoken of in Mark 3:23-27 and Matthew 12:29. This is referencing a demonic force that rules in any particular situation. I knew where we were going—we headed to the Supreme Court. She said, “The strongest ruling spirit over America is headquartered here in this building.” I believed it and still do. “How can anyone enter the strongman’s house and carry off his property unless he first binds the strongman. Then, he will plunder his house.”(Matthew 12:29; NASB) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Did you know that if you are caught praying in the Supreme Court building, you can be removed by the security officers there? You can even be arrested. Declare that God will be honored in the Supreme Court and that prayer will be welcomed there. Press in for the strongman of God-lessness and humanism to be uprooted. Nothing says that a Supreme Court Justice cannot be open about their faith. We can certainly see their political bent! Cry out for any Justices that know and love God to be open about God’s influence in their lives and decisions. Pray that every believing clerk and staff member working behind the scenes makes intercession for Court decisions a key part of their day. Intercede for these we often don’t ever think about. Ask God to raise up an ongoing intercessory prayer group for those that work there, so the darkness and God-lessness will be driven out. A prayer you can pray: Father, the Supreme Court does not belong to the enemy. It belongs to the people of the United States of America. It is not meant to be a place of dark, man-inspired decisions, where judges make laws rooted in their political philosophies. It is meant to be a place where constitutional truth and justice is found. Jesus, You are the source of justice. You are Truth. I say that You, Judge of the whole Earth, will be welcomed in the highest Court of the land. No longer will Your people be driven out for humbly seeking You in that place. The strongman of God-lessness and humanism will be uprooted. Those justices that know You will feel free to pray and say they do. They will be free to state that the basis of their decision has come from seeking Your wisdom, as they examine the tenets of the Constitution, and they will not be mocked. Staff and clerks will feel free to meet together to intercede over each day’s procedures and tasks. They will bathe that  building and all its important activities in prayer! Their prayers will drive out the darkness and loose the Court from the strongman that holds our justice system in its grips. In the name of Jesus, amen. Today’s decree: Let the Glory of God fill the Supreme Court!
