Restoring Religious Freedom “I remember an America where God was honored in everything we did. We honored Him in school where we asked His blessing on our day with a brief prayer. We honored Him from our courtrooms to our sporting events. Most every formal institution began proceedings by calling on the Name of the Lord our God, His wisdom, His mercy, His care, and His justice. We humbly asked Him for His Divine intervention in our affairs and decisions. Where has that America gone? Slowly, ever so slowly, we have become more secularized and pushed God out of the public square. How can we think we do not need His direction? How prideful that is! “The result of our dishonoring of Him as a culture is that He is now being forcibly pushed out of even our personal businesses. Recently, even churches are under open attack. There are godless men and women who desire to see God removed from society completely! They want God relegated to our private lives within our own homes. I say, ‘Enough is enough!’ “The First Amendment guarantees freedoms concerning religion, expression, assembly, and the right to petition. It forbids Congress from both promoting one religion over others and also restricting an individual’s religious practices. It guarantees freedom of expression by prohibiting Congress from restricting the press or the rights of individuals to speak freely. It also guarantees the right of citizens to assemble peaceably and to petition their government.1 “We must pray concerning our religious freedom and our right to preach, teach, worship and observe our religious beliefs.” (Cindy Jacobs) “It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery. (Galatians 5:1; NIV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Pray we will continue to have “the right to follow the dictates of our conscience and the demands of our religious conviction” (President Trump): “So then, brethren, stand firm and hold on to the traditions which you were taught whether by word of mouth or by letter from us”. (2 Thessalonians 2:15; ESV) Pray for unity and peace: “Make every effort to keep the unity of the spirit through the bond of peace.” (Colossians 3:13-14; NIV) Pray we love one another: “Do not take revenge on others or continue to hate them, but love your neighbors as you love yourself. I am the Lord.” (Leviticus 19:18; GNT) A prayer you can pray: Lord, I remember what it was like when I was young and we could pray so much more freely in public places. Slowly, over my lifetime, that has been eroded away, until Christians are fearful to make public displays of affection to You. I’m not sure exactly how we let that happen in America, but it has become our reality. I am so thankful for people like President Trump, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Special Ambassador of Religious Freedom Sam Brownback, and a number of Christian Senators and U.S. Representatives who are working governmentally to reverse this cultural dismissal of You. I am asking that You give the Church the boldness and faith to honor You openly. I am deciding today to talk about You everywhere I go. I will worship You openly wherever I go. I’ll encourage my children (or grandchildren) to take their Bibles to school and read them there. I commit to talk to my children about You as we go about our day. I will not hesitate to pray publicly. I will even learn to write my elected representatives and tell them how I feel about the legislation they are supporting. If many Believers do these things, we will honor You as the Lord of our nation once again! Stir us up, Jesus! We welcome You into the public square once again. Amen. Today’s decree: God, we welcome You and honor You in the public square in this nation! Learn more about Cindy Jacobs here. 1. Practical and Effective Spiritual Warfare Strategies There is a whole lot of warfare going on out there. Anyone besides me notice that? Well, I went looking for a good source on basic spiritual warfare and found this information by Australian prophet Helen Calder. I think these points will help us to pray effectively: “Our primary focus in prayer should always be on what Father’s intention is, and what Heaven is doing, rather than what the demonic realm is doing. There will be times, however, when the Holy Spirit reveals a major stronghold or principality over the area, region or nation that we are praying for—or when spiritual warfare is clearly evident. [Points are paraphrased] “Seek God for His spiritual instruction.” In the Bible, there was no set formula for winning a battle. The leaders had to seek God and listen for His unique instructions for that particular battle. Overcoming begins with intimacy with God. “Identify the enemy and Father’s intended destiny.” As we seek the Lord, he will reveal specific insights as to what is happening in the spiritual realm. Ultimately, the enemy is after the destruction of the souls of men. When we see from the perspective of the cross, we can see past demonic strongholds to the Father’s intention and destiny for individuals and nations. “Release the power of praise.” Praise is a powerful spiritual weapon that puts our focus on Almighty God, where it should be. In 2 Chronicles 2:20, the enemy was supernaturally routed when King Jehoshaphat sent praisers out ahead of his army. This is repeated in the book of Acts when Paul and Silas praised from a jail cell. The power of God shook the dungeon, opened doors, and loosed them to continue to advance the Gospel. “Move in the opposite spirit.”  A principality over a region fortifies its position by obtaining agreement, and therefore power. This can come through words of media, political decisions, a poverty mindset, and other such things that create and reinforce strongholds. The Holy Spirit wants to shine His light in the darkness, and have His people move in an opposite spirit to begin to dismantle the stronghold. Then, the Kingdom of God can advance in that region. “Declare the Father’s intentions.” Jesus said, ‘Truly I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.’ (Matthew 18:18; NIV) This is not an indiscriminate thing we do, but an invitation to see what heaven is doing and to participate in God’s government. Power to overcome the enemy is released when we speak, pray, and prophesy in agreement with the Father’s intention for a region or nation. “Vigorously preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ!” “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” (Ephesians 6:12-13; NKJV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Choose something you are concerned about that is going on in the governmental realm in our nation. It could be the impeachment process, or witchcraft targeting the president. It could be any issue at all. Apply the principles above. Go through them one at a time and let the Holy Spirit take you to a new level of intercession and new victories in spiritual warfare. A prayer you can pray: Father, we need to learn to up our spiritual warfare game! We are not making enough headway, so we humble ourselves and ask You to teach us to pray. The enemy is causing confusion and division and other demonic things. He is attempting to set up spiritual strongholds that could become permanent, if we don’t get engaged in the battle now. So, teach us to war in the spiritual realm. Over that thing that you have placed on my heart to war against, I seek You for Your thoughts on the matter. I worship You and remind myself of who You are. Help me to see it from Your spiritual advantage. You are far above it. Show me how Your enemy is operating so I can work with You to stop him from gaining any more ground. We need to work together to take the stronghold down. I will praise You, Jesus. I will praise You when I don’t feel like it. Instead of anger or angst, let there be praise on my lips. I repent of grabbing hold of media’s negative words and opinions. I repent of getting on the bandwagon of public opinion, instead of seeking Your way. Your ways are usually the exact opposite of what the world’s going on and on about. I want to be aligned with You and Your thoughts, Your words, and Your actions. I want to declare and decree Your intentions! I want to spread Your Gospel message everywhere I go, whatever I am doing. I want to see Your Kingdom advanced in the United States of America in Jesus’ name, amen. Today’s decree: We will employ the spiritual warfare strategies of the Lord and we will prevail! The Church is Waking Up No matter what you see around you, you need to remember one thing—America will be saved. No matter what you see when you watch the news, remember this one thing— America will be saved. It doesn’t matter how much evil, how much hatred, all the division, all of the lies, and all of the sinful, awful things that are flowing in this nation right now. Remember, God is behind the exposing of the evil and America will be saved. We are entering an era where we are going to have the opportunity to fully reveal Jesus to planet Earth. The Body of Christ is getting bold. It took a while. It has had to get pretty dark out there. We have had to see some pretty awful stuff happen in America. Morality has had to fall a long way, but now the Church is waking up! Pastors are realizing they had better speak up or they could lose their freedom to minister the pure Gospel. Parents see they had better say something if their kids are in public schools. Believers can see they had better get to the ballot box. We are saying more in the public square. It just has to be said! We must make Christ known. We must make Christ in us known. We must live the Gospel. We must act on His Word if we want to expand His kingdom in our nation. “Let your kingdom come. Let your will be done on earth as it is done in heaven.” (Matthew 6:10; GWT) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Christians often look to their pastors for leadership in how to navigate complex societal and moral situations. In fact, they should. Intercede for the pastors of America to speak up and lead the way! Say, “This nation will rediscover its Judeo-Christian heritage and we shall be known as a Christian nation once again.” Declare, “What the enemy, the devil, meant for evil, God is turning it for good! Its result shall be that America will be saved!” Pray for Christians to unite under the banner of the cross of Christ, and move out boldly in prayer and action in Kingdom authority. It is time. A prayer you can pray: Father, we pray for the pastors of this nation. We need the pulpits of this nation to thunder truth! Let Your truth go forth from the pulpits and go forth to accomplish Your will in the land through the congregants who hear it. As we begin to take back what the devil has stolen, and we return this nation back to its Judeo-Christian ethos in which it was established, we declare, “It shall happen. It will take place. Our eyes will see it. We will behold the Glory over this nation. We will be one nation; a Christian nation.” We declare it. We decree it. America will be a Christian nation. We are one nation under God. We are a nation in whom God we trust. We are that nation which is like a city on a hill that will not be hidden. The Gospel will go forth from our shores. An awakening is manifesting in this hour. We release it. Let it flow. Lord, we raise our voices now. Give the Church Your prophetic voice in this new era. Amen. Today’s decree: The Church will find its voice and take action, and America will be saved!

New Wine is for New Wineskins God is about to do a very intense reworking of wineskins, both individual and corporate. I had the Lord tell me one time, “You are in danger of becoming a wise old wineskin.” That terrified me, but it also fascinated me theologically. I was interested in why he would use a phrase like “old wineskin” and combine it with “wise”. He showed me that one can be wise on yesterday’s revelation. Wisdom is yesterday’s revelation that has been transformed into understanding. You must always be adding today’s revelation to yesterday’s revelation in order to function in “wisdom and revelation”. So many people are defined by what God did yesterday, and what God said yesterday. In this season, you cannot be defined by what God did or said yesterday. You can be influenced by it. You have to apply the understanding that He gave you in the past to what He’s doing today. But, you cannot get stuck in what He said yesterday or did yesterday. If you do, you are now an old wineskin. A wineskin hardens through yesterday’s process of the wine fermenting. As the new wine ferments, a wineskin takes on various shapes from the gases in the fermenting process, and ultimately hardens in a particular shape. So, literally the wineskin is shaped by yesterday’s revelation, wine, outpouring. That was a good thing yesterday! However, if it hardens into that, now it can’t receive new wine. The new wine will break the old skin and you will lose the wine and the wineskin. To reuse an old wineskin, it has to go through a new process of soaking in water and oil until it is flexible again. Then, it is called a fresh wineskin. It held yesterday’s wine and can now hold today’s wine. There is about to be an outpouring of fresh, new wine. You must allow the Holy Spirit to refresh your wineskin or you won’t be able to hold the new wine. He won’t even bother pouring it in you, because He is merciful and it will break the skin, and both the wine and the skin will be lost. He doesn’t want that to happen, so he will just let that individual or congregation just be old. “No one sews a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment. If he does, the patch tears away from it, the new from the old, and a worse tear is made. And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. If he does, the wine will burst the skins—and the wine is destroyed, and so are the skins. But new wine is for fresh wineskins.” (Mark 2:21-22; ESV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Talk to the Lord about this new wine being poured out, and the need for new and refreshed wineskins to pour it into. Examine yourself. Are you in danger of becoming a wise old wineskin? Are you stuck in old ways of thinking or patterns of worship? Is your church or congregation or denomination holding onto a theology that has been debunked, but it’s what that organization adheres to no matter what? You might want to let God renew you. Call in the new! Call for the water and the oil and the wine of renewal! Get ready to be reshaped and re-formed for the new outpouring of God! A prayer you can pray: God You want to renew old wineskins, because You are coming with fresh, new wine. You’re coming with suddenlies and acceleration, refreshing and revelation. You are coming with a new release of power. New gifts are going to be handed out, and gifts are going to be intensified. You are going to be doing new things and You need fresh, flexible wineskins to hold the new wine. You need people that can hear what Your Holy Spirit is saying today, not just yesterday. We need to move on what You are saying today, not just what You said yesterday. You want us to hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church now, not just 10 or 20 or 40 years ago. We’ll hold onto the wisdom from that, but we don’t want to get stuck back there. Our individual wineskins must be made flexible, but You are also going to do some miraculous things with our corporate ones. You are about to take some whole congregations and even whole organizations and put us through a renewing process. We’ll see those that we think are old and dried up, but they are going to come into a fresh Word for today. It’s going to prepare the group for what You are doing. Some are going to break out of old traditions and old methods. Even some old theology that wasn’t quite right that we have held onto in some streams is going to be adjusted by Your Spirit. We have thought that some of our movements could never be used again. We are going to see those old, seemingly dead, movements change in ways that are even more dramatic than what took place in the Charismatic movement. If we don’t think we need any of that, then draw us to repentance, Jesus. Holy Spirit break us out of our boxes, reshape us, re-form us, and set us free to be filled anew with You. Amen. Today’s decree: God is reworking the Church’s wineskins to prepare us for His fresh, new wine!

The King is Coming to Demonstrate His Kingdom God is about to accelerate things in the nations. He’s about to accelerate the knowledge of God and the expansion of the Kingdom of God around the world. The Kingdom of God is going to manifest on planet earth. The Gospel of the Kingdom is going to be preached, as opposed to just a Gospel of Salvation. We have taken what Jesus called the Gospel of the Kingdom and made it the Gospel of Salvation, but salvation is just the entry point into the Kingdom. The Good News is not just our salvation. That limits it to the individual and personal benefits. He calls it the Gospel of the Kingdom, which is the rule of the King. He also said He had come to announce the Good News, that the King of the Kingdom had come. So now, the King is coming with a demonstration of His Kingdom authority and rule in the earth. It’s not just going to affect the one. It is going to affect cultures and nations. It’s not just going to affect Sunday morning, but the whole rest of the week. It’s not going to just affect the local church, it’s going to affect all of society, because the Kingdom is everywhere and the Kingdom is all the time. The Kingdom is power and it is demonstrated in power. So, the Kingdom is going to be preached and He’s going to back up the message with Kingdom signs, Kingdom wonders, Kingdom demonstrations of power, and it’s going to rock the nations! “And he went throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction among the people.” (Matthew 4:23; ESV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Thank the Lord for His victory on the cross and His resurrection from the dead. That is the entry point into His Kingdom. Intercede for the Church to understand what it means to be His Ekklesia, His legislative body on the earth. Do a Bible study on the manifestations of the Kingdom, then pray for the Kingdom to manifest through the Church. Declare that the Kingdom message with signs and wonders following will go out through the Body of Christ across the nation and across the earth, wherever He sends us. A prayer you can pray: Lord, we thank You that our victory is in the cross and the resurrection. We pray over the Church right now that the Great Awakening would reach a new level of intensity in Your people. We pray that the Spirit of wisdom and revelation would go to a new level in the church. We pray that the Ekklesia will arise and understand that they are the government of God in the earth. They are those that bind and loose. They are those with keys to the Kingdom. They are those that the gates of hell cannot prevail against. Your mighty power, Your eternal nature, is coming into view. Salvations will occur, yes! But, we are going to realize that that is just the beginning for a new soul coming into the Kingdom. You are going to manifest Your Presence in and through us, both in the newly born again and in mature Believers. You are going to mantle us with the miraculous. We are going to go everywhere You send us. We are going to manifest Your Kingdom everywhere we go. We are going to impact and shift culture, not just win souls. This nation will be impacted! The whole earth will be impacted! This is a global move of God that is coming. Let Kingdom authority be manifest now! Let Kingdom rule affect the Church and our culture. Lord, you are hearing us and watching us. You are giving us Your plans and strategies and You will show us where to release those decrees and release those miracles. Come, King Jesus! We welcome You into our lives and into our churches and into our culture. Impact America and all the rest of the world with the Kingdom of God manifested in the earth. Amen. Today’s decree: The Gospel of the Kingdom will be made manifest in this nation and in the whole earth now!

A Lesson From the Brownsville Revival Many of you are familiar with the Brownsville Revival, which happened under John Kilpatrick near Pensacola, Florida, in 1995. John had been crying out for revival, but he had no idea it was about to break out. The Sunday it broke out, he was so tired and frustrated that he had asked Steve Hill to preach for him that day. He just didn’t want to do it. It happened to be Father’s Day. Steve had just been touched by the move of God that had been taking place in England. So, at the end of his message, he said, “Anybody who wants this, just come up here and get it.” About 500 people came forward to get prayed for and it made John irritated. It was Father’s Day and, like everybody else, he wanted to go eat lunch. Thinking like a typical pastor, he thought, “Great, Steve. Now we’re messing with the nursery workers and the classrooms. This is not the day to have two hours of prayer at the altars.” In his frustrated and irritated state, the Lord slammed John to the floor while He ministered to everybody else. John didn’t get off the floor until 6 P.M. I’m telling you this for a reason, and you need to listen to me. We are moving into a season where those kinds of things are going to start happening. He is about to interrupt some of your schedules and some of your plans. He’s going to rip you right out of your comfort zone and move you into a place that’s going to stretch you big time. You’re just going to need to put the calendar away. Your Daytimer’s going to be worthless for a while. This is a good thing, but it’s going to stretch us. Some of you think you’re ready for this and some of you are not ready at all for what God’s about to do. “Then Hezekiah and all the people rejoiced over what God had prepared for the people, because the thing came about suddenly.” (2 Chronicles 29:36; NIV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Acknowledge that the Lord is about to show up in a season of suddenlies. Ask the Lord to make you ready for the suddenly season of the Lord. Get ready to tuck in close to Him. Make yourself as close as you can be to His heartbeat, His Presence. Intercede for the Body of Christ. Prophesy, “Make yourself ready, Church! God is about to suddenly come upon us, even as He did on the Day of Pentecost! Don’t be caught unaware like the ten virgins with no oil in their lamps.” Say, “God is coming to fan the flames of Awakening in the land. He will expose darkness from the individual life to His congregations to those sitting in government office buildings in Washington, D.C.” Together with the Spirit and the Bride, say, “Come, Lord Jesus. Come.” A prayer you can pray: Lord, we do not want to be caught unaware when You suddenly show up! We are not just talking about in our church services. You are about to move in unprecedented measure in the earth! You are going to BE God! You aren’t going to wait for permission. In fact, You are just going to sideline anyone who tries to get in Your way. Just like you did with John Kilpatrick, You are going to lay them out and keep on going. Well, we want to be positioned to ride this move of the Spirit like a surfer rides a wave. We want to watch and pray like the 10 virgins with our lamps filled with oil, waiting through the night. Show us how to get ready! We will warn others, “God is coming!” We will intercede for the Body of Christ that is unaware of this season that has come upon us. We will pray that they are ready when the time comes. We are expectant over the shifts that will occur across the land and even in our government. “God it coming!” God is coming and no-one can stop Him. He is our Savior, Deliverer, Redeemer, and Lord. He will reign as God over America, even if almost all of America has decided they don’t want Him or need Him. They are about to see that they really do. Come, Lord Jesus. Come. Do not delay! Amen. Today’s decree: “We will watch for the suddenlies of God! Suddenly Awakening! Suddenly breakthrough! Sudden shifts! Suddenlies in government!

Moving Quickly With Him Moses had been away from Eqypt for 40 years, then God said, “Go!” Joseph was in prison and he waited and waited and waited. Then, a shift occurred and God said, “Now, you’ve come into your time.” We have come into an appointed time. We’re coming into a time like when God pulled David out of the cave and said, “Now, you go and become King.” We are in a season of great and sudden shifts, and things will accelerate quickly. You cannot get bogged down in this season. You cannot be inflexible. You have to be willing to move quickly. God is about to do some things quickly and if you’re not ready to move with Him, you’re going to be playing catch up. You do not want to be doing that in this season. You want to stay in step with Him. You want to be fluid. You want to move easily. When He says, “This way,” you want to go now. You don’t want to have to think about it too long and hard. In fact, you don’t get to think about whether or not you are going to do it. When He says it, you just have to do it. You can think about it as you move. “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.” (John 10:27; ESV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Think about how many suddenly transformations there are in the Bible stories you are familiar with. Check your heart. Is there anything You would not do for Jesus? Is there anywhere you would not go, if He told you to go? Is there anything you would not lay down to be in the center of His will? Have you “decorated your prison cell?” In other words, have you grown comfortable in the mundaneness of your life? Talk to the Lord about that. Is there something He has been prompting you to do that you have been resistant to? Repent quickly. Prophecy into this season of suddenlies. Prophesy over yourself, your spouse, if you have one, your family, your city, and this nation. Prophesy the coming suddenly shifts of God. A prayer you can pray: Lord, it’s interesting to think about the stories in the Bible in a new way. I am not seeing them as life lessons so much today, but as a pattern. You often move people quickly after long seasons of seeming inactivity. Sometimes, it seems as though You have forgotten them, then, suddenly, You are telling them specifically what to do or where to go. You open doors and lives are changed. You take people from rags to riches, from the bottom to the top, from hiddenness and forgottenness to notoriety. You even heal suddenly, opening blind eyes or healing physical infirmities after long seasons of no change at all. This can be despite much prayer for many years. Suddenly, the healing comes and a life is changed. Leaders seem to emerge out of nowhere, but they have come from long training seasons behind the scenes. Check my heart, Jesus. Where am I unready to shift quickly? Where am I comfortable in the mundane? What would I not give up? Where would I be hesitant to go? You are my Lord and I want to follow You wherever and whenever You call me to. Let’s get me ready and positioned for the suddenly season. Remind me if You have already said to shift and I haven’t wanted to or haven’t had the faith to. I will actively wait patiently and expectantly for whatever is next. I will prophesy into it. [Prophesy and make the decrees the Holy Spirit gives you: over yourself, your spouse, if you have one, your family, your city, and this nation. Prophesy the coming suddenly shifts of God.] Amen. Today’s decree: We, His sheep, are ready to follow Him quickly in this season of kingdom positioning!

The Hinge Year I think this next year is going to be one of the most strategic years of our lives. I think we are going to need to go through this next year with sobriety. We are going to need to be very alert. We are going to need to be sober and watching and listening, because this is the year that will shape our future in many ways. I believe historians will write about this year and say, “This was the hinge year.” So, over the next few days I am going to share with you what I believe the Lord is saying about this next year. I believe Amos 9:13-15 is the message for this year. In fact, I really like it in the Message version where it says that things are going to happen so fast we won’t be able to keep up. It says good things will be happening all at once. All kinds of blessings are coming! This is the season we are moving into. We are moving into a season of acceleration and great celebration. Daniel 2:20-22 says, “Let the name of God be blessed forever and ever, for wisdom and power belong to Him. It is He who changes the times and the epochs; He removes kings and establishes kings; He gives wisdom to wise men and knowledge to men of understanding. It is He who reveals the profound and hidden things; He knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with Him.” Sometimes it seems like things move very, very slowly, but preparation stages are often slow. Chronos seasons can become mundane and it can seem like we are stuck. We are not. The routine season actually prepares us for the suddenlies and the season of acceleration. We are now moving into one of those periods of great acceleration. “‘Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.’ God’s Decree. ‘Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills. I’ll make everything right again for my people Israel.’” (Amos 9:13-15; MSG) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Get up and shout and praise Him. We have entered a season of celebration! Brush off, shake off, or throw off anything of the old season that would hold you back. Get rid of it. Complacency, tiredness, feeling downtrodden or beaten down, sickness, weakness, fear, lack, tell it all to go! Determine not to let anything hinder your movement forward now. Know what your assignment for the season is. You may have lost sight of some things in the slow, mundane time we have just come through. Ask God to help you make His vision for your life plain. Write it down and believe Him for it. Be sober-minded and exact in this. Get Daniel 2:20-22 deep in your spirit for this next year. It says, “Let the name of God be blessed forever and ever, for wisdom and power belong to Him. It is He who changes the times and the epochs; He removes kings and establishes kings; He gives wisdom to wise men and knowledge to men of understanding. It is He who reveals the profound and hidden things; He knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with Him.” You will work with Him in the next season to establish some currently strategically hidden things. Get ready for Him to reveal these things to you. A prayer you can pray: God, You are my God! You are holy and mighty, loving and just, merciful and worthy of all of my praise! I will praise You in the morning, at noon, and at night. I will praise you alone, with my family, and in the midst of the congregation, I will praise you in the hidden places and praise you on the streets. The Name of the Lord is to be praised and I won’t let another praise You in my place! You have changed the season! It is a season of celebration! It is a season of acceleration. Lord, the last season felt like drudgery at times. Oh, the Church did some things in You and said some things for You, but nothing like it is about to! I want to be fully ready, so I shake off complacency, tiredness, weariness, doubt, limitation, and lack. No more, Lord, no more will I allow the enemy to beat me down and make me think this time is never coming. The season has arrived! Let the name of God be blessed forever and ever, for wisdom and power belong to You. It is You who changes the times and the seasons; You remove kings and establish kings; You give wisdom to wise men and knowledge to men of understanding. It is You who reveal the profound and hidden things; You know what is in the darkness, and light dwells with You. So, show me what is in Your heart for me at his time. Equip me in every way to run with You, Jesus, and advance Your Kingdom in this nation. Amen. Today’s decree: “Yes indeed, it won’t be long now! Things are about to accelerate!” (Amos 9:13; MSG)

A Word From Chuck Pierce Many of you know that Chuck Pierce and I do many prophetic conferences together and have for many years. From time to time, Chuck will give a profound prophetic Word during those meetings. These words are not always lengthy, but they are significant. Earlier this year, he addressed the ending of abortion in America and I thought you would want to see this. “My daughter-in-law called me and asked me if I had the faith for the overturning of Roe v Wade. I told her that I am not praying that way. I said that I am praying because I see something that is going to penetrate the Supreme Court from state to state to state that will cause God to awaken us to the heartbeat of the child in the womb. That’s the only way this is going to shift in America. We have to hear the heart in the womb beating and that will change the course of the law.” Since that time, Ohio, Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, and Alabama have passed Heartbeat bills. All of those bills, except for Alabama’s, have been blocked in the courts for now. Other states are working on getting their own versions passed. The basis of the Heartbeat bills is that abortions cannot be performed after a baby’s heartbeat can be detected in the womb. That can happen as early as 6 or 7 weeks gestation. Pray that the states continue to fight for the lives of our nation’s unborn children until their heartbeats are heard across this land. “‘For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,’ declares the Lord. ‘As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.’” (Isaiah 55:8-9; NIV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Ask for the Father’s heart to beat with every preborn infant’s heart. Decree, “God will rise up as a Father and Defender of the unborn!” Ask the Lord to come to the aid of our nation, even as He comes to the aid of the children in the womb. Pray Isaiah 55:8-9 over this situation. Intercede for all of the states that have passed Heartbeat bills into law, then had them challenged and blocked in federal courts. Unblock them! Pray that other states would rise up and pass heartbeat bills of their own. Compassionately intercede for healing from the effects of abortion on the women who have had them. A prayer you can pray: Father, we ask that You align Your heart with the heart in every womb. We say that once the heartbeat is heard in the womb, we will decree that You will rise up as a defender and as a father for each one of those children. Father, we loose You to come to the aid of this nation in a whole new way. You have strategies we would never think of. Your ways are higher than our ways. We pray for the Heartbeat bills that have passed into law and have been signed by respective Governors to be honored as the will of the people. Give other states the boldness to get their Heartbeat bills passed until there is a huge string of virtually identical cases headed to the Supreme Court. Save our children, Lord. Save us from the bloodbath that is abortion. Save the women from future trauma, regret and grief. Save our nation from the iniquitous act of abortion in Jesus’ name. Amen. Today’s decree: God is rising up as a Father and Defender of the unborn in America! Let the heartbeats of the babies in the womb be heard across the land!

Bold As Lions – Willaim Tyndale “William Tyndale was a passionate Christian, a watchman, a scholar, an ordained priest, and he was educated at Oxford. He saw firsthand the universal corruption within the Roman Catholic Church (of that day.) The Pope and his bishops believed they were incapable of error in all spiritual matters. For William, the infallible, inerrant Word of God, the Holy Bible, was this reformer’s final authority. “The spiritual climate of his nation was sterile and barren. The Roman Catholic Church went to extreme measures to prevent the ordinary common people from having any independent understanding of the Bible. In direct defiance of the Pope’s law, William laid a foundation of the New Testament from the original Greek. The translation was far different from the Roman Catholic Church’s Latin Vulgate version. His resistance to the Pope marked him as going rogue and unleashed the full wrath and rage of the Papacy. He was hunted down much like David fleeing from the demonized fury of King Saul. “William knew it was illegal to translate the Bible into English, the language of the common person. But after seeing people wander aimlessly without truth, after talking with priests who knew very little of the Bible themselves, William went about making copies of his version…and getting the Word out to as many people as possible. This was his passion and Divine assignment. His dream and mission, if successful, was that the boy plowing the fields, who owned a Bible, would know more than the priests of the time. William was no criminal. He was a faithful pioneer, a reformer, a messenger of hope and deliverance, who dreamed of his generation and generations yet to come to encounter Jesus in the life-giving Word of God.” (Brian Gibbs) “Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that each person who belongs to God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17; WEB) “‘Look! The days are coming,’ declares the Lord GOD, ‘when I will send a famine throughout the land— not a famine of food or a thirst for water— but rather a famine of hearing the words of the Lord.’” (Amos 8:11; ISV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Ask the Lord to give you the passion for the Bible that William Tyndale had. Talk to the Lord about your specific relationship with His Word. Do you read it, lean on it, rely on it, trust it, live by it? Or, has it become common to you? Do you take it for granted? Commit to take the Bible more seriously in the future, learning to use it to learn of Him. Look for passages to war with over your circumstances, family, city, state, and nation. Consider Jesus, the Living Word of God, the author and finisher of your faith, Savior of the world. A prayer you can pray: God, it is incredible to hear how someone like William Tyndale would literally lay their life down for the sake of the written Gospel. In his case, he lived and died for the Word of God written in English, the language of the people in his community in his day. While many of us take Your Word for granted and hardly read it today, it was the most precious commodity of his life. Give us that level of passion for the Word of the Lord. Make us fear Amos 8:11 lest it become our permanent condition. If men like Tyndale laid their lives down so we common people could read the Bible, what are we thinking to treat it so lightly today? Is it because Bibles are everywhere, even on our electronic devices? Is it because we think we have read it so much, we don’t need its fresh revelation daily? Do we think we know You so well that there is nothing more we can learn of You from its wonderful pages? Lord, forgive us! Let us treasure it, share it, read it, study it, and incorporate its words in our everyday lives. Let Your Word come alive to us in a fresh and new way. Let it be declared and decreed from our lips and may our tongues worship You with it as long as we have breath. Living Word of God, Jesus, let Your Word be that sword that we use to shift our circumstances, our families, our cities, states, and nation. Let our hearts agree with its contents so much so that we are able to resist temptations and withstand the spirit of this age. God, thank You for the Bible, the inerrant Word. Thank You for revealing Yourself to us as we read it. We are a blessed generation in a blessed nation to have such free access of it. We worship You, Jesus. Amen. Today’s decree: We have been given the blueprint for life-saving, society-transforming, culture-shaping, and history-making in the Bible, God’s Holy Word! 1 Excerpted with permission from “Bold As Lions”, by Brian Gibbs.

Bold As Lions – Francis Asbury “In studying revival history, you will find that Francis Asbury is considered the father of the American ‘circuit riders’ who helped shape our Christian culture. The circuit riders were the powerhouse itinerant preachers on horseback that carried the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the wilderness terrain of America’s colonies. “Inside the saddlebags of Asbury and the circuit riders, you would find not only their Bible, their hand-written sermons and hymnals, but you would also find the petitions and legal forms for the freeing of slaves. For the circuit riders, being a revivalist and abolitionist was one and the same. It was no contradiction for them to approach both church and state issues openly with the life giving power of the Gospel. They were not afraid to engage the cultural fight for true liberty and biblical justice. “Just as slavery had to be condemned and banished, there must be a moral outcry (today) against inhumane and repulsive murder of innocent children. My prayer is that in our lifetime we will see abortion abolished and the curse of innocent bloodshed reversed from our nation. I believe that God desires to raise up modern-day revivalists and abolitionists who will burn with the same fervor and convictions as Asbury.” (Brian Gibbs) “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” (Luke 4:18-19; NASB) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Say, “Lord, give me a heart for revival and biblical justice like Francis Asbury and the circuit riders had!” Proclaim, Luke 4:18 and 19, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” Make a strong declaration that you stand for what God stands for and you stand against what God stands against. This includes abortion. Declare, “We will see the ending of abortion in America in my generation. I will do whatever I can to see this barbaric practice ended in the United States and anywhere our country has promoted it.” Intercede for the ending of abortion in America. Consider giving an offering to an anti-abortion ministry like Save the Storks, National Right to Life, LifeSite News, etc. You may even decide to volunteer for a life center in your city. A prayer you can pray: Lord, give me a heart for revival and biblical justice like Francis Asbury and the circuit riders had! Help me not to seek comfort and peace, but rather to fight for true liberty and biblical justice. There is a new “justice movement” rising in this nation. It is a movement You have stirred up among Your followers. Those who love You are finding it impossible to say nothing or do nothing about the millions of babies being lost to abortion each year in America. Even worse, our country has been promoting it and funding it among developing nations until recently. God, extend mercy and reverse any curse this has brought on America. Lord, I say, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” I desire to actively engage in this battle until abortion is eradicated from this land. Save the mothers. Save the babies. Convict the doctors and administrators and other supporters of this heinous act. Cut off funding completely from the abortionists. Let funds flow to life centers, instead, so moms-to-be and new moms and dads can be supported in the raising of their children. I bless Christian adoption agencies and pray adoption becomes very attractive to this generation of potential young parents. I will put my money and my time, as well as my prayers and words on the line until I see the ending of abortion in America, Jesus. Amen. Today’s decree: Let the modern-day revivalists and abolitionists rise up and erradicate abortion from America! 1 Excerpted with permission from “Bold As Lions”, by Brian Gibbs.

Bold As Lions – Dietrich Bonhoeffer “My life has been deeply impacted through the courageous faith of this man (Dietrich Bonhoeffer). I like to think that he and I would have been great friends in life. When I think of Bonhoeffer, I can’t help but think of unstoppable courage—he was truly bold as a lion. “Dietrich was one of the first Germans to oppose Adolph Hitler during his rise to power, and to openly support the Jewish people. Instead of cowering down and bowing to the Nazis, he stood virtually alone in calling for the church’s resistance to the persecution of Jews. “Bonhoeffer, along with Martin Niemoller and Karl Barth, did all they could to rally support in the Confessing Church movement against the Nazis. As you can imagine, it made them a sure target for the Gestapo. The intensity of Nazi suppression grew stronger against the Confessing Church and also led to Dietrich’s authroization to teach being revoked in 1936. Ultimately, it led to his death. Even as the intimidation and threats of the Gestapo grew worse, it did not stop him from taking necessary risks to voice his convictions. He would often quote Proverbs 31:8, ‘Who will speak up for those who are voiceless?’ It was his burning passion that had to voice defending the Jews in Nazi Germany.” (Brian Gibbs) “Who will rise up against the wicked? Who will take a stand for me against evildoers?” (Psalm 94:16; NIV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Literally, stand up you are willing to take a stand against evil in America as Dietrich Bonhoeffer and his friends did. Ask God to give you a heart like He gave Dietrich Bonhoeffer—a heart as bold as a lion’s. Anti-semitism, other racism, abortion, homosexuality and gender confusion, and the promotion of other sinful practices, are enemies of the cross of Christ in this nation today. Don’t confuse the sin (promotion of sinful activities and thought processes) with the sinner. We must love the lost to Christ, but we must lovingly separate the sin from the penitent one. Stand in the gap and intercede between what is and ought to be in America. Let God give you His heart and passion for at least one of these issues tearing apart our nation and holding the lost in bondage. Open your mouth and decree His decrees against wickedness in America. Declare that the promoters of wickedness will become silent before the righteous. A prayer you can pray: Father, as I stand before You today, give me a heart filled with the boldness and courage you gave Dietrich Boenhoffer and his friends. They stood against a terrifying enemy in their day in the form of the Nazi Gestapo. They had the power to remove him from his job, his livelihood, as well as to ultimately take his life. He didn’t care. He knew what he had to do as a Christian. He was compelled by his love for You to stand up for the Jewish people, even though it meant earthly losses. He knew he had to speak up for the voiceless. Forgive me my fear of loss. Forgive me for desiring comfort above all else. Make me unafraid. If God is for me, who can be against me? If I don’t stand up for those oppressed and attacked for their faith today, what will become of this country? If I don’t take a verbal and active stand for the voiceless, the unborn, will our nation ever turn toward righteousness? I take a stand against the wickedness seeping quickly through the cracks in our nation’s foundations. Sinful things that once were hidden in darkness are now shouted as acceptable, but their way leads to spiritual death. I can’t keep silent and watch my nation embrace the road to hell. I decree that America will find its way back to You in massive outpourings of awakening. The lost will turn from their wickedness and publicly repent of the error of their ways. Turn us, Lord, turn us. Shut the mouths of the accuser of the brethren and let righteousness reign in America. We honor and exalt You, Jesus. Amen. Today’s decree: We, the Confessing Church in America, will speak up for the voiceless before God and before man! 1 Excerpted with permission from “Bold As Lions”, by Brian Gibbs.
