A Year to Need the Word and Faith “The Lord placed a demand on me many years ago to memorize as much of the Word as I could. He wanted me to be able to ‘read’ it without opening it. You may not have that same call. If you don’t, then just get what He wants you to have. For my brother, Keith, it was ‘Set your face like a flint.’ With just that one verse God could get him where he needed to be. When God gives you that piece He wants you to have, get it so deep in you that the enemy can’t pull it out. “Freedom is a result of what you speak. If you want breakthrough, you are going to need to have the faith to speak the Word of God into your situation. This decade is about our voice determining our future. It is linked with coming face-to-face. You are going to come to some face-to-face moments and it’s out of the choice you make in that face-to-face moment that your future is determined. “This is something to understand about faith. Faith is a response we have toward an object. It is linked with time and place. For example, how we respond in worship can cause our faith to come into a new dimension. Faith isn’t something you are looking for ‘out there’. It is something that comes at a certain place at a certain time and you are making a conscious choice toward the object of your faith—the God of this universe. “God chose Moses. I love the verse in Hebrews 11 where it says his mother had the faith to know what to do for three months. Then she had to make a shift. So Moses’ mother had faith for three months, then she knew she had to make a decision. She knew she had to have a different faith to release him and put him in the river. He ended up in Pharaoh’s court.” (Chuck Pierce) “By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden three months by his parents, because they saw he was a beautiful child; and they were not afraid of the king’s command… By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible.” (Hebrews 3:23 and 27; NKJV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Fix your eyes on Jesus for a few moments. He is your ultimate goal, the object of your affection. What are the scriptures God has given you as “life verses” that help you find Him or find your way forward? If you don’t have at least one, get it from Him right now. Pray for a greater measure of faith to partner with your Word, so that your decrees and declarations of His Word are more effective. Have you walked in faith, but have now become aware that you are at a point where a shift is needed? Maybe you have gone as far as you can in one direction and need to shift, as Moses’ mother did. Ask God what His plan is now. Intercede for an overall increase in faith and knowledge of the Word for all of God’s people. A prayer you can pray: Father, I fix my eyes on You for You are the author and finisher of my faith. With You, I can make it through anything, no matter how challenging. When I think about Moses’ mother and the hard decisions she faced, I see how You came through for her. You showed her exactly what to do. You moved Moses right into the center of Your will for Him, as she listened carefully to You. When she ran out of grace for one thing, You showed her how to shift. Show me, too. Stir up the verses You have brought to life for me. Give me new ones that I’ll need for this new season. Increase my faith and mix it all together as I gaze on You, precious Lord. The world is getting more dangerous and my life circumstances have at times been dangerous, but You will put Your Word in my mouth and the breakthrough will come. I will follow You closely and carefully. Let the whole Body of Christ develop a hunger for Your Word and a desire for an intimate friendship with You. The Breakthrough Anointing is Here “We can’t back up going into this next decade. You have come too far to turn back now. Join Him in the battle. We are going to go into a spiritual battle. The Lord says, ‘Put your hands to the plow and don’t look back.’ Decree, ‘We can finish this field. We have new strength to advance.’ He is giving us a new strength to get up and decree. We are going to see with our own eyes what we have been praying for, declaring, and decreeing. You will see what He has been doing behind the scenes and how He has brought you to this place. “There is a breakthrough anointing coming down now. It is coming on the unexpected ones. You won’t even know you’ve got it until you start seeing the manifestation of it. It is going to come in worship. It will come in unexpected places. It is going to come like lightning. “I was struggling once and needed a serious breakthrough in my health. I asked the Lord why the breakthrough wasn’t coming. He said to me, ‘You would be surprised the places I can’t get through.’ I immediately thought of Nazareth. The Bible said Jesus couldn’t do many miracles there. There had to be a change in the atmosphere for that to occur. God is saying now that we have come to the breakthrough place and we have the ability to get through! You can get through the core structure that has been holding you back and holding your miracle back. It is here! Do not back up in it!” (Chuck Pierce) “He who opens the breach goes up before them; they break through and pass through the gate, going out by it. Their king passes on before them, the Lord at their head.” (Micah 2:13; ESV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Ask the Lord for a new strength to break through into a new place. Say, ‘I will put my hands to the plow and not look back. I can finish this field. I have new strength to advance.’ If it seems that the Lord cannot breakthrough for you in your circumstances, bravely ask Him if there is a reason He cannot break through there for you. Is it familiarity? Is it doubt and unbelief? Is there sin or an iniquitous structure? Don’t be afraid to let Him show you, so you can move forward together. Wait for Him to show you. Get delivered and move forward. Declare, “My miracle is here and I will see the Lord manifest it for me!” A prayer you can pray: Lord, help me to break through into a new and prosperous place. I want to walk in this season of the miraculous with You. Give me Your strength to move into it. I will put my hands to the plow and not look back. I can finish this field. I have new strength through You to advance. Jesus paid the price for me. If You are not able to break through for me, show me if there is something I can do to participate in this with You. Is there unrepentant sin? Is there a shred of doubt and unbelief? I believe! Help me in my unbelief! Have I neglected to forgive anyone? Is the atmosphere I’m in complacent or corrupt? Let’s overcome this together, Jesus. I look to You for breakthrough. I will partner together with You until it comes. My miracle is here and I will see You manifest it for me! Amen. The Rising Army of Worshippers “There is an army of worshippers rising. It is going to take many voices and many sounds of worship to make up the choir that will win the battles ahead. God is calling many into this holy choir. The song of the Lord will lead the way. The song of the Lord will win the battles. The song and the battle are going to be one. Declare the Word in song. Sing the song. Decree the Word in the song. Sing it out. Declare it loud. “The songs will bring peace in the middle of the storm. Sing out. Sing the songs out. Never stop praising in the middle of the storm. Exalt King Jesus. Let the King arise on your praises. The glory of the King will rise up as you praise. The battle will be won as you praise. Be like David. Go to war with a song on your lips and the Word in your heart. “Join the Lord and never stop worshipping Him. Never stop praising. Never stop praying. Never stop decreeing. Say it loud. Sing it loud. Pray it loud. Decree it loud. Let the voice of the Lord be heard in His people. We will not stop. Let your spontaneous song rise up to Him. Tell Him how worthy He is to receive our praises. Sing of the battles you are facing and sing a victory song over them. Call forth the praising army of the Lord. Declare that the unending praises of God’s people will rise up and create victories in this nation. Read Psalm 148:11-14 as a declaration of praise. A prayer you can pray: Lord, we will exalt Your Holy Name! We will praise You for You are worthy of our praise! We will never stop praising You. When we don’t feel like it, we will praise. When we don’t see anything, we will praise. When we don’t feel anything, we will not stop praising. We want to know You in a different way. We want to see You high and exalted on our praises. Let our songs join the songs of others. Join us into a mighty army of worshippers. Lead us forth in praise. We are going to battle with You through our praise. Let our worship win battles. Let Your praise be on our lips and let our enemies be routed. Together, we will praise. We will never stop praising! Put Your Word in our mouths as a song. Let Your Word be a sword in our mouths in the form of a song. Let us sing Your Word loud, declare it loud, and decree it loud. Let us sing and sing and sing and sing until the battles are won. The Right Time Season for the West Coast The man healed at the gate Beautiful or “The Right Time Gate” started a chain reaction of events. 5000 were saved as they saw him, or heard about him walking and leaping and praising God. He testified that He had been healed in the name of Jesus. A right time miracle had happened at the Right Time Gate. A lady had a dream she shared with me recently. She saw a statue of George Washington on a horse that was reared up. He had a musket with him and she could see that he was where cherry blossom trees were blooming. The gun George Washington was holding was pointing toward the southwest. Chuck Pierce just told me that he saw the Glory of the Lord coming to the southwest United States. Then, she saw me standing under the reared up horse and the statue of George Washington began to swivel back and forth. When it stopped, I would begin to decree. From its first position pointing to the southwest, it swiveled and he pointed to the northwest. It kept swiveling from the southwest to the northwest. And each time it stopped, I declared, “It is time!” She didn’t say it, but I knew that I was using the word for “exact right time” when I said, “It is time!” Remember that there were cherry blossoms on the trees near this statue in the dream. I believe the exact right time in the southwest and the northwest will be in March of 2020, because March is when the cherry trees blossom. I believe something very significant is coming to the west coast of this nation, even for the soul of California. Instead of being a gate of evil into the nation, I believe California can be a gate for the Glory of the Lord to enter. “Then Moses said, ‘I pray You, show me Your glory!’” (Exodus 33:18; NASB) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Ask the Lord to cause the wind of His fire and Glory over the Southwest and the West Coast of America. Call for His Glory to sweep over the entire area, all the way up to the Pacific Northwest. Say, “The winds of the Spirit will blow over the Pacific Southwest beginning in March.” Call for the fire and the glory of God over this region! Agree with the prophets for the old and new wine to flow together again in this region! Pull the anointings of the past into the now and the future. Declare, “Nothing will stop the move of Your Spirit, Lord!” A prayer you can pray: Lord, we pray that you will cause Your wind to blow over California and the West Coast. It is time for Your Spirit to blow over this area of our nation once again. Glory is coming to bring signs and wonders into this state and the entire West Coast. We say we are moving into a kairos window. As we decree Your kairos breakthrough over these next few months, there will be a tremendous breakthrough in March. We say, “The winds will blow in March.” The winds of Your Spirit will come in significant ways in March. These will not bring natural fires. These will bring spiritual fires. A wind and fire that cannot be quenched will blow through once again. It will marry the anointings of the past. We will honor the wine of the past, but we will also get the wine of today and the wine of the future. When the cherry trees blossom in Washington, D.C., we will decree and see the move of Your Spirit in the southwest. It will come in San Diego, in Albuquerque, in Tucson, and in Phoenix. Then, it will go all the way up to the northwest; to Northern California and Oregon and all the way to Washington. It will go back and forth. The nation will shake and quake all along the West Coast. Nothing will stop the move of Your Spirit in Jesus’ name. Amen. Today’s decree: The wind of God’s Spirit is about to bring His Glory to the West Coast of America!

The Era of Miracles at the Right Time Gate Happy New Year! Happy New Era! And what a new year and new era we have just stepped into! Hang onto your faith, because we are in for a pretty wild ride. Remember, as you learn to walk in the Spirit in this season of miracles, you are in the exact right place at the exact right time. God has gone ahead of you and set things up. We must simply see what He wants us to see, then act as He tells us to, and say what He says to say. His Kingdom is about to manifest in extraordinary ways. In Acts 3 there is a story of a man Peter heals. I have often wondered why Jesus walked past this particular man in need of healing. He walked past him dozens of times in his years of ministry and he didn’t heal him. This is one of the few people Jesus didn’t heal. In fact, there were times when multitudes came to Jesus to be healed. That means thousands and thousands. The Bible tells us that he healed them all. So, I wondered why he would walk by this man and not heal him. I’m sure the disciples wondered why, as well. It’s because Jesus was saving that miracle for the right time. Jesus knew the early Church would need this miracle. The whole nation knew who this guy was. Everyone had to go to Jerusalem three times a year for the feasts. This man was strategically located; sovereignly placed where he was by God. He was seated at the Beautiful Gate, otherwise translated, “The Right Time Gate”. He was in an obvious place in such a piteous condition that most of those who passed by him had probably flipped him a coin or two over the years. Then one day, Peter walked by and something was different. It was time. It was time for a miracle that would grab the attention of the entire nation. You can argue theology all you want to, but when a 47-year-old man with twisted limbs who has never walked a day in his life gets healed, it is noticed. Muscles formed, limbs straightened, joints were put together. Coordination came and it didn’t take months for him to learn to walk. He walked and leapt and was completely transformed. Thousands of people saw it. The whole city heard about it in minutes. 5,000 people got saved as he ran and leapt and praised God! The Church had entered a new era. We are in such a time as that. “Then Peter said, ‘Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.’ And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God. And all the people saw him walking and praising God. Then they knew that it was he who sat begging alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.” (Acts 3:6-10; NKJV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Rejoice, for you have entered a Right Time year in a Right Time era filled with Right Time miracles! Read Acts 3. Ask God to increase your faith. What do you need to see, so you can reach down to grab hold of so it can be miraculously straightened out? See it and command it to get up and be healed in Jesus’ name! Say, “Extraordinary miracles will result in an extraordinary harvest of souls in this era.” A prayer you can pray: Father, thank you for a miraculous New Year! It is not going to be an ordinary year. It is a Right Time year to begin a Right Time era. It’s time to reach down and “grab hold of the man at the Right Time Gate.” It’s time for Right Time miracles. It is time for miracles that are so supernatural, so profound and incredible, that they grab the attention of the masses. These will be signs and wonders such as have rarely been seen before, but now they will come in greater measure. Let one miracle multiply into thousands of salvations in a day. If it happened in Acts, Chapter 3, then it can still happen today. So many of us have seen situations that we know need God’s miraculous intervention, but we have walked by them, so to speak. We have left them and pondered what to do about them. Lord, You are saying that the hour is just ahead. We say we are ready to pull that thing up into a new form! Loose new forms and creativity! It is time for a new form. Let us not question You and Your ways. Let us simply have the faith to act when You say, “Now!” Give us that holy boldness You put in Peter that causes us to reach down and say, “In the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk!” You will straighten out many things. Physical bodies and minds will be healed, but systems and structures will be straightened out, as well. Creative Kingdom ideas and strategies will replace crooked places in this land. In the miraculous name of Jesus, we declare this is so. Amen. Today’s decree: Miracles that multiply are forming! By faith, pull them into existence!

A Window of Opportunity in a Season of Restoration A number of prophetic voices have been sending me dreams that they have been having. The main theme of these dreams is that we are moving into a season where what God is about to do is going to be contested. These things will be contested in very dramatic ways. The victories we will experience will be dynamic victories. We will win. The Great Awakening is coming. It is time. In two of the dreams, I have turned to those with me in the dream and said, “It is time.” In Acts 3, all three Greek words for time are used. It’s the only place in the New Testament where they are all used together. I want to talk today about two of those words. One is “chronos”. It is a general word for a season of time. It’s used in 3:21, “times of restoration.” The word “restoration” there, is not just “to restore”, but “to reconstitute something”. A constitution is an original intent—how it is made and how it operates. For example, our nation is supposed to operate according to our Constitution. So we go through seasons where God reconstitutes, or returns things to His original intent. He reconstitutes us to His original intent. We go from glory to glory, from faith to faith. We are changed into the image of Christ. In every chronos season, there are kairos seasons. We see this in 3:19. In every season of reconstituting, we come to a kairos. A kairos is a window of opportunity. It is not a guaranteed time, but an opportune time. We are in one now. We can break through into this new era. “Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, and that he may send the Messiah, who has been appointed for you—even Jesus. Heaven must receive him until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets.” (Acts 3:19-21; NIV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Talk to the Lord about some of those things you know are out of order in this nation. Agree with the prophets that we have come into a new era—the era of a Great Awakening. Declare that God is reconstituting this nation. He is more than restoring. He is re-forming back to His original plan. Release a new sound in agreement with that statement. See that sound go out over the land. Say, “We are going to see Your Kingdom come in the earth and in America.” Look and see the contention that has come in America to try to stop God’s plan. See that it is contending with Him! Now do you see? Stand in this opportune window and uproot it in Jesus’ Name! Declare, “Salvation is coming. The One who saves is coming. Signs and wonders are coming. Life is coming. Healing is coming. It is time!” A prayer you can pray: Father, we believe that we have reached a kairos moment in a chronos time in our nation. Some things have become so out of order. However, Your people have been praying and You have been watching for that opportune moment. You are saying it is time to reconstitute this nation. You are restoring us to Your original intent. There is a shifting coming. There is a renewal and rearranging. There is even a new sound coming that will unlock some things as we lift high the Name of Jesus. We are going to see Your Kingdom come in the earth and in America. We have repented and we have worshipped. We have acknowledged You as God over this nation. We have glorified Your Name over this land, Jesus. Now, there is going to be an uprooting. You are coming to uproot that which has contended for Your Glory in this nation. What has been contested will be reconstituted and formed the way You have planned it. It is time. Salvation is coming. The One who saves is coming. Signs and wonders are coming. Life is coming. Healing is coming. Let it be now! It is time! We will go through the window! We will decree daily until we see the time of awakening fully come. Praise You, Jesus! Amen. A Call to a National Day of Repentance NOTE: Today is the National Day of Repentance that we prepared you for yesterday. We have repeated the reason for the setting aside of this day as a day of repentance, as well as the prayer segments. Let the Holy Spirit lead you as you pray. The passage of scripture is different and we hope you will take some time to meditate on the Word prior to praying. Let it sink deep. We recommend you fast in some way and consider taking communion at some point in the day. Please have you family members join you. “After reading Dave Kubal’s article, There was a Spiritual Quid Pro Quo, my heart was grieved over the abuse of America’s power, prominence, and position that we have received from the Lord. “Ongoing investigations reveal that American officials have been withholding financial aid to other countries for years, unless they agreed to promote abortion and the LGBTQ+ agenda to their citizens. It was OUR country that was blackmailing and bullying to spread immorality. “While we have no idea how far-reaching these seeds were sown or grown, as a nation we are responsible for the wicked harvest that is the result. “Now that this evil has been exposed, we are responsible to act. “We also need to repent for the unjust impeachment of President Trump. This action was not because of his actions (despite the claims of the Democrats), but to cover up crimes and immoral actions of our government leaders. They have used their positions to force the above immorality and corruption upon our nation and other nations. “Before we enter 2020, we need to repent and cleanse our land. “We invite you to join us for a National Day of Repentance for our nation over what has transpired to uproot those seeds and call on the Lord to forgive us. “Will you join us on Monday, December 30th, for a day of fasting and repentance of the evil that has been committed as we forced other countries to embrace and spread immorality and evil in exchange for financial assistance? “We also need to repent for the spirit of pride and rebellion that has been allowed to rule our nation and shake its fist in defiance as our president was impeached by a completely partisan vote. In the end, it isn’t just President Trump they wish to remove. It is God.” (Karen Hardin) “I prayed to the Lord my God and confessed: ‘Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with those who love him and keep his commandments, we have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled; we have turned away from your commands and laws. Lord, listen! Lord, forgive! Lord, hear and act! For your sake, my God, do not delay.'” (Daniel 9:4-5, 19; NIV) [We recommend you read the entirety of Daniel 9:4-19.] Give Him 15 minutes in prayer (by Karen Hardin): We need to first humble ourselves and repent. We need to ask forgiveness for those we led astray as abortion and the LGBTQ+ agenda were forced into other nations. We need to repent and be cleansed of the blood on our hands from the abortions traded for aid. We need to pray that the seeds of immorality and corruption that were spread would wither and die. We need to pray that those who perpetuated this evil will be revealed, removed from their positions, and prosecuted. We need to cancel any partnership or alliance with the demonic realm, whether that is through an organization, a country, or an individual, and that all such partnerships will be brought to light and cancelled. Most importantly, we need to pray for revival in our land. A prayer you can pray (by Karen Hardin): Father God, we humble ourselves before You and repent as a nation. Lord God, we have sinned. A Call to a National Day of Repentance on Monday, December 30th “After reading Dave Kubal’s article, There was a Spiritual Quid Pro Quo, my heart was grieved over the abuse of America’s power, prominence, and position that we have received from the Lord. “Ongoing investigations reveal that American officials have been withholding financial aid to other countries for years, unless they agreed to promote abortion and the LGBTQ+ agenda to their citizens. It was OUR country that was blackmailing and bullying to spread immorality. “While we have no idea how far-reaching these seeds were sown or grown, as a nation we are responsible for the wicked harvest that is the result. “Now that this evil has been exposed, we are responsible to act. “We also need to repent for the unjust impeachment of President Trump. This action was not because of his actions (despite the claims of the Democrats), but to cover up crimes and immoral actions of our government leaders. Where Are We Now? As Chuck Pierce and I got ready to do the Plow Tours across America, which many of you participated in, Chuck said he heard three things: Go and prepare the land for awakening. Release the hovering of His Spirit. Release the anointing to give birth. God has been preparing this land for awakening through increasing intercession for many years, so it’s not like there was no preparation for this. God had been telling Abraham that there was a promised son coming, but then He came and said, “Next year at this time, you will have a son.” Finally, the Lord was saying, “It is time.” That is how I believe the Holy Spirit had me interpret that first statement from Chuck. So, we did that this last year and called it “The Plow Tour”. “Hovering” is a reproductive term. In Genesis 1, the Holy Spirit hovered over the deep, then creation was born. He hovered over Mary and Christ was formed in her womb. If the Holy Spirit is hovering over America, then He is about to birth something. You know that scripture in the book of Acts where it talks about Peter’s shadow healing the sick? Well, the term there actually means “when they came into the overshadowing (or hovering) Presence, they were healed.” That is the season we have come to in America. God is going to overshadow the nation. He is going to be released out through your words. Your faith is going to release His hovering. Others are going to step into that and be healed. The release of the hovering of the Holy Spirit is going to find fulfillment in the birthing of the purposes of God that we have interceded for and contended for together for the last decade. It’s birthing time. “So that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.” (Acts 5:15; WBT) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Say with the Lord, “It is time! It is time for new birth in America!” Consider that many men and women of God have been sent across this nation in the last year or two to proclaim a hovering season has come to America. Thank the Lord for the season of hovering over your cities, states, and this nation. Decree that the nation has come to a point of spiritual rebirth. Boldly prime the pump! Pray for miracles. Believe God to save the lost, heal the sick, cast out demons, and supernaturally meet the needs of the poor. A prayer you can pray: Lord, overshadow America with Your Holy Presence! Overshadow our cities and our states. Let this be the time that Your overshadowing begins to birth Your purposes. Let it not be that season of longing and believing, but that season of believing and seeing. Save the lost, heal the sick, raise the dead, and cast out demons. Let the oppressed go free. Let the needs of the poor be met and let the prosperity of the Lord sweep across the land. We praise You for the sending of so many prophetic voices across America in the last year, preparing the way for awakening. The Holy Spirit has been sent to hover over areas, and the hovering will now produce eternal fruit and eternal life. You have brought America to a season of rebirth. You are remaking culture and restoring foundations. You are bringing righteousness and justice to our land. We believe this! We receive this! We are watching, praying, decreeing and acting! Mitch McConnell on Religious Freedom in America “The liberty of conscience and the freedom to live out our faiths has been a foundational principle from the Republic’s earliest days. Many of the first Europeans who arrived in the New World came here fleeing religious persecution. “James Madison wrote that religion ‘must be left to the conviction and conscience of every man, and it is the right of every man to exercise it as these may dictate.’ “Samuel Adams said in the summer of 1776 that America would be ‘the last asylum’ for ‘freedom of thought and the right of private judgment.’ “Religious freedom in America has never meant, and will never mean, solely the freedom to worship privately. It has never meant, and will never mean, the ability to practice only a subset of faiths acceptable to some subset of politicians. “It means the right to live your life according to the dictates of your faith and conscience – free from government coercion.” (Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell) “And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15; ESV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Intercede today for Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. As the leader of the Senate, he will be the one coordinating the impeachment trial in the Senate once Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi sends the Articles of Impeachment over to the Senate. The Congress is back in session on January 6, 2020. Thank the Lord for congressional leadership, like Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, who believe they are there to uphold our constitutional rights. Intercede for the security of those rights, and the support of them by many Senators and Congressmen and women. Declare, “Our freedom to worship the Lord, any way we desire, anywhere we desire, is a constitutional right. We will fight in prayer for it. We will write our leaders and tell them how important we feel the fullness of freedom of religion is to our culture. Inside our churches or in the public square, we have a right to worship Jesus! We will not let that change!” A prayer you can pray: God, thank You for giving us leaders that are not afraid to say they serve You. Thank You for those that feel protecting our constitutionally-guaranteed freedoms, including religious freedom, is important. Thank You that there are Senators and Congressmen and women who understand that freedom of religion is not limited to a type, a form, a place, or a time. Our freedom to worship You, Lord, any way we desire, anywhere we desire, is a constitutional right. We will fight in prayer for it. We will write our leaders and tell them how important we feel the fullness of freedom of religion is to our culture. Inside our churches or in the public square, we have a right to worship Jesus! We will not let that change! We will take full advantage of our ability to freely worship by getting out there in our communities and spreading the Gospel message without fear for as long as we can. It appears that our president is being impeached, but You have placed this one  in the Senate that is able to navigate demands and pressure. God in Government “Our Lord’s gracious love for us is expressed in many ways. During the Christmas season we are reminded that the birth of our Redeemer, Jesus, offers the potential for redemption and the release of bondage for all. “This message of hope and its supernatural effect have the potential to transform the three institutions created by God to care for us. God has created three institutions to provide for our personal needs, our need to be in community, and our need to function in society. God, in his gracious love, supernaturally created the family, the Church, and government as divine entities to meet our needs, but all must be redeemed. “The last of the three divine institutions created by God to care for us is government. Attaching the word “divine” to government is difficult for people to accept these days. However, Romans 13:1 clearly states that there is ‘no authority except that which God established.’ And yet, most people, even Christian people, consider government only a secular institution created by power-hungry politicians. Our Founding Fathers did not believe this. They used the wisdom of God, expressed through the Scriptures, to build the foundation of our nation through the Constitution. “Throughout 2019, I have seen the wisdom of God brought to bear in the lives of our elected officials and in the work that they are doing. I have listened to lawmakers and candidates telling me about the challenge of balancing family life with the demands of public service. I have been asked to pray in confidence about God’s call to run for office or to take action in Congress or in the highest levels of the Executive branch. I have been asked to pray about behind-the-scenes events on Capitol Hill that you will never see on the news. And every time I tell them that I am praying, and that you… are praying, every time the response has been how very much it means, personally and professionally. “Praying for our government leaders is crucial, and letting them know they are being prayed for is almost as important. It only makes sense that a godly institution can only truly thrive with the infusion of God-fearing people, following God-outlined principles, upheld in prayer by God-directed intercessors. Since God is the author of this institution, we cannot remove Him from the institution and expect it to function well—or at all. “We must hold on to our hope and take a ‘stand’ upon our knees as we battle for God’s best in our nation.” (Dave Kubal) “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.” (Isaiah 9:6; KJV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Thank the Lord that He established government to care for our needs as a society. Acknowledge that government cannot function properly without His guidance and intervention. Beseech His involvement. Pray for your city. Ask the Lord to bless your city’s leadership and give them wisdom. Pray for decisions that will benefit the local population, versus advance a political agenda. Pray for your state government, likewise. Find your member of the House of Representatives here. Find your two state Senators here. Look at their congressional webpages and find out the committees they are on and what issues they support. Intercede for them with knowledge and understanding. Consider writing them through their contact pages to let them know you are praying for them. Go to whitehouse.gov and look for information on what is happening in the Executive branch. There are pages for President Trump, Vice President Pence, and the Cabinet members. You can also encourage them by dropping them a quick email of support and encouragement. Most of our Executive branch leadership appreciates, even covets, the prayers of the saints. You can find more prayer points for government and government officials at IFAPray.org. A prayer you can pray: Father, we dedicate this nation to You yet again today. We acknowledge You as the One who established it. We acknowledge You as the creator of government. You are the One that led our founder to establish our nation on Your principles. We ask You to align our governing leaders with Your principles as they lead us. Let us not forget to intercede for them often, if not daily. They are more in need of prayer than they may realize. Some do know it and humbly request it. May we not hold back our intercession on their behalf, even if we fundamentally disagree with their political positions. They need our prayers. We pray for the God-fearing, that they will know that You are with them, leading and guiding and directing them, as they lean on and trust in and rely on You. We pray for those who see no need to seek You. Lord, turn their hearts to make decisions that benefit the people they serve, and not their own interests or pet projects. Don’t let them be tempted by bribes or political advancement. May they find themselves leaning toward the things that please You – righteousness, justice, and moral purity. Remove corruption from our land. [Intercede now for your specific local, state and national government representatives.] We pray also for President Trump. Lord, may he continue to seek godly counsel from Your people that You have placed around him. Thank You for his humility. Bless him for it. Guard him in all of His ways, and may His decisions please You. Give him witty ideas and strategies to proper the nation and the people. Let Him learn to seek You directly and rely on Your guidance more and more. We pray for Vice President Pence, likewise. We know he is a Christian man. He loves You, Jesus, and it shows. He is a good leader and a faithful supporter of our President. Grant him continued grace and favor as he continues to help lead our nation.
