Be the Church The church is mentioned for the first time in Matthew 16:18-19: "I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock, I will build My church, and the gates of Hades will not overpower it I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven, and whatever you shall loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.” When Jesus used the word church (Greek: ekklesia), the disciples weren’t hindered by our contemporary preconceived ideas as to what it meant. Their paradigm of an ekklesia differed greatly from what it has become. To us today it is (1) a worship service; (2) a building used by Christians; (3) a local congregation of Christians; or (4) for those who tend toward a more literal meaning, the people of God, “called out” from the world. The last concept is the most accurate, according to a strict translation but it still falls far short of communicating what an ekklesia was when Christ made His stunning announcement. To the Greeks in Christ’s day, an ekklesia was an assembly of people set apart to govern the affairs of a state or nation - in essence, a city council, a parliament, a congress, etc. To the Romans, it was a governing body sent into a conquered region, not only to govern but to alter the culture until it became like Rome. Realizing this was the ideal way to control their empire - discipling conquered regions until the people lost their previous identity and began to think of themselves as Romans - they accomplished this through government, social structure, language, schools, etc. When Jesus said He would build His church, He was without question speaking of a body of people that would “legislate” spiritually and disciple for Him, operating in His Kingdom authority on the earth. They would bind and loose, forbid and allow, when dealing with demonic forces; their extension of Christ’s Kingdom authority in/with people would be through the power of the gospel, and by teaching and demonstrating the principles of His Kingdom. His statement that “the gates of Hades will not overpower the church” makes much more sense when we understand this. These “gates” are not physical, but rather are the authority, plans, and schemes of hell. In World Vision magazine, John Robb writes: Several years ago, a giant tree stood on the banks of the Awash River, in an arid valley about two hours’ drive southeast of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. It had stood there for generations, seemingly eternal. For years, the people who lived in the surrounding district had suffered through famines . . . In their suffering, the people looked to the tree for help. Believing a spirit gave it divine powers, they worshipped the towering giant. Adults would kiss the great trunk when they passed by, and they spoke of the tree in hushed, reverential tones. Children said, “This tree saved us.” In 1989, World Vision began a development project there, including an irrigation system . . . But even as they labored to build the system, the great tree stood like a forbidding sentinel of the old order, presiding over the community, enslaving the people through fear. Spirits needed to be propitiated with animal sacrifices and strict observance of taboos. When World Vision workers saw how the villagers worshipped the tree, they knew it was an idolatrous barrier to the entrance of God’s Kingdom and transformation of the community. One morning as the staff prayed together, one of Jesus’ promises struck them: “If you have faith, you can say to this tree, ‘Be taken up and removed’ . . . and it will obey you.” In faith, they began to pray that God would bring down the menacing goliath. Soon the whole community knew the Christians were praying about the tree. Six months later, the tree began to dry up, its leafy foliage disappeared, and finally, it collapsed like a stricken giant into the river. The people of the community were astonished, proclaiming, “Your God has done this! Your God has dried up the tree!” In the days and weeks afterward, approximately 100 members of the community received Jesus Christ because they saw His power displayed in answer to the Christians’ prayers. What a wonderful story! This is the ekklesia in action. Why aren’t stories such as this more common? How have we missed this truth? If I were satan and wanted to stop evangelism, the spread of biblical morality, or the rule of God on the earth, I would try and deceive Christians regarding the meaning of being Christ’s ekklesia. My first priority would be to keep the church from truly being the church, representing Christ’s authority on the earth. While we absolutely are not to spread our faith or God’s rule on earth by physical force or domination, as some religions teach, we MUST use this authority when dealing with the spiritual forces of darkness. Bind and loose spiritual forces; love, serve, and disciple people. That is the assignment of the church. Pray with me: Jesus, You said You would build a church in which the gates of hell could not overcome. You gave us your authority as the King of the kingdom - authority to bind and loose, forbid and allow. Awaken the church to these “keys.” Give us a greater revelation of Your authority, and that You delegated this authority to us. Remind us that the church is not a building or an organization. It is not a worship service. It is functioning as Your authority on the earth. As we move in higher levels of this, bring an increased manifestation of it through signs and wonders, healings, and deliverances. May we truly preach the gospel of the Kingdom, which includes Your dominion over demons, disease, oppression, and sin. We know earth’s greatest revival is now coming, and we know it will be infused with Your love and power. We ask for this release of Your life. We also ask for the ability to disciple nations. Give us greater insight and revelation in this regard. Show us how to take the principles of your Kingdom and introduce them to a world where hate, deception, and sin rule. This will take great wisdom and revelation, but You promised us You would equip us to accomplish this task. So we ask for an abundance of understanding to now come to the church in this regard. We ask in Christ’s name, amen. Decree: We decree that Christ is building a church that the government, plans, and schemes of hell will not prevail against. A National Decree “You will also decree a thing, and it will be established for you; And light will shine on your ways.” (Job 22:28; NASB) More and more believers are learning the power of agreeing with God in our hearts and declaring it from our mouths. We are born again - the greatest of all miracles - when we believe the Gospel in our hearts and confess it with our mouths (Romans 10:9-10). The Greek word translated “confess” (homologia) means “to say the same.” ln a biblical context, it means to say what God says. Because of the root Greek word logos/logia, a more thorough definition would be “to understand, agree with (submit to), and acknowledge this by saying it.” Confessing Jesus as Lord means you understand the Gospel, agree and submit to it, and declare this verbally. Confessing, declaring, or decreeing our faith in God’s Word has become somewhat controversial due to unbalanced teaching by some and ignorance of the Scriptures on the part of others. It need not be, however. Simply stated, the power of God’s Word and from what Holy Spirit says prophetically, must be released by us. One of the ways we do so is with our mouths. This truth is seen throughout Scripture. There are other reasons we speak God’s words, as well. In my studies over the years, I have come to believe we do so in order to: Increase our faith - Romans 10:17 tells us faith comes by hearing God’s words. Jesus said His words were seeds (Matthew 13:1-23). Hearing His Word as we speak it, is one of the ways in which we plant the seeds in our hearts. Speaking the Word is actually part of biblical meditation (Joshua 1:8); the Hebrew word means to mutter or speak to oneself. Release our faith - As stated in the opening paragraph, releasing our faith by stating what we believe is how we’re born again (Romans 10:9-10). Jesus said declaring our faith would remove mountains of adversity from our lives (Mark 11.23-24). The Faith in our hearts must be released! Release God’s power and life - Jesus spoke to storms, fig trees, and dead individuals (Mark 4:39; Matthew 21:19; John 11.43). Obviously, He did not do so because storms or trees have ears, and the dead don’t hear. Jesus was releasing His faith through His words. He also released miracles, as did the disciples, through declarations (Matthew 8:8-13; Acts 9.34,40). Proverbs 18:21 tells us “life” is in the power of our words! Release the sword of the Spirit - Ephesians 6:17 tells us the spoken Word is a spiritual weapon against forces that oppose God. Matthew 16:18-19 says we bind and loose, forbid and allow with the authority Christ has delegated to us. This is accomplished by declaring His words and will. Obviously, we must pray and decree according to God’s will and Word (1 John 5:14-15). When we do so, however, our declarations and decrees release life, power, His will and Kingdom rule (Matthew 6:10). Like God - and Abraham - we call things that be not, as already existing (Romans 4:17). The definition of faith - believing in what we cannot see - lets us know that we are decreeing what we desire and know to be God’s will, not what has already manifested. This is why we make declarations and decrees. Our friends at Flashpoint, Gene and Teri Bailey, have written and released the following strong, biblically-based decree over America. My prayer is that millions of believers will begin to release it daily over our nation. As we do, power will be released, and the will of God will manifest. Let’s decree it together now. We decree that evil carries no power, authority or rights in our land nor over our people. 12. We decree that we will operate in unity, going beyond denominational lines in order to accomplish the purposes of God for our nation. 13. And we decree that AMERICA SHALL BE SAVED! We know this country was founded on Judeo-Christian principles. We know the truth; therefore, we stand for truth and will NEVER be deceived! We will NEVER stop fighting! We will NEVER, EVER, EVER give up or give in! We WILL take our country back. We WILL honor the ONE TRUE GOD, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob! The Man in the Arena Jesus placed a very high emphasis on faithfulness. In a parable regarding the subject, He stated that this virtue would be part of our welcome into Heaven:​​ “The master was full of praise. ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!’” (Matthew 25:21) In today’s post, I’m doing something I’ve been planning for quite some time. I want to honor the faithful intercessors and other front-liners who have worked diligently to see the purposes of Christ accomplished in America. Most of you are never paid a penny for your labors, never receive glowing introductions, and will never stand on a stage. You’re the nameless, faceless heroes the prophets assured us were coming. Thank God you’re here. Your best days are ahead of you. The great leader, orator, and statesman, Winston Churchill, was known for his ability to bolster the spirits and determination of the British people during the harsh days of World War II. On October 31, 1942, he was addressing a conference of coal-mine operators and miners in Westminster’s Central Hall. Compared to some of Churchill’s speeches, this one seemed like nothing extraordinary, not until his ending, that is: “We shall not fail, and then someday, when children ask, ‘What did you do to win this inheritance for us, and to make our name so respected among men?’ One will say: ‘I was a fighter pilot’; another will say: ‘I was in the Submarine Service’; another: ‘I marched with the Eighth Army’; a fourth will say: ‘None of you could have lived without the convoys and the Merchant Seamen’; and you in your turn will say, with equal pride and with equal right: ‘We cut the coal.’” (1) With absolutely no fear of being sensationalistic or exaggerating the truth, I say to the intercessors and active “coal-cutters”: Thank you for furthering the cause of Christ and helping save the world from evil and tyranny. Helping to restore America back to her destiny IS essential to saving the nations. Ronald Reagan was accurate when he said of America: “You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We will preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on earth, or we will sentence them to take the first step into a thousand years of darkness. If we fail, at least let our children and our children’s children say of us we justified our brief moment here. We did all that could be done.”(2) Reagan had a good reason for stating this. Though we in America are not more loved or special to God than other nationalities, we do play a unique role. And we must not fail. If we persevere in our assignment, WE WILL NOT FAIL. I recently heard a quote implying that our yieldedness to God is more important than our actions or efforts. May I respectfully say that this is a half-truth. Our yieldedness is but one side of the coin. The converse side of the coin is the hard work side - the “Go ye” side - the “coal-cutting” side. Without this half of the coin, it’s a counterfeit. In late 2020 and early 2021, I listened as effort-less believers mocked, ridiculed, and criticized others who worked tirelessly for the ideals and principles - not for a person or political party - in which they believed so passionately. Those ideals, of course, included the lives of millions of babies in the womb. I am not contending that they all did so perfectly, just that they “did so.” And I want to say “thank you.” Some of you were like Eleazar in Scripture, one of David’s mighty men, who fought the enemies of Israel until his hand clung to the sword (2 Samuel 23: 9-10). They had to peel Eleazar’s fingers from the sword after the battle. When he could no longer hold on with his physical strength, he held on with his heart. I have watched some of you weep through bloodshot eyes, pray through the night, fast for days on end, and spend thousands of your hard-earned dollars to see the purposes of God established in our nation. I will never fault or criticize you, the Eleazars of the Kingdom, for perhaps misinterpreting a dream, misstating a fact or praying an imperfect prayer. God has never required perfection, and your efforts did not go unnoticed in Heaven. You are today’s “mighty men and women.” I have watched others of you stand in the rain and snow for hours with a piece of red LIFE tape covering your mouths. Others of you have adopted unwanted babies or children, preserving their destinies and giving them families. Still, others have supported these actions financially. You are my heroes - I am humbled by your sacrifices and commitment. Thank you for your coal-stained faces. You all are important reasons we are the “post-Roe generation.” Had there been more of you, perhaps some of the other cataclysmic issues of our day would now be overcome. My prayer is that your ranks grow. In conclusion, I dedicate the following quote from Theodore “Teddy” Roosevelt to you, the “doers.” Roosevelt’s statement was made on April 23, 1910, in a speech originally entitled, “Citizenship In A Republic.” The speech is now best known as “The Man In the Arena.” This incredible leader, who once gave a speech while bleeding from just having been shot in the chest, spoke of people like you: “It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, who comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming; but who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows, in the end, the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.”(3) To you, the coal-cutters of the Kingdom, we say thank you. Pray with me: Father, You are not impressed with our gifts and talents. They came from You, after all. What You appreciate and need is our faithfulness. You equated greatness with servanthood, not with notoriety or influence. Prayer changes the world, and You said do it in the secret place. We thank You for the faithful, hidden ones in the Kingdom - the doers, the givers, the goers. May the coming season in the church be known as “the believers' movement.” Deliver us from showbiz Christianity, platform-driven movements, and spiritual entertainment centers. Give us real Christianity, the book of Acts kind. It’s the only model You gave us. Light a fire in Your people. Release a call to action. Give us Eleazars, spiritual “coal-cutters,” doers. Deliver the church from selfishness, laziness, and “prayerlessness.” Make us lovers AND warriors. We pray this in Christ’s name. What It Means to Be An American On this special day, July 4, I have asked my friend, Major William Ostan (Retired), to write the Give Him 15 post. Some of you know that Will gave me my first Appeal To Heaven flag and introduced me to its history. He is a great lover of God and country. Will begins: “In honor of the 150th Anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, President Calvin Coolidge said: ‘It is often asserted that the world has made a great deal of progress since 1776 ... and that we may therefore very well discard their conclusions for something more modern. But that reasoning cannot be applied to this great charter. If all men are created equal, that is final. If they are endowed with unalienable rights, that is final. If governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed, that is final. No advance, no progress can be made beyond these propositions.’ [1] “We are now 96 years past the time President Coolidge spoke those prescient words, and 246 years out from the signing of that exceptional document. As Coolidge so aptly pointed out – many would want us to look at the “progress” our nation has made and conclude that it would be appropriate to exchange a document so antiquated with something more modern. But we would be foolish to look upon our Declaration in this way. We must instead educate ourselves and our children on the ways in which our founders set up a lasting and powerful foundation, one that was designed to protect our God-given rights and foster a Republic in which we could live out those freedoms. Some Americans buy into the leftist ideology that bombards us at every turn, stating that our founding documents are oppressive, discriminatory, and outdated. Those who oppose the content, object on the basis of our nation’s past moral failings. However, we can unconditionally own the sins of our past without discarding the framework of liberty passed down to us. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., said: ‘When the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every American was to fall heir. This note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the unalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.’ [2] “The misguided objections of some in our current culture could not be further from the truth. 1776 Project states it this way: ‘America’s founding principles are true not because any generation—including our own—has lived them perfectly, but because they are based upon the eternal truths of the human condition. They are rooted in our capacity for evil and power for good, our longing for truth and striving for justice, our need for order and our love of freedom. Above all else, these principles recognize the worth, equality, potential, dignity, and glory of each and every man, woman, and child created in the image of God.”’ 3] “To understand the brilliance behind the infrastructure our Founding Fathers created for us, we must look at the ways in which the documents are based on timeless Biblical ideas of man and government. These ideals have fostered a sacred freedom, scarcely found elsewhere in the world. “In fact, historians have found that the average lifespan of a written, national constitution is 17 years! With the founding documents of other nation’s proving to be so fragile, Americans must appreciate the durability of our own founding documents. Historian Stephen McDowell, has found that ‘the reason America has endured so long is because our documents are based on one other, even longer enduring document – the Bible.’ [4] “In honor of our Independence Day, let’s take a closer look at our nation’s Declaration of Independence, which has far surpassed the 17-year lasting average of such documents. The Biblical ideas found within can be summed up in the following four points – followed by exact wording from the Declaration itself: 1. All men are equal. ‘We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal…’ 2. Man, being created in the Divine image (imago dei), has independent value. ‘that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness…’ 3. Man is superior to the state (government). ‘That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among Men.’ 4. The state (government) exists for man. ‘deriving their just Powers from the consent of the governed’ ‘whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government.’ “The Declaration also directly refers to God four times: 1. ‘the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God’ [5] 2. ‘Men are created equal … [and] endowed by their Creator’ 3. ‘appealing to the Supreme Judge of the World’ 4. ‘And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm Reliance on the Protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.’ [6] “In their own words, the signers stated again and again that our nation would not succeed apart from God.[7] They understood that the exceptionalism of the Great Experiment, which they fondly called it, was directly rooted in the fact that the people who gave consent to be governed did so with the understanding of what it meant to live in a society governed by Biblical truths. And that they must actively and intentionally fight to protect those truths in each generation that followed. “Is it not obvious then, that our cause as Christian Americans living in this current culture is to uphold the biblical ideas of our founding and our government? We must remind ourselves of where we’ve come from and the foundations upon which we stand; that the documents themselves do not grant us freedom, but they profoundly recognize that freedom is something granted from God. We’ve been entrusted to protect it. “To that end – let us consider what it means to live in a nation that acknowledges God-given equality, unalienable rights, and liberty for all. What a vital and honorable responsibility it is to steward these foundational ideals: To be an American is something noble and good. To be an American is to be full of optimism for the future. To be an American is to be marked by determination to fight for what is right. To be an American is to be full of kindness toward those in need. To be an American is to show courage in the face of adversity. To be an American is to embrace hard work and be generous with the fruits of our labor. To be an American is to learn from our mistakes with openness and honesty. To be an American is to instill these values in the next generation. “Frederick Douglass understood this profound responsibility of the American people when he said: ‘The Declaration of Independence is the ring-bolt to the chain of your nation’s destiny; so, indeed, I regard it. The principles contained in that instrument are saving principles. Stand by those principles, be true to them on all occasions, in all places, against all foes, and at whatever cost.’ [8] “Fellow Americans, brothers and sisters, as you celebrate our Independence Day, would you resolve once again to uphold and embody the biblical ideals laid out in the Declaration. Pass them on to your children and fight to preserve the truths on which our nation rests – because isn’t that, after all, what it means to be an American?” Pray with me: Heavenly Father, we come first with hearts full of gratitude for the liberties we enjoy in America. We see Your hand throughout our foundations and thank You that our Founders were guided by Your truths, laid out in the Bible, and that they recognized our Republic cannot stand apart from You. Would You open the eyes of our nation, Lord, to see the biblical principles at the core of our founding. Please silence the voice of the enemy that would seek to discredit our heritage and bring our nation to ruin. Empower us to renew our resolve to live out the biblical ideals necessary for the preservation of this country. Do this in order that America will once again be a city on a hill, shining brightly to spread the Gospel to the ends of the earth. In Jesus’ name, we pray this. “I Must Have America” I am unashamed of the love I have for America. It is not an arrogant love, believing we are superior to other people. Nor is it a selfish love, believing we’re more important than other people. “For God so loved the world…” is the heart of the gospel; Yahweh loves the beggar in Calcutta as much as He loves the billionaire in Silicon Valley. My love for America is based on patriotism - I freely admit that I love my homeland - but it is also spiritual. In 2000, the Lord imparted to me His passion and heart for America. He loves us and needs us. The United States has a unique assignment, being birthed by God to trumpet the gospel of the Kingdom to the ends of the earth. As He and I wept together on that sacred occasion, His words are forever seared into my heart and soul: “I MUST have America.” And He will! Approaching the weekend when many will be celebrating our national birthday, I want to share with you some words from our founders. Their passion and eloquence were profound, far more so than I could ever generate. Let the fire of their love, dedication, and patriotism penetrate your soul. The first quote is from Patrick Henry, who was arguing in favor of going to war for our independence: “The question before the House is one of awful moment to this country. For my own part, I consider it as nothing less than a question of freedom or slavery…Should I keep back my opinions at such a time, through fear of giving offense, I should consider myself as guilty of treason towards my country, and of an act of disloyalty toward the majesty of heaven, which I revere above all earthly kings…We must fight! I repeat it, sir, we must fight! An appeal to arms and to the God of Hosts is all that is left us! “They tell us, sir, that we are weak; unable to cope with so formidable an adversary. But when shall we be stronger? Will it be the next week, or the next year? Will it be when we are totally disarmed, and when a British guard shall be stationed in every house? Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance, by lying supinely on our backs, and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot? Sir, we are not weak if we make a proper use of those means which the God of nature hath placed in our power. Three million people, armed in the holy cause of liberty, and in such a country as that which we possess, are invincible by any force which our enemy can send against us. Besides, sir, we shall not fight our battles alone. There is a just God who presides over the destinies of nations; and who will raise up friends to fight our battles for us. The battle, sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave. Besides, sir, we have no election. If we were base enough to desire it, it is now too late to retire from the contest. There is no retreat but in submission and slavery! Our chains are forged! Their clanking may be heard on the plains of Boston! The war is inevitable and let it come! I repeat it, sir, let it come. “It is in vain, sir, to extenuate the matter. Gentlemen may cry, Peace, Peace but there is no peace. The war is actually begun! The next gale that sweeps from the north will bring to our ears the clash of resounding arms! Our brethren are already in the field! Why stand we here idle? What is it that gentlemen wish? What would they have? Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!”(1) Amazing! Fiery eloquence! The following quote is from John Adams, a founding father and second President of the United States. When Adams was elected as a Boston delegate in 1770, he knew it was considered treason to the king of England; Adams believed the decision would cost him everything. He informed his wife Abigail: “I have accepted a seat in the House of Representatives, and thereby have consented to my own ruin, to your ruin, and the ruin of our children. I give you this warning, that you may prepare your mind for your fate.”(2) Abigail’s response, through tears, was: “Well, I am willing in this cause to run all risks with you, and be ruined with you, if you are ruined.”(3) Adams later stated to Abigail: “I am well aware of the toil and blood and treasure that it will cost us to maintain this Declaration and support and defend these states. Yet through all the gloom I can see the rays of ravishing light and glory. I can see that the end is more than worth all the means.”(4) Adams, referred to by Thomas Jefferson as a “colossus of Independence,” died 50 years later on July 4th, 1826. Amazingly, Jefferson did, as well. It was as though both men willed themselves to live until that landmark 50th birthday of America. Two of Adam’s last words: “Independence forever.”(5) Incredible. And here is one more poignant quote. When the delegates to the Continental Congress reached an impasse attempting to write our Constitution, Ben Franklin made the following appeal: “The small progress we have made after 4 or 5 weeks [of] close attendance and continual reasonings with each other…is [I think] a melancholy proof of the imperfection of the Human Understanding… “…how has it happened. Sir, that we have not hitherto once thought of humbly [asking] the Father of lights to illuminate our understandings? In the beginning of the contest with Great Britain, when we were sensible of danger we had daily prayer in this room for the Divine Protection. Our prayers, Sir, were heard, and they were graciously answered. All of us who were engaged in the struggle must have observed frequent instances of a Superintending providence in our favor. To that kind providence we owe this happy opportunity of consulting in peace on the means of establishing our future national felicity. And have we now forgotten that powerful friend? “I have lived, Sir, a long time, and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth - that God governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without His notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without His aid? We have been assured, Sir, in the sacred writings that ‘except the Lord build they labor in vain that build it.’ I firmly believe this; and I also believe that without His concurring aid we shall succeed in this political building no better than the Builders of Babel: We shall be divided by our little partial local interests; our projects will be confounded, and we ourselves shall be become a reproach and a bye word down to future age. “I, therefore, beg leave to move - that henceforth prayers imploring the assistance of Heaven, and its blessings on our deliberations, be held in His Assembly every morning before we proceed to business, and that one or more of the Clergy of this City be requested to officiate in that service.”(6) Thus began the tradition of opening Congress with prayer. Let’s follow suit and pray for America. Pray with me: We thank You, Father, for raising up our nation to propagate the gospel of Yeshua and His Kingdom to the entire world. We are honored to be part of this nation. Today, we honor those You used to birth America. We are grateful for their commitment to You, their love of liberty, and their understanding of our biblical rights and responsibilities. We ask You to give us more men and women like them. Give us leaders who are brilliant, people of great character, and individuals who will honor You and Your ways. Deliver us from those who oppose Your ways and laws, who do not love our nation, and who have proven to be foolish and ignorant. In this season when we celebrate our birth as a nation, we are careful to remember Your purpose in creating us. We were born to serve You and the nations of the world. Give us servant hearts once again. And restore us spiritually to the degree that the gospel is trumpeted from this land with the greatest force and power that has ever been seen. Is Food Being Used As A Weapon? At times I feel the need to bring you up to date on issues that are not pleasant to talk about. Today is one of those days. For several months, I have been concerned about likely international food shortages in the near future. Financial experts, farmers, and prophets are now predicting this. My purpose today is not to put fear in you - we must not yield to fear - but to alert the praying church. We MUST pray and if led to do so, make wise plans. Today we are sharing parts of an article by Angela Rodriguez and published by Intercessors For America, that explains what is coming. (You can read the entire informative article here.) “Since the beginning of time, food has been used as a weapon. Generals have utilized it to starve out the enemy, while dictators have wielded it to punish their own citizens. No matter what the reason, the food supply is perhaps the most powerful weapon that can be used to control a population of people. “When the Covid crisis began, supply chain problems popped up around the globe, leading to outbreaks of fear-based irrational behavior. Who can forget the Great Toilet Paper Crisis where desperate people were seen wrestling each other over a pack of Charmin? “The supply chain issues have intensified since the war in Ukraine. Your own eyes tell the tale when you walk into a supermarket, only to find your favorite cereal is missing, and the loaf of bread or bag of chips you bought in 2021 is now costing you almost a dollar more. Many of us notice 30% (or more) increases in our favorite food items, well above the published inflation rates of 8 or even 9%... “Back in mid-May, economist James Rickards posted an article where he laid out the reasons why we could see more food supply issues in the near future. He wrote, ‘[I]n the Northern Hemisphere, the planting season for 2022 is well underway. Crops were planted in March and April. Based on that, you can already form estimates of output for September and October during the harvest season…plantings have been far below normal in 2022, either due to lack of fertilizer, or because of fertilizer's higher costs, farmers simply chose to plant less. This predictable shortage is in addition to the much greater shortages due to the fact that Russian output is sanctioned, and Ukrainian output is nonexistent because it’s at war.’ “Projecting ahead to October–December of 2022, means that countries who rely the most on importing grain will not be able to get the amount needed. According to Rickards, ‘The combined population of countries that get between 70%-100% of their imports from Russia or Ukraine is 700 million people. That’s 10% of the population… you’re looking at a humanitarian crisis of unprecedented proportions, probably the worst since the Black Death of the 14th century.’ “With some farmers paying two to three times last year’s price [for fertilizer], it’s inevitable that the consumer will absorb much of this cost. Farmers in North Carolina (USA) say they are feeling the impact of inflation and that increased input costs are not sustainable. One farmer said that fertilizer cost is ‘up three to four times what it was a year ago…’ “Add in higher prices at the pump and you’ve got a recipe for rampant inflation. In places like the United Kingdom, farmers can’t afford to plant crops for the next season because of skyrocketing fuel and fertilizer costs. Bank of England governor Andrew Bailey declared that food prices are rising at the fastest rate in 30 years, causing ‘a very big income shock.’ He described food price increases as ‘apocalyptic.’ He warns that the UK may see a double-digit inflation rate by the end of the year… “While the grain supply is one concern, another issue is the outbreak of diseases among animal populations. [Millions of pigs, cattle, fish, chickens, and turkeys have either mysteriously died or been euthanized...] “Adding fuel to the fire, there’s also been a mysterious outbreak of fires in major food processing facilities across the country. One such facility, known as Azure Standard, was destroyed overnight, affecting liquid products such as honey, oil, and vinegar. A week before this, a fire erupted at Taylor Farms, where the main processing facility was destroyed. Known as a ‘major player’ in the food supply chain for both Canada and the U.S., this loss did not go unnoticed. Another fire occurred in March at the Maricopa Food Pantry in Arizona, resulting in the loss of 50,000 pounds of food. If that weren’t enough, in Minnesota, thousands of chickens died in a devastating blaze. Additional fires have flared up in Texas, Indiana, New Hampshire, Oregon, and more. “As these incidents and shortages play out, one can’t help but wonder what the globalists are saying, or more appropriately, what’s their role in all of this? It’s no surprise that one world organizations like the United Nations are talking about food shortages. David Beasley, the current head of the UN’s world food program, is predicting a ‘perfect storm’ of global agricultural collapse. The biggest problem this year is food prices, but he warns that next year, it will morph into a food availability problem as supplies run dry. ‘In 2023 you’re going to have a food shortage problem.’ “The World Economic Forum talked about food shortages at their annual meeting in Davos which was held May 22-26, 2022. Ahead of the meeting, World Economic Forum Founder Klaus Schwab said, ‘The return of war, epidemics and the climate crisis, all those disruptive forces have derailed the global recovery…Those issues must be confronted in Davos, and the global food crisis, in particular, needs our immediate attention.’ “When it comes to the food shortage crisis one wonders if the Hegelian dialectic has come into play. This occurs when a problem is purposefully created, but the blame for the problem is placed on another source. This problem elicits a reaction, whereby people cry out for a solution. Miraculously, the same entity that created the problem now provides a solution to solve the crisis. “In this case, is it a stretch to ponder the idea that the globalists have their climate-friendly solution for world hunger already in hand? After all, they claim to be sustainable food supply experts who must act swiftly to save the world. At the 2022 meeting, they parroted all the answers and so did their stakeholders and partners. “...The Rockefeller Foundation had a lot to say about the global food crisis in their guide titled Reset the Table: Transforming the U.S. Food System. The objective is clearly stated: ‘One of the consistent needs we’ve heard expressed by those seeking to transform the food system is a SHARED NARRATIVE to motivate the needed changes in the system…we articulated a narrative and a message framework focused on the long-term transformation needed in the food system.’ Further investigation of this guide reveals some common themes which are: racial justice, equity, fairness, sustainability, and shared prosperity... “This whole narrative the globalists are creating is likely part of a greater plan–one which will have many strings attached, such as global IDs and carbon footprint trackers. As J. Michael Evans of the Alibaba group declared at the World Economic Forum’s 2022 annual meeting: “We are developing through technology the ability for consumers to measure their own carbon footprint…where they are traveling, how they are traveling, WHAT THEY ARE EATING, what they are consuming...” “Other hints of this same agenda come from the World Bank Group. They, along with the United Nations, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Secure Identity Alliance, Mastercard, the World Food Program, and others have big plans for their universal ID program that is built upon sustainable goals…” “Here’s a few questions for the Rockefeller Foundation, Alibaba, and the World Bank–Will this universal ID be mandatory in order to receive the benefits of these food systems? Will our trackable carbon footprint affect what and how much we can eat? If we defy the approved narrative, will we be locked out of the program? How will food wealth be shared from one nation to another in order to provide ‘equity’? “The truth is that food can be used as a weapon. So, what do we do about it? Of course, we must take this issue to our Great Provider, Jesus Christ, who is very aware of the true narrative surrounding this issue. No matter what happens, we must remember that God is more than able to provide for all our needs. Like the story of Elijah and the ravens, God can use the most unique ways to sustain us. The ravens brought Elijah bread and meat twice a day. In our times of need, God will not fail us.” Let’s pray about this now. Pray with me: Father, we trust You as our provider. You will not forsake us in times of famine or difficulties. We resist fear - WE WILL NOT FEAR. We do pray, however, for Your mercy and grace in this coming season. We pray against the starvation that could occur among millions of people around the world. We ask for a miracle from You to stop this from occurring. We pray against any sinister plan by globalists to generate this food shortage in order to control people around the world. There are evil people in the world seeking to control us. We ask You to remove them from their positions of wealth and power. Dry up their funds and remove their influence. Give strategies to Your people as they navigate through these times. May we be prepared for what is coming, both through Your supernatural provision and through wise planning. And may we, like Joseph, be used to provide for and sustain many, regardless of how difficult things become. We pray all of this in the name of Jesus, amen. Keep the Serpent Out of Your Garden My good friend, Chuck Pierce, told me recently I needed to revisit and teach from my book, Watchman Prayer. Chuck said it was more important now than when I wrote it 20 years ago. A couple of weeks back Gene Bailey and our friends at Flashpoint also mentioned the book. Gene said watchmen prayer is what he feels the upcoming Flashpoint Live in Atlanta is all about. This gathering on July 1 is so important. Please join us either in person or on the Victory Channel. With these confirmations in mind, over the coming weeks, I am planning to teach occasionally about being watchmen for our nation, families, and leaders here on Give Him 15. Satan takes advantage of us when we are not functioning as watchmen, as is made clear in the following verse: “In order that no advantage be taken of us by satan; for we are not ignorant of his schemes” (2 Corinthians 2:11). The context of this verse is forgiveness, but a general principle is also revealed. Let’s analyze the verse more closely. The word “ignorant” is from the Greek verb agnoeo, which means to be “without knowledge or understanding of.”(1) Our English word “agnostic” is derived from it. Technically, an agnostic is not a person who is unsure if he or she believes in God, although we now use the word almost exclusively in this way. In actuality, an agnostic is a person without knowledge or understanding, regardless of the subject. We also get the word “ignore” from the same Greek word. In this verse, we’re urged not to ignore or be an agnostic - without understanding - where the devil is concerned. “Schemes” is from the word noema, which literally means “thought.” The verse is saying, “Don’t be without understanding of the way satan thinks.” Noema came to also mean “plans, schemes, plots, devices”(2) because these things are born in the thoughts of the mind. For greater insight, let’s insert all of these concepts back into the verse: “Don’t be without understanding of the way your enemy thinks and operates - of his plans, plots, schemes, and devices.” By the way, is there not also a promise in this warning? If God says we must not be ignorant of satan’s schemes, He is obviously willing to reveal them to us. What will happen if we are unaware of satan’s schemes? The verse says he’ll take advantage of us. The word “advantage” is derived from pleonekteo, which is a compound word meaning literally “to have or hold the greater portion” (pleon - “the greater part”; echo - “to have or hold”).(3) It is easy to see why this is the word for “covet.” It also means “overreach.”(4) In boxing, the person who has a longer reach has the advantage and usually gets in more blows. The word pleonekteo is also translated “make a gain”; satan makes a lot of gains on those who are unaware of his ways. The Greek scholar, Bullinger, says pleonekteo means “to make a prey of, to defraud.”(5) Let’s use all of these definitions to translate the verse: “To the degree we are ignorant of the way our adversary thinks and operates - of his plans, plots, schemes and devices - to that degree he will gain on us, prey on us, defraud us of what is ours and have or hold the greater portion.” The greater portion of what? Whatever! Our homes, marriages, families, communities, money, government, nation, and more. In the 1970s and 1980s, the church in America was without understanding of what satan was planning in our education system and he took the greater portion of our schools. The same could be said of our government. Paul was taken advantage of by satan in 1 Thessalonians 2:18. Satan gained on him (plenekteo) in the ongoing war over spreading the gospel: “For we wanted to come to you - I, Paul, more than once - and yet satan thwarted us.” We know Paul won more battles than he lost, but he was human and at times satan succeeded in thwarting his plans. Please notice the verse doesn’t say God changed His mind about where Paul was to go. It clearly says satan hindered him. Those who would have us think that satan can do nothing except what God allows and, therefore, we are to simply ignore him, are misled. God doesn’t ignore the devil and neither should we. And satan certainly does a lot of things God doesn’t “allow” him to do. The only sense in which it can be said that God allows everything which occurs on earth is that He created the laws and principles - sowing and reaping, cause and effect, and the free will of humans - that govern the earth. We, however, implement these principles and determine much of what we reap and experience. Satan understands these laws also, and uses them to his advantage whenever possible. (6) The first example of failing to keep watch in the Bible was by Adam. God told him in Genesis 2:15 to “keep” the garden. The word “keep” is the Hebrew word shamar, which is one of the three Old Testament words used for a watchman. One of the main concepts of the word involves protection and preservation. Adam was told to protect the garden, watching for attacks from the evil one, the serpent. Why do I assert this? Because first of all, it is much in keeping with the nature of God to have warned Adam. Not to have done so would have been inconsistent with God’s character. Second, neither Adam nor Eve seemed shocked when a snake talked to them. It evidently didn’t surprise them; they knew about the serpent! Third, what else could there have been before the Fall to guard, keep, or protect the garden from? Only the serpent.(7) From this first mention of the responsibility of watchmen, we can see that their first responsibility is to keep the serpent out of their God-given gardens. The serpent is always interloping, seeking to grab the greater portion. He has sunk his venomous fangs into many portions of America and the world. The fruit of his poisonous venom is evil and deadly. Pray with me: Father, our lack of understanding has enabled satan to take advantage of us in numerous ways. You are giving us the understanding that this does NOT have to be the case. Holy Spirit is willing and ready to alert us to our enemy’s plans and schemes as he attempts to steal, kill and destroy. He will reveal what is happening behind the scenes and show us how to pray. We ask for increased revelation of how to be watchmen for our families, homes, friends, leaders, and nations. Teach us more about this privilege. Help us to become more sensitive to the promptings of Holy Spirit as He alerts us to the plans of satan. And regarding our nation, You are awakening the Ekklesia to our responsibility of watching over our government, our schools and children, our cities, etc. We were asleep for many years and satan gained a great advantage. But we are now understanding our authority and taking back what he has stolen. You said in Scripture You would make Baal vomit up what he had stolen (Jeremiah 51:44). We will take back our schools, our children, our government, and our nation, in the name of Jesus! Taking Territory for Christ It is well worth considering that events in Scripture did not always happen as quickly as it appears they did. Though the book of Joshua can be read in a couple of hours, the conquest of Canaan under Joshua’s leadership took about seven years. The entire book covers a period of approximately 25 years. And at that point, all the tribes of Israel still had not fully conquered all of their territories (see Judges 1:27-36). At a later season in Israel’s history, after a grand and glorious beginning in the rebuilding of the Temple, they experienced a sixteen-year delay (see Ezra 3-4). Through the ministry of the prophet Haggai, courage and faith to continue were reborn. Delays, setbacks, and long-term campaigns are not uncommon in the Kingdom of God. Though Holy Spirit has facilitated an acceleration in the pace of world evangelization, endurance and patience are still key factors. Consider the following example: In the 1970s, Almolonga, Guatemala, was idolatrous and economically depressed. Alcoholism was rampant, poverty, and violence the norm. Families suffered terribly due to the depravity that ruled. The Gospel did not prosper; persecution of Christian leaders was common. In 1974, a series of five-hour prayer vigils began, and shortly thereafter, God began to move. Deliverance and healings began to break forth, even resurrections from the dead. Conversions began to take place at such a rate that 90 percent of the 19,000 people in Almolonga became evangelical Christians. The revival impacted every area of life: families, businesses, and even the produce of the land. Nicknamed “America’s Vegetable Garden,” the fields produced three harvests per year, with five-pound beets, carrots bigger than a man’s arm, and cabbages the size of basketballs. Crime disappeared so much that, in 1994, the last of the four jails closed. Aftershocks of the revival in Almolonga continued for years. There is hope for your city and mine. There is hope for America. We are not at the mercy of sin, sinners, politicians, satan, or demons. Refuse to place control of our destiny in any of these! Choose to believe God is wiser than the devil. If Yahweh wants to bring revival to America, and He does, then we can have revival. We, the Church, hold the keys. We are Christ’s body - His hands, feet, voice - and what He does, He will do through us. We are Plan A; there is no Plan B. No one said it would be easy. To the contrary, words such as persecution, tribulation, fight, warfare, wrestle, endurance, and others like them are all applied to believers in Scripture. But the words victory, faith, overcomer, conqueror, power authority, harvest, and miracle are also applied to us. I boldly declare: If we are willing to fully obey God, walk in faith and never give up, we can have anything God wants us to have. And that absolutely includes revival. Holy Spirit gave me the following instruction in 1988 which is linked to the process of revival: Study the watchman concept again. “I already understand the concept of watchmen,” was my humble response. I know more than you do, was Holy Spirit’s quick and confident answer. Study the concept of the watchman again! He was right, as usual. It was then that I discovered there was more to the concept of a watchman than just a defensive or protective meaning. There is also an offensive or aggressive aspect of watchman prayer. The Hebrew words for “watchman” are also translated as “to besiege,”(1) “spy,”(2) and “ambush”(3) (See Judges 1:24; 2 Samuel 11:16: Isaiah 1:8; Jeremiah 4:17; Psalm 56:6; 71:10). This is due to the fact that all of these activities involve watching. Then I heard Holy Spirit say: I am going to release a fresh anointing to the Church that will enable My people to take individuals, cities, regions, and nations for Me. New strategies will emerge, fresh concepts of discerning satan’s strongholds will be released (i.e., spying), and sieges will begin. This strategy will eventually break satan’s hold over people and places. This will be a broad work, with strategies coming from many different sources. I will reveal one part of My plan to one person, another part to others. This will take place simultaneously, and often one ministry or person will not even realize they are part of a larger plan. But as each does their part, I will be cutting off satan’s strength from different directions as My people obey Me. This was several years ago before terms such as prayer walking, prayer journeys, spiritual mapping, identificational repentance, reconciliation ceremonies, Ekklesia, and others were being used. They may have existed in some people’s thinking, but most of the Body of Christ had never heard them. And I am relatively certain some of these phrases did not exist at all. Since that time, literally millions of believers around the world have not only understood and embraced these concepts but have put them into practice! Of course, we have not “arrived” in our understanding, but we are progressing at an amazing pace. Twenty-five years ago, you had to look long and hard to find a ministry existing solely for the purpose of prayer. Now there are many. Several major denominations actually have entire departments committed to facilitating prayer in their churches. Much of the praying taking place falls under this category of watchman prayer. “Spying” has taken place as the enemy’s strongholds and plans have been uncovered, discerned, and understood. “Sieges” are underway through persistent prayer all over the world. I am so confident heaven’s strategies will not fail that I have a bold prediction: During the next several decades, testimonies like those of Almolonga will become common. Let’s pray into this. Pray with me: Father, thank You for the privilege of partnering with You to save the world. Thank You for bringing us into Your family and giving us the joy of expanding it. You want billions of kids and You will have them. Father, we know Holy Spirit has been on an incredible campaign to bring revelation to us of what it means to be the church. We are, indeed, Christ’s Ekklesia - His governing body on earth. We thank You, Jesus, for sharing Your authority with us. And Holy Spirit, thank You for the revelation, teaching, training, and maturity You have produced in us. We believe we are now moving into the application and fruit stage. You have orchestrated divine sieges through our prayer efforts, Lord. You are doing this all over the world. You have been cutting off supply lines to the enemy through repentance, discernment, intercession, and decrees. We ask You to now give us the fruit of all this. May the greatest campaign of world evangelization and kingdom expansion in history go to a new level this summer. Bring the body of Christ together in new ways. Merge the different streams on assignments. Use our distinctive gifts and understandings, maximize our strengths. Hover over the Flashpoint gathering in Atlanta this week. May the heavens literally shift as we gather for this meeting. Lead many believers to join us, both in person and through media. We are thrilled at what You are doing as You bring Your people together. We know that we will receive the answer to this prayer because we are praying according to Your will, and doing so in the name of Jesus. Amen. The Great Advantage I want to mention a dream today that I believe, in part, was about the Supreme Court overturning Roe. I addressed the dream, given to Greg Hood, with a fair amount of detail a few months back, so I will not revisit all of it. (I have included the entire dream at the end of the post.) In summary, the Ekklesia and kingdom of darkness were contending for America; this was pictured by a baseball game. The event was called the World Seers Series. Four batters on team Ekklesia faced the opposing pitcher. I and other prophetic voices felt that our four batters represented assignments and strategies in the four quarters of 2022. Without restating the details and complete interpretation, we felt the first quarter represented a concerted prayer effort to remove the hold of a religious spirit over America. The spirit of religion seeks to promote form without power, erode intimacy with God, remove Holy Spirit’s influence, and more (see 2 Timothy 3:5; Revelation 2:4, 3:1). We were given very specific assignments through which to do this, culminating with a private prayer gathering in Washington D.C., on 2/22. Though the fruit of this will take time to manifest, we are beginning to see signs of such, and are confident our assignment was accomplished. Again, without giving details, it seemed clear to us that the second quarter (April-June) was about abortion and the Supreme Court reversing Roe. Obviously, this occurred, with a week left in the quarter. Here is the portion of the dream that we feel applies to the upcoming third quarter of this year: “Dutch then called from the dugout, ‘Hamon you are up!’ “Jane Hamon grabbed a bat and stepped from the dugout. Dutch said to her, ‘They will position themselves at the wall because they know you can break the home run record with one swing of your bat. I feel you should bunt towards third.’ “She replied, ‘That's exactly what I was thinking. I have noticed that the third baseman does not have the rapidness in his eyes that he thinks he has.’ As Jane stood in the batter’s box we could see the number on her jersey: 4851. The pitcher mocked her as she waited for the pitch. He threw a fastball, high and just outside the corner of the plate, missing the strike zone. Jane stood still; she never even twitched. “Seeing this, the angel, Gabriel, our third base coach, looked at the runner on second base and gave him the signal to steal third as soon as the pitcher started his next wind-up. The pitcher drew back his arm and as soon as he did the runner left second base; he was so fast, it was almost as if he supernaturally appeared on third base. This confused the pitcher as he saw our runner out of the corner of his eye stepping on third base. He pitched the ball and it came to the plate. It was low and just outside the strike zone. “At this point, Dutch stepped outside our dugout and motioned to Jane to come over to him. He leaned in to her and said, ‘Let the next two pitches go through. No swinging at what he is throwing. This will give us the strategy we need to win this.’ Some thought Dutch was thinking the pitcher was tired and wouldn’t be able to throw any more strikes, that he would walk her. But this wasn’t the case. “Jane stepped back into the batter’s box and did as Dutch had coached her to do. The next pitch came hard and fast. ‘STRIKE ONE’ the umpire shouted, then laughed. The next pitch came as a change-up, very slowly. ‘STRIKE TWO!’ “Jane stepped out of the batter’s box and took a deep breath looking back at Dutch. He motioned Jane back to where he was standing and said, ‘The count is 2 and 2. We are at the right point to bunt down the third baseline.’ “Jane approached the plate again and positioned herself. The pitcher released a curve ball. She bunted it down the third baseline, which caught the third baseman off guard. (Batters don’t normally bunt with 2 strikes; if they bunt a foul ball, they’re out.) He moved very slowly and retrieved the ball, but he didn’t throw it to first base out of fear that our runner on third would advance to home plate. Consequently, our runner on first easily moved to second and Jane ran to first. Now the bases were loaded.” (End of this part of the dream.) There is more to the dream, but I believe this portion is about the third quarter of the year. Our third batter, Jane Hamon, could have tried for a home run. She was obviously capable, and to have successfully done so would have broken the home run record. Her actions speak of humility. I believe Holy Spirit is saying this is a time for the Ekklesia to walk in humility. This is not a time to gloat over the victory we just achieved. It isn’t a time to mock and belittle those who disagree with us. If we do so, we will alienate those we want to reach. Also, pride will cause us to fail. Take the humble approach. Jane was unmoved by the enemy’s mocking and the pitches he was throwing. “No swinging at what he is throwing,” she was told. “Jane stood still; she never even twitched.” This is a warning to not be distracted by what satan does during this season. We must listen to Holy Spirit’s strategies, not be moved by what the powers of darkness say or do. The dream shows that God has a plan to surprise the enemy, the powers of darkness, in this season. They were expecting Jane to attempt a home run but she was instructed not to do so. She was to bunt, and do so at a time when they would never have expected it. God has surprises coming. Jane is a prophet. I believe the dream shows us that God is going to give very important strategies to prophetic leaders in this season. We must listen closely to them. I also believe it is a caution to prophets, and we who are prophetic, to walk in the humility demonstrated by Jane. We must not sensationalize, try to hit “home runs” with our revelation, prophetic words, etc. We must listen carefully to Holy Spirit and only say what He gives us to say. And lastly, the number Jane wore on her jersey is the number of the Greek word (in Strongs concordance) meaning, “to bring together, causing an advantage.” This is the word Jesus used in John 16:7 when He said it was to our “advantage” that He went back to Heaven. This was because He would send Holy Spirit to us. In his fleshly body, Jesus could only be in one place at a time. When Holy Spirit came, He would be IN us, not just with us, and could be in/with all of us, all the time. I believe this is telling us Holy Spirit is “coming,” being “sent” to us - that He is about to be poured out in powerful and unexpected ways over the summer months. He, and He alone, is our advantage. Only His strategies, power and presence will give us victory. We must humble ourselves and ask for Him to move in exceptional ways - starting now. This “coming” was made possible by the Supreme Court’s ruling. Holy Spirit is now about to “load the bases,” positioning us to win the game. America shall be saved! The shaking must and will continue. But we must not be alarmed or distracted by this. It is what we have asked for - the exposing and removing of evil in our land. Keep appealing to Heaven, church. It still works! Pray with me: Father, we thank You once again for Your deliverance from the evil decree of Roe. We believe that in Your mercy You are cleansing us from the national, corporate defilement it brought upon us. Wash us in the blood of Jesus. May it flow from Your mercy seat to the heart of our nation. We thank You also for delivering us from the effects of a religious spirit: having a form of godliness without power, a reputation that we’re alive when, in reality, spiritual death controls us. Forgive us for rejecting Holy Spirit. We now turn ourselves to the next [third] quarter of this year. As we do, we humble ourselves before You. No victory we gain is from our own strength. You are the strength of our lives. You are the greater One. Holy Spirit, we ask You to come to us in extraordinary ways. Come in power, revelation, salvation, and deliverance. You are our advantage; You make the difference. May the next three months mark a distinct shift in Your activity in and across this nation. Shake what must be shaken; strengthen that which remains. Refresh the leadership of Your Ekklesia, especially those who lead us prophetically. We ask for them to be fine-tuned, more so than ever before. We ask that they be convicted by You to weigh their words very carefully, to listen until they are confident they are releasing only Your words. And we ask that all of us are reminded to be alert. Enable us to recognize the attacks and strategies of the enemy meant to distract us. We declare now that by Your grace and strength we will not be distracted in this season. We pray all of these things in Christ’s name, Father. Amen. Our decree: We declare that Holy Spirit is our great advantage - He will not fail! Click on the link below to watch the full video. ______________________________________________________________________________ The World Seer Series Dream (Dreamed early the morning of January 2, 2022, by Dr. Greg Hood) As the dream started I could see that we were in a baseball stadium. I knew we were playing on our home field which in the dream was known as Royal Stadium. I also knew that the stadium was located in Washington D.C. All the seats in the stadium were filled with people. I knew the people in the seats were mostly Americans. A smaller portion of the people were from somewhere I had never heard of. The attendees were there to watch what we knew was the World Seers Series. Dutch and I coached one of the teams playing in the World Seer’s Series. (Our team was the Election prayer team, and more.) It was the final game in the series and we were ahead. It was our turn to bat. Dutch was the Head Coach of the team. He wrote out a new batting order, and hung it in our dugout for the team to see. The atmosphere in the dugout changed somewhat, with some thinking that the old batting order was better than the order Dutch had rewritten. We had a home-field advantage. It was the bottom of the 8th inning and we were winning. The scoreboard displayed the score of 20 for the opposing team and 22 for our team. I could see clearly on the scoreboard our team name - Kingdom Ekklesia. I could not make out the name of the opposing team; their name was very blurry. The mood shifted in our dugout as our team made an effort to encourage one another. We knew we were in the last innings of this game and the game was tight. We didn’t take anything for granted now. We focused intensely. We were the underdog, it seemed, and there was great urgency to win this game for the nation. Dutch shouted, “Smith, lead us off!” Smith stepped from the dugout, but before making his way to home plate I said to him, “The ball needs to be hit straight down the first baseline with great force. Your assignment is to remove the hindrance that’s guarding first base.” As Smith walked toward home plate we could see he was wearing the number 5221 on his jersey. He stepped into the batter’s box and the pitcher threw him a curveball. He hit it so hard down the first baseline that the first baseman could not see it coming. It struck him on the side of his neck and incapacitated him. Anger became very evident in the opposing team because they now had no first baseman. The umpire at first base held Smith on first and would not allow him to advance. Ken Malone was coaching first base and begin to speak to Smith. He instructed him to watch the third base coach for he would give the sign he needed to steal second. Coaching third base was the Archangel, Gabriel. Dutch then said, “Jones, you are up. We need advancement. You know the pitch you are looking for!” Jones said to Dutch, “I feel a confidence that I have never felt before. The pitcher will not be able to resist throwing me my pitch.” Before Jones approached the batter’s box I said to him, “The guy in left field is expecting you to hit it high and long. Hit it high and short into left field. He won’t be able to adjust his position in time to catch you out.” Jones smiled with a big grin and said, “This is what I was built for. I was born to give ‘left field’ problems.” We could see the numbers on his jersey as he walked to the batter’s box. He was wearing the number 2388. Just before the pitcher released the ball, Gabriel gave Smith the sign to steal. Smith shot from first and stole second. The pitch landed just in front of home plate. The umpire called it a strike. Jones looked at Dutch for the correction. Dutch came out of the dugout very quickly and proceeded toward the umpire with fire in his eyes, and as he pointed his finger at the umpire he declared, “YOU WILL REVERSE THIS CALL AND GIVE IT BACK! YOU DO NOT HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO CHANGE THE STRIKE ZONE!” The umpire reversed the call immediately. I could tell in the dream that it weakened his authority on the field when Dutch addressed him this way. Before stepping back into the batter’s box, Jones looked at the pitcher and said, “You don’t have the nerve to throw me my pitch. You don’t have the ability to cause me to miss it. Throw that ‘cutter’ and I will hit it.” You could see the anger and pride on the pitcher’s face. He drew back and threw Jones his pitch. He threw it hard and fast. Jones hit it high and shallow into left field. The left fielder called it which stopped any of his other teammates from advancing toward the ball. The left fielder ran forward for the ball and as he did this he was watching the spin Jones had put on the ball. This confused him and caused him to trip, which caused him to miss the ball. When he fell, he dislocated both of his knees and could not stand back up. Jones easily made it to first base. Smith stayed at second. Dutch then called from the dugout, “Johnson, you are up!” (When I first shared this dream, I had not yet received permission to use Jane Hamon’s name, so I used the fictitious name of Johnson.) Johnson took a bat in her hand and stepped from the dugout and I said to her, “They will position themselves at the wall because they know you can break the home run record with one swing of your bat. I feel you should bunt towards third.” She replied, “That’s exactly what I was thinking. I have noticed that he does not have the rapidness in his eyes that he thinks he has.” As Johnson stood in the batter’s box we once again could see the number on the jersey. Her number was 4851. The pitcher mocked her as she stood there waiting for the pitch. He threw a fastball high and just outside the corner of the plate missing the strike zone. Johnson stood still. She never even twitched. Seeing this, Gabriel looked at Smith and gave him the signal to steal third as soon as the pitcher started his next wind-up. The pitcher drew back his arm and as soon as he did, Smith left second base and it was almost as if he just appeared on third. This confused the pitcher as he caught Smith out of the corner of his eye stepping onto third base. He released the ball and it came to the plate again this time, low and just outside the strike zone. Dutch stepped outside our dugout and motioned to Johnson to come over to him. He leaned into her ear and said, “Let the next two pitches go through. No swinging at what he is throwing. This will give us the strategy we need to win this.” Some thought that Dutch was thinking that the pitcher was done and he did not have any more strikes left in his arm. Johnson stepped back to the batter’s box and did as Dutch had coached her to do. The next pitch came hard and fast. “STRIKE ONE” the umpire shouted and then laughed. The second pitch came as a change-up pitch and was very slow. “STRIKE TWO!” Johnson stepped out of the batter’s box and took a deep breath looking back at Coach Dutch. Dutch motioned Johnson back to where he was standing and said, “The count is 2 and 2. We are in the right place to bunt it down the third baseline.” She approached the plate again and positioned herself. The pitcher released a curveball. Johnson stepped into it and bunted down the third baseline. It caught the third baseman off guard. No one had ever bunted on this pitch before. He moved very slowly and retrieved the ball. He held it in fear that Smith would advance to home plate. Jones easily moved to second and Johnson took first. Now the bases were loaded. The coach and the catcher from the other team went out to the pitcher’s mound and began speaking with the pitcher. In the dream, we could tell there was much disagreement among them. It even seemed that the pitcher had authority over the coach of the other team. As we were watching this, a phone rang in our dugout. Dutch answered it. We could see him looking up and behind home plate into one of the skyboxes as he talked on the phone. He was speaking to our team owner. The owner of the team said to Dutch, “You are to pinch-hit. We have a wicket here to not only win the game but to win big.” He went on to say, “Dutch, you know this pitcher. He has lost big games before. He is not what he has made himself out to be. Be patient and don’t be distracted by what he will throw at you. He wants to get your eyes off the pennant.” Dutch hung up the phone and said, “Hood, hand me my bat. I’ve been instructed to pinch-hit.” I reached for Dutch’s bat and pulled it from a large wooden communion box that it was locked away in. As I removed it I could see clearly that the bat had inscribed on it Ephesians 1:17. I handed it to Dutch as he said to me, “What direction should I launch the ball?” I said to Dutch, “Straight for the throat of the pitcher! Remove his voice!” Dutch replied with a smile on his face, “You know, many will think this is a dirty and illegal move on our part. But what the heck, we won’t allow them to force us to play by their rules anymore. We play ball for the Royals.” As Dutch walked to the batter’s box I said, “If you hit the mark it will change this game.” The pitcher approached the batter’s box and as Dutch stepped into it, said to him, “I am here to take you and this weak team out once and for all. You have no hope of making it out of this batter’s box in your right mind. This is my season and you will not steal it from me!” Dutch stepped up to him, just an inch of his face, and spoke with a firm and bold voice, “I am here to uncover you. Now go back to your perch and throw the ball if you dare!” As he walked back to the pitcher’s mound we could see his name on the back of his jersey. (Remember thus far in the dream we did not know who he was or who this team was.) Written there was the name, “Zephon.” He released his first pitch and it was not aimed anywhere close to home plate. It went over the stadium wall behind home plate and hit a bus that was parked in the parking lot. It put a large dent in the back left side of that bus. An alarm sounded with a very distinct sound. We knew this was our team’s bus. The umpire shouted, “STRIKE ONE!” The coach came to the pitcher’s mound again and brought the pitcher, Zephon, another baseball glove. It was a left-hander’s glove and an old greasy-looking ball. The pitcher had been pitching right-handed the entire game up until now. He went into his wind-up and released the ball; it flew into the dugout. The umpire shouted, “STRIKE TWO!” The umpire spoke to the pitcher, “You only have one strike left.” It was at this time in the dream that we noticed the umpire was wearing a white doctor’s-type coat that had the insignia of a Pharmacist on it. Dutch turned to the umpire and said to him, "You are no longer allowed to call this game; we remove you, and Michael will take your place!” (I don’t know who Michael was in the dream but am thinking the angel.) Dutch then turned to the pitcher and said, “Throw your ball. This is your last pitch but not my last ball! I will deliver the third strike to you and your house!” Zephon threw the ball and Dutch hit it with a powerful swing. The ball went to its mark and struck the throat of the pitcher taking his voice and his strength. Zephon was removed from the game. We knew in the dream the game had changed and this pitcher would never pitch again. End of Dream

The World Seer Series (Part 3) On Monday (1/10/2022) we began discussing a dream given to my friend Greg Hood. This is a very enlightening and important dream, filled with insight and revelation. (Though we are looking at it in segments, I will once again post the entire dream at the end of today’s post. I know some of you would like to see the entire dream in one sitting.) REVIEW In the first part of the dream a baseball team, comprised of spiritual leaders in the church and representing the Kingdom of God, was playing in the World Seers Series. This was the last game of the series, the 8th inning, we were winning but the score was close, and we were very focused. Then, Holy Spirit initiated a change of strategy. We discussed all of this on Monday. Yesterday (1/11/2022) we looked at the need for intercession first and foremost. If the church prays, we will win the battle for the soul of America. Prayer incapacitated the enemy! We also saw that Holy Spirit is saying the Ekklesia has grown spiritually and is ready for this season. And we saw a likely reference to the courts/judicial system in this section. They were made to reverse bad calls/rulings. These summaries in no way do justice to this dream. THE DREAM (continued) “Dutch then called from the dugout, ‘Johnson, you are up!’ [Again, not the person’s real name.] “Johnson took a bat in her hand and stepped from the dugout. I feel you should bunt towards third.’ “Johnson replied, ‘That’s exactly what I was thinking. He motioned her back to where he was standing and said, ‘The count is 2 and 2. We are in the right place to bunt it down the third baseline.’ “She approached the plate again and positioned herself. The pitcher released a curveball. Johnson bunted down the third baseline, which caught the third baseman off guard. No one had ever bunted on this pitch before. He moved very slowly and retrieved the ball, but held it in fear that Smith would advance to home plate. Jones easily moved to second and Johnson took first. Now the bases were loaded. “The coach and the catcher from the other team went out to the pitcher’s mound and began speaking with the pitcher. In the dream, we could tell there was much disagreement among them. It even seemed that the pitcher had authority over the coach of the other team. MY THOUGHTS Johnson, in real life, is a strong prophetic voice to the body of Christ. She also walks in other anointings but this is what she is most known for. Her jersey number in the dream, as with all the player’s numbers, is very significant. It’s the number of a Greek word meaning “to bring together;” or “to bear together (as in a load or weight).” Because of the concept of 2 or more working together, it is also the word for holding or gaining an advantage. Perhaps its most significant use is in John 16:7, where Jesus said, “But I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I am leaving; for if I do not leave, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.” (NASV) Through this God is saying we must get Holy Spirit in the game. He will be our advantage! Listen to Him. Release His power. Follow His strategy. Notice the dream said of this person, filled with and empowered by Holy Spirit, “…you can break the home run record with one swing of your bat.” This indicates power, the power of Holy Spirit! And yet! The strategy was not to try for a home run, but to bunt. I feel this is the Father saying it is our weakness that makes us strong, for His strength is perfected or made complete in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9-10). Though satan believes he has won the war for the soul of America - notice that he was mocking us - God has other plans. And if we humble ourselves at this time, acknowledging our weakness but moving in His strength, we’ll win. After allowing the opposing pitcher to throw two pitches that were outside the strike zone, I instructed her to not swing at the next two pitches, regardless of whether they were in the strike zone or not. She did as I instructed and they were both called strikes. Now the count was 2 balls and 2 strikes. This was the strategy chosen by Holy Spirit in the dream in order to catch the opposing team by surprise. Typically, no batter bunts with two strikes against them. The reason is that, unlike swinging at a pitch, if a batter bunts at it with two strikes against them and fouls the ball, they are out. When swinging at pitches with two strikes against them, a batter can hit any number of foul balls and still not be out. In other words, in the dream God is telling us Holy Spirit has a plan to take satan by surprise. This surprise loaded the bases. God always outsmarts His enemies…always. Dissension then began in satan‘s camp. The catcher, coach, and pitcher began arguing. This is telling us God is going to bring confusion and disagreement to those opposing Him. They will begin to fight amongst themselves. And in tomorrow’s post, we will see how God intends to win this war for America. Pray with me: Father, thank You for Your amazing gift, the Holy Spirit. He is our advantage. Help us get Him in the game, following Him carefully and precisely in this hour. We ask that His voice be amplified. May His directions be clear to us. And may we have ears to hear. Holy Spirit, we have sung it and now we say it to You, “You are welcome in our places of worship, prayer, and activities. You are in charge!” We thank You, Father, for the plans You have in place. You already know how You are going to outwit the enemy. You will cause him to play into Your hands, and his plans for America and the earth will fail. Show us how to cooperate with this. We thank You for these things and ask them in Christ’s name. Amen. By Greg Hood) As the dream started I could see that we were in a baseball stadium. I knew we were playing on our home field which in the dream was known as Royal Stadium. I also knew that the stadium was located in Washington D.C. All the seats in the stadium were filled with people. I knew the people in the seats were mostly Americans. A smaller portion of the people were from somewhere I had never heard of. The attendees were there to watch what we knew was the World Seers Series. Dutch and I coached one of the teams playing in the World Seer’s Series. (Our team was the Election prayer team, and more.) It was the final game in the series and we were ahead. It was our turn to bat. Dutch was the Head Coach of the team. He wrote out a new batting order, and hung it in our dugout for the team to see. The atmosphere in the dugout changed somewhat, with some thinking that the old batting order was better than the order Dutch had rewritten. We had home-field advantage. It was the bottom of the 8th inning and we were winning. The scoreboard displayed the score of 20 for the opposing team and 22 for our team. I could see clearly on the scoreboard our team name - Kingdom Ekklesia. I could not make out the name of the opposing team; their name was very blurry. The mood shifted in our dugout as our team made an effort to encourage one another. We knew we were in the last innings of this game and the game was tight. We didn’t take anything for granted now. We focused intensely. We were the underdog, it seemed, and there was great urgency to win this game for the nation. Dutch shouted, “Smith, lead us off!” Smith stepped from the dugout, but before making his way to home plate I said to him, “The ball needs to be hit straight down the first baseline with great force. Your assignment is to remove the hindrance that’s guarding first base.” As Smith walked toward home plate we could see he was wearing the number 5221 on his jersey. He stepped into the batter’s box and the pitcher threw him a curveball. He hit it so hard down the first baseline that the first baseman could not see it coming. It struck him on the side of his neck and incapacitated him. Anger became very evident in the opposing team because they now had no first baseman. The umpire at first base held Smith on first and would not allow him to advance. Ken Malone was coaching first base and begin to speak to Smith. He instructed him to watch the third base coach for he would give the sign he needed to steal second. Coaching third base was the Archangel, Gabriel. Dutch then said, “Jones, you are up. We need advancement. You know the pitch you are looking for!” Jones said to Dutch, “I feel a confidence that I have never felt before. The pitcher will not be able to resist throwing me my pitch.” Before Jones approached the batter’s box I said to him, “The guy in left field is expecting you to hit it high and long. Hit it high and short into left field. He won’t be able to adjust his position in time to catch you out.” Jones smiled with a big grin and said, “This is what I was built for. I was born to give ‘left field’ problems.” We could see the numbers on his jersey as he walked to the batter’s box. He was wearing the number 2388. Just before the pitcher released the ball, Gabriel gave Smith the sign to steal. Smith shot from first and stole second. The pitch landed just in front of home plate. The umpire called it a strike. Jones looked at Dutch for the correction. Dutch came out of the dugout very quickly and proceeded toward the umpire with fire in his eyes, and as he pointed his finger at the umpire he declared, “YOU WILL REVERSE THIS CALL AND GIVE IT BACK! YOU DO NOT HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO CHANGE THE STRIKE ZONE!” The umpire reversed the call immediately. I could tell in the dream that it weakened his authority on the field when Dutch addressed him this way. Before stepping back into the batter’s box, Jones looked at the pitcher and said, “You don’t have the nerve to throw me my pitch. You don’t have the ability to cause me to miss it. Throw that ‘cutter’ and I will hit it.” You could see the anger and pride on the pitcher’s face. He drew back and threw Jones his pitch. He threw it hard and fast. Jones hit it high and shallow into left field. The left fielder called it which stopped any of his other teammates from advancing toward the ball. The left fielder ran forward for the ball and as he did this he was watching the spin Jones had put on the ball. This confused him and caused him to trip, which caused him to miss the ball. When he fell, he dislocated both of his knees and could not stand back up. Jones easily made it to first base. Smith stayed at second. Dutch then called from the dugout, “Johnson, you are up!” Johnson took a bat in her hand and stepped from the dugout and I said to her, “They will position themselves at the wall because they know you can break the home run record with one swing of your bat. I feel you should bunt towards third.” She replied, “That’s exactly what I was thinking. I have noticed that he does not have the rapidness in his eyes that he thinks he has.” As Johnson stood in the batter’s box we once again could see the number on the jersey. Her number was 4851. The pitcher mocked her as she stood there waiting for the pitch. He threw a fastball high and just outside the corner of the plate missing the strike zone. Johnson stood still. She never even twitched. Seeing this, Gabriel looked at Smith and gave him the signal to steal third as soon as the pitcher started his next wind-up. The pitcher drew back his arm and as soon as he did, Smith left second base and it was almost as if he just appeared on third. This confused the pitcher as he caught Smith out of the corner of his eye stepping onto third base. He released the ball and it came to the plate again this time, low and just outside the strike zone. Dutch stepped outside our dugout and motioned to Johnson to come over to him. He leaned into her ear and said, “Let the next two pitches go through. No swinging at what he is throwing. This will give us the strategy we need to win this.” Some thought that Dutch was thinking that the pitcher was done and he did not have any more strikes left in his arm. Johnson stepped back to the batter’s box and did as Dutch had coached her to do. The next pitch came hard and fast. “STRIKE ONE” the umpire shouted and then laughed. The second pitch came as a change-up pitch and was very slow. “STRIKE TWO!” Johnson stepped out of the batter’s box and took a deep breath looking back at Coach Dutch. Dutch motioned Johnson back to where he was standing and said, “The count is 2 and 2. We are in the right place to bunt it down the third baseline.” She approached the plate again and positioned herself. The pitcher released a curveball. Johnson stepped into it and bunted down the third baseline. It caught the third baseman off guard. No one had ever bunted on this pitch before. He moved very slowly and retrieved the ball. He held it in fear that Smith would advance to home plate. Jones easily moved to second and Johnson took first. Now the bases were loaded. The coach and the catcher from the other team went out to the pitcher’s mound and began speaking with the pitcher. In the dream, we could tell there was much disagreement among them. It even seemed that the pitcher had authority over the coach of the other team. As we were watching this, a phone rang in our dugout. Dutch answered it. We could see him looking up and behind home plate into one of the skyboxes as he talked on the phone. He was speaking to our team owner. The owner of the team said to Dutch, “You are to pinch-hit. We have a wicket here to not only win the game but to win big.” He went on to say, “Dutch, you know this pitcher. He has lost big games before. He is not what he has made himself out to be. Be patient and don’t be distracted by what he will throw at you. He wants to get your eyes off the pennant.” Dutch hung up the phone and said, “Hood, hand me my bat. I’ve been instructed to pinch-hit.” I reached for Dutch’s bat and pulled it from a large wooden communion box that it was locked away in. As I removed it I could see clearly that the bat had inscribed on it Ephesians 1:17. I handed it to Dutch as he said to me, “What direction should I launch the ball?” I said to Dutch, “Straight for the throat of the pitcher! Remove his voice!” Dutch replied with a smile on his face, “You know, many will think this is a dirty and illegal move on our part. But what the heck, we won’t allow them to force us to play by their rules anymore. We play ball for the Royals.” As Dutch walked to the batter’s box I said, “If you hit the mark it will change this game.” The pitcher approached the batter’s box and as Dutch stepped into it, said to him, “I am here to take you and this weak team out once and for all. You have no hope of making it out of this batter’s box in your right mind. This is my season and you will not steal it from me!” Dutch stepped up to him, just an inch of his face, and spoke with a firm and bold voice, “I am here to uncover you. Now go back to your perch and throw the ball if you dare!” As he walked back to the pitcher’s mound we could see his name on the back of his jersey. (Remember thus far in the dream we did not know who he was or who this team was.) Written there was the name, “Zephon.” He released his first pitch and it was not aimed anywhere close to home plate. It went over the stadium wall behind home plate and hit a bus that was parked in the parking lot. It put a large dent in the back left side of that bus. An alarm sounded with a very distinct sound. We knew this was our team’s bus. The umpire shouted, “STRIKE ONE!” The coach came to the pitcher’s mound again and brought the pitcher, Zephon, another baseball glove. It was a left-hander’s glove and an old greasy-looking ball. The pitcher had been pitching right-handed the entire game up until now. He went into his wind-up and released the ball; it flew into the dugout. The umpire shouted, “STRIKE TWO!” The umpire spoke to the pitcher, “You only have one strike left.” It was at this time in the dream that we noticed the umpire was wearing a white doctor’s-type coat that had the insignia of a Pharmacist on it. Dutch turned to the umpire and said to him, "You are no longer allowed to call this game; we remove you, and Michael will take your place!” (I don’t know who Michael was in the dream but am thinking the angel.) Dutch then turned to the pitcher and said, “Throw your ball. This is your last pitch but not my last ball! I will deliver the third strike to you and your house!” Zephon threw the ball and Dutch hit it with a powerful swing. The ball went to its mark and struck the throat of the pitcher taking his voice and his strength. Zephon was removed from the game. We knew in the dream the game had changed and this pitcher would never pitch again. End of Dream

We Are the Post-Roe Generation America changed on Friday [June 24, 2022]. Some of us are ecstatic; others are angry. The following quotes make clear the vast distinctions between the pro-life and pro-abortion camps in America: “This is a great day in American history, especially for the millions of children whose innocent lives will be spared from the horrors of abortion in the years to come. For too long Roe V. Wade has poisoned our courts, our culture, and our laws. Today’s decision corrects the grave constitutional error of Roe v. Wade - and finally gives the American people, through their elected representatives, the power to fix America’s extreme abortion laws and enshrine protections for the unborn in law,” says Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts. (1) Students for Life President Kristan Hawkins said, “The injustice of Roe has finally come to an end, and the momentum to protect life in law is finally on the side of innocent preborn children, and their mothers who deserve our help. Roe v. Wade has been a cancer…resulting in more than 63 million deaths. Today, the court has cut it out and that’s a win. Now we get back to building up a healthy society, affirming life for women and their children - born and preborn.” (2) Rev. Franklin Graham stated, “The United States Supreme Court just announced one of the most significant rulings in my lifetime - officially voting to overturn the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision [which] was ‘egregiously wrong from the start,’ as stated by Justice Samuel Alito.” (3) Dr. Alveda King shares, “I have longed for and fought for this day. A giant victory for the moment, but much work is yet to be done! I will continue to fight for human dignity for everyone - from the womb to the tomb.” (4) Former President Barack Obama tweeted, “Today, the Supreme Court not only reversed nearly 50 years of precedent, it relegated the most intensely personal decision someone can make to the whims of politicians and ideologues - attacking the essential freedom of millions of Americans.” (5) On Friday House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said, “The ‘Republican-controlled’ Supreme Court achieved the GOP’s dark and extreme goal of ripping away women’s right to make their own reproductive health decisions. American women today have less freedom than their mothers. With Roe now out of their way, radical Republicans are charging ahead with their crusade to criminalize health freedom. A woman’s fundamental health decisions are her own to make, in consultation with her doctor and her loved ones - not to be dictated by far-right politicians.” Pelosi continues, “While Republicans seek to punish and control women, Democrats will keep fighting ferociously to enshrine Roe v. Wade into law. This cruel ruling is outrageous and heart-wrenching. But make no mistake: the rights of women and all Americans are on the ballot this November.” (6) I can’t keep from commenting on this. The derangement of calling this Supreme Court decision “cruel,” “outrageous,” and “heart-wrenching” is a profound and chilling indictment on the inhuman thinking of Nancy Pelosi. She is strongly influenced by evil. “Today is one of the darkest days our country has ever seen,” says Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer. “American women are having their rights taken by 5 unelected Justices on the extremist MAGA court…These justices - appointed by Republicans and presiding without accountability - have stolen the fundamental right to abortion.” (7) And last but not least, written on t-shirts and placards being worn and held by young adults standing in front of the Supreme court, were the words, “I am the Post-Roe Generation.” (8) I have been very vocal about where I stand on abortion, as well as the need for the church to be engaged in prayer, voting, and other activities in order to end this evil. The Dobbs ruling did NOT end abortion in America - it simply sends the decision back to the states and, therefore, the people - but it was a GREAT victory. It ended “Hamon’s” evil decree. (see Esther 3) Responsibility for sins and the reaping they produce occurs not only on a personal level, but also corporately. “Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a disgrace to any people,” (Proverbs 14:34). In scripture, judgments for sin occurred in the lives of individuals, but also in nations. Israel was judged several times for their corporate turning away from God. The book of Judges gives multiple examples of this taking place. Here is one of them: “All that generation also were gathered to their fathers; and there arose another generation after them who did not know the Lord, nor yet the work which He had done for Israel. Then the sons of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord and served the Baals, and they forsook the Lord, the God of their fathers, who had brought them out of the land of Egypt, and followed other gods from among the gods of the peoples who were around them, and bowed themselves down to them; thus they provoked the Lord to anger. So they forsook the Lord and served Baal and the Ashtaroth. The anger of the Lord burned against Israel, and He gave them into the hands of plunderers who plundered them; and He sold them into the hands of their enemies around them, so that they could no longer stand before their enemies. Wherever they went, the hand of the Lord was against them for evil, as the Lord had spoken and as the Lord had sworn to them, so that they were severely distressed.” (Judges 2:10-15; NASB) Since the 1990s, I have been saying the “strong man” over America (see Matthew 12:29), Baal, lives at the Supreme Court. I’ve stated that they have opened the door for more evil to flow into America than any other group or authority. The evil and destruction their decisions have created are, quite literally, immeasurable. Not only have these rulings resulted in tens of millions of murders, but also of a consequent culture of death in America. Add to this other rulings that reject God’s (and the Scripture’s) influence, break His laws and redefine His covenants (marriage) - and the devastation has been unfathomable. In every presidential election of the past 30 years, I’ve warned that “It’s about the Courts.” Why? The president appoints the Supreme Court Justices and Federal Judges. The election of Donald Trump caused a major shift and breakthrough in this regard. He appointed 3 conservative, Constitutionalist, pro-life Justices. The result: with the Supreme Court’s reversal of Roe, a law/decree that brought devastating judgments on us as a nation has been canceled. This will now allow national cleansing to occur and permit the fruit of righteousness to flow down on our nation, at least in this regard. America’s most egregious sin - this national law/decree legalizing the murder of babies - has been reversed and our covenant with death has been broken (see Isaiah 28:18). This reversal is the first and most important step toward the ending of the death culture in America. The church should begin to pray for the ending of murders, including mass shootings. Our prayers will now have more influence in this regard. Also, I believe the Lord recently spoke to me that the ending of Roe will now allow Him to deal with states on an individual basis rather than the entire nation. The states that stand for life will experience blessing; those whose leaders harden their hearts will not. HOWEVER, I also believe I heard Him say that the people who stand for life in pro-abortion states can be covered, protected, and blessed. And I believe I heard one more thing: as an individual state’s cup of iniquity becomes full (Genesis 15:16), He will begin judging and removing those in its government who make the evil laws. God wants to redeem people, not judge them. He can judge the wicked while blessing the righteous. He can send revival to a state while removing deterrents, including people. The judgment of evil leaders and systems will be salvation and blessing to many people. We must pray for this to occur in states whose governments are now pro-death. So, my praying friend, while Goliath’s head was indeed cut off, we must persist and not grow weary until abortion in America is only in our history books. Pray with me: Father, thank You for hearing our prayers and enabling America to reverse the evil, evil decree of Roe. We know it is not the end of the journey. We realize that millions of hearts will have to change through the coming awakening, causing a reformation of laws and actions, in order to see this shedding of innocent blood stop. We are praying toward this end and we know we are praying Your will. But for this incredible breakthrough, the reversing of Haman‘s evil decree, we thank You. We pray that the cleansing from this sin will cause a heightened level of revelation, opening the eyes of people to the evil of abortion. We pray that it will cause the hold of the spirit of death to be broken off of our nation, resulting in fewer murders and suicides. We pray that as the cups of iniquity continue to fill for unrighteous government officials, You will remove them from their positions and free the people from their unrighteous rule. Send revival to liberal, leftist strongholds! And we pray that the minds of the young generation of Americans - those who have been indoctrinated by ungodly educators and leaders - would be freed supernaturally fast through the coming revival. This generation is destined to experience and participate in the greatest revival in history. We pray now for their liberation and the shift of their paradigms to come quickly. Save and deliver them, we pray, in the mighty name of Jesus! Should We Look Back in Order to Move Forward? There are four concepts, embodied in four biblical words that are helpful in fulfilling our purpose and destiny. These concepts apply to both individuals and nations. Understanding them will help you greatly as you navigate around roadblocks, detours, setbacks, and delays. Prooizo The first of them is prooizo. The root word, horizo, means to mark out a boundary, the farthest reaches of a territory. You can easily see the English word horizon in this Greek word. The horizon is the farthest point visible in the distance. The prefix “pro” is the equivalent of “pre” in English, indicating something is being done “in advance” or” ahead of time.” When proorizo is used in scripture it indicates that God has determined our destinies, our futures, the boundaries and horizons of our lives...in advance! This is often the word translated as ”predestine” in Scripture. “For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren,” (Romans 8:29). The fact we have been pre-destined by God does not mean we have no choice or free will - that everything which happens to us was pre-planned by Him. It simply means God has a pre-planned destiny for us. Our responsibility is to make the right decisions in order to accomplish that destiny. Proetoimazo The second word is proetoimazo, which means to fit or measure in advance, much like a tailor or seamstress would do when making clothing for an individual. The word is used in Ephesians 2:10: “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them,” (NASB). This verse is actually saying God “measured” or “fitted” us in advance for the works He intended us to do. Knowing the plans He had for us, our Creator knew the gifts, personalities, abilities, etc. we would need in order to accomplish them. As He wove us in our mother’s womb He worked those traits into our minds and bodies. We have everything we need to accomplish all God purposed for us. Prothesis The third word is prothesis. This Greek word is the origin of our English word “thesis.” A thesis explains the plan, purpose, intent, or operation of something. The word is often translated “purpose” in the New Testament: “[God] has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity,” (2 Timothy 1:9; NASB). God wrote a plan, purpose, and intention for our lives before we were ever born (see also Psalm 139:13-16). Again, this does not remove from us the power of choice or free will but means there is a pre-planned purpose God wrote for us. We must draw near to Him, allowing Holy Spirit to steer us in the right directions and give us the needed training to accomplish this purpose. Achariyth The fourth word, a Hebrew word for “destiny,” gives an added and important dimension of understanding. Achariyth, is used in Jeremiah 29:11. “For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future (achariyth) and a hope.” Interestingly, that which is behind and that which is ahead comes from the same Hebrew word. The explanation for this is that Hebrews pictured a person moving toward her or his future as one rowing a boat: they back into their future. Listen carefully. The best way to propel a rowboat is to do so with your back toward the direction in which you’re heading. As you row backward, which is actually forward, you cannot stay on course if your head is continually turned to look behind you. The angle of your body will cause you to angle the boat. The key is to find a reference point in the direction you are facing and align it with your destination behind you. Then you can row toward your destination without constantly turning your head around to look behind you. To state this another way, your reference point is in the past, where you have already been, behind you. You are using your past to reach your future. The spiritual meaning is that we move forward, in part, by keeping ourselves reminded of what God has done, shown us, or told us in the past. Our faith is anchored in this, starting with His word. We cannot see all of the future, but we can see His promises. We can hold fast to and align ourselves with what He has said. We are “rowing” by faith. It is no revelation that God does not share all the details of our future with us. He demands that we walk by faith as we pursue our purpose and destiny. When we experience challenges, obstacles, detours, and even failures, we must keep our focus on His word and past faithfulness, knowing if we do so, He will keep us on course. Obviously, these four truths and principles are pertinent for us individually. However, they are true for nations, as well. In fact, the plans and destiny spoken of in Jeremiah 29:11 were for the nation of Israel. Acts 17:26 also tells us that He appoints the boundaries and destinies of nations: “And He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation.” The word “appointed” in this verse is protasso, which means “a specific command for a specific purpose.” God commanded the times and places of nations and He did so for specific purposes. America has gotten off course. Forgetting what God has said, we have attempted to find our future without yesterday’s reference point. God has said that He is correcting this. We must continue to agree with Him, not our present circumstances and failures. We must persevere in releasing our faith for a complete restoration, standing on the promises He has given us. Keep rowing, both for yourself…and for our nation! Pray with me: Father, as we row toward the good future You spoke of in Jeremiah 29:11, we face many obstacles. And yes, at times, we take our eyes off of Your words and promises. This causes us to row off course; sometimes we even row in circles! However, in Your mercy and patience, You are offering to get us back on course. You are faithful to correct our mistakes and shortcomings. America has gotten off course. We have become so disoriented that we are rowing away from our destiny. But You are restoring us. You are restoring us to the old road Jeremiah spoke of (Jeremiah 6:16). You have said, “America shall be saved.” We believe this. We are focused on it. We, the Ekklesia, are looking back at the reference point of Cape Henry and other important benchmarks in our history. We have locked our gaze upon them and our intercession and decrees are now aligned with Your purposes. As our prayers have gotten back on course, You will now use them to turn America back toward her destiny. We stake our claim to this through the power, blood, sacrifice, and authority of Jesus, amen.
