Jesus’ Response to a Heart Cry of Frustration – Part 2 I heard the Lord say, ‘I have brought you to the end of yourself. I have brought you to the place of the deepest rest of faith that you have ever experienced. In the brokenness before Me, you are transitioning into the greatest upgrade and impartation and manifestation of faith in your life that you have walked in. It’s the place of REST. I am bringing you deeper into the faith-rested life; the place of deeper trust in who I am. There is nothing you can do to ‘EARN’ the breakthrough and ‘EARN’ the miracle. I am breaking off orphan mentalities. In the wrestle, in the pushing, in the struggle, I am purifying your heart from wrong beliefs, and removing the roots that are hindering you from walking in My truth. I am changing your perspective.’ “I had a vision and I saw many of God’s people weeping in such a ‘dry and arid land.’ These lands represented areas where there has just not been ANY breakthrough, but the continued culmination of things that shout ‘Breakthrough will never come.’ The weeping was SO loud and I heard the Lord speak again, ‘I have collected every tear, I have cherished every cry. I continue to bring comfort to My people and release hope to them that I am the God that has prepared for them things that are greater than they have imagined. (1 Corinthians 2:9) These dry and arid lands are SUDDENLY shifting. (Psalm 84:6-8) Watch what I will do. Suddenly, I saw the breath of the Spirit begin to breathe over these dry and arid lands. It was the breath of REVIVAL. I heard Him speak again, ‘I am bringing you, My people, into a season of the greatest miracles you have ever seen.’ “I watched as God moved in power in so many different ways in the lives of His people, restoring hope and turning things around. He was working MAJOR MIRACLES and His heart resounded, ‘THIS IS NOT THE END, THIS IS YOUR GREATEST NEW BEGINNING.’ “I watched as the landscape changed. Miracles and the power of God manifested SO significantly the land was now branded with, ‘THE ALMIGHTY GOD OF WONDERS WAS HERE.’” (Lana Vawser) “That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, ‘No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.” (1 Corinthians 2:9; NLT) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Take stock of your spiritual and emotional self. How are you faring? Is there an area in your walk with the Lord where you know your thoughts do not line up with the Word and with His nature and character? Ask Him to realign them. Have you had such a hard season that you have thought the breakthrough would never come? Have you even lost hope in the dry and arid season? Tell the Lord about that. Read 1 Corinthians 2:9 out loud. Say it again and again until rejoicing starts to flow from your innermost being! Praise Him for a while! Declare over yourself, “THIS IS NOT THE END, THIS IS YOUR GREATEST NEW BEGINNING.” Declare over the Church, “THIS IS NOT THE END, THIS IS YOUR GREATEST NEW BEGINNING.” Declare over the nation, “THIS IS NOT THE END, THIS IS YOUR GREATEST NEW BEGINNING.” Declare it over any other circumstance where you need to see breakthrough come! A prayer you can pray: Lord, I lay bare my life and heart and thoughts before You. You know them better than I do. Holy Spirit, look deep in me and reveal the heartache, the disappointment, the pain, the hope-deferred, and any other thing that’s keeping me from believing You. Where has my faith faltered? This season has been long and dry and hard with many huge faith-challenges. I have wondered where You are in the midst of my agony. How could things go this far and get this bad? If I am one of many in the Church experiencing this, then Your army is in trouble! We need a fresh wind to blow on the hot, hard, dry ground. We need the arid places to be watered with Your Word. We need winds of refreshing to blow. We need tangible breakthrough, even miracles to manifest on our behalf. We might not make it if You hold back now, Lord. I say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.” I declare over my life, “THIS IS NOT THE END, THIS IS YOUR GREATEST NEW BEGINNING.” I declare over the Church, “THIS IS NOT THE END, THIS IS YOUR GREATEST NEW BEGINNING.” I declare over the nation, “THIS IS NOT THE END, THIS IS YOUR GREATEST NEW BEGINNING!” Miracles, miracles, miracles in Jesus’ name. Amen. Today’s decree: This hard, dry, season we have been in is not our end, it is our great beginning! Learn more about Lana Vawser here.

Jesus’ Response to a Heart Cry of Frustration – Part 1 “Recently, I heard a strong and loud cry coming from the hearts of many of God’s people in their secret place with the Lord. They were crying out, ‘Jesus, I don’t know what else to do to step into the breakthrough and promises you have for me.’ “There was such an intense frustration, despair and disappointment bubbling up in the hearts of God’s people. The sense surrounded me so strongly that they have ‘tried everything.’ They have done ‘all they know to do.’ Every ‘avenue’ has been tried and a deep frustration has entered their hearts, leaving a despair and a feeling of hopelessness that they didn’t think their manifested promise could feel any further away, and suddenly it has. “That’s when I heard the Lord reply, ‘You are now entering the midnight zone where I, the God of wonders, will meet you.’ “The sense was so strong around me of the place where we face impossibility ‘head on’ and the Lord spoke again, ‘I have brought you to the place where I am your only option. I am going to be your hero! You have entered the midnight zone where I am your only option. You have come to the point of desperation where things need to change. Don’t despise the frustration you are feeling, because that place of frustration is the place of UPGRADE. It is the place of miracles. It’s the place where you are going to see Me move in power and leave you in wonder of who I am. Put your hope in Me! I will NOT fail you! I am about to do what only I can do. In this process, I am dealing with more than just the area of breakthrough that you need. I am dealing with your heart. I am dealing with the strongholds within. I am healing the heart. I am healing the soul. I am healing the mind. Open up your hearts, this is your moment of your greatest transformational encounters in Me.” (Lana Vawser) “Then Joshua said to the people, ‘Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do wonders among you.’” (Joshua 3:5; NASB) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Are you crying out, “Jesus, I don’t know what else to do to step into the breakthrough and promises you have for me.” If so, know that He has heard your cries! Do as Joshua commanded the Israelites before they took the promised land, “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.” Intercede for others you know in need of a miracle. Pray they will put their whole hope in the Lord and press into Him in intimacy. He will never fail us! Declare, “In the place of frustration is the moment of God’s upgrade! Great transformational encounters are coming on the Body of Christ now!” A prayer you can pray: Lord, You are truly my hero! There have been times lately where I did not think I could go on. It seems that all the enemy has in his arsenal has been coming at me. Every demonic force of darkness is trying to trip me up or stall me out. I am tired and frustrated. Thank you for the Word of the prophet, Lana Vawser, who has come along to remind me of Who You are! Thank You for the words you have spoken through her regarding this frustration I am feeling. Jesus, I have not known what else to do to step into the breakthrough and promises You have for me. Then, here comes this Word saying that You have heard my cries! You are coming as my living Hope! You are telling me to consecrate myself, because You are coming in the midnight hour with miraculous breakthroughs! I believe You, Jesus! I believe this for myself and my friends and family members who find themselves in the same place of frustration. We have done all, now we will stand and see the salvation of our God! (Intercede for those you know who need breakthrough.) In the place of frustration is the moment of God’s UPGRADE! Great transformational encounters are coming on the Body of Christ now! In the mighty Name of Jesus I pray, amen. Today’s decree: The Lord is going to work wonders and miracles in our midnight hours! Learn more about Lana Vawser here.

From Revolt to Revival “In a vision I saw an increase of rioting across the earth. There is a generation trying to find their voice and trying to find their identity. Let the spirit of adoption overtake the spirit of anarchy! Racial conflicts are not over yet but I see HOPE on the horizon! Some kind of war is going to bring unity to our nation again, something on our own soil. The revelation of 2 Chronicles 7:14-15 will be understood by the majority of Believers in Christ, not just the leaders and intercessors! “In a vision I saw a fire-breathing dragon that was releasing hate and death. ISIS, the media, and a young socialist-agenda generation are being steered by this dragon. We need to muzzle the beast through intercession so that justice and righteous can be established! “’Blessed be the Lord—day after day He carries us along. He’s our Savior, our God, oh yes! He’s God-for-us, He’s God-who-saves-us. Lord GOD knows all death’s ins and outs. What’s more, He made heads roll, split the skulls of the enemy as He marched out of Heaven, saying, “I tied up the dragon in knots, put a muzzle on the deep blue sea.”’(Psalm 68:19-22; MSG) “A youth revolt will turn to revival if we will humble ourselves and pray and put feet to our prayers. It will be a modern-day God’s army. The ones in this army will be voices of fire that arise from the wilderness, moving in the power of the Spirit!” (Steven Springer) “Your people will be your love offerings, in the day of your mighty power you will be exalted, and in the brightness of your holy ones you will shine as an army arising from the womb of the dawn, anointed with the dew of your youth!” (Psalm 110:3; TPT) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: God’s desire is to heal the land. Let’s be praying for divine intervention into the division and upheaval we are seeing and will see more of. The Lord desires to heal a generation. Intercede for these restless ones, so that they will come out from under the dragon’s control and find the One that can reveal their identity. Proclaim, “God, You are our Savior, our God, oh yes! You are God-for-us, You are God-who-saves-us!” Declare, “God, You are the one that ties the dragon up in knots! He is no match for You and we must see that in order to war with You against him.” Call for revival! Call for the new Justice Movement – God’s Justice Movement – to arise! It is righteousness paired with justice. It will deliver the captives. It will right societal wrongs without the violence and hatred and division that man’s justice movements cause in America. A prayer you can pray: Father, our young people are in internal turmoil. They are confused and being tossed to and fro by every wind. They really don’t know what to think, because it seems everyone out there from the educators to the media to celebrities is telling them what to think and how to feel. Our ancient foe, the devil, the dragon, is behind all of this. Things are about to come to a violent tipping point. The young want to see societal injustices righted. They just don’t know how to do so. They are going to try to do something in their own strength and might. You, Lord, are the One with the answers. You are are our Savior, our God, oh yes! You are God-for-us, You are God-who-saves-us! You are the One that ties the dragon up in knots! He is no match for You and we must see that in order to war with You against him. So, we call for Your intervention! We call for You to right the wrongs by Your Spirit and Your Word. We ask that You would drop strategies from heaven into our nation, so we can see violence and hatred, injustice and division, healed across our land. Show us how to defeat the dragon. We want to join Your new Justice Movement, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Today’s decree: God’s Justice Movement is rising in the land! Learn more about Steven Springer here.

Pray Until the Birth is Complete “The whole earth is groaning for the sons and daughters of God to enter into powerful times of pure, violent intercession in which we forbid the spirit of violent hatred from ruling in our great nation and release the Kingdom realm of righteousness, peace and joy! ‘And from the days of John the Baptist until now the Kingdom of Heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.’ (Matthew 11:12 NKJV) ‘I will give you the keys of Heaven’s Kingdom realm to forbid on Earth that which is forbidden in Heaven, and to release on Earth that which is released in Heaven.’ (Matthew 16:19 TPT) “In a vision I saw the spiritual womb of America pregnant with a massive movement. This movement brings an increase of power, which we must passionately grab ahold of with clean hands and pure hearts. I saw the recent excess rains across America as a spiritual indication that the water has broken and the ‘baby’ is about to come forth. The baby in the womb represents Heaven’s vision: our Father’s purposes and plans. The rains also indicate a necessary washing over the land to prepare for the delivery of the baby. This washing is crucial for the Church of America. “The enemy is fearful of this massive movement and has unleashed a murderous spirit to try to take out the baby/vision, but the sound of worship and the prayers of the saints are putting shields up. As we contend for the heartbeat of Heaven to come forth, the shields of God’s wrap-around presence are protecting the baby in the womb. Like a mother giving birth, it is critical to keep calling forth revival, awakening, and reformation until it is here in its FULLNESS. “There is a spirit of slumber that wages war against the intensity required to birth this massive movement. The same demonic spirit which dulled the disciples in the garden of Gethsemane into slumber is at work today. “America is pregnant with a massive, global movement, and as the Ecclesia, we must assume our position as the midwife, to be fully attentive to care for this baby coming forth. Oh the ache as the pure, righteous violence of Heaven is being released and the Kingdom is bursting forth!” (Rene Springer) “From the moment John stepped onto the scene until now, the realm of Heaven’s Kingdom is bursting forth, and passionate people have taken hold of its power.” (Matthew 11:12 TPT) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: “Call forth Revival, Awakening, and Reformation!” “Beloved Church, we must present our hands and pray for them to be diligent and set apart for His works.” “Warrior Bride, while we do not ignore the battle we are in, we must allow the passion of Christ to now be the joy set before us as we focus on His face and endure the pain of birthing this movement.” “Beloved Bride of Christ, when we start to go to deep and intense places of sanctification and prayer, tiredness and sleepiness will try to take you over. Speak over yourself, ‘Awake!’ and then cry out for a great awakening in America.” “With one powerful voice, before the throne of grace, let us forbid the demonic assignment of hatred/violence in our great nation and release righteousness, peace and joy as our inheritance in the land. With one P.U.S.H (‘Praying Until Something Happens’).” “Let us cry out from our innermost being: ‘Revival, come forth! Awakening, come forth! Reformation, come forth!’” A prayer you can pray: “Father, we call forth Revival, Awakening, and Reformation! We present ourselves to You as set apart for the good works You have created us for from before the foundations of the earth. We present our hearts and pray for the passion of Christ to consume us in order for our hearts to be given purely to Your plans. In this final crescendo, it is time for the world to see the risen Christ in the radiant Bride of Christ! We won’t ignore the battle. We see that we must joyfully engage. We are birthing a Kingdom movement of God. We have been called forth for such a time as this! It is not a time for slumber. We may feel physically drained and tired, and in those moments we need to call out the spirit of slumber. We need to take authority over it, posture ourselves to receive more grace, pray in the Spirit, and physically get up and move around while we pray. We say to ourselves and the Bride, ‘Wake up!’ We cry out, ‘Revival, come forth! Awakening, come forth! Reformation, come forth!’ Above all else,we will remember to breathe and allow Your life-giving Spirit to carry us as we carry and bring forth Your vision. What a privilege we have to co-labor with You in Jesus’ name. Amen.” Today’s decree: “We call forth revival, awakening, and reformation until it is here in its FULLNESS!” Learn more about Rene Springer here.

There is an Opioid Crisis in America “From time to time, the Lord highlights situations in our nation that require concerted prayer in order to effect a breakthrough. There are things happening that are destroying our nation from within. One of the things that the Lord is highlighting, both in the news and through the prophets, is that there is an opioid epidemic in America. In fact, just earlier this month, Attorney General William Barr addressed this crisis in New Orleans. “This opioid epidemic is affecting people of all races, places, and walks of life, and there are no signs of this tragedy diminishing. It is stealing lives, to say nothing about stealing finances and the very health they were meant to help with. We must cry out to God for the healing of America! “‘In the late 1990s, pharmaceutical companies reassured the medical community that patients would not become addicted to opioid pain relievers, and healthcare providers began to prescribe them at greater rates.’1 By 2017, Health and Human Services (HHS) declared the opioid epidemic to be a public health emergency. Today, an average of 130 Americans die daily from an opioid overdose.2” (Cindy Jacobs) “And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” (James 5:15-16; NIV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Pray for wisdom and knowledge for America regarding prescription drugs. Pray for healing of this public health emergency. Pray that God will provide a solution to this epidemic. Pray that the pharmaceutical companies and the doctors responsible for this epidemic be held accountable. Declare, “For we do not have a high priest who is incapable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are, yet he did not sin.” (Hebrews 4:15; NET Bible) A prayer you can pray: Lord, You are the One that gives wisdom. From Your mouth come knowledge and understanding. Doctors and pharmacists thought they knew the best way to use these powerful drugs, but things have gotten way out of control. We have a staggering epidemic of addiction to these pain-killing drugs. It is a societal crisis. If we would simply ask You, we would have answers, but we have leaned on our own knowledge and understanding and now we have a mess. Heal us Lord. Deliver us. We need mass healing for this public emergency. Take hold of our hand and help us. Let us not fear, but know You are faithful to deliver when we ask You for help. Father, bring pharmaceutical companies and doctors into accountability for their casual response to this crisis. We look to You, instead, for we do not have a high priest who is incapable of empathizing with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are, yet He did not sin. Save our nation from this tremendous challenge, in Jesus’ name. Amen. Today’s decree: Heal us, Lord, and we will be healed! Save us and we will be saved! Don’t Forget Where You Have Come From “The Lord is about to pour out a transformation on this generation. Some of them seem to be in impossible situations. They are in gangs, on drugs, even murderers. They are sinners. But, God is going to transform the sinners. We are going to have to decide how we are going to treat them. We are going to have to reject the sin, but embrace the sinner. God is coming to save! Don’t ever forget. At one point in your life, you were a lost sinner. King David was a murderer. The apostle Paul was a murderer. God raised them up and they became two of His most powerful leaders. Some of you need to get ready. You may find yourself discipling some of these gang members. You may be one God uses to introduce them to Jesus. They might just wander into your churches. We need to make sure that we don’t carry a self-righteous attitude or walk in a spirit of pride. We need to remember that God hates pride as much as He hates murder. He hates religion and a religious spirit, too.” (Dr. Negiel Bigpond) “And when Jesus heard it, he said to them, ‘Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.’” (Mark 2:17; ESV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Cry out for the lost and the prodigals. Deal with any attitudes you may have where you dislike the sinners – the murderers, the liars, thieves, and the fornicators. Divide the work of the enemy from the precious person caught up in the darkness. Believe they can be transformed by the blood of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit. A prayer you can pray: Father, we ask You to touch our hearts with what touches Yours. May this generation of Church fathers and mothers not reject the lost, the prodigals, and the new Believers coming in! When we observe their sins and iniquities, let us remember where we have come from! Let us remember that we were once sinners, and we have been saved by Your marvelous grace. Let us determine to separate them from all the enemy has done to destroy them! Let the harvest come in! Let the prodigals return! We don’t care what darkness they have wandered around in. They were deceived. Let the light of Christ shine in their hearts. Holy Spirit, draw them! We will love them, heal them, challenge them, and restore them. Make us disciples of the next generation, so they can mature more quickly than our generation did. Grace, grace, grace in Jesus’ name. Amen. Today’s decree: We come to call the lost and prodigal sinners to repentance! 1 Learn more about Dr. Negiel Bigpond here.

The Word of the Lord is Going to Transform a Generation of Americans If we, as the Caleb generation, don’t take out our giants, the next generation can’t conquer their giants. The opposite is also true. The young folks that are shooting each other in the streets are shooting each other in the streets because the generation before them allowed it to happen. The giants are ruling, because we allowed the giants to rule. God is more interested in saving this generation than in judging them. God is about to do something in America. He’s about to raise up a generation that IS “debir” (ones where the Presence of God dwells). They will carry a deep intimacy with God. They will be filled with His Presence and His Word. They will be a giant-killing generation. They will return the Word of the Lord to the nation. The Word of the Lord is going to return to government. It’s going to return to the schools. It’s going to return to the churches. It’s going to return to the streets. And when the Word of the Lord comes, it changes everything! The Word of the Lord breaks through. The Word of the Lord is salt. The Word of the Lord is a fire. The Word of the Lord is transforming. The Word of the Lord is creative. The Word of the Lord delivers and heals. It resurrects! The Word of the Lord is returning! “Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation. Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky as you hold firmly to the word of life.” (Philippians 2:14-16a; NIV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Rededicate yourself to spend time in God’s Word daily. Repent if you have been complacent about taking the giants out in your territory. If you have not known to do this, ask the Lord for instruction. It’s not too late! Here and here are some good resources for spiritual warfare. Intercede for the next generation. Pray that they, first and foremost, find a place of salvation and intimacy with God. Ask the Lord to minister to the deepest needs of the young generation. Pray that they encounter a loving, but powerful God. Pray that they become hungry for His Word, then become salt and light for everyone around them. Ask God to use these young firebrands to invade their cities and the culture with His transforming love, grace, salvation, and deliverance. A prayer you can pray: Father, I desire to immerse myself in Your Word. Make me even more hungry for the truth in the Bible. There are things I want to learn about You. I want to know Your ways. I want to know how to take giants down in my generation and in my territory. I want to make it easier for the young to take their giants out. Also, if they have less warfare, they can focus on intimacy with You, which is the most important thing! Draw them to Yourself. Make them hungry for Your Word. Fill them with Holy Spirit. Make them like David, men and women after Your own heart. Grace them to carry Your Word and Your Presence into the darkest places in their neighborhoods, cities, and in this culture. They can only handle it if You fill them completely! Give them holiness and a Holy boldness to witness. Make them creative, transforming, healing, and delivering ministers of Your Good News, Jesus. Amen. Today’s decree: A generation filled with the Word and the Presence of God is rising up, and our nation will be saved!

The Next Generation Will Go Further – In Intimacy With Him The re-taking of Hebron prepared the way for the next generation to accomplish its destiny. After he conquered this city, Caleb went to the city next door, Kiriath Sepher. He said to those with him, “I showed you how to do it. Now, who’s going to go take that city?” His nephew, Othniel, said, “I’ll do it.” The spirit of Caleb had gotten onto Othniel. He basically said, “If Uncle Caleb can do it…” He must have realized that it wasn’t about Caleb. He knew it wasn’t about the size of the giant or the stronghold, or the underworld. It was all about how strong his faith was. And, Caleb’s faith was not in himself. He had the Spirit of faith with him. His faith was not in his own ability. So, that Spirit of faith jumped on Othniel. Othniel conquered his city and he renamed his city, also. He named his city “Debir”. Debir is another name for the Holy of Holies. Debir comes from the root word “dabar”, which means “word” or “Oracle”. Since the Holy of Holies is the place from which God spoke, the Hebrews called the Holy of Holies, “the Oracle of the House”. In Hebrew it would be, “the debir of the House”. In other words, “That’s the place from which God talks.” The word “Word” in “the Word of the Lord” is the word “dabar”. It was almost as if Othniel was saying, “Uncle Caleb, if you can have intimacy with Him, and you can rename the city ‘friendship’, my generation can go even farther. We can live in the innermost sanctuary of the Lord.” Othniel represents the Word of the Lord being re-established. The result is intimacy with God. “Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” (1 Corinthians 3:16; NASB) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: In light of the article above, meditate on today’s scripture: “Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” (1 Corinthians 3:16; NASB) Also, carefully consider Romans 10:8, “But what does it say? ‘The word is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart;’ that is, the word of faith, which we preach.” (WEB) Talk to the Lord about giving you greater revelation on being the temple of the Holy Spirit. The Living Word of God dwells in you, that temple. How can you not experience a new level of intimacy with the One you Who is indwelling you? Worship Him. Ask for an increase of faith from the generation that has gone before you. Intercede for the generation behind you. Pray they will have an even deeper level of intimacy than you do. A prayer you can pray: Lord, we are going to see deliverance come to this generation. We are going to see cities rebuilt, even inner cities rebuilt. We’ll see families restored. We will see a generation arise that are empowered with the spirit of Caleb and Othniel. We are going to see transformation. We are going to see awakening and reformation. We are going to understand that we are the temple of the Living God, the Holy God, the one true God, the one and only God. God, the Holy Spirit, You indwell us. We should look different and act different than the world around us, not in some strange, religious way, but because of Your Presence with us. Give us a fresh passion for Your Word. Fill us with Your Word and teach us. Let it transform our hearts, our lives, and everything we do and speak into. Let faith speak from us. Let hope be expressed through us. Let revelation of You change us and draw others to You in us. Let the next generation watch us and want what we have. We don’t want them repelled by our religiosity, but compelled by our intimacy with You in Jesus Name. Amen. Today’s decree: Let Your Words in my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, draw the next generation to You, Lord, my strength, and my redeemer!

Turning Cities of Death Into Cities of Life When Caleb re-took Kiriath-Arba and renamed it Hebron, he was restoring the city to its destiny. Satan always comes to distort or pervert God’s purpose. So, this city of Hebron, pictures covenant—friendship with God. Satan came and said, “I’m going to make it a stronghold of division, of idolatry, of death, corruption, evil, control, and fear.” Caleb transformed that city back into covenantal friendship with God. I believe God so wants to transform Chicago that it becomes not just a business hub, but is restored as a spiritual hub. People from all over the world will once again go there to seek the Lord. There will be something there again that people can tap into. Death won’t rule Chicago. Life will rule Chicago. God will even redeem gangs and gang members. He will rule over the inner cities in America and bring revival to places of great darkness! He will even transform the governments of these cities. Cities like Chicago will become cities that people run to, instead of somewhere they want to run from. People will find refuge and protection. These cities of great darkness will begin to paint a picture of the Lord, Himself. “Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Then come to me. I will refresh your life, for I am your oasis. Simply join your life with mine. Learn my ways and you’ll discover that I’m gentle, humble, easy to please. You will find refreshment and rest in me. For all that I require of you will be pleasant and easy to bear.” (Matthew 11:28-30; TPT) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Can cities be so transformed by God through the prayers of the saints, that they completely turn around and become cities of refuge? Can they become cities people run to instead of from? Can neighborhoods of death become strongholds of life and safety and salvation? Call for Life to rule in Chicago. Call forth Life into other cities the Lord lays on your heart where death is the current stronghold. Pray Matthew 11:28-30 over Chicago any darkness-infested cities near you. Call for gang members to repent and turn to God. They are the hardest of the hard, but they are not too hard for God. Say, “Revival is coming to America’s inner cities!” Intercede for government structures in major cities to be transformed. A prayer you can pray: Oh God! Father! Come to Chicago and our nation’s other dark, demon-infested cities. Get Your Church praying like never before, Holy Spirit. Get the Saints up and praying until the darkness abates and the cities show forth the Light and Life of Christ. There are cities, even neighborhoods, in this country where darkness causes people to want to run away. Turn them completely around until people are running to them to find You, to find life and peace and refreshing and rest. That seems impossible, but nothing is impossible for You and Your praying Church. We pray that specifically for Chicago. It is a model city of darkness. Turn it into a model city of Life! We say what Jesus is saying to the people of Chicago and other dark cities, “Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Then come to Jesus. He is extending to you an invitation, ‘I will refresh your life, for I am your oasis. Simply join your life with mine. Learn my ways and you’ll discover that I’m gentle, humble, easy to please. You will find refreshment and rest in me. For all that I require of you will be pleasant and easy to bear.’” Wow, who can resist that invitation? Not even gang members will resist it. They will turn to Christ en masse. They will lead so many others to Jesus, because of their testimonies. Revival is coming to America’s inner cities! Residents will be transformed and governments will be transformed! In the mighty, transforming Name of Jesus! Amen. Today’s decree: The Lord is going to flip our country’s darkest cities into cities of light and life and peace and safety!

Take Authority, Then Take Down the Giants Before Caleb went to fight the giants in the land, Joshua gave him a city. Moses had given it to Joshua. Here’s what I want you to see. God does not wait until the giant is defeated before He announces the transfer of ownership for that city. Joshua said to Caleb, “I have full authority to give you this city. I don’t care how many giants are up there. I’m announcing today, ‘It’s your city!’” Most of the Church does not think this way. Most of the Church waits until all the demons and all the strongholds are gone before they start acting like they own it. But, God says, “You have to act on it now. You have to believe Me now. You have to call what’s yours now. Then, you can go kick out the giants! So, I say over Chicago, for example, that the stronghold has been uprooted. It has been torn down. This city belongs to the Lord! His people are successful and victorious in battle. “So Joshua blessed Caleb, son of Jephunneh, and gave Hebron to him as his portion of land. Hebron still belongs to the descendants of Caleb, son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite, because he wholeheartedly followed the Lord, the God of Israel. (Previously Hebron had been called Kiriath-Arba. It had been named after Arba, a great hero of the descendants of Anak.)” (Joshua 4:13-15; NLT) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Say, “Lord, we are going to call what is not, as if it is!” Declare, “The Lord has given us this city! We receive it as our inheritance from Him! We call it a beautiful and righteous city. We call God’s people here successful and victorious in battle. We say it is ours.” Proclaim, “We are going to get the giants out, no matter how many there are or how strong they are. If He gave this city to us, no matter how bad it is, He will show us how to clean it up and cause it to glorify Him.” A prayer you can pray: Lord, we are going to call what is not, as if it is! We take hold of the gift of faith, which You are giving us. We believe You have given us this city! We receive it as our inheritance! We call it a beautiful city. It is a righteous city. We say that it is filled with revival and awakening. We see the great harvest of souls happening here. We call Your Church here successful and victorious in battle. We say that this city is ours. We declare that we are going to get all the giants out, no matter how many there are or how strong they are. The giants are no match for Your people filled with faith and the Word of the Lord. You have given this city to us, so no matter how bad it is, You will show us how to clean it up and cause it to glorify Your beautiful Son, Jesus. Amen. Today’s decree: This city (name it) belongs to the Lord!

A Heart Like Caleb’s It takes a “Caleb heart” to capture strongholds. He was a man of faith that the Bible says followed the Lord fully. He cared about the reputation of the Lord and about covenant. He cared about what God had done in previous generations. He cared more about these things than his own well-being. Caleb said, “I will not rest until I take that city.” What God is looking for is a remnant of Believers with the heart of Caleb. They will care more about the cause of Christ and the destiny of their cities and nation than their own reputations, their own churches, and their own ministries. God wants someone that will say, “I will take this city!” God will liberate it when they pray. Do not wait for a majority of Believers to engage with you. You don’t need the majority of the Church to liberate your city from the strongholds keeping it in bondage. The majority of the Church will benefit. They are going to get to eat of the fruit of the land. They are going to take part in the harvest. It will benefit whole regions, but it will not be a majority that takes out the giants. God doesn’t need a majority. “Today I appoint you to stand up against nations and kingdoms. Some you must uproot and tear down, destroy and overthrow. Others you must build up and plant.” (Jeremiah 1:10; NLT) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Say, “We are a Caleb company! We are conquerors, who are willing and more than able to take the land!” Declare, “This is the year to tear down, dismantle and pull down every stronghold of the enemy in our land.” Tell the Lord, “We want this city (name your city). We will partner with those you show us, but we don’t need a large company. We don’t need all the pastors in unity. We just need faith-filled Believers.” Decide to seek embrace the Word of the Lord more seriously for the rest of this year. Read the Bible. Pray in passages of scripture. Ask the Lord for scriptures from the Word of God to use as a sword to bring the strongholds down! Adore the Lamb. Take communion, if you have elements available. A prayer you can pray: Lord, we stand before You now. We say, “We are a Caleb company. We are willing to take the land. We are well able to take the land. We are more than conquerers. We overwhelmingly conquer.” We echo Your words, “This is a year to tear down, to dismantle, to pull down.” We are going to exalt who You are. We are going to take back the city and make it a place of covenantal friendship. We are going to seek the Word of the Lord. We are going to seek the fire of God. We are going to see miracles come to this region. We are going to see revival come to this nation, in Jesus’ name, amen. We agree that there are enough of us. There are more than enough. There are more than enough to take out the strongholds that are in this area. We rise up in faith. We won’t look at the numbers. We won’t consider how long the strongholds have existed. We’re not going to look at how deeply they are entrenched. We are going to look at You. We are going to look at the blood of the Lamb. We are going to look at Your Name, Jesus. Today’s decree: Filled with faith and with our eyes fixed on Jesus, we will return our cities to places of covenantal friendship with God.

Caleb and the Giants There is a very significant city in Israel, named Hebron. It is one of the most important cities in the promised land. Many of the Patriarchs in Israeli history are buried there. Abraham and Sarah are buried there. The word, “Hebron” means “covenantal friendship”. Between the time of Abraham and Joshua, the greatest giant in all the land had captured Hebron. He wanted Hebron, because it was the highest city in all the land. So, symbolically, it represented the highest place of authority. He conquered the city and renamed it after himself—Kiriath Arbah, which means “the city of Arbah”. Listen carefully. When you give place to the underworld, they can come to the upper world. They will ascend to the high place of authority in that place. Caleb went into the land as one of the 12 spies that Joshua sent into the Promised Land. He was filled with righteous indignation. He looked up to the place that used to be Hebron, but which was now ruled by the greatest giant. That was the place that once represented covenant friendship with God. He looked at it and said, “I want that city right there. I want to take that land and I’m willing to take down the biggest giant!” Caleb did capture that city, and defeated Arbah and his three sons. “Now give me this hill country that the Lord promised me that day. You yourself heard then that the Anakites were there and their cities were large and fortified, but, with the Lord helping me, I will drive them out just as he said.” (Joshua 14:12; NIV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Declare, “Lord, give me (name your city, school, neighborhood, or other giant-controlled place.)” Say, “I am aware that there are giants entrenched in the land, but with You helping me, I will drive them out, just as You show me how to.” Bring any sense of fear, inadequacy, or insecurity to Him, so He can show you who you are, and how He will fight for you and through you to defeat the giants in your territory. Decree, “I want this city right here. I want to take this land and I’m willing to take down the biggest giant, so this place can glorify the Lord Jesus!” A prayer you can pray: Lord, Caleb knew the history of the place He was standing in front of. He knew how the enemy had hated it being a place that honored You, so giants moved in. The good news is that Caleb decided it really was ground that belonged to the Lord and he would take it back! Give me my (place where giants are that you are claiming. This can be a city, school, neighborhood or other place.) I see the giants there and I see the effect they are having on this place. They have turned it from a place that could glorify God into an unholy, even destructive place. Give me the faith of Caleb, so I can remove the giants from the land. Show me who I am and show me how You see me, so any insecurity or fear will fall away. Show me what You wanted for this place. Show me what You intend for this place. What is Your dream or vision? I want to see this place glorify You, Jesus. Let’s go get those giants out of there! Amen. Today’s decree: We are a Caleb company and we will remove the giants and take back the nation for the Glory of God!
