The Importance of Religious Freedom in America [President Trump gave a speech earlier this year on the topic of religious freedom. He recounted both the reason we protect religious freedom for all in America, as well as what this administration has done to advance it. Those advances have been significant and extend to protecting freedom of religion in other nations.] “From its opening pages, the story of America has been rooted in the truth that all men and women are endowed with the right to follow their conscience, worship freely, and live in accordance with their convictions. [In America], we honor the foundational link between freedom and faith in our country and reaffirm our commitment to safeguarding the religious liberty of all Americans. “Religious freedom in America, often referred to as our ‘first freedom,’ was a driving force behind some of the earliest defining moments of our American identity. The desire for religious freedom impelled the Pilgrims to leave their homes in Europe and journey to a distant land, and it is the reason so many others seeking to live out their faith or change their faith have made America their home. “More than 230 years ago, the Virginia General Assembly passed the Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom, which was authored and championed by Thomas Jefferson. Jefferson famously expounded that ‘all men shall be free to profess, and by argument to maintain, their opinions in matters of Religion, and that the same shall in no wise diminish, enlarge or affect their civil capacities.’ This statute served as the catalyst for the First Amendment, which enshrined in law our conviction to prevent government interference in religion. More than 200 years later, thanks to the power of that Amendment, America is one of the most religiously diverse nations in the world. “In May 2017, I signed an Executive Order to advance religious freedom for individuals and institutions, and I stopped the Johnson Amendment from interfering with pastors’ right to speak their minds. Over the last 3 years, the Department of Justice has obtained 14 convictions in cases involving attacks or threats against places of worship. To fight the rise of anti-Semitism in our country, I signed an Executive Order [in December 2019] to ensure that Federal agencies are using nondiscrimination authorities to combat this venomous bigotry. I have also made clear that my Administration will not tolerate the violation of any American’s ability to worship freely and openly and to live as his or her faith commands. “My Administration also remains cognizant of the stark realities for people seeking religious liberty abroad and has made protecting religious minorities a core pillar of my Administration’s foreign policy… Today, we reaffirm our commitment to protecting the precious and fundamental right of religious freedom, both at home and abroad. Our Founders entrusted the American people with a responsibility to protect religious liberty so that our Nation may stand as a bright beacon for the rest of the world.” “As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.” (John 1:12; NKJV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Thank the Father that He directed our forefathers to grant us the right to worship Him here in America without government interference. Declare, “Our Founders entrusted the American people with a responsibility to protect religious liberty so that our Nation may stand as a bright beacon for the rest of the world.” Decree that the First Amendment to the U. S. Constitution shall remain, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…” Intercede for all of those who have not yet heard the Gospel. Pray for miracles that introduce them to Jesus. Pray for the persecuted Church around the world. Ask God to let America continue to be a champion for religious freedom worldwide. A prayer you can pray: Father, You are the only Wise God and You have seen fit to extend that wisdom from time to time to the sons of men. We are thankful that You did so when You helped our founding fathers write the Constitution of these United States of America. We decree those words today, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…” You directed the signers to give us the ability to worship freely. They made clear that government could neither establish religion, nor stop us from worship. By these statutes we have lived for over 200 years. We desire for that to continue by Your grace. Our Founders entrusted us with a responsibility to protect religious liberty here so that our Nation may stand as a bright beacon for the rest of the world. We pray today for all those in America and around the world that have not yet heard about Jesus. We ask You to increase the spread of the Gospel. Send many from here to the nations of the earth, fulfilling Your mandate to our forefathers. Let the U.S. continue to be a protector and defender of religious rights worldwide, so people are free to choose Jesus. Thank You, Lord for Your saving grace! Amen. We Need to Love America I love America. The Lord has arrested me with a love for America and has given me His heart for this nation. God has convinced me through the historical record that He had a dream for this land that we now call the United States of America. He unfolded that plan over time. He sent His people here, and they came without consideration of their personal futures. They knew they had heard His direction and they came to fulfill it in their generation. They knew that He really cared that we become a nation. They knew the purpose in it. They carried His dream to our shores with extraordinary faith, passion, and commitment. I feel we owe it to those early settlers to know what that dream and vision was, so we can carry it forward in our generation. It’s not always popular to talk about loving our country today. I feel it’s appropriate to love my country. I believe it’s a good thing to love this land that God had me born into. I don’t believe God loves this nation any more than He loves other nations. I don’t believe He loves my family more than any other family, but I still believe it is important for me to passionately love my family. I have had a human love for America, however, it became so much more than that when God gripped me for this nation. He revealed His heart for America to me. He revealed the dream in His heart to me. I began to see why there is such a spiritual war for the soul of this country. It’s because it is about so much more than freedom and prosperity. Those are things God gave us so we can fulfill our destiny. They are not our destiny in and of themselves. When founding father Rev. Robert Hunt landed on the shores of Cape Henry in 1607, he planted a Cross and said, “The Gospel will go forth from these shores, not only to this land, but to all the nations of the earth.” In that statement, he perfectly summed up God’s destiny for America. This is the purpose of God for us. We are to expand His Gospel from our shores. That is what He caused me to carry in my heart that day. “Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.’” (Matthew 28:18-20; NIV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: With everything going on right now, how do you feel about America? Are you concerned about being swayed by what you hear on the news, or has the Lord touched your heart with love and faith for our nation? Declare the Great Commission from Matthew 28:18-20, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Jesus. Therefore, He has sent us to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything He has commanded us.” Declare Robert Hunt’s statement over America, “The Gospel will go forth from these shores, not only to this land, but to all the nations of the earth.” Ask the Lord to give you the kind of love for America that keeps you interceding and spiritually fighting for the fulfillment of God’s vision for the nation. A prayer you can pray: Father, America is in a philosophical war right now. Sometimes it feels like we aren’t going to make it much further. The Church needs to solidify that we really believe this is a Christian nation. We need to find the truth and hold firmly to it. We need to love this country. It matters. Our founding fathers and mothers showed great faith in acting on Your Word of direction to them. They paid a tremendous price to leave everything and fulfill Your will. The historical record clearly shows they loved You and they loved this land You gave them. They believed this was a fresh opportunity to fulfill the great commission and that generations that followed them would do the same from this place. We believe that we are to fulfill the Great Commission as stated in Matthew 28:18-20. It says, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to You, Jesus. Therefore, You have sent us to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything You have commanded us.” We believe that Rev. Robert Hunt commissioned America into that command with his words, “The Gospel will go forth from these shores, not only to this land, but to all the nations of the earth.” Give us a deeper love for this country and a firm commitment to intercede for the nation and the people of our generation. We want to see the dream fulfilled. Let us love and protect this amazing place called the United States of America in Jesus’ Name. Amen. Today’s decree: God is unfolding His dream for America!

Legislation From the Bench Must End [Our friends at Intercessors for America have provided great information today on judicial legislation at the Supreme Court.] “Recent cases such as Bostock, and June Medical highlight the need for prayer for our justices—regularly! In the Supreme Court, we see more and more ‘legislating from the bench’ instead of interpreting laws and the Constitution as written. What does ‘legislating from the bench’ mean and why is it wrong? Let’s go back to the framework of the Constitution to understand what the role of the Court is within the three branches of government. “The role of the Judicial Branch is to police the structural limits on government and neutrally interpret the law. The Executive Branch is responsible for implementing and enforcing the laws written by Congress. The Legislative Branch (Congress) is supposed to be the center and driver of the legislative process (creating the laws). When the legislative branch is not fulfilling that role for whatever reason—be it due to gridlock, the inability to make meaningful legislative action for fear of re-election ramifications, or the hyper-politicization of the role of the legislative process, legislating eventually gets done elsewhere, filling the vacuum. “One could say that the Supreme Court has become the battleground for debate of political ideals instead of the legislature. There is a lack of genuine debate and action in the legislature and the Supreme Court evaluates and decides many legislative matters. This is not the good government our founders outlined for our Republic. We need to pray for a restoration of the balance of power and for adherence to the original purposes of each branch of government as set forth in the founders’ framework. “Judicial activism occurs when judges decide cases based on their personal preferences or political leanings, not based on the text of the Constitution, statutes, and applicable precedent. The Heritage Foundation defines it: When a judge puts policy considerations above the requirements of law, bends the text of the Constitution or laws to comport with his or her own sensibilities, or otherwise angles for particular results in a case, that judge has stepped outside the proper constitutional role of policing the structural limits on government and neutrally interpreting the laws and the Constitution. “Yet some current justices are resisting judicial activism today. In his dissent on Bostock, Justice Alito opens with the following: ‘There is only one word for what the Court has done today: legislation. The document that the Court releases is in the form of a judicial opinion interpreting a statute, but that is deceptive.’” “He appointed judges throughout the nation in all the fortified towns, and he said to them, ‘Always think carefully before pronouncing judgment. Remember that you do not judge to please people but to please the Lord. He will be with you when you render the verdict in each case. Fear the Lord and judge with integrity, for the Lord our God does not tolerate perverted justice, partiality, or the taking of bribes.’” (2 Chronicles 19:5-7; NLT) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Read the definition above of judicial activism from The Heritage Foundation. Let us pray for an end to judicial activism and legislation in the Supreme Court and a return to the proper balance of powers. Declare, “Judicial opinions are not legislation, but are meant to solely be interpretations of legislation!” Intercede for the Senate and the House of Representatives find a way through the political divide, so they can do the job of lawmaking. This closes a void that the executive and judicial branch can step into. It puts our government back in order, limiting the other branches from creating legislation that is not theirs to create. Ask the Lord to download His heart and thoughts to Believers in the Congress, so they can enact fair and just laws for the people. Pray the same for state and local lawmakers, as well. A prayer you can pray: God, before You, we call the three branches of the government of the United States of America back into alignment with the Constitution of the United States of America! We believe You brought that document together through those who sought You for it. Our government is facing greater and greater challenges to our moral and ethical structure in particular. The Supreme Court is increasingly engaging in judicial activism, legislating from the bench, as opposed to verifying if laws are constitutionally enacted and carried out. We are humbly asking for Your intervention, Lord. Judicial opinions are not legislation, but are meant to solely be interpretations of legislation! We believe that there is currently a void in the congressional legislative processes. The Senate and House are not doing what they need to be doing because of greater and greater fighting between the parties. Every void in authority opens a spiritual gap that someone or something will try to fill. Because Congress is not enacting just and fair laws for Americans, other entities are filling that gap. The Supreme Court is one of them. So, Lord, we call the three branches of government into proper alignment and back to their original purposes and duties as outlined in our Constitution. Grant our Christian legislators your heart and mind in the development of those Bills. We pray for state and local lawmakers to enact God-fearing, just and fair laws, as well, so the enemy may be angry, but find the constitutional door shut against him. Let the Court decide in accordance with the U. S. Constitution alone, and not according to their personal interpretation of it. Jesus, we need Your intervention! Amen. Praying for Beirut The Lord is telling me that Beirut is on His heart right now. Beirut is the capital of Lebanon, the country that sits just to the north of Israel on the coast. Lebanon is a country mentioned quite a bit in the Bible. It was once very rich in resources, especially in forest and timber. It’s cedars were used in the building of David’s and Solomon’s temples, as well as in Solomon’s palace. There was nothing finer. This was a nation God honored. Today, Lebanon is struggling. Amidst the COVID-19 crisis, their already high unemployment rate surged past 30% by the end of June. The country suffers from political strife and supposed government corruption, and the value of their currency is plummeting. Now, added to the citizens’ great challenges, there was an explosion on August 4th that destroyed the city. Over 150 people are said to have been killed and that number may grow. Thousands have been injured. Beirut’s port was the center of the blast and it was destroyed completely. Fertilizer had been seized years ago from a ship and was stored in a warehouse there. The government had been asked numerous times to remove it. Sadly, that did not happen. No one seems to know what ignited it and an investigation is ongoing. You can read more about it here. Additional immediate concerns: It affected half the city and has caused over 300,000 to become homeless. Grain was stored nearby and the silos were demolished. To a nation already facing possible famine, this has likely exacerbated the problem. Two hospitals were destroyed. The people of Beirut are on God’s heart. We will pray today, but the people there are suffering and in great need of assistance. It is always best to give to organizations that have been working in the land for a long time and can get aid where it needs to go. The biggest organizations are great, but often can’t move fast enough. Some smaller, very targeted, NGOs already working in a charitable way directly with the people can be better. We are aware of one that we think fits that criteria. If you feel led, you can make a donation here. “Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! He is the Father who is compassionate and the God who gives comfort. He comforts us whenever we suffer. That is why whenever other people suffer, we are able to comfort them by using the same comfort we have received from God.” (2 Corinthians 1:3-4; GWT) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Learn about Lebanon and its former glory. Ask the Lord to move in that nation to heal and restore it. Intercede for all those that have been injured, lost loved ones, or lost their homes and businesses. The losses are staggering. Let God grip your heart with His compassion. Pray from 2 Corinthians 1:3-4. Ask the Lord to let good come of this tragedy, uncovering any corruption and paving the way for renewal for the nation of Lebanon. Pray for the salvation of thousands and thousands. Let this be the time that many hearts turn toward God, and find grace to help in time of need in Jesus. Declare, “The glory of the Lord is coming to Beirut and to Lebanon!” A prayer you can pray: Father, thank You for letting us know that Beirut and Lebanon are on Your heart today. We will lift up our intercession for them as we are led by Your Holy Spirit. You have honored this nation in the past, speaking of its wealth and the blessing it was. You commanded its cedars be used in the building of the temples where You would be worshipped. Lord, we ask You to remember Lebanon’s former glory and restore to her what has been lost over time. The people of Lebanon are hurting, especially in the capital city of Beirut. This explosion has compounded the woes this people were already facing and they need Your help, Lord. They need food and medical care, housing, and businesses restored. So many were already out of work and now many companies have been affected by this blast. We cannot imagine the horror, fear, and emotional pain. We ask You to move, Lord. Give us Your heart for them. Turn this entire situation around for good. May You introduce them to Jesus in dreams and visions. Let the Church there rise up strong and unafraid and do whatever they can to help their neighbors. We pray for grace and strength for them. Let us partner with those on the ground there to meet physical needs. Jesus, love the people of Beirut in tangible ways and draw them to the Father. We declare, “The glory of the Lord is coming to Beirut and to Lebanon!” Amen. Today’s decree: Beirut shall be saved!

Choosing the Right Supreme Court Justices – Part 2 [Phillip Jauregi, an expert in constitutional law and founder of Judicial Action Group, concludes his discussion, begun yesterday, on the importance of choosing the correct justices for the U.S. Supreme Court.] “There is an almost daily reminder that we have failed to nominate and confirm truly conservative Justices to the Supreme Court. Thankfully, future failure is avoidable. There is a workable standard for picking Supreme Court Justices that can transform past failure into future success.” [Yesterday we explored why the Supreme Court is important and why a standard is essential. Today we will look at three more areas that need to be considered in choosing constitutionally conservative justices in the future.] “Courage. Given the misalignment of the Judiciary, it will take courage to correct it. It will also take great courage to remain faithful against the unrestrained wicked onslaughts of the left. The Judiciary has been the left’s last bastion of political power and taking it back will require courage. “Record. If a prospective Justice does not have an actual demonstrable record as a courageous, conservative, constitutionalist, then you should wisely infer that they are not. Judicial nominees without records are preferred by political operators who prize short-term confirmability over long-term success. A ‘stealth’ Justice without a record may – or may not – be easier to confirm, but to what end? Conservatives have been sold ‘stealth’ justices with ‘trust me’ endorsements numerous times over the last fifty years, but most have transitioned and manifested as anti-constitutionalist liberals. Are we fools? “Only the fool would hire an employee without a record. When it comes to the eminently more important Supreme Court Justice – who is nearly impossible to fire – the wise would never hire one with a weak or stealthy record. “Long-Term. A Justice’s record should be long in duration. What kind of prospective Justice lives absent from the conservative fight for the first forty or fifty years of their life, but conveniently transitions with a late record only when it benefits their prospects? Answer: probably one who is neither courageous, nor conservative, nor a constitutionalist; and perhaps one who is weak, greedy for power, and slouching toward the left. A prospective Justice who lacks a long-term record, but enjoys mainly recent, helpful speeches, articles, and/or rulings should be viewed with healthy skepticism. A long-term record is exceedingly more reliable, believable, and trustworthy than a short-term record. “Conclusion. All prospects for the Supreme Court will be imperfect. However, that reality does not dictate that we lose our minds, abandon a standard, and accept anyone. To the contrary, it heightens the necessity that we: (1) establish a meaningful, workable standard like the one articulated above, (2) diligently measure the prospects according to that standard, and (3) resolutely accept only those who measure up. Only then can we reasonably expect to reverse our tragic trend of failed Supreme Court nominations. Only then will we achieve Judicial Renewal. “Evil people don’t understand justice, but those who follow the Lord understand completely.” (Proverbs 28:5; NLT) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Intercede for those who assist the president in choosing Supreme Court nominees. Ask that they would follow a clear and solid standard of choosing constitutionally conservative justices. No compromises! Pray against any political motivations and compromises in the choosing of nominees. “The Judiciary has been the left’s last bastion of political power and taking it back will require courage.” Ask the Lord to grant courage to all those involved in the nomination process. Confirmation processes are highly challenging, especially when constitutionally conservative justices are nominated. This is because we are in a spiritual war over the seats on the Court. Intercede now and often to prepare the way for the fight. Pray that the exact right persons would be chosen as Supreme Court Justice nominees in the future. A prayer you can pray: Father, we earnestly petition You today for our future Supreme Court Justices. We need Your choices on that Court. We need God-fearing men and women who have a long track record of conservative, righteous, and just determinations from the bench. We cannot have just anyone. We cannot politically compromise just to get the confirmation process simplified or hurried up. We say, “No compromises!” Phillip Jauregi said, “The Judiciary has been the left’s last bastion of political power and taking it back will require courage.” Give all those involved in the nomination process great courage to withstand the onslaught of demonic warfare against godly nominations. It is absolutely imperative that the exact right persons are found, nominated, and confirmed to the United States Supreme Court if righteousness and justice will rule in our land. Choosing the Right Supreme Court Justices – Part 1 [Today, Phillip Jauregi, an expert in constitutional law and founder of Judicial Action Group, provides an education for us on the importance of choosing the correct justices for the U.S. Supreme Court.] The Supreme Court is important because it makes the most important rules in our Nation. Although contrary to the clear text of the Constitution, we function under an illegitimate system whereby judges legislate from the bench like an unaccountable judicial oligarchy. Judicial nominations are an essential tool to correct this abuse and to restore power to the People. “Why is a standard for Supreme Court Justices important? Without a standard, everyone is acceptable. The Bible reveals that ‘where there is no vision, the people perish.’ Over the last fifty years, conservatives have failed over half the time to nominate conservative constitutionalist Justices. To reverse course and achieve judicial renewal we must adopt a new vision and a new standard. “The Justice Standard: The standard for Constitutionally Conservative Justices identifies prospects with a (1) long-term, (2) record, (3) of courage, (4) conservatism, and (5) a constitutional judicial philosophy.” [We will cover the last two of these today. We will look at the other three tomorrow.] “Constitutional Judicial Philosophy: A constitutional judicial philosophy requires a conviction that: The role of a justice is simply to ‘decide cases and controversies.’ A justice must never legislate from the bench. A justice must prioritize their oath to follow the original public meaning of the text of the Constitution over precedent that might dictate a contrary result. The Judiciary is a co-equal – not supreme – branch of government. “Conservatism: In Federalist No. 51, Madison explained that ‘if men were angels, no government would be necessary.’ In a perfect world, the political philosophy of judges would not matter. In the present world – littered with so-called ‘conservative’ Justices drifting liberal–it does. Liberals always nominate liberal Justices and it works for them; conservatives do not always nominate conservatives, and it has failed us. Conservatives should nominate only constitutionalists who are also conservative for at least four reasons. First, we are conservative! Second, the conservative philosophy opposes the usurpation of power–the liberal philosophy does not; thus, a conservative Justice is less likely to usurp legislative power. Third, conservatives are not tempted to legislate liberal social policy from the bench because they loathe it. Fourth, if a Justice does happen to fall off the ‘constitutional’ wagon (as non-angelic Justices are prone to do) at least they will fall on the right side of the wagon. Insisting on Justices who are constitutionalists and conservative is a ‘belt and suspenders’ approach; perhaps Madison would call it an ‘auxiliary precaution.’” “When justice is done, it is a joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers.” (Proverbs 21:15; ESV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Decree, “The Supreme Court will return to acting under the boundaries set for it in the United States Constitution.” Decree, “All decisions enacted by the Supreme Court that were unconstitutional will be reversed.” This includes liberal policies, such as legalized abortion and same-sex marriage. Those are matters that should be voted on by the people, not decided on by the Supreme Court. Declare the Constitutional Judicial Philosophies as stated above will be adhered to by the Court from this time forward. Intercede for future Supreme Court nominations to be those who would uphold the U. S. Constitution and a standard of righteousness and biblical justice. Ask the Lord to prepare for us future justices who are conservative constitutionalists, unlikely to usurp legislative power (allowing representation of the people), and not tempted to legislate liberal social philosophy. A prayer you can pray: God, we, Your ekklesia, decree, “The Supreme Court will return to acting under the boundaries set for it in the United States Constitution. ” We have had enough of Supreme Court justices “legislating from the bench.” This has given us laws to live under that we consider heinous and which have advanced a demonic agenda in America. Our nation is deserving of Your judgement for these decisions, but we seek You for mercy. We further decree, “All decisions enacted by the Supreme Court that were unconstitutional will be reversed.” We say that we will see the reversal of decisions that have allowed abortion to be legalized and even expanded! We reject the death culture these decisions instituted and advanced. We will see the reversal of other decisions that have brought moral degradation into America. Forgive our land, Jesus. We say the Constitutional judicial philosophies as stated above will be adhered to by the Court from this time forward. Give us justices that will uphold those standards. Give us justices who are conservative constitutionalists, unlikely to usurp legislative power, and not tempted to legislate liberal social philosophy. An Update on Operation Outcry – Part 1 [Many of you have signed a petition to the Supreme Court to end abortion through The Moral Outcry. Constitutional Attorney Allan Parker provided an update on the Moral Outcry. We will continue this update tomorrow.] “I want to thank Melinda Thybault, The Moral Outcry Founder for helping us to successfully file her most recent Moral Outcry Brief at the Supreme Court last week. The Moral Outcry and 375 Operation Outcry Women Injured By Late Term Abortions supported the Mississippi law banning abortions after 15 weeks (late term). “I would like to thank the 336,214 Signers of The Moral Outcry Petition whose names are in the Brief in footnote 4. Each signature under the ‘Law of Judicial Precedent’ 47(d) is evidence of ‘severe criticism’ which is one of the reasons for overturning a Supreme Court decision. The last Moral Outcry brief filed before this case had 264,500 Signers. As you can see, the number is constantly growing. We want to have over a million signatures when the case comes that will ultimately reverse Roe v. Wade. “This Mississippi Brief is filed at the cert petition phase which means the case will sit there until October when it will be considered by the Court. The abortionists have indicated they will file a response, which is unusual already since most often Respondents don’t file responses because 99% of the cases are not taken by the Court in the cert phase. However, filing a Brief like this at the cert phase helps to show the Court this is an important case nationally and they should take the case. This was similar to the success in the Louisiana case in getting the Court to take that case even though we were partially disappointed in the outcome. Justice Roberts did try to limit the case’s bad effects. “This was a sad Brief to write. It is a gruesome Brief to read because it describes in graphic terms, written by Justice Kennedy in Carhart v. Gonzales when they upheld the partial birth abortion ban, as to what happens in second and third trimester abortions. Our Brief even includes a picture of an aborted baby in a late term abortion at Appendix E. Thus, I caution whether you want to read the Brief, but I believe is important that the Supreme Court read this Brief and see the pictures. You may want to read it as well. The women’s testimonies are very powerful. “We also have pictures in the Appendix of Gideon Wilberforce Thybault, Melinda’s and Denny’s adopted child, who was a frozen embryo for seven months before his birth to show the Court that he was ‘viable’ outside the womb even in a petri dish. He was alive outside the womb and thus ‘viability’ occurs as early as six days with modern technology. We show his beautiful picture after birth. But he was alive at both stages of his life and viable outside the womb. That is an amazing new thing, which justifies reversing precedent.” “For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from You when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of them came to be.” (Psalm 139:13-16; NIV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Praise God for He is the Giver of Life! Praise Him for life and that abundantly! Thank the Lord that elective abortion will be ended in our lifetime! Declare, “Roe v Wade will be overturned in America!” Thank Him for Allan Parker, Melinda and Denny Thybault, and the 336,214 Signers of The Moral Outcry Petition. All of these, and many others, are making a way for abortion to be ended in America! Thank the Lord for today’s advances in science and medicine, as facts pertaining to the viability of fetuses today will provide a basis for the ending of abortion. We praise You that You have provided life to every human from the point of conception, and You desire that we would live an abundant life. Without You, this is not possible. We forgive the humanists who are not able to understand life’s value. Only an encounter with Christ, resulting in a transformed heart and mind, is able to change our understanding. Strategy to Pray for the Supreme Court [My friend, Ken Malone, and I have been in many battles for the nation over the years. Ken has received a dream calling us into fresh spiritual battle for the Supreme Court from August 8th to the 23rd.] “I awakened on July 27, 2020 from a dream around 3:00am to the sound of a thunderstorm just off shore in the Atlantic Ocean. The thunder is a very significant sound for this dream. “In the dream, my spiritual daughter, Tangi Combs, was working in the U.S. Supreme Court cafeteria. As she was being positioned on her job, Chief Justice John Roberts approached her and said, ‘Tell Ken Malone our positions are being overrun, I need his help.’ After Tangi relayed his word to me, I replied, ‘Damn the torpedoes! Tell him we’re coming.’ “It is very clear to me that the Lord is using this dream about John Roberts, Tangi, and myself as a Macedonian cry (Acts 16:9) to shore up the positions on the Supreme Court. It is of utmost importance that these positions are filled with godly, conservative justices. “Demonic principalities, false ideologies, progressive liberal mindsets, communism, European law, and more, have overrun many of the positions on the bench. The conservative biblical ideologies of our founders are being overrun. However, God knows the Ekklesia of America can shift this court back into its proper position. “The phrase, ‘Damn the torpedoes. Tell him we’re coming,’ was used by David Farragut who was a Rear Admiral of a fleet of ships that captured Mobile Bay out of the hands of the confederates. On August 5, 1864, he led two columns of ships into Mobile Bay. One ship, the U.S.S. Tecumseh, was hit by torpedoes, (underwater mines) and sank. The other ships began to pull back and Admiral Farragut issued a command, ‘Damn the torpedoes! Four bells. Captain Drayton, go ahead! Jouett, full speed.’ “After issuing the command, they continued forward in two columns, again hitting underwater mines, but none of the mines exploded. It was as if the decree from Farragut opened the way for victory. I’m confident God will also honor our decrees and prepare a way of victory for the Court. “The Lord is calling us to war in prayer and worship over the Supreme Court. We must win this battle! Therefore, I’m asking for your help in laying siege against the enemy of the Court. From August 5th through the 23rd, I want to ask you to join me in fortifying the Supreme Court positions. Take communion each day. Ask the Lord to save the Court and remove those who will not change their anti-God agenda.” “Though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.” (2 Corinthians 10:3-4; NIV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Pray for each Justice. Pray for their salvation and Holy Spirit encounter. Their names: Chief Justice John Roberts, Justice Stephen Breyer, Justice Clarence Thomas, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Justice Samuel A. Alito, Justice Neil Gorsuch, Justice Sonia Sotomayor, Justice Elena Kagan, and Justice Brett Kavanaugh. Decree that each Justice will judge conservatively and in alignment with the Bible and the Constitution of the United State of America. Decree that Christ’s Kingdom has come and His will is being done in the U.S. Supreme Court even as it is in heaven. Ask the Lord to forgive us and the Court for the more than 61,000,000 aborted babies in America since 1973. Decree a removal of those who will not change and uphold the rights of the unborn. Ask the Lord to forgive us and the Court for removing prayer out of our schools. Declare, “Each seat is reserved for a pro-life, conservative constitutionalist, who believes in Christ.” Intercede for President Trump. His re-election could result in the appointing of two more conservative justices to the bench. A prayer you can pray: Lord, today we take up a prayer siege against the enemy of our nation and the enemy of our United States Supreme Court and its nine justices, Chief Justice John Roberts, Justice Stephen Breyer, Justice Clarence Thomas, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Justice Samuel A. Alito, Justice Neil Gorsuch, Justice Sonia Sotomayor, Justice Elena Kagan, and Justice Brett Kavanaugh. We are coming in intercession and worship to bring the Kingdom of our Lord into the Supreme Court. We say, “Each seat is reserved for a pro-life, conservative constitutionalist, who believes in Christ.” We ask You to change out the seats where godly justice is not upheld. The enemy has for too long controlled the activities of the Court and we say, “Enough is enough!” We have had enough of aborted babies. Over 61 million is heart-rending! We can’t take it anymore, Lord! Forgive us for allowing it this long! Forgive our nation for the continued bloodshed. We say, “No! It is going to stop now!” Freedom is going to begin! The Supreme Court may have removed You from our nation’s schools, but we say we want You there, Jesus. Let the Court reverse itself as we, the citizens of this land, make an outcry for You. Give us Supreme Court Justices that will rule with righteousness and true biblical and constitutional justice. We will no longer accept arbitrary legislation from the bench, which often leans toward liberal, humanistic philosophies! Give us true justice, Judge of the Universe. We appeal to You, Jesus. Amen. Hope for the Nation – Part 5 [Recently, Anthony and Melissa Medina of Hopefires International interviewed me on their broadcast on the subject of hope for America. Today, we complete this series that began on 7/31/20.] Melissa We are in an era where we are going to see the manifestation of the sons and daughters of God. I love that you keep saying it doesn’t require the full Church, the full Body of Christ, to be on fire and operating in His fullness. God can start with a remnant, a small portion, that He sets ablaze, on fire like burning, shining lamps. We read in the Book of Acts that a small group of apostles were used by God to turn the world upside down! The fire that they had, we carry. It’s infectious. We can go and infect communities. We can be used to transform different spheres of influence, and even nations. Anthony We are in one of those seasons of God releasing an invitation to revelation. He’s asking us to come and sit with Him and just receive this revelation. In my opinion, there has never been a time exactly like this. We need to capture this “invitation to revelation” moment. We need to hold this so dearly and care for it, because once it passes, it’s “go” time. Those that miss it, just miss it. We need to turn aside. Dutch The things you are talking about are God’s way of preparing us. We have talked about kairos opportune times for years. We have entered ours now. We are moving into an Esther era. God has raised us up for such a time as this. This is it for us. We are moving into a fullness of time, a fullness of revelation, and a fullness of His gifting. This is going to be unlike anything the world has ever seen. Signs and wonders are going to be poured out like water. The dead will be raised. Blind eyes will be opened. Do you know that as many as 27,00 to 30,ooo Muslims a day are coming to Christ right now through dreams and visions? There are major documented miracles and large numbers of lost souls coming to Christ in other parts of the world. We are going to see that move come to our shores now. This will be unlike anything we have ever seen. The outpouring is going to be incredible! I have never been so encouraged about what God is doing and what He is about to do. “But when they did not find them, they dragged Jason and some brethren to the rulers of the city, crying out, ‘These who have turned the world upside down have come here too.’” (Acts 17:6; NKJV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Thank the Lord for the remnant that He has set ablaze—on fire like burning, shining lamps for our generation. Ask God to make you one that not only burns brightly and obviously for Him, but who carries the power and anointing to “turn the world upside down!” Believe for it! Accept the invitation the Lord is extending to His Bride now to sit with Him and receive the revelation He wants us to have. Don’t miss this opportunity. The secrets of the Lord are for those who fear Him. He wants to share them with us. Declare, “The Church is in a kairos moment! We are coming into a fullness of time, a fullness of revelation, and a fullness of His gifting.” Cry out for signs and wonders and notable miracles in America—the dead raised, blind eyes opened, the lame walking, the oppressed delivered, the lost saved in unprecedented numbers! A prayer you can pray: Father, we see that You are setting a remnant ablaze in our generation. These are the ones who have remained true to You and have not wavered in faith and intimacy. Now, they will burn white hot for you, as shining lamps showing the way to Jesus. We want to be those mantled with power and authority, carrying the anointing to “turn the world upside down” once again. Pour Your Holy Spirit out on us again! We will draw near to You and wait for this. We will sit with You and receive the revelation You want to give us. Share Your secrets with us. You know what You want us to accomplish and we want to do it all! The Church is in a kairos moment! We are coming into a fullness of time, a fullness of revelation, and a fullness of Your gifting. Pour out Your signs and wonders on this nation. Pour them out on the lost of every age and race and economic status. Pour them out in our realms of influence in our families, on those trapped in false religions, and through those working in the government arena. Pour Your Spirit out on the business realm and on the “Arts and Entertainment” industries. We declare that the media mountain will be humbled by the signs and wonders they will see. They will have to report this move of God. It will be too great not to report it! Let many in media be saved. Don’t forget education. Pour out on our students. Glorify Yourself among the teachers and the administrators who have turned so many young hearts against You in the past. Bring them to repentance, Lord. Pour Your Holy Spirit out through Your faithful ones wherever You have positioned us. Be God in our midst. Turn the world upside down once again through us, Jesus. Amen. Hope for the Nation – Part 4 [Recently, Anthony and Melissa Medina of Hopefires International interviewed me on their broadcast on the subject of hope for America. Today is a continuation of the series we began on 7/31/20.] Melissa Dutch, you have been sharing about the slumbering Church awakening and not coming under the influence of hopelessness. In what ways do you see the Church emerging in this time of great turmoil? Dutch I think there is an element of the Church that will not wake up through this. They are born again brothers and sisters, but they’re not listening or hearing. They are satisfied with where things are. That has been the case in every move of God. However, there is a remnant in this nation and around the world that has been listening and accepting and moving forward with what God is doing. There is an apostolic company. There is a prophetic company. There is an interceding company. Because we have had the apostolic restoration and we understand the governmental mantle of the apostolic calling, I believe we are about to move into the fullness of Matthew 16. This is where Christ said, “I am going to build an ekklesia (Church), and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.” If Jesus had returned before now, that verse would be a lie, because the gates of hell have prevailed against the Church at times. Jesus, however, said He was building a Church that the gates of hell will not prevail against. He used the term “ekklesia” there, which means “a legislative body”. The hordes of hell will never defeat them or set them back. They will always advance. They will know when and how to bind and loose. They will decree the advancement of Christ’s Kingdom into the earth. So, I feel He’s been restoring a revelation that we are not just a pastoral company taking care of one another. We are not just a soul-winning company. We are not just a teaching company. We are an apostolic company, which represents God’s government and His authority in the earth. We are also a prophetic company. We can hear His voice now and we can hear His strategy. We can decree for Him and become His voice in the earth. We are representing His fullness. “Now I say to you that you are Peter (which means ‘rock’), and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it. And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven.” (Matthew 16:18-19; NLT) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Intercede for the apostolic and prophetic remnant of the Church that has been listening and accepting and moving forward with what God is doing. Declare that they will keep increasing and advancing! Ask the Lord to make the sleeping Church uncomfortable in their complacency. Ask the Holy Spirit to increase the revelation of the fullness of Christ through the five-fold expressions of His nature to the whole Church, until we come into maturity across the whole earth. Say, “This is the generation of the Church, the Ekklesia of God, that will advance Christ’s Kingdom in the earth. All the powers of hell will not conquer it. We will use the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven that Jesus has given us. Whatever we forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever we permit on earth will be permitted in heaven. There will be no end to His Kingdom, and it will be solidly established in America.” A prayer you can pray: Lord, we are thankful for the remnant that continues to listen for and obey Your Holy Spirit. You promised that You would grant us and teach us about the five-fold gifts of Christ, so the saints could be trained and matured in Him. You have taught us much and we are growing into a fullness in Christ. We see faith increasing. We see anointing increasing. We see boldness increasing in the Church, as well. We ask that You would shake the remainder of the Body of Christ out of her complacency. We need all hands on deck to work against the plans of the enemy. We need all of the five-fold gifts in operation. We need grace and strength, power and glory. This is the generation of the Church, the Ekklesia of God, that will advance Christ’s Kingdom in the earth. All the powers of hell will not conquer it. We will use the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven that Jesus has given us. Whatever we forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever we permit on earth will be permitted in heaven. There will be no end to His Kingdom, and it will be solidly established in America. We proclaim this in the mighty Name of Jesus. Amen. Hope for the Nation – Part 3 [Recently, Anthony and Melissa Medina of Hopefires International interviewed me on their broadcast on the subject of hope for America. We continue this series beginning on 7/31/20.] Dutch I see the Church today as being where we were in the 1960s when the Charismatic Movement and the Jesus Movement began. Minus the pandemic, similar things were happening. There was great unrest. There was a previous wave of the Civil Rights Movement. There was a disillusioned young generation doing exactly what they are doing now. They were rioting, burning buildings, and taking over campuses. It was a bad time. Yet, God used it to awaken. He used it to get people out of a state of slumber. He got their attention and the Church began to cry out to Him. I believe that’s where we are now. I think the reset will continue for the rest of this year. I think the warfare will be great, especially through the elections. I think we are going to need to persevere through the season. We can’t get distracted by the pandemic or by anything else that satan is doing right now. He’s trying to bring discouragement so he can change God’s timing. We see this pattern in Daniel 7. If he can change the times and seasons by discouraging the Church, then he can stop what God wants to do. We’re not going to let that happen. We’re not going to let the media tell us that we are losing. We can’t be afraid that the turnaround is going to stop. It’s not going to stop! God is recalibrating our nation. He’s recalibrating the Church. There is a reset taking place. I believe by the end of this year we are going to see what God’s plan was through the whole thing, and we’re going to be moving into a full-fledged revival. “Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is an eternal God, the creator of the whole earth. He does not get tired or weary; there is no limit to his wisdom.” (Isaiah 40:28; NET) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Call the Church to become fully awake! He who calls us never slumbers or sleeps, but watches over us to deliver! Partner with Him! Focus this season on what God is doing more than what the enemy is doing. Satan is on the defensive and is trying to stop what God is doing. Intercede for God’s plans to be successful! What area does God have you watching over? Is it government, education, media, or some other area? Bind the enemy’s attacks against God’s purposes for America in the area you are called to pray. Read Isaiah 40:28 and pray, “God, You are ever watchful over us. Nothing is a surprise to You! Please give us Your wisdom in how to pray. Grant our God-fearing governing leaders your wisdom on how to lead us through this to victory!” Spend a few minutes crying out to the Lord for another Jesus Movement and a Third Great Awakening! A prayer you can pray: Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, we call for you to fully wake up! Prepare yourself and take your place on the wall on intercession in the place the Lord has given you influence and anointing in prayer. Lord, we fix our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. Open the eyes of our spirit to see what You are doing in the earth. Let us believe the prophets and prosper. You are working! That is why the enemy is so active. He sees that he is about to lose his grip on this nation. He is trying ever harder to hold his ground, but we believe Your plan is different. Those of us engaged in this spiritual battle won’t give him an inch of territory! [Intercede for the area you know you’re called to pray into—Family, Religion, Government, Business, Arts and Entertainment, Media, or Education.] Isaiah 40:28 says, “Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is an eternal God, the Creator of the whole earth. He does not get tired or weary; there is no limit to His wisdom.” God, You are ever watchful over us. Nothing is a surprise to You! Please give us Your wisdom in how to pray. Grant our God-fearing, governing leaders your wisdom on how to lead us through this to victory! We need another Jesus Movement, sweeping another generation into the Kingdom in great numbers! We need a new breed of apostles, prophets, teachers, and pastors to disciple all those the evangelists are leading to Christ. Hundreds of thousands, tens of millions! This surely is the beginning of a Third Great Awakening. Let the lost be saved, the sick healed, the oppressed go free, and let society shift and change to align with Your Kingdom principles, in Jesus’ name. Amen. Hope for the Nation – Part 2 [Recently, Anthony and Melissa Medina of Hopefires International interviewed me on their broadcast on the subject of hope for America. We continue this series beginning on 7/31/20.] Melissa In this time of uncertainty, there are so many prophetic Words and dreams being released concerning the nation. We can say that there are messages being released that are at both ends of the spectrum and everywhere in between. We want to hear from you, an Apostle over America. You are someone who carries an intercessory burden for this nation like few others. So, Dutch, what has the Lord shown you about where we are on His prophetic timeline? Dutch We need to back up to the first of the year and even late last year. Chuck Pierce began to receive Words about this plague, although he didn’t have the name of it. I know he wasn’t the only one. God hasn’t been caught off guard by it and I don’t think He caused it. At the same time, just as God said through Joseph, “Just as the enemy had a plan, God has a plan.” It became clear to me as I listened to Chuck and prayed into this that God is going to use this time as a “reset”. Chuck appeared to be saying that this is not going to ultimately interrupt the plan of God. To the contrary, God will use it as a reset of the Church. God has forced the Church through this to slow down and listen to Him. We can’t rely on our programs and our 10-year plans. We have literally been forced to sit still and ask the Lord, “What are You saying right now?” The prophetic Church is having to be the prophetic Church, and the apostolic Church is having to be the apostolic Church. We are now having to do what we have been taught. We thought that breakthrough would begin by Passover. We felt by Pentecost we would literally be moving into this new season. I know we have moved into a new era. I also know we have been awakened to a sense of desperation. We should turn to God and say, “What’s going on here and what can we do about it?” God is now going to use the disillusionment and concern to keep drawing us to Him. “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.” (Genesis 50:20; NIV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Worship the Lord, who loves us and desires to save us and not to harm us. Remind yourself and say out loud, “The enemy has a plan, but God has a plan. God is not on the defensive! The enemy is trying to stop God’s plan, not the other way around.” Declare Joseph’s decree, “Satan, you intended to harm us, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives!” Check who you are listening to prophetically. Are you looking for true Words that are confirmed by 2 or 3 reputable prophets or are you embracing “words” that align with your fears? Repent if your fear is increasing and let Him heal your fear and the effects of any disillusionment you are carrying. Are you personally seeking the Lord at all or only the myriad of prophetic voices out there right now? Tuck in close to Him and ask Him what’s on His heart. A prayer you can pray: God, we worship You! You love Your Church so desperately. If we can only let that really sink in! You are always the Savior and Deliverer! The enemy has a plan, but he is attacking, because he sees that You have a plan. You are not on the defensive! The enemy is trying to stop Your plan, and not the other way around! Keep the Body of Christ from deception! Keep reminding us of the way things work. This realization causes hope for deliverance to rise in Your people. When satan attacks like this, we can be sure that You will use the situation to save many lives from the fires of hell. It is Revival and Awakening time! Lord, forgive us when we have been watching many prophetic videos and reading many prophetic Words to see what You are saying. We should be sitting still and asking You what You are doing. We should let You lead us to the Words You want us to be aware of. Forgive us for aligning our fearful hearts with words that have caused fear to root in us, instead of hope and faith. Cleanse those words from our hearts and minds, and increase the discernment in the Church. Let hope arise in us, and let the effects of disillusionment and fear fade away in the knowledge and security of Your love, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
