America Shall Be Saved!

Since the daily Give Him 15 posts must be written and recorded the day before their release, I am writing this on Election Day and obviously don’t yet know the outcomes. I’ll address the results in tomorrow’s post.

I stated several weeks ago that we will need a miracle to keep both branches of Congress in the hands of conservatives. Americans, almost without exception, vote against the party that won the previous presidential election. Only twice in the last 80 years has this been overcome. However, we have prayed, and many have worked very hard – especially President Trump. By the time you see or hear this, we will know the outcome.

Here is what I know for certain as I write this. My faith is in God and His plans for America, not a political party. Whether Americans stay the course and allow further positive change now, or put the party that wants to stop those changes in power, God’s plan will move forward. Whether that be with renewed momentum, or through God’s pre-planned audible, He will move us forward. The overriding factor in the saving of America is a Third Great Awakening. Having the right people in power doesn’t change this; it simply makes things easier for us. But either way, America shall be saved.

(I am not stating this because I feel conservatives will lose the House or Senate, by the way. I’m simply saying that I know God’s plans, and I know He has raised up a growing, praying remnant that will not waver in their faith regarding those plans, regardless of election results.)

The first time I recall hearing the phrase, “America shall be saved,” it was a quote from Reinhard Bonnke. Bonnke (1940-2019) was a German-American evangelist, principally known for his crusades throughout Africa. Millions of people came to Christ in his meetings, which were marked by great miracles. Later in his ministry, Bonnke became very burdened for America. In 2013, he made the following statement:

“God spoke to me that the time has come for a mighty wave of salvation to sweep the U.S. from city to city, from state to state, and from coast to coast. I’ve seen God shake whole nations in Africa — nations I thought God had given up on suddenly were in the grip of the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ. And then I came to the only conclusion one can come to: I have turned into an incurable believer that God can do the same in America that I’ve seen done in Africa. I’ve seen it. I’ve experienced it. I have witnesses by the millions that this is the truth. And I will not join the choir of the prophets of doom and gloom. This day is the day of salvation!”(1)

Then in February, Bonnke proclaimed at a two-day meeting in his then hometown of Vero Beach, FL, “America shall be saved!”(2)

Another great confirmation came to me in 2018. We hosted a prayer gathering in Washington, D.C. in February of that year. It was called The Turnaround. This was one of the most significant and powerful prayer gatherings I have ever participated in. Just before the conference ended, I was handed the following dream, given to Gina Gholston. We ended the gathering by sharing it:

“I dreamed that two friends (fellow intercessors), my Mom and Dad, and I were walking down Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, D.C. I knew The Turnaround conference (at the Trump Hotel) was ending at that very moment.

“I turned and saw a courier angel coming out of the hotel’s doors. He was carrying a scroll, not a huge scroll, but fairly large. His face was set toward the U.S. Capitol building, and he immediately headed in that direction.

“We decided to follow him, and did so even as he went into the Capitol. We then entered the House Chambers. The scene was like that of a State of the Union address. All the lawmakers were in their seats, and many other people were in the gallery. It was a packed house.

“The courier angel with the scroll was standing at the double doors in the back, those through which the Presidents enter for the State of the Union address. As the angel stood there, he loudly announced, with authority and confidence, ‘ALL RISE!’ And just as had happened at the previous State of the Union Address (Trump’s first), some people stood, while others disrespectfully and snidely stayed seated.

“The angel then opened the scroll and said - very loudly and adamantly, ‘The verdict has been determined: AMERICA SHALL BE SAVED!’ Immediately, a ‘cloud,’ no doubt the glory of God, came from behind the angel and filled the room.

“Those who were standing crumpled to their knees, weeping, overcome by the reality of God’s presence. Some who had remained seated were now on their knees, shouting, ‘I'm sorry!!! I'm so sorry!!’ Others, with their hardened hearts, remained seated. I knew judgment was beginning, and God’s ruling authority was being established. Transformation and reformation were initiated; America’s new path had begun.” End of dream.

Since 2000, I have believed that America will be saved. In spite of the filth, apostasy in the church, lies, wicked people in government, the revising of our history, lying educators, corrupt media, overwhelming debt, and the disconnection from our spiritual roots, I have been confident that America shall be saved. And it shall!

See you tomorrow.

Pray with me:

Father, we have determined to believe You, regardless of what we see. Whether by many or few, You are saving America (1 Samuel 14:6). If today’s election outcome is what we wanted, we believe YOU. If not, we believe YOU. Thank You for the words You have given regarding Your verdict over America. We refuse to transfer our faith to a manmade verdict. Elections matter, and we care about the results, but they don’t determine our faith.

Today, we continue to call forth the Third Great Awakening to America, and also a worldwide revival. We ask for this to sweep through our land with Your immeasurable power and strength. You have said that mercy is America’s new currency, meaning that the response You needed from believers, even though only a remnant, has occurred, allowing You to give us mercy. We ask for this now: send a mercy-driven revival! And we thank You for doing so! Amen.
