The Place Called “There”

Psalm 133:3 says “there the Lord commands the blessing.” God’s looking for a place called “there”. It’s the place where we drop our agendas and come together and believe. He’s looking for red and yellow, black and white, old and young, male and female, to come together to worship Him and work together to accomplish His Will. There He will bless us!

“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, the beard of Aaron, running down on the edge of his garments. It is like the dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountains of Zion; for there the Lord commanded the blessing—life forevermore.” (Psalm 133: 1-3; NKJV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  1. One of the reasons the enemy’s agenda has been so far advanced is because the body of Christ just won’t work together. We camp out on denominational and doctrinal issues. Let’s repent and commit to put those differences aside for the sake of Kingdom advancement.

  2. It is said that Sunday morning is the most segregated time of the week. Repent and get your pastors to do joint services together with churches that are primarily a different race than yours.

  3. Traditionally, evangelical churches reject women in leadership. Realize that there is no male or female in the Kingdom. Spiritual gifts are bestowed on both. Hold a prayer meeting for city and national issues where men and women pray equally. It’s okay to do these things on purpose until it becomes natural.

A prayer you can pray:

Father, we desire to get “there”—to that place of unity where You command Your blessing! We want to be a blessed people who live in a blessed city and a blessed America! Forgive us for separating ourselves by denomination, race, gender and age. Help us to start prayer meetings where we purposefully invite others who are different than we are! We want You in our midst and we want the blessing we will receive when we walk in unity! In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

Today’s decree:

We will work hard to have unity with other Believers, so that we can experience the fullness of the unity God wants us bless us and bless America with!
