Reflections
Thinking back over the last week, we can clearly see roots of a nation in covenant relationship with God. We’re not in such a place now. In fact, as a nation we have become morally corrupt, ignorant of our history and cold toward God. We are part of a remnant who believes God can send a third Great Awakening, but some are giving up.
“Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold.” (Matthew 24:12; NIV)
Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:
Ask the Lord to stir up faith in you and grant you the grace to finish well.
Pray for those you know whose hearts are growing disillusioned and cold.
Commit yourself to passionate intercession for a Third Great Awakening.
A prayer you can pray:
Dear Lord, I desire to be faithful to the end. I believe that You are more concerned than I am that many in the Church are becoming complacent and are losing hope. Wickedness is increasing every day and we need You to come and save us! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Today’s decree:
I decree that the Lord is stirring up a Third Great Awakening right now!
