One More Night with the Frogs
I consider it an important responsibility to keep hope alive for America, thereby keeping motivation strong to pray and work for change. Anyone who follows me, even occasionally, knows I believe America will be saved and her destiny restored. They also know I believe a great awakening is beginning that will be the game-changer for all of this. It is vital that we keep our mind on His promises, our focus on the finish line, and our eyes on the prize.
Faith, however, does not require us to live in denial of facts or reality. It simply denies the right of any present reality which contradicts God’s Word and will to continue existing. AND, biblical faith perseveres until this occurs.
With this understanding, it is not a contradiction of faith to point out the needs, problems, shortcomings, etc., our nation is facing. Nor is it a contradiction of faith to assess where we are in the process of restoration. On the contrary, this helps us understand how to pray effectively and accurately. With this in mind, I want to give some analysis of where America is in the process.
We have seen progress in America’s journey back toward our roots, truth, common sense, and wholeness. Conservatives now have a majority on the Supreme Court; we have seen the reversal of the evilest ruling our nation has ever enacted, Roe versus Wade; our education system has now been exposed as the indoctrination agency it is; parents have been awakened and are making a stand; evil in our government, including hypocrisy, dishonesty, greed, and antichrist ideologies, continues to be exposed; the media is no longer trusted; conservatives took back the House; entire states are turning to conservatism; and most of all, the Ekklesia is growing, “appeals to heaven” are multiplying.
Now, for some of the “not so encouraging” reality I alluded to earlier. Election cycles are obviously very good indicators of where we are as a nation. Millions of Americans, knowing the left is making a horrible mess of many things, nevertheless voted for them again. Liberal agendas, government handouts, loan forgiveness promises, the enabling of rebellion, woke lies, love of self over babies (abortion), party loyalty, and more, were too enticing. Even though over 70% of Americans said they were unhappy with or concerned about the direction of our nation,(1) many of them nevertheless decided to roll the dice in hopes that their leftist ideals could continue without totally destroying us. The pain and discomfort was not quite strong enough.
Those who voted for this cannot feign ignorance. They know the left is mutilating children in the name of transgenderism. They know sexual perverts are dancing for kindergartners in attempts to seduce them into homosexuality and amoral lifestyles. They know parents are persecuted for objecting to this.
They know it is stupid to shut down the production of our natural energy resources, while begging our enemies to supply us with the same. They know crime is on the rise while the prosecution of criminals is decreasing. They know police and our border patrol officers work hard, sacrifice, do a great job, and yet are lied about and persecuted.
They know our government botched the Covid pandemic immeasurably, resulting in the deaths of thousands of people, devastating consequences to our children, losses of livelihoods, and trillions of dollars of damage to our economy.
They know our federal government cannot be trusted, our schools are failing, our economy is weak, our military is unprepared, our media is dishonest, and the nation, once respected more than any other, is now a laughingstock.
They know our borders are not secure and that this is suicidal, even though Biden’s administration continues to lie, stating otherwise. Five million illegals have come into America in two years. According to Brandon Judd, National Border Patrol Council President, there have been a million “gottaways” since Biden took office. Regarding these individuals, we have no idea of their past, their affiliations, or their intentions. Without question, Americans will die from their terrorism, gang activities, murders, and drugs. Humans will be trafficked, women will be raped. Ninety-six percent (96%) of fentanyl comes through our southern border, killing a hundred thousand Americans every year.(2) Do not kid yourself; these deaths and the potential future terrorism from a million “gottaways” are merely the price required to gain future votes for the Left. Collateral damage. The price of power. This is beyond despicable; it is heinous and betrays shocking levels of callousness, indecency, and selfish ambition. Every person on the left knows it is happening, including those in Congress, but is willing to accept it for the votes.
In the 2020 and 2022 elections, Americans were offered more relief from the ravages of leftism. Many voted for this change, but many others chose instead to trust those with antichrist, immoral, socialistic, and leftist ideologies, hoping that somehow the fruit of this would not continue to destroy us. It is an indication of just how successful the indoctrination of two generations of Americans has been. Perhaps the scariest fact of all is that they actually believe much of the lunacy of the left. And their leaders exploit this to stay in power. Even some Christian leaders jumped on the Woke Train.
Now it’s time to pay the piper.
After millions of Amerians acknowledged concern for America’s direction, their request for more of the same reminds me of the story of Moses and Pharaoh in Exodus chapter 8. One of the plagues God released against Egypt to judge Pharaoh’s wickedness was an infestation of frogs (Exodus 8:1-15). “The Nile will swarm with frogs, which will come up and go into your house and into your bedroom and on your bed, and into the houses of your servants and on your people, and into your ovens and into your kneading bowls,” (verse 3).
After this occurred, Pharaoh summoned Moses and said, “Please ask the Lord to remove these frogs from me and my people, and I will let you go and sacrifice to the Lord,” (verse 8).
Moses’ response seems strange. “I will give you, Pharaoh, the honor of choosing when I do this. When shall I ask the Lord to do this?”
“Tomorrow,” Pharaoh replied. “Not right now. Give us one more night with the frogs.”
On November 8, 2022, millions of Americans said, “Give us two more years with the frogs. Two more years of inflation. Two more years of drug infestation and human trafficking. Two more years of shortages, two more years of violence. Two more years of an inept and lying government. Two more years of emboldening China and Russia...one more term with the frogs.
Americans will receive what they asked for. I have been saying for quite some time, “It is going to get worse before it gets better. The shaking will continue.” And so it shall. Does this mean we will not see revival? The saving of America? Absolutely not. The unfortunate reaping is actually a part of the saving of America. It’s our wake-up call. God must bring this nation to its knees, and He is doing so, simply by turning us over to ourselves.
The next two years will see two simultaneous build-ups. 1) Difficulties - the shaking - will increase, and 2) The outpouring of Holy Spirit will continue to build momentum and strength. Many woke Christians will wake up, numerous Americans will say, “Enough!” Perhaps we will reach a significant enough desperation before the two years are completed. God certainly does not need to wait until the next election to bring about some changes, and certainly not to pour out His Spirit. In fact, those who are ready can and will begin experiencing it now.
Be encouraged that our prayers are working, Church. If not for the prayers of a remnant, America would not survive. God is using our prayers to expose evil, release mercy, and save this nation. We are writing history; it will be said of us, “A generation arose that refused to take ‘no’ for an answer. They persevered in prayer and faith, refused to waver, and pulled a nation out of destruction and death.”
Pray with me:
Father, we know that sin has wages and seeds bear fruit. You are not mocked. Your ways and laws cannot be annulled; what we sow, we will reap. America has sown much rebellion and evil, and we are now reaping the fruit of this. And yet, we also know You are a God of mercy. You delight in mercy, Your mercy is new every day, and You said it triumphs over judgment. You love to redeem, and the blood of Jesus cleanses from all sin.
Just as occurred with the prodigal in the pigpen, the nation of Israel several times, and America in our history, You will use our difficulties to awaken us to our condition and need. We believe that in Your mercy, You will cause this awakening to occur before it is too late; what You have spoken over us will be fulfilled: America shall be saved.
We anchor our faith to this. We will not waver; we will not falter. And we will press into the outpouring of Your Spirit even now, during the challenging times in our nation. For those who will receive it, revival is here. And Father, no matter how difficult the shaking becomes, we know You will care for Your children. In Christ’s name we pray, Amen.
Our decree:
We decree that the shaking WILL bring needed cleansing to America, but also that the difficult days ahead will NOT shake our faith or diminish our praying. We will walk in joy, strength, and the blessing of heaven.
