“This is a unique season. There are specific decrees that need to be made. Don’t make the mistake that some generations have made where you win the war, but you lose the peace. In Esther 8, when Esther received permission to write a new decree and Mordecai wrote it, the people had to actually follow up and do something to enforce that decree. I can assure you that what we are doing in this hour will require follow up work to enforce the decrees that God gives us to speak. If we don’t do the work, we can lose the peace, even though we may have won the spiritual battle.” (Mike Jacobs, 3/23/18, The Turnaround Event)1
“The LORD will give strength to His people; The LORD will bless His people with peace.” (Psalm 29:11; NASB)
“But someone may well say, ‘You have faith and I have works; show me your faith without the works, and I will show you my faith by my works.’” (James 2:18; NASB)
Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:
Prayer and intercession are primary relational spiritual activities of the Church with Christ, our Savior and Lord. This is the way we talk with Him and get His instructions. Try to increase your prayer time this week.
We advance His Kingdom in the earth when we decree His Word and then act on it. We decree it in faith, believing. Decree Psalm 29:11 over the Church.
We must come out of the prayer room and take action at times in order to bring peace into our realms of influence. Save the lost, heal the sick, cast out demons, feed the hungry, clothe the homeless, serve in the PTA, call your elected officials, run for public office, adopt a child, or do something that effects Kingdom change.
A prayer you can pray:
Father, increase my heart for intercession. I want to talk to You more and I want to hear Your voice more. Out of that place of intimacy, give me direction, assignments, and decrees to decree. Fill me with faith to go do the works that are Kingdom-expanding. Give me faith to decree things that may sound strange to my ears, but are Bible-based truth, for Your ways are not mine and You carry out Your Word to perform it. You will give strength to Your people to carry out Your Word and will bless us with peace as we do so in the Name of Jesus. Amen.
I decree that the Church will expand the Kingdom in the U.S. by our prayers, our decrees and our faith-filled actions!
