Moving in a Prophetic Era
Pastors and teachers, you’re going to need to teach from the River. You are going to have to dare to move out of your notes. The Lord has been trying to stir up a prophetic anointing in some of you for a while. He’s been trying to stretch you. When you get up to speak, you’re feeling the urge to start prophesying, but you’re afraid to make that leap. If you will make that leap, some of you are going to start prophesying 20 and 30 and 40 minutes or an hour. God’s going to start opening up windows of heaven to you. You’re going to get words of knowledge and that’s going to release the power gifts of miracles and signs and wonders.
But, the Lord is saying to you, “I am not going to release the miracles, signs, and wonders, until you let Me break you out of the fear of moving into the prophetic realm. Those gifts flow out of the prophetic realm. They don’t flow out of the “order” realm. Order positions you for it, but the prophetic realm of revelation moves you into the power gifts.
God says, “I want to start moving you into those things, but you are going to have to take a leap of faith and open your heart to revelation.”
“But this is what was uttered through the prophet Joel: ‘And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams; even on my male servants and female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit, and they shall prophesy. And I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke; the sun shall be turned to darkness and the moon to blood, before the day of the Lord comes, the great and magnificent day. And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.’” (Acts 2:16-21; ESV)
Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:
Proclaim the prophecy of Joel as related in Acts 2:16-21 or Joel 2:28-32 into the earth.
Declare, “It is time for the release of the fullness of the prophetic declaration into the earth.”
Ask God for a greater measure of faith to prophecy, for the Word says we prophecy according to our faith. Determine to prophesy your prayers.
Say, “I want to start moving with You into greater prophetic declaration and proclamation of things, but I am going to have to take a leap of faith. Open my heart to revelation, Lord.”
Intercede for the leaders in the Body of Christ to begin to prophesy their messages.
Pray for the hearts of the people to hear and embrace and act upon the Word of the Lord.
A prayer you can pray:
God, through the prophet Joel, and repeated in the Book of Acts at the birth of the Church, You declared, “I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams; even on my male servants and female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit, and they shall prophesy. And I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke; the sun shall be turned to darkness and the moon to blood, before the day of the Lord comes, the great and magnificent day. And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” We declare in response, “It is time for the release of the fullness of the prophetic declaration into the earth.” Teach us to open our mouths in this era and prophesy. We shall prophesy our prayers and our sermons. We shall prophesy over our families, our cities, and our nation. We shall seek You for Your Words and declare them. We want to start moving with You into greater prophetic declaration and proclamation of things, but we are going to have to take a leap of faith. Open our hearts to revelation, Lord. Help the Body of Christ to move into this prophetic era. Let us hear You clearly, proclaim Your Word, and act on it in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Today’s decree:
It is the day the Lord shall cause His people to prophesy!
