Turning From Lawlessness to Awakening
“When President Trump was inaugurated, there was a firestorm of protest almost immediately. The behavior of the lawless crowd on the evening of the inauguration vandalized Washington, D.C. They threw rocks, bottles, and feces at law enforcement officers, swearing that they will not stop until Donald Trump has been brought down. The stage had been being set over a number of years. We have seen increasing lawlessness across the nation. We have seen lawlessness at the Supreme Court, which gave us Obergefell and same sex marriage. That decision was like poking the Creator in the eye. This increase of rebellion from the top to the bottom of our government, forebodes a very dark day. We, the Ekklesia, must intercede and vote and not allow the spread of this affront to God. We can’t allow our freedom to be destroyed and immorality to run amok. We need awakening, revival, and reformation in our nation.” (Pierre Bynum)1
“O God, when you lead your people into battle, when you march through the desert, the earth shakes, yes, the heavens pour down rain before God, the God of Sinai, before God, the God of Israel. O God, you cause abundant showers to fall on your chosen people.” (Psalm 68:7-9a; NET)
Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:
As God brings revival to our land, may it come from the bottom up and the top down! Call it forth!
Intercede for God’s wave of revival to wash over every sphere of culture and especially civil government, which impacts every segment and subset of society.
Intercede for the day to come when we, like ancient Judah, come with fruits of repentance, as one man in solemn assembly to truly dedicate our nation back wholly to Him!
A prayer you can pray:
God, bring revival to the government of America from the top down and the bottom up! We call it forth, in Jesus’ name! Let Your tsunami of revival wash across America. Wash Washington. Wash over civil government. Wash over education, business, media, and the arts. Wash away the rebellion and lawlessness. Wash in an awakening and awareness of You and Your ways! We position ourselves in repentance for the sin of our nation. We intercede to dedicate our nation back to you. Jesus, we love You. We need You. Come to America! Amen.
Today’s decree:
We decree awakening, revival, and reformation of civil government!
