He is Risen!

Jesus Christ is risen! He received terrible lashes for our healing. He died to deal with the sin and iniquity of all mankind. He rose from the dead and defeated death, hell and the grave! He has dealt with every vestige of the curse of Adam! If we have accepted Christ, why then do so many of us live in such defeat? What revelation do we need to see the appropriation of the blessings of our eternal life in Him? The Bible says we must only believe.

“Overhearing what they said, Jesus told him, ‘Don’t be afraid; just believe.’” (Mark 5:36; NIV)

Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:

  1. Today we are going to pray the Word. Jesus is the Living Word. If you are born again, all of these promises are yours. Let faith arise in you to make these scriptural declarations.

  2. “For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” (Matthew 17:20; NIV)

  3. “If You can?” echoed Jesus. ‘All things are possible to him who believes!’” (Mark 9:23; NIV) Immediately the father of the child cried out and said, ‘I believe; help my unbelief!’” (Mark 9:24; NIV)

  4. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” (Mark 11:24; NIV)

  5. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16; NIV)

  6. “But Jesus overheard them and said to Jairus, ’Do not be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.’” (Luke 8:50; NIV)

  7. “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” (Romans 15:13; NIV)

A prayer you can pray:

(Today, declare the scriptures above. If you get stuck on one or find it hard to declare, take your time and talk through it with the Lord. Jesus died to set you free! Happy Resurrection Day!)

Today’s decree:

I am a BELIEVER in the Lord, Jesus Christ!
