Praying over the Choptank River which feeds into the Chesapeake Bay.

Hi Kathy yes I will be going out on my dock as soon as it warms up a bit and pouring some anointing oil in the river.

I know you will be doing all the water prayers from Dutch as well. May I suggest that you also put in a salt anointing because it is a perpetural covenant that states Jesus as King forever

You shall season your every offering of meal with salt; you shall not omit from your meal offering the salt of your covenant with God; with all your offerings you must offer salt. (Lev. 2:13) 

Surely you know that the God of Israel gave David kingship over Israel forever—to him and his sons—by a covenant of salt. (2 Chron. 13:5) 

“All the heave offerings of the holy things, which the children of Israel offer to the LORD, I have given to you and your sons and daughters with you as an ordinance forever; it is a covenant of salt forever before the LORD with you and your descendants with you.” 

“We plant this salt, Father, as a sign of the perpetual Covenant of Salt between you and your people.  We lay it down as a sacred sign that The Son of God rules and reigns forever over this water..  We declare this salt is a sword of salt to pierce the heavens and bring down the blessings of God in this place. 

 We declare that the reason Christ came was to destroy the works of the devil. 

Yahweh, Holy Father, We ask you to send your heavenly hosts to war in our behalf so that the gospel of Christ can be empowered everywhere it is righteously preached.  And may your holy foundation be built in this region and all the people blessed. 

As we pour the salt on the ground, we declare this land blessed with peace. Let the water now be fruitful and multiply and give abundant supply to all who live on it.  Amen
