Seismic Significance On Monday, I gave a brief report regarding this past Friday night’s prayer gathering, but today is my first complete post since the event. I was totally exhausted from the weeks leading up to it and the lengthy service that night. I’m sure I wasn’t functioning at 100% while praying for people personally at the end, but my dear friends Rodney and Stephanie Lord joined me and, without a doubt, carried the load. Thanks to the two of them! (And if I prayed for you and it seemed I was not quite myself, please forgive me; I was beyond tired.) I can honestly say that the evening was unlike anything I have been blessed to participate in. In two weeks’ time, Holy Spirit sovereignly orchestrated an international gathering of the praying church, the ekklesia, with hundreds of thousands participating around the world. The team’s unity was tremendous and remained unbroken throughout, with no personal agendas entering the meeting, and Holy Spirit led the prayers, which were very Scripture based. We petitioned the Lord, asking for His intervention and breakthrough, and declared His Word with authority and strength as Holy Spirit led us. Those in attendance were also completely engaged and in full agreement with the prayers released publicly. I have every confidence that the same thing could be said of the over 1000 churches that joined us. The reports have been absolutely wonderful. In the words of my spiritual father, Jim Hodges, whom I have quoted several times of late, “I believe the event had seismic significance for the advancement of Christ’s Kingdom and a lasting impact on the Body of Christ. It was so powerful that the global church won’t go back to business as usual!” If you couldn’t join us, or would like to listen and pray again, you can do so at OasisWiredOnline YouTube. Many people are saying, “Please do more gatherings of this nature so that the corporate ekklesia can do what we are called to do.” We hear you, feel the same stirring in our hearts, and are praying about it. Without question, Christ has built an ekklesia in our day that has reached levels of maturity none of us have witnessed before. We dare not waste it. Obviously, none of us on a frequent basis can sustain the kind of energy output, or the expenditure of time and money we did for this gathering. But we can continue to pray daily in our private times and with other groups we are part of. And we must. The enemy suffered a huge blow Friday night. And though the analogy is not perfect, any athlete knows that when you have the opponent “on his heels” or “on the ropes,” you don’t let up. You unleash a flurry, and we should do the same now. We should declare daily the Lord’s victory over the terrorist regime in Iran, and His great revival there and in the Middle East. We should ask for wise strategy and pinpoint accuracy for our national leaders as they strategize on how to approach the situation; the head of the serpent must be removed. God wants to free and bless the people of the Middle East, not see them oppressed, and He wants to release the love of Christ to each one of them. He does not want a rogue nation forcing its oppressive and cruel ideology on others. Nor does He want a nuclear-weaponized Iran. And He certainly wants to send a great harvest. We should have zero doubt that when we pray these things, we are praying according to His will; and we know that when we pray according to His will, we have the requests we ask of Him (1 John 5:14-15). We can also be assured that Jesus has all authority in heaven and on earth (Matthew 28:18-20); and that He has been given all the nations or ethnic peoples of the earth as His inheritance (Psalm 2:7-8). The harvest in Iran and the Middle East is ripe and now is the time to reap. Join God’s great company of harvesters through your prayers! And while we pray for the Middle East and other regions of the world, we must not forget America. Despite what some believe, a weakened America means a more volatile world, and a weaker church in America hinders God’s worldwide purposes. The light in “the city on the hill” must not grow dim; it must be bright. This is why we must have the Third Great Awakening; it is not an option. We must pray against the ideologies of Marxism, progressivism, Islam, and every other belief system that wants to erode America’s Christian faith and influence. God owns every square inch of America (Psalm 24:1), established it as a nation for His purposes, and those purposes are coming to their greatest significance. Please pray daily for this great awakening and pray for our national leaders. Elijah prayed for rain until it came (1 Kings 18:41-45). Daniel prayed until Michael defeated the principalities operating around him (Daniel 10). The New Testament tells us to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17). Don’t stop now, church; we are making great headway. I conclude with the words of Paul in 1 Corinthians 16:9: “For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.” Paul was not blind to the opposition, which he referenced as “many,” but he chose to pursue the great opportunity. “Great” is the Greek word megas, from which we get our English word mega. This wasn’t just any door. It was a mega door of great opportunity. If there was ever a time when we could say we are experiencing mega opportunities, even though we’re opposed by great opposition, it is now. But “if God is for us, who can be successful against us?” (Romans 8:31; AMP). “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might” (Ephesians 6:10). Pray with me: Father, thank You for so sovereignly orchestrating last Friday night. No one else could possibly take credit for it. Thank You also for leading us so strategically. And thank You for raising up such a great, unselfish company of believers determined to do Your will. I know You were pleased. Give us the stamina and endurance to stay the course. Give strength to Your praying army around the world. Give them a greater level of spiritual hearing and discernment; we need great revelation. Show each individual, prayer group, local assembly, and ministry their role to play. Give them a heightened sense of urgency at this time. Help them to see the mega door open for the church throughout the world, and give them the boldness to go through it. Awaken! Awaken! Awaken! And we pray for our national leaders, especially President Trump and his team. Keep them from making any wrong alliances or agreements. Give them Your wisdom and understanding, and cause it to override everything else. Make all deception abundantly clear. Make all compromise abundantly clear. May he and his staff remain determined not to “kick the can” to the next generation. Give them the wisdom and determination they need to cut the head off of this serpent in the Middle East once and for all. We ask all of this in Jesus’ name. Amen. Our decree: We decree that the praying church around the world will not regress, but will go to the next level of authority, discernment, determination, and fervency. Introduction Our friend, Gina Gholston, sent this wonderful testimony to encourage us as we believe God for miracles in our lives. It’s a great follow-up to this past Friday night. The title of her post is: PawPaw’s Miracle Recently, the Oasis Church in Middletown, Ohio, hosted the Ekklesia Prayer Coalition and Healing Summit. Powerful prayers and declarations were made as intercessors joined in faith and agreement for God to move powerfully in our world and in the lives of people who need His intervention. Multitudes of people were no doubt touched, healed, delivered, and helped as Holy Spirit worked through our collective prayers, leaving a trail of undeniable testimonies. It is so important that those testimonies do not fade away. We must share them with others so they can know the reality of Jesus and His willingness and ability to work supernaturally on our behalf. The Lord kept pressing this on my heart, so I thought I would share a testimony with you today to help build your faith in our incomparable and almighty Father, God! When I was around age seven, my cousins and I were riding our bicycles down our grandparents’ driveway. At the end of the drive was a slight curve that led to the main road where we would turn around and make our way back up the hill to the shade tree where we would stop and rest as though we had been on a long journey. We had made this trip many times, but for some reason, I didn’t want to go around the curve that day, so I stopped and waited while my cousins went ahead. It was only a matter of maybe a minute that they came running back up the driveway without their bicycles, crying and screaming, “PAWPAW IS ON FIRE!” Grandpa had been working on a car that had stalled at the end of the driveway. To get the car to start, he primed the carburetor by pouring gasoline into it, and during this process, the engine backfired. The gasoline ignited, leaving my grandpa with severe burns on his face and body. As my cousins ran to the house, I arrived in time to see Grandpa removing his shirt to snuff out the flames. His hair was singed, and portions of his hands, arms, and face were severely burned. I ran to his side, crying. He calmly said, “Let’s go to the house.” And that’s what we did. We entered the house to find Grandma crying. Fear had already made its entrance into her heart just from hearing what had happened. Seeing Grandpa in this horrible condition exacerbated the intensity of it. “What are we going to do?” she frantically cried. Grandpa’s words to her were more of a statement of faith than a response. He said, “We can pray!” And pray they did! The peace of God filled the room as Grandpa’s faith gave Yahweh access to enter and intervene. Some family members took Grandpa to the emergency room at a local hospital. Doctors debrided all of the many severe burns. They gave him a prescription for pain medications and told him to get it filled. His response to that was, “I won’t need it.” They replied, “Oh, you will definitely need it.” But he didn’t. Grandpa was a simple man with a strong faith in God. He didn’t just believe God exists; he believed God was, is, and always will be Almighty, and that He would always be faithful to keep His Word. Past experience had taught him that. Born in 1906, he had witnessed his share of hard times. His father had died from an influenza outbreak when Grandpa was a teenager, so he had to grow up very quickly. He began working as a coal miner and eventually became a farmer. Grandpa didn’t have an education. He couldn’t read and could barely write enough to sign his own name. However, he asked God to help him learn to read the Bible, and the Lord answered. He loved the Word of God, and He loved the God of the Word. He modeled a life that exemplified his trust in the Lord. Everyone who knew Grandpa knew about Jesus—he made sure of it! So, in the face of this horrific incident, when given the choice to be afraid or to trust God, He chose to trust God. And why would he not? Yahweh’s track record had proven Him to be faithful time and time again! To everyone’s amazement, those burns completely healed. Miraculously, he never even had a scar. If he had pain, we never knew about it. God supernaturally kept him and healed him. What was a horrible accident that could have led to debilitation or even death was turned into a testimony of the power of faith in God. Everyone knew it had to be God. There was no other explanation. That miracle profoundly impacted my life. I had witnessed God’s power at work in and through my grandpa. I saw faith in action, and that moment is forever embedded in my memory and has served as a constant reminder that God was real and a Healer. He was faithful and trustworthy! We may not always understand what happens in our lives, but through it all, we can trust God to lead us. He is a faithful Father, and our decision to trust and follow Him gives Him access into our lives to work according to His will for His glory and for our good. I am not saying everyone’s experience will be exactly the same as my grandpa’s. God leads people in various ways to bring healing and help. In some situations, God may use a doctor’s hands to bring healing. Sometimes healing is instant, and other times it is a process. God works in different ways. But what I am saying is that when we follow Him, however He leads, He will work in and through our lives, giving evidence of His love and power. In turn, our experiences with the Lord create testimonies, stories that can be told to impact others on their journey. Just as my grandpa’s decision to trust God opened the way for him to encounter the Lord in a very powerful way, the testimony born from that experience touched many other lives, including mine... and now, even yours. The greatest gift we can give those influenced by our lives is to let Jesus be seen in us as He works for us and through us. As we experience His fullness, we become a light that illuminates a path that will lead others to Him. Pray with me: Father, thank You for Jesus. Thank You for the price that He paid for our healing. The brokenness of His body brought healing to ours; by His stripes we are healed. Thank You for Your willingness to step into our situations as a very present help in our times of need. You are mighty to save, deliver, provide, protect, and heal. Your power has not changed. We may not always understand Your ways, but we trust You. You are always right, just, faithful, and sovereign. We believe the love You have for us, and by faith, we receive the fullness of all that You desire to impart. As we receive from You, give us wisdom and courage to then share our testimonies with others. May our testimonies bear witness to the reality of Jesus, allowing His light to shine into their lives. And Father, thank You again for allowing us to partner with You on Friday night [August 14, 2026]. People came from all over the country and watched in many parts of the world. It was truly an international prayer meeting - to You be all the glory. We fan the flames of our intercession today by declaring that not one word fell to the ground (1 Samuel 3:19), and You are working mightily to bring Your power to bear in the Middle East. Transform, move mightily, and save millions. In Jesus’ name. Amen! Our decree: The light of Christ is shining through our lives, and as we release our testimonies, that light is illuminating a path that leads others to Him. A Report from Friday Night Monday’s posts are typically written and recorded on the previous Friday. I waited on this one, however, in order to give a brief report of the prayer gathering this past Friday night at my brother’s church. It will be shorter than usual due to my weariness - I’m wimping out. The prayer meeting for Iran and the Middle East was a powerful end to a 2-week marathon. I’ve never been part of an endeavor more initiated and orchestrated by Holy Spirit. He made it overwhelmingly clear that this was His idea, and He blessed it accordingly. Ninety thousand believers joined us on livestream, not counting 1000 churches that let us know they were gathering to watch it and pray with us. We know that many more home groups and churches did so but didn’t register. The number also doesn’t include viewers on Flashpoint and other networks. All 50 states and several countries joined us. By the time individuals watch it later and pray with us, I am confident that more than a million believers around the world will have agreed in prayer regarding the war, revival in Iran, and the Middle East. Reports like the following are being received: “Dutch, my prayer team watched and prayed with you all last night. It was magnificent. Please do it more often, not just for healing, but for legislation by the body [of Christ] in weighty matters. God bless you.” Those of us who led the meeting have already been saying the same. I believe we stepped into a new strategy of Holy Spirit to release His will on earth. Also, we don’t feel that prayer for those needing healing was negatively impacted at all. We have already been hearing reports of healings occurring. All in all, it was a very successful night. Before the prayers began, I reminded those present and watching that our assignment was to impact the unseen spiritual realm. Our expectations were not that things in the natural realm would instantly change, that we would wake up the next morning and the conflict be over. Our assignment was to pray for spiritual breakthrough that would help pave the way for ending the war and producing revival. It was to release the authority of Christ to break the hold of the prince of Persia and other principalities over the region. We believe this was successful, though our prayers will obviously need to continue. Thank you for joining us. The body of Christ is growing up. A remnant of the church is stepping into our role of representing King Jesus on earth. History will be written by this awakened legislating assembly and army. And I know the Lord is pleased. Pray with me: Father, thank You for allowing us the incredible privilege of partnering with You. You are omnipotent, all-powerful, and could assert Your will on earth without our involvement. But You wanted family, and wanted to work with and through them. We are co-laborers with You by Your sovereign choice. And we are humbled and amazed by this. Thank You for using us Friday night. We know that the battles for the emerging great awakening are not over. But we also know Friday night was a Jericho, a breakthrough of such monumental proportions that it affects the rest of the war. We also know that You will continue to lead us in our prayers and assignments, and we will obey. We conclude our prayer with the great closing benediction of Hebrews 13:20-21: “Now may the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, that is, Jesus our Lord, equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.“ Our decree: He who has begun a good work in us will perfect it until the day of the Lord, Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6). Click on the link below to watch the full video.

Let’s Do This A few days ago, Holy Spirit gave my friend, Steven Springer, a dream. The dream spoke of the season of intensified intercession for Iran and the Middle East, in which many have been engaged. It makes clear that our prayers and spiritual warfare are not against flesh and blood; God loves the people of Iran and the people of the Middle East. His desire is for salvation, freedom, awakening, and the revelation of Yeshua, the one true living God. Here are a few details: In the dream, Steven saw a group of people warring and contending spiritually, focusing primarily on Iran, the Middle East, and the spiritual powers at work there. It seemed at this point like a spiritual standoff was taking place, pushback after pushback, resistance against resistance. Their battle was intense in the heavenly realm. Then another contingent of the Ekklesia entered the dream dressed as spiritual warriors. Steven knew they represented both the grace and authority of God. Suddenly, one of the leaders shouted: “LET’S DO THIS! THIS IS OUR TIME! THIS IS OUR HOUR!” Immediately, some of the group took an Appeal to Heaven flag that was fastened to a pole, lifted it, and forcefully struck the ground. The flag obviously represents prayer, appealing to heaven, as does “striking” the ground. Striking is actually one of the literal meanings of the Old and New Testament words for intercession. We were there to pray. The moment the pole struck the earth, a tremendous bolt of lightning shot upward into the heavens, even reaching the throne room of God. This pictures heaven and earth agreeing, working together. Decrees went forth, and as they did, Steven saw the Lord manifest His authority and execute righteousness. From heaven came lightning, fire, and a massive hammer, like a great war hammer. As it moved through the heavenly realms, a bolt of lightning struck the forces of darkness across the Middle East, removing them from their places of rule. There was a tremendous upheaval throughout Iran, rising above the chaos and releasing the sound of freedom and awakening. People who had been held under spiritual deception and an evil tyranny began to awaken and cry out: “Truly, the One True and Living God, Yeshua, has saved us and brought us freedom!” Fire fell from heaven and consumed everything that had been hindering the presence of God. Then, the hammer of the Lord struck the ground, releasing a tremendous earthquake. Lightning flashed across the heavens, followed by deafening claps of thunder throughout the skies of the Middle East, symbolizing God’s power, and silenced the voices of evil. Every competing sound was silenced before the voice and majesty of the Lord. What happened in Iran began creating tremors throughout the broader Middle East region, as deception was exposed and truth was unveiled concerning the identity, power, love, and majesty of the One True God. People began to encounter the power and authority of God and His Word. The nations of earth seemed to stand still, people somehow knowing that something had shifted in the realm of the spirit. Suddenly, Steven saw an enormous banner stretched across the nations of the earth. Written upon it were the words: “YESHUA IS GOD, AND HE IS LOVE!” The banner waved over the entire planet. Then the scene shifted back to the gathering of the Ekklesia. We were still standing together holding the Appeal to Heaven flag. The voice of the Lord thundered: “Your appeal and your decrees have done this. Well done!” Then God announced: “I AM READY TO PERFORM MY WORD!” Steven concluded his recounting of the dream by saying: “Demons will tremble. Principalities will be shaken. Spiritual giants will fall. Strongholds of deception will be broken. And a great harvest will come forth, marked by LOVE, GRACE, TRUTH, and POWER. “My takeaway from the dream was unmistakable: YESHUA IS GOD, AND HE IS LOVE!” Dream # 2 Also, within the last few days, Gina Gholston had a dream which relates to tonight. She actually had the first portion of the dream four nights in a row, then was given the final scene in the last occurrence. August 11, 2026, Gina dreamed that there were many people on the deck of an aircraft carrier. She recognized some at the front of the ship as leaders of prayer ministries. The people on board were all in a single line down the right side. She instinctively knew they were looking eastward and that the ship was in the waters of the Strait of Hormuz. Obviously, it was facing toward Iran. It was early morning, before daybreak. The wind was blowing strongly, and she could hear the sound of the wind, which obviously refers to Holy Spirit. Then a loud voice was heard, saying, “You have been carried here by the Holy Spirit of Yahweh. The enemy has not detected you and will not interfere with your mission.” Then the voice said, “Ready, aim, FIRE!” Each person was holding a bow and arrow at their side. The arrows were nocked on the bowstring, pointed downward. Each person had their hands positioned on their bow and arrow, ready to shoot. When the voice said, “Ready, aim, FIRE!” each one simultaneously lifted their bow and shot their arrow into the sky. The arrows went high like rockets, filling the entire atmosphere! These arrows obviously represent the prayers and decrees of the church. She then noticed an enormous, flat-screen television on the ship. On the screen, we could see the arrows flying through the air, penetrating this dark dome-like structure. When they hit, the structure began to completely collapse. In a matter of minutes, the whole sky lit up, as if it were suddenly the middle of the day. These arrows obviously represent the prayers and decrees of the church, piercing the darkness and releasing God’s light. As the TV continued to show the breaking of that structure, a major news network reporter came on the screen announcing, “The strike has been successful! The dome of oppression has been broken, and a great light has shined on the people of this region! There is great rejoicing! It’s like the people can see again. It’s like they have come alive! All I can say is, ‘What a difference a day makes!’” The people on the boat began rejoicing, and then they were gone from the carrier. This dream is an obvious confirmation that God has planned this night of prayer (and the ensuing intercession that will continue). He is encouraging us that our prayers are powerful and will strike the mark, breaking strongholds of darkness and releasing His light. As I have stated previously, those of us leading this gathering are not approaching it glibly or lightheartedly. Nor are we doing so with arrogance and confidence in our own abilities. We are posturing ourselves humbly before the King of Kings, representing Him, and operating in His authority alone. Our hearts are filled with love for the people of Iran and the Middle East, and we believe God is about to embrace them in a marvelous way. Please join us if you can. Our prayer today is a prayer and decree Steven sent along with his dream. Prayer and Decree: We declare that YESHUA IS GOD! He is King of kings and Lord of lords! We declare that every dark kingdom must bow before the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ, and that deception, bondage, intimidation, and spiritual darkness are broken. The fire of God’s Word is being released, and the hammer of the Lord is breaking spiritual fortresses into pieces. We declare freedom over Iran and throughout the Middle East. We decree that the glory of the Lord shall be revealed throughout Iran, Persia, Israel, and the nations of the Middle East! Father, let the light of Yeshua pierce every darkness. Let freedom and salvation break forth. Let dreams, visions, signs, wonders, miracles, and supernatural encounters reveal Yeshua as Lord. We declare: YESHUA IS GOD, AND HE IS LOVE! Let the fire of Your presence fall, and let the Sword of the Spirit cut through generations of deception. Dark kingdoms will fall, captives will be set free, and a great harvest will arise throughout the Middle East. From Iran to the nations, let the sound of salvation arise: YESHUA IS LORD! And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together! Join us tonight in Middletown, Ohio at 7:00 PM ET. Unleashing the Sword There are several words for “time” in the New Testament. Chronos means time in general, the ongoing process of time. It can even be a unit or season of time.(1) We get our English word chronological, meaning arranging things in the proper order of time, from chronos. The word chronicle also comes from this word, which is recording what occurred over a process of time. For a farmer, the entire season of preparing, sowing, and reaping is a chronos season. But during that season, there will be a critical, opportune time for harvesting. The window of opportunity. That is a kairos time. Kairos means strategic, significant, opportune, or right time.(2) Wuest, in his great Expanded Translation of the New Testament, even uses the word “epochal” to translate it (Acts 19:23). Whereas chronos is the general time something is done, kairos is the strategic time it should or must be done. “Good timing” is kairos. “Well-timed” is kairos. In the parable of the sower (Luke 8:1-13), Jesus compares His words to seeds. He says satan comes to try and steal God’s words/seeds from our hearts before they can grow and mature, bringing forth harvest. Verse 13 tells us some people “hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.” “Time” in this verse is kairos. What Jesus was saying is that satan’s temptations are often well-timed, not just haphazardly presented. His fiery darts can be well-timed, coming at “times” of vulnerability. One of Thayer’s [Concordance] definitions of kairos is “the time when things are brought to crisis.” At satan’s temptation of Jesus, after failing three times, Luke 4:13 tells us, “And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.” “Season” is kairos, not chronos. The New American Standard translation rightly words it “He left Him until an opportune time.” Satan’s thinking was that he would back off, watch, and wait for the right time. Another important passage that uses the word kairos is Ephesians 6:18: “Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.” The word “always” is kairos. The verse is not telling us to pray all the time, but at all kairos, strategically timed attacks of the enemy. The context of this verse is spiritual warfare. Verse 12 describes our enemy and his spiritual forces; verses 13-17 describe our spiritual armor. Then verse 18 tells us to be watchful and alert for one another; when we see or discern that a kairos attack of spiritual warfare is taking place against someone, pray for them! In Luke 22:31-32, Jesus had discerned that there would be a well-timed, kairos temptation of Peter. But He stated that He had prayed for him that his faith would not fail, that he would survive this test. And Peter did make it through the ordeal because of Jesus’ intercession. That is Ephesians 6:18 in action. Iran and the Middle East have entered a kairos season. Satan sees it as a kairos time to attack and thwart God’s agenda; God sees it as a kairos time of breakthrough and harvest. Satan wants to create further chaos, destruction, and terrorism in the region, and expand radical Islam. But God is saying He has created a time when the powers of darkness in the region can be overthrown, and His Kingdom of light break through for millions. The physical war in Iran is the fruit of the spiritual war. While the physical war must and will be won, this will not determine who wins the spiritual war. That must be determined by the church as we hear what God is saying, pray, and wage war spiritually. The spoils will be millions of people freed and born again. How do we fight this kairos battle? The above-mentioned passage on spiritual warfare, Ephesians 6, and Christ’s temptation in Luke 4, both show us how. Ephesians 6:17 tells us to use the “sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” “Word” is the Greek rhema, meaning “spoken words.”(3) Declaring the Word of God against the works and powers of darkness is the single greatest weapon we have. The literal meaning of the word “confession” in Scripture is actually “saying the same thing.”(4) Thinking and meditating on God’s Word is important. It allows the seeds of truth to grow within us and increases our faith. But it isn’t a sword until we say it! In satan’s temptation of Jesus in Luke 4, Christ didn’t argue with the devil, and He didn’t shout insults at him. Three different times He simply said, “It is written!” Then He quoted a verse of Scripture. There is no more powerful weapon against satan than the Word of God. Tomorrow night at the prayer gathering in Middletown, Ohio, we will unleash the sword, declaring what God says in His Word about Christ’s victory over the powers of darkness. We will wield the sword of the Spirit. We will decree what Holy Spirit has been declaring to us prophetically regarding Iran, the Middle East, and the powers of darkness that have controlled the region for centuries. We don’t need to scream at demons, and we won’t. We will petition the Lord Himself and declare His Word…and the sword will do its work. Pray with me: Father, Your words are alive and powerful, sharper than any earthly two-edged sword. They form a spiritual sword that is devastating to Your enemies (Revelation 1:16; 2:12; and 19:15, 21). With them You will one day smite nations! The powers of darkness tremble at Your words. And almost shockingly, You have told us we are authorized to release them. With them we bind and loose, forbid and allow, open and close, bless and curse, release Your Kingdom authority and declare Your will. Guide us as we do so tomorrow night. Fill our mouths with Your words. Release through us the authority of King Jesus. Make “on earth as it is in heaven” a reality. Cause our words to be so heaven-echoing that they release angels and seraphim into the Middle East. May Michael and Gabriel once again deal with the Prince of Persia. Rend the heavens and come down! (Isaiah 64:1) “Break the bow of Elam” (Iran), “set Your throne” there (Jeremiah 49:35, 38), and liberate the people. Send revival! These things we pray in Jesus’ name. Amen. Our decree: We declare that “The voice of the Lord is powerful, The voice of the Lord is majestic…The Lord sat as King at the flood; yes, the Lord sits as King forever.” (Psalm 29:4, 10) Join us Friday night [August 14] at 7PM ET. From Middletown to the Middle East There is much evil in the world. That will not end until Jesus personally deals with it fully. Dictators and their regimes kill and torture people, demonized individuals kill and maim others, and power-hungry people oppress others for personal gain. Just this week, Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey signed a law allowing babies to be killed in the womb up until full term.(1) In a heinous act of moral depravity, the entourage of 20 or so around her clapped gleefully along with hell as she signed it. They should all be made to watch several fully grown babies be butchered while writhing in pain. Maybe they would find some heart. We will be joining together this upcoming Friday night, praying against evil in Iran. I appreciate the President’s hesitancy to unleash a full-scale war against Iran, not wanting to kill innocent people. The reality is that the wicked Islamist regime holds millions of Iranians hostage, using them as leverage while they kill “infidels” and spread their oppression. They know America does not want to destroy innocent people, so they hide among them, using them as shields, just as they’ve done in Gaza, Lebanon, and elsewhere. Those overseeing these actions epitomize evil. They’re the Hitlers of our day. Trump took action to keep Iran from finishing their nuclear program, which would have enabled them to kill millions with the push of a button and spread their wicked ideology. With nuclear weapons, they could hold not only their own people hostage, but much of the world. This could not be allowed, so he took action. Now they hold the world hostage, to a degree, in the Strait of Hormuz. Though their military is crushed and their economy in shambles, they don’t care as much about this as they do their evil agenda. And like dictators everywhere, they certainly don’t care about the suffering of their people, as long as they themselves have plenty to eat. But again, I respect President Trump’s desire not to see millions of innocent Iranians killed. There seems to be no good natural solution, which is why we must pray. The conflict is spiritual at its core. The regime in Iran doesn’t even deny this. Their desire is to spread their ideology, whatever it takes. And, of course, they are led by the “principality of Persia” (Iran), mentioned in Daniel 10. In spite of the evil, be encouraged that our all-wise God is always ahead of satan and his plans. He uses even the evil of the wicked to bring about good. I have been told by very credible sources that the underground church in Iran is exploding. At the time this wicked regime took the nation over in 1979, there were 75,000 mosques in Iran. It is now down to 25,000; 50,000 of them have closed! There were 500 known believers in all of Iran when this takeover occurred in 1979; now there are several million. Most Iranians are completely disillusioned with Islam and are seeking answers elsewhere, especially the young generation, which is the majority of the population. God has already begun the great harvest there. I believe, as do many spiritual leaders, that the revival in Iran will multiply exponentially, and then it will become a base from which the gospel goes to the entire Middle East. I believe this will be the beginning of the great billion-soul harvest in the Middle East and around the world. This is why we are praying this Friday night. Yes, it is to ask God for wisdom for the President, to help him deal with the overall conflict. But even more importantly, it is to see the back of the strongholds of darkness in that region broken. We know that God can do what armies cannot. And He works through prayer. The Ekklesia is rising to her calling, authority, and partnership with the Lord. As my spiritual father Jim Hodges said, “The Ekklesia is going from Middletown to the Middle East this Friday night.” My posts for the remainder of this week will be a little shorter than normal, as I spend much time preparing my heart for this gathering. Tomorrow we will talk about the nature of the prayer that will take place. It will not be a night of shouting at principalities and powers. It will be a night of petitioning the Lord and releasing Spirit-led, biblical decrees over the region. Then on Friday, I will share a couple of encouraging dreams that members of the team have had during the last few days. Pray with me: Father, our hearts break over the suffering that has and continues to take place in Iran and other parts of the world. But our hearts also rejoice in what You are doing. You are ushering millions of people into Your family, transferring them from the kingdom of darkness to Your Kingdom of light. This will not be stopped; it will increase and multiply. The victory of Calvary will be felt around the world, and Your Kingdom will advance. Give us wisdom and understanding as we plan for this Friday night. Lead us in our prayers and decrees. Mobilize many to be a part of it live, and many more later as they watch the recording. We are asking You for millions of believers around the world to agree in prayer regarding Your plans for the people of Iran and this great worldwide harvest. Change the world that night. Please continue to give our President and his advisors great wisdom. Do not let them be late or early in any decisions they make. Do not let them be deceived by lying negotiators, or bow to inappropriate pressure from other leaders. Protect them, their families, and staff. We pray that You’ll protect all who come and go from this gathering Friday night. All of this we ask in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen. Our decree: We decree that the advance of the gospel throughout the world will not be stopped. Join us Friday night [August 14] at 7PM ET. You can find more information HERE. God’s Ordained Partnership I am spending much time this week praying, fasting, and preparing for Friday night’s upcoming prayer gathering. As I do so, I’m looking back at some of what the Holy Spirit has spoken to me about it, as well as what I’m currently hearing. Today, I want to reiterate how important and powerful it is when the church prays for governments and nations. The fruit of wrongly separating the different roles of government and the church has created many problems in America. As well as resulting in unrighteous laws and moral decay, including the killing of babies in the womb and mutilating children’s bodies, it has also subconsciously created a lack of prayer for our government leaders. For example, it is unlikely that even one out of 1000 professing Christians prays consistently for our President and his team as they navigate the situation in the Middle East. The typical American feels that the church’s only role in government is electing leaders; it is then their responsibility alone to manage the economy, legislation, wars, and other civil matters. However, 1 Timothy 2:2 tells us just how wrong this is: if we want to live tranquil and peaceful lives, as mentioned in the verses, it will require us to pray faithfully for governmental leaders. Obviously, then, if we DON’T pray for them, this will NOT happen. Good intentions and human wisdom, even by godly individuals, are not adequate when it comes to leading a nation. This is why Solomon voiced his appropriate concern to God, “Who is able to judge Your great people?” (1 Kings 3:9). This is also why He prefaced this by asking God for wisdom and understanding when beginning his kingly rule. Solomon’s father, the great King David, a man after God’s heart (Acts 13:22), also needed spiritual help in order to govern effectively. He sought direction from prophets and priests, and specifically relied on the tribe of Issachar’s discernment during times of war (1 Chronicles 12:1, 32, 38). David knew Israel’s wars were spiritual as well as physical, and that he needed supernatural assistance. Leaders in government need the help of the church, and the church needs a wise, godly government. Prayer generates both. Failing to pray faithfully for our government is one of the greatest sins of the American church. Israel’s biblical history is filled with accounts of her kings, generals, priests, and prophets working together. Whether it be Moses (government leader), Joshua (general), and Aaron (high priest); or David (king), Samuel (prophet), Nathan (prophet), Abiathar and Zadok (high priests); or Uzziah (king) and Isaiah (prophet), civil and spiritual leaders worked together in Israel and they prospered as they did so. Not understanding this and implementing it in our nation has caused immeasurable harm. The books of Ezra, Haggai, and Zechariah all speak of the time in Israel’s history when the Temple was being rebuilt. Tremendous opposition was occurring, eliciting poor responses by Israel, which worked together to cause a 16-year delay. What finally ended the standstill was a God-ordained partnership between civil and spiritual leaders, including two prophets. It is an example of the fruit produced when civic and spiritual leadership work together, especially during a time of reformation. The key figures used by the Lord to cause the successful rebuilding were Zerubbabel, the governor of Judah; Joshua, the high priest [obviously, not the same leader of Israel during the conquering of the promised land]; Haggai and Zechariah, who were prophets. Rather than competing, they all worked in harmony, fulfilling their God-given roles. “Then rose up Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and began to build the house of God which is at Jerusalem: and with them were the prophets of God helping them.” (Ezra 5:2) “And the elders of the Jews builded, and they prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo. And they builded, and finished it, according to the commandment of the God of Israel, and according to the commandment of Cyrus, and Darius, and Artaxerxes king of Persia.” (Ezra 6:14) Zerubbabel and Joshua could not have rebuilt the Temple without the prophets, the words from the Lord. And the prophets certainly could not have rebuilt it without the civil leaders. All were needed. Summary Governmental authority without moral foundations and clarity can lead to deception, corruption, and failure; yet spiritual actions without the peace and order generated by righteous governmental authority also are greatly hindered. Both are critical. Lasting cultural transformation occurs, and God’s blessings are released, when those who lead in the public square and the spiritual arena work side by side in mutual honor and respect. Pray with me: Father, we acknowledge the role You have given the church in influencing earth’s affairs, as well as the role of righteous government. We also acknowledge the partnership You intended between the two. As they work together, the synergy produces order and justice on the earth, allowing for peace and security. When You taught us to pray in Matthew 6, You told us to ask for deliverance from “the evil one.” We do so, asking for deliverance from satan and his actions throughout Iran. Deliver the people of the Middle East from the principalities and powers operating there; break their diabolical hold. Remove evil leaders. Cause them to make mistakes in their planning. Expose their hiding places, dry up their finances, and create great confusion and division among them. End their reign of terror. Give our government leaders, especially President Trump, great wisdom as they make decisions. Give our military supernatural help and brilliant strategies. Protect our troops, our military bases, the innocent people of Iran, and the nations surrounding them. Protect Israel from every plan to harm them. We declare the release of Your Kingdom authority in that region and in this war, in the name of Jesus. Amen. Our decree: God’s power will be released in the Middle East as the church fulfills her role in intercession, releasing her Kingdom authority there. Join us Friday night [August 14] at 7PM ET. Elijah and the Prophets of Baal 1 Kings 17–18 are two very significant chapters in Scripture. They speak of spiritual alignment, the results of spiritual compromise, the path to covenant restoration, and important insights regarding prayer. In these chapters, Israel was experiencing a severe drought due to breaking covenant with God and worshipping Baal. However, the drought was not only a judgment for breaking their covenant with Yahweh, but also intended to expose the false god of Baal. Under King Ahab and Queen Jezebel, Israel had abandoned God’s laws and established the national worship of this false god. Their betrayal of the Lord was extreme. God had explicitly warned them that if they turned to other gods, “The Lord’s anger will burn against you, and he will shut up the heavens so that it will not rain” (Deuteronomy 11:16-17). They were now experiencing this reaping. Baal was a Canaanite god worshipped as the god of storms, rain, fertility, and agriculture. By withholding rain - at the decree of Elijah - God was directly challenging Baal’s reality and power: “And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word” (I Kings 17:1). The ensuing drought proved that Baal had no power over nature, as was claimed; Yahweh was the true and living God. After three years and by the time the events of chapter 18 rolled around, Israel was nearing repentance. They had been clearly shown that the physical drought was a symptom of their spiritual drought. At this point, Elijah stood in front of them and said, “‘How much longer will you waver, hobbling between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow him! But if Baal is God, then follow him!’” (verse 21 NLT). The needed rain could not return until they repented, acknowledged God, and returned to Him. Yet these Israelites were still not totally convinced; the last part of verse 21 says, “But the people were completely silent.” Why Mount Carmel So Elijah staged his famous public showdown on Baal’s home turf, Mt Carmel: two altars, no fire, and prayer to each perceived deity. The god who answered by fire would be proven as the true and living God. Why this mountain? At the time, Mount Carmel was considered a sacred “high place” dedicated to Baal worship! By choosing Carmel, Elijah was giving the false prophets every advantage. If Baal could manifest power anywhere, surely it would be on “his own” holy mountain. Also, the ridge of Mount Carmel stands roughly 1700 feet above sea level and looks directly over the vast Jezreel Valley, the homeland of Queen Jezebel! Talk about a word picture! The ridge formed a large natural amphitheater, providing maximum visibility for the large crowd of Israelites King Ahab had summoned. The entire crowd could see the altars clearly, leaving no room for trickery or excuses when the true God answered by fire. And finally, on Mount Carmel was a second altar originally dedicated to Yahweh, which had been torn down and abandoned during Ahab’s and Jezebel’s reign. By choosing this site, Elijah intended to rebuild the broken altar of the Lord, using 12 stones to represent the 12 tribes of Israel. The symbolism and meanings are unmistakable. Baal’s 450 prophets failed, of course, despite self-mutilation and hours of impassioned pleas and rituals. It was Elijah’s turn. He first rebuilt the broken-down altar to the Lord (verse 31) - there’s a sermon! Then he prepared the sacrifice. But before praying, he decided to leave no doubt as to God’s power, and had individuals pour water on his offering - three times! (Verses 32-35) Then he prayed: “And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, ‘LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word. Hear me, O LORD, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the LORD God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again,’” (1 Kings 18:36-37). God answered by fire from heaven and consumed not only Elijah’s sacrifice, but the wood, stones, dust, and water! (Verse 38) The incredible miracle caused the crowd of Israelites to fall on their faces and declare, “The Lord, He is God!” (1 Kings 18:39). Well, I guess so! Sending the Rain And once the spiritual idolatry was confronted, repentance occurred, and the false prophets were removed, the barrier withholding rain was gone. However, even though God had promised Elijah, “I will send rain on the earth” (1 Kings 18:1), there was one significant act required from Elijah. He climbed to the very top of Mount Carmel, bowed to the earth, and prayed to the true and living God seven times, sending his servant out after each prayer to look toward the sea. Finally, a cloud appeared, and a deluge was released. This part of the story has always amazed me. God’s promise was not a substitute for prayer; it was the foundation for it. Elijah agreed with and stood on God’s stated purpose, then birthed it through prayer. Could there be a greater picture of Yahweh’s plan of partnering with us? We birth on earth through prayer what He determines from heaven. Elijah prayed seven times, demonstrating his persistent faith. In Biblical symbolism, the number 7 signifies completeness and covenant. His sevenfold prayer marks the complete end of the judgment period, and the full restoration of covenant and blessing. And just to make sure we understand that it truly was Elijah’s prayers God used to bring rain, in the New Testament, James uses his prayers as an example of effectual prayer: “And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Elijah was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.”(James 5:15-18) James highlights Elijah’s humanness by using a word meaning he was “subject to the same feelings, weaknesses, and frailties” (James 5:17) as all of us (homoiopathes, in Greek).(1) Don’t deify Elijah; He was human like the rest of us. And the true and living God that used him can, and will, use us. Pray with me: Father, You did not give up on the human race after Adam’s fall. Nor did You give up on Israel when she rejected You and turned to false gods. You worked to bring them back into covenant with You, breaking off deception and restoring them. Thank You for Your mercy and kindness. You are now doing the same for America and other nations. Your heart is to redeem, and we believe the greatest wave of redemptive power in history is about to flow throughout the earth. You have planned a great harvest in the Middle East, one that will bring millions into Your family. The powers of darkness there will not stop You. We do not look toward this Friday night of prayer with pride and lightheartedness. We approach it in humility; and yet we also do so in confidence, believing in Your great mercy, love, power, and authority. The principalities and powers behind false gods are not a threat to You. You are answering our prayers for their overthrow, just as You did Elijah’s, and will continue to do so. We are expecting You to show Yourself strong around the world on that night. Break the back of evil forces blinding people to the truth of Jesus Christ and His redeeming work. Cause multitudes to see Your glory. Do so through miracles, dreams and visions, and the power of the gospel. And lead us as we prepare for this night. And, of course, we pray for our government leaders. Please give them wisdom, accuracy, great discernment, and success. Lead them as they make decisions that shape the world. All of this we pray in Jesus’ name. Amen. Our decree: We decree that the God of Elijah is still alive and well, extending His ever-increasing Kingdom throughout the world. Click on the link below to watch the full video. Introduction Today’s post is an encouraging word regarding what God is doing here in America and throughout the world. You may have noticed that He is reemphasizing the powerful river of Holy Spirit (Ezekiel 47; John 7:37-39). My brother Tim and his daughter Rachel have just released a book entitled Glory River. Gene and Terri Bailey of Flashpoint were led by Holy Spirit to make the river of God the theme of their major gathering in Texas on October 22-24, calling it River at the Ranch. Other prophetic leaders are also talking about the river of God. These are all indications that another outpouring of Holy Spirit is on the horizon. Today’s post comes from Tim and Rachel’s new book, Glory River, which is the title of today’s post. Glory River “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.” — Habakkuk 2:14 We are living in the fulfillment of this promise. The river of God is rising, His glory is increasing, and His presence is flowing throughout the earth to accomplish His purposes. Recently, after several weeks of profound encounters with Holy Spirit, I was caught up in a prophetic vision during worship. Though spiritual experiences often stretch beyond natural understanding, they remain firmly rooted in biblical truth. This vision was one of those moments. As I worshiped, I felt water rising around my feet. It was so vivid it seemed tangible. The water climbed from my ankles to my knees, then to my waist, then to my chest, until I was completely immersed in water to swim in. Immediately, Ezekiel 47 came alive before me. The river flowing from God’s throne had reached its fullest measure. I knew Holy Spirit was revealing that His river is increasing in depth, power, and influence in this hour. Suddenly, I was lifted above the scene. Below me, I saw the river winding through cities, regions, and Ekklesia hubs across the nations. Hovering over each gathering of believers stood an angel holding a golden trumpet. Though no musical sound was heard, a decree filled the atmosphere: “Everything lives where the river flows.” As the vision expanded, I noticed bridges crossing the river. Each carried a familiar roadside sign, but instead of naming a natural river, every sign read: Glory River. The message was unmistakable. God’s glory is flowing through His Church and out into the nations. Then I noticed gift-wrapped packages floating downstream. Some drifted to the shoreline where people eagerly reached out with long poles and drew them in. I asked Holy Spirit what they contained. He answered, “In the boxes are miracles." People opened the packages to discover healings, breakthroughs, and supernatural provision. Others carried their boxes away, seemingly taking miracles to family members and loved ones. Next came a massive barge loaded with enormous crates. Waiting on the shore stood crowds clothed in black garments. Holy Spirit said, “These are people who have experienced great trauma, and a spirit of heaviness is upon them. They are dressed in grave clothes of grief and sorrow. But new garments are coming down the river in the crates, and they’re trading their grave clothes of sorrow for garments of joy, praise, and festive liberation.” The river wasn’t simply bringing miracles. It was restoring hearts. Then I watched countless old-fashioned log rafts floating downstream. They carried broken, weary, and lost people toward a great harbor where thousands waited to welcome them. Again I asked what I was seeing. Holy Spirit replied, “The old story still rescues,” and I knew that was a reference to the gospel of Christ. The old rugged Cross was symbolized by these old wooden log rafts. Then He said to me, “Their loved ones are gathering to welcome them home. The Ekklesias are ports of recovery and restoration.” Glory River was accelerating in flows and depths to bring the lost and the prodigals home. Families and loved ones were gathered at the riverbanks, reuniting in joy, as they returned. Ekklesia hubs appeared as ports of redemption and recovery, places where the lost found refuge and the broken found restoration. The scale of this was massive and global. I also saw areas along Glory River where people were coming to simply enjoy themselves. Laughter filled the air as songs and dancing broke out. Families and friends were having picnics and parties along the river, and the whole scene radiated life, joy, and freedom. Then another remarkable scene unfolded. Hundreds of wicker baskets carrying infants floated down Glory River into the Ekklesias. I immediately remembered Moses. Hidden in a basket upon the Nile, what appeared vulnerable was actually being carried by God’s sovereign hand toward divine destiny. Holy Spirit said, “These are My leaders—evangelists, pastors, teachers, prophets, and apostles whom I am raising for the great reformation.” I knew these baskets represented a new generation being supernaturally prepared. The current of God's Spirit is accelerating their development. Reformers are already on the way. Finally, the river carried me to what I knew was the Dead Sea Reclamation Region. The scenery along it was spectacular, with some of the most beautiful vistas I have ever seen. It didn’t look dead and barren; it was alive, lush, and beautiful. The river’s flow at this point was extremely gentle. This reminded me of the description in Psalm 23: “He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul.” Across the river stretched a large banner that read: “Post-Traumatic Stress: Gentle Flows.” People of every age approached the shoreline carrying deep emotional wounds. Some had survived warfare, devastating loss, broken relationships, betrayal, or crushing disappointments. Others simply carried years of hidden pain. One by one, they climbed into small rafts and quietly floated into the Father's presence. There was no striving. As they rested in His presence, His love surrounded them. Heavy burdens lifted. Wounded hearts were restored. Troubled minds became clear. Joy replaced despair, and peace quieted every storm within. Again I asked Holy Spirit what I was witnessing. He answered, “These are those who have been in spiritual battles and in life battles. They are wounded, hurting, and their hearts are heavy laden. Their emotions aren’t functioning properly, and they’ve come to the Glory River on these rafts to experience the one-on-one presence of Father God. Here, His presence overwhelms despair. Here, Father’s love heals the wounds.” I watched as person after person emerged transformed, not because someone preached to them, but because they encountered the Father's love. His presence restored their souls. Father is inviting His sons and daughters into His presence. You can go as deep into Glory River as you desire. There is always more. And if all you can do today is rest, then rest. His presence heals what has been broken. His presence restores what has been lost. His presence breaks the power of trauma and fills weary hearts with life again. I have often pictured myself climbing into one of those small rafts, just the Father and me, floating together in His presence. Every time I have done so, He has met me there. His love has changed me, strengthened me, and restored me. The invitation is still open. Step into the river. Receive what He is carrying. Ride the Glory River with Him. Pray with me: Father, Your Glory River is rising in this hour. We believe You have brought us to a time of acceleration and increasing degrees of Your glory. Let Your presence impact regions, cities, and nations. Let Your glory leave its mark on cultures, governments, families, and hearts. Make Your presence visible, tangible, and undeniable in the earth. We ask this especially today for Iran and all of the Middle East. We are confident that a mighty outpouring of Holy Spirit is coming to the entire Muslim world. While we love people of all faiths, Father, just as You do, we also believe Your Word that tells us Jesus is the only way to salvation (John 14:6; Acts 4:12). We ask for revelation and understanding of this truth to all the Muslim world, with a special emphasis at this time on Iran. You have shown us that Your River is flowing in this nation, but will greatly increase. We ask for the complete overthrow of the Prince of Persia and that Iran become a hub of revival to the entire Middle East. Use the gathering in Ohio on August 14th to break this loose, in Jesus’ name. Amen! Our decree: We decree that heaven’s Glory River is rising and filling homes, cities, and regions. The earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea! Today’s post was taken from Tim and Rachel’s book Glory River. Two Dreams I was reminded of two significant dreams shortly before Holy Spirit led us to devote the night of August 14 to prayer regarding Iran, the Middle East, and the coming great harvest. (We will still pray for those needing healing after the prayer time.) Holy Spirit reminded me directly of the first one, which I wrote about in the July 24 post. The person who received the second dream contacted me shortly thereafter, saying he felt the Holy Spirit had prompted him to remind me of it. In both dreams, the Ekklesia, God’s ruling body on earth, was told we had been prepared for a higher level of representing Him (my wording). Both dreams used the same phrase in doing so. In the first dream, Rees Howells, whose prayer meetings helped save the world in WWII, wrapped a mantle around me (I represented the praying church) and said, “This is the coat I wore during World War II, and must be worn by the Ekklesia in order to see the Kingdom harvest at hand. The training is finished; it’s time to go to war...and you will see the turning of the war.” In the second dream, a group of leaders and I fought 5 spiritual giants that were trying to destroy America. We faced them one at a time, on a battlefield shaped like the U.S., and defeated them. The first giant we fought represented the evil regime leading Iran (not the general population). At the beginning of this second dream, before the battles occurred, we had been training in Philadelphia, PA, America’s birthplace. As we were approaching the gym to train again that day, the archangel Gabriel appeared and said to us, “You will not go to the gym today to train. The training for the fight ahead of you is over. Your request for the fight date to be moved up was granted, and you are going straight into a championship fight now.” The training is finished. Twice. In two dreams. By two people. To the Ekklesia. Both in the context of prayer against evil international forces and the powers controlling them. Remarkable. Does this mean we are now fully mature, knowing everything there is to know about prayer and spiritual warfare? Does it mean the church has finally “arrived,” that we are the greatest generation of spiritual warriors and intercessors in history? Of course not. A man from a previous generation had placed his mantle on us! It means we have matured in our understanding to a point that we, our generation, can more adequately represent Christ, enforcing His victory of Calvary. We possess nothing we were not given by God, and much of it came through believers who came before us. HOWEVER, that doesn’t change the fact that the Lord said the training is finished and it’s time to go to war. We must act! Jesus said those who hear His words and do not act on them build houses that can’t withstand life’s storms. The winds shake and move them, the rains erode their foundations, and the floods destroy their houses (Matthew 7:24-27, The Amplified Translation). Only doing what He says enables us to withstand the storms. “So everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods and torrents came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not do them, will be like a foolish (stupid) man who built his house on the sand. And the rain fell, and the floods and torrents came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell—and great and complete was its fall.” Hearing good teaching from God’s Word is critical and wonderful. Knowing His promises is important. But only doing and obeying what we’ve been taught provides us with the strength to withstand life’s storms, much less satan’s onslaught. A growing remnant of the church has determined to believe and do what God has said in His Word. They believe fully in Christ’s eternal victory, the church’s calling - and privilege - of partnering with Him as His representatives, and that His Kingdom on earth isn’t shrinking but expanding. (See Matthew 16:18-19; 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-20; Isaiah 9:6-7; Daniel 7:13-14.) They believe the gates of hell - its plans, deliberations, and authority - will NOT prevail against us, that we can always triumph in Christ. They realize the “greater One” in us is not there just to bless us and get us to heaven, but to assist us in seeing God’s Kingdom manifest and His will be accomplished on earth. (See Matthew 16:18-19; 2 Corinthians 2:14; 1 John 4:4; Matthew 6:10.) And they are ready to do their part to turn the tide in Iran and the Middle East so “the Lamb who was slain can receive the reward of His suffering”(1) in that part of the world. Some have wondered, what if an agreement is reached with Iran and the military conflict ends before August 14? Firstly, even if this occurs, the current regime cannot be trusted. And secondly, our assignment is much bigger than just this conflict. The spiritual stronghold behind this regime, the “prince of Persia,” must be defeated through prayer, just as occurred in Daniel 10. Our prayer is NOT just so America and Israel can experience peace and safety, though this is important. This spiritual stronghold must be dealt with to pave the way for the coming tidal wave of harvest. Please be in agreement with us as we approach the gathering on the 14th, and join us in person or online that night. Many plan to do so, including entire congregations and people from other nations. (If you plan to do so as a congregation, consider registering with us so we can point people in your area to you.) All details can be found at OasisWired.org. Pray with me: Father, we posture ourselves before You in the spirit of humility, embracing a mantle pioneered and worn by others before us. Just as Rees and many others in Your great family have done in the past, we wrap ourselves in the mantle of governmental intercession. And as Jesus exhorted us, we choose to act on Your words. We have been invited into Your family, and commissioned as Your Ekklesia. And we have said, “Yes!” As we approach August 14, we ask for wisdom and revelation to abound to those leading it and those joining us. Some will pray into microphones that night, but all will pray and agree. Place Your thoughts in them and give them insights and Scriptures in advance. And as we gather, unleash heaven’s thunder against Your enemies. Rend the heavens over Iran and the Middle East, piercing darkness and lifting national veils of deception. Let the full force of Your Kingdom authority and the power of Holy Spirit invade the region. May the world change on that night. Give our natural leaders wisdom and discernment as they deal with Iran. Block every effort of demonic powers to deceive and mislead them, and every effort of natural evil leaders to maintain their hold. We declare to every mountain of adversity there, “be removed and cast into the sea, in Jesus’ name” (Mark 11:23). All of this we pray in His name. Amen. Our decree: We decree that Holy Spirit has trained the Ekklesia, and we are ready for the battles ahead. General Patton and His Christmas Prayer On July 22, I released a post pointing out how important it is for civil government and the church to work together. Biblical and historical precedents for this abound. Today, we’ll look at how these two realms worked together to save the world during WWII. Though there were many examples of this, from Roosevelt’s calls to prayer in America, Churchill’s in Britain, and Rees Howells’ students and community intercessors in Wales, I want us to look at the famous Battle of the Bulge. (And I must confess that due to my lack of interest in history during my high school years, AI helped with some of these details.) A Kairos Moment At a critical point in WWII, early December of 1944, General George S. Patton’s Third Army was bogged down along the French-German border. Weeks of torrential rain, persistent fog, and ankle-deep mud had brought offensive operations to a grinding halt. Tanks had churned supply roads into impassable quagmires, infantrymen suffered severely from trench foot, and Allied air superiority - the crucial protection for ground forces - was rendered entirely useless by an impenetrable cloud cover. For a general whose battlefield philosophy relied on speed, mobility, and relentless forward momentum, the weather was not merely an inconvenience; it was saving the German Army from destruction. The Weather Prayer On December 8, 1944, coarse, sometimes foul-mouthed General Patton, nicknamed “Old Blood and Guts,” called his Chief Chaplain, Colonel James H. O’Neill. Patton asked if the Chaplain had a prayer for good weather, stating that if the Army kept praying for the rain to stop, God might listen. When Chaplain O’Neill replied that he knew of no standard prayer specifically written for weather in the military prayer books, Patton, not to be deterred, ordered him to compose one immediately. O’Neill returned to his quarters and drafted a brief, direct petition for clear skies. Patton reviewed the text, expressed his full approval, and ordered 250,000 copies printed on small wallet-sized cards. He commanded that a card be distributed to every soldier in the Third Army, with a Christmas greeting from him on the reverse side. The Battle of the Bulge Before the prayer cards could be fully distributed, however - that wouldn’t occur until December 22 - the situation on the Western Front transformed overnight. Hitler launched a massive surprise winter counteroffensive against the Allies through the densely forested Ardennes region of Belgium. The Germans had deliberately chosen a period of severe, overcast winter weather to execute the attack, knowing that cloud cover and fog would ground the vast Allied air capabilities. Three German armies smashed into overwhelmed U.S. divisions, creating a massive “bulge” in the Allied line. (Thus, the name, Battle of the Bulge.) At the critical road junction of Bastogne, Belgium, elements of the 101st Airborne Division and the 10th Armored Division were quickly surrounded by overwhelming German forces. Help was urgently needed. Supreme Commander General Dwight D. Eisenhower asked Patton how long it would take him to disengage his Third Army from its current position, turn his entire force 90 degrees north, and attack the southern flank of the German bulge. Patton famously replied: “A day after tomorrow, in the morning.” In one of the most brilliant logistical and tactical maneuvers in military history, Patton disengaged thousands of armored vehicles and infantry units, reoriented his lines under blackout conditions, and launched a relentless northward drive toward Bastogne. However, as his army advanced, freezing terrain, dense fog, snowstorms, and poor visibility continued to hamper him. It also kept Allied aircraft grounded, leaving the defenders of Bastogne without aerial resupply or close air support. The situation was critical. It would not be an exaggeration to say the fate of the world hung in the balance. But in the providence of God, the as yet undistributed 250,000 prayer cards had been printed and were delivered to the troops on December 22. They read: “Almighty and most merciful Father, we humbly beseech Thee, of Thy great goodness, to restrain these immoderate rains with which we have had to contend. Grant us fair weather for battle. Graciously hearken to us as soldiers who call upon Thee that, armed with Thy power, we may advance from victory to victory, and crush the oppression and wickedness of our enemies and establish Thy justice among men and nations. Amen.” Did God answer the prayer? Did the weather change? Yes! Immediately and dramatically. That night of December 22, 1944, what military meteorologists called a classic high-pressure cold front moved in, temperatures plummeted, and the heavy cloud cover began to break. On the morning of the 23rd, soldiers across the Ardennes awoke to crisp, crystal-clear blue skies and freezing temperatures that hardened the muddy roads into solid ground. (Chaplain O’Neill was later awarded the Bronze Star medal by Patton for such a successful prayer!) The sudden clearing of the skies shifted the strategic balance of the Battle of the Bulge overnight: Hundreds of C-47 transport planes filled the sky over Bastogne, dropping desperately needed medical supplies, ammunition, food, and anti-tank artillery directly into the defense perimeter of the beleaguered 101st Airborne Division. The U.S. IX Tactical Air Command and the British RAF launched thousands of sorties, delivering the additional troops needed. P-47 Thunderbolts and P-51 Mustangs swarmed the battlefield, hunting down and destroying German armor, fuel trucks, and supply columns exposed on the snow-covered roads. The hard freeze turned miles of deep liquid mud into firm roads, allowing Patton’s heavy Sherman tanks and supply trucks to accelerate their northward drive. Moving north along hardened roads with full air support overhead, Patton’s 4th Armored Division smashed through German lines on December 26, opening a corridor into Bastogne and relieving the town. The combination of Patton’s rapid counterattack, fierce Allied ground defense, and the clearing of the skies shattered Hitler’s last major offensive on the Western Front. Within weeks, German forces were pushed back to their starting lines, having exhausted their remaining armored reserves, aviation fuel, and combat power - setting the stage for the final Allied invasion of Germany in early 1945. History was written, and the world was saved by concerted prayer, determined soldiers, and a general who had the sense to ask for God’s help. We will do this on August 14 [2026] and the days leading up to it, asking God to break the stronghold of evil in Iran and the Middle East, and launch a billion-soul harvest. He will hear and answer. Join us. Pray with me: Father, we acknowledge the role You have given the church in influencing earth’s affairs. We also acknowledge the partnership You intended between civil and spiritual authorities. It is biblical and imperative that we work together, producing synergy and releasing divine order on the earth, allowing for peace and security. When You taught us to pray in Matthew 6, You told us to ask for deliverance from the evil one. Just as leaders and citizens appealed to You many times in WWII, we do so now, asking for deliverance from the evil one and his actions throughout Iran. Deliver the people of the Middle East from the principalities and powers that operate there; break their diabolical hold. Overthrow evil leaders. Cause them to make mistakes in their planning, expose their hiding places, dry up their finances, and create great confusion and division among them. End their reign of terror. Give our military supernatural help and brilliant strategies. Protect our troops, our military bases, the innocent people of Iran, and the nations surrounding them. And as we gather in one accord to appeal to You and release Your Kingdom authority on August 14, lead us strategically and release great power through our prayers. You have orchestrated this gathering, and we are confident You will work through us. We ask these things in the name of Jesus. Amen. Our decree: We declare that a release of Christ’s Kingdom authority into Iran and the Middle East is occurring as the church prays in His name. Click on the link below to watch the full video.

“Thus Far He Has Helped Us” In 1 Samuel, chapters 4–7, a place named Ebenezer is mentioned three times: 4:1, 5:1, and 7:12. The name means “Stone of Help,” named after the stone monument Samuel erected in 7:12 (NASB): “Then Samuel took a stone and set it between Mizpah and Shen, and named it Ebenezer, saying, “Thus far the Lord has helped us.” Although the name Ebenezer is used in all three references, we can see from the above verse that the name wasn’t formally given until chapter seven. In chapters 4 and 5, the writer, who is writing all of this after the fact, is simply referring to the place by its future name. (In literature, this is known as a prolepsis, which refers to calling something by what it will eventually be named, though technically that has not yet occurred. You’re welcome.) The context of these chapters is as follows. Because of sin and rebellion spelled out in the first three chapters of this book, Israel is about to experience judgment. By the time we get to 1 Samuel 4:1 (NASB), Israel is about to face the Philistines in battle, where this judgment will begin: “Thus the word of Samuel came to all Israel. Now Israel went out to meet the Philistines in battle and camped beside Ebenezer while the Philistines camped in Aphek.” When the fighting started, Israel was struck down in the first battle (verse 2), so they decided to bring the Ark of the Covenant from Shiloh to the battlefield for the second round (verse 3). They believed the presence of the Ark would guarantee victory. Israel had no actual reverence for the presence of God, and had been demonstrating this through their rebellion. To them, the Ark was nothing more than a “magic box.” Rather than seeking the God of the Ark through heart repentance, they were using it as a good luck charm. But God will not allow Himself to be manipulated or reduced to a lucky charm. Israel was routed, the Ark was stolen, and “Ichabod” was declared over Israel (4:11-22), meaning, “the glory has departed.” In chapters 4 and 5, by referring to this place of defeat by its future name, the irony is unmistakable. Israel was encamped at a place destined to be the "Stone of Help," yet in such a place they experienced a devastating defeat! Scriptural promises or possessing sacred objects mean nothing if one’s heart is far from God. 1 Samuel 5:1 (NASB) then says: “Now the Philistines took the ark of God and brought it from Ebenezer to Ashdod.” Ironically, the name Ashdod means spoiler or ravager.(1) The Philistines carried the Ark to Ashdod and set it in the temple of their idol, Dagon. They assumed their demonic god had conquered Israel’s God and the Ark was his trophy. In a statement of His ability to take care of Himself, God personally knocked Dagon over several times, “decapitating” him before the Ark (5:3-4). He also struck the Philistines with plagues (5:6-12). The Ark being taken was not a sign of God’s weakness, but of His refusal to be treated as a talisman, and He was certainly not going to be mocked by a false religion. He can walk directly into the “ravagers'” stronghold (Ashdod) and destroy their idols single-handedly. The Philistines decided they wanted nothing more to do with the Ark, and sent it back to Israel, where it ended up in the small town of Kiriath-jearim for 20 years! During this time, Samuel led Israel into repentance and restoration (chapter 7). After this season of true repentance, the Philistines attacked them yet again! And this time the Lord helped Israel!!! 1 Samuel 7:10-11 (NASB) tells us: “Now Samuel was offering up the burnt offering, and the Philistines drew near to battle against Israel. But the Lord thundered with a great thunder on that day against the Philistines and confused them, so that they were routed before Israel. The men of Israel went out of Mizpah and pursued the Philistines, and struck them down as far as below Beth-car.” It sure is nice to pursue one’s enemy as opposed to being pursued! And now we come to the naming of the place “Ebenezer.” “Then Samuel took a stone and set it between Mizpah and Shen, and named it Ebenezer, saying, ‘Thus far the Lord has helped us.’” (verse12). What an incredible memorial! And what a picture it painted! By naming it Ebenezer, the Lord permanently marked a place of former defeat and humiliation, turning it into a monument of divine help and deliverance. God can redeem the exact ground where we once experienced our greatest failures. Repentance paves the way for turning a graveyard of defeat into a place of grace, and spiritual barrenness into revival. This is now taking place in America and other nations. Do not be confused by all of the warfare taking place. MUCH repentance has taken place in our nation, including a formal rededication to God by the highest government and church leaders in our land. I am not saying repentance is no longer needed; I’m saying we don’t have to start over! Of course sin still occurs and must be repented of. But America’s past great sins of abusing native Americans, slavery, abortion, national rebellion against God’s laws, and more, have been repented of millions of times! I know this because it has taken place with millions of believers participating by media, agreeing and participating with the repentance. God always works through a remnant, and a faithful remnant HAS humbled itself, prayed, and repented, just as Israel did in Samuel’s day. And America has come to her Ebenezer! Jesus, the “Rock of our Salvation,” our “Stone of Help,” has said, “America shall be saved!” In your heart and with strong faith, look past the murky media, ravaging dictators, demonized terrorists, leftist Marxists…and stand! Rise above the personal attacks you’re facing and anchor yourself to your unfailing God. Build your Ebenezer–“thus far He has helped us.” He will not fail us now. Pray with me: Father, You warned us that in the last days perilous times would come (2 Timothy 3:1), and that evil would abound (Matthew 24:12). We are certainly experiencing this. BUT where sin abounds, grace abounds more (Romans 5:20), and You said Your Kingdom would never stop increasing (Isaiah 9:7). The government of this Kingdom is on the shoulders of Jesus Christ and is held securely by Him (Isaiah 9:6). As we war spiritually for our families, nations, and the monumental harvest You have planned, it can become wearying. But we are anchored by these truths. And also by the certainty that You defeated the powers of darkness, and that this victory is manifesting more and more. Your family is increasing and will continue to do so. Thanks for letting us participate! We speak grace and peace over one another. We are one body, connected by our roots like the roots of a giant Aspen forest. As such, we can feed and water one another in the spirit. We do so now, speaking blessings to our fellow believers. And we continue to ask for grace and favor in the war with Iran. Strengthen and guide our leaders and troops; give them the correct answers. Foil every plan of the evil leaders in Iran, break the back of wickedness there. Set the stage for the harvests of all harvests. Lead us as we prepare for August 14. Bring those You need there; move on the hearts of many to join online. Give us critical mass in the spirit, and may the impact be greater than anything we have yet experienced. We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen. Our decree: We state our faith that the Rock who has helped us thus far, our Ebenezer, will be our help in our future. Click on the link below to watch the full video.
