Heavenly Decrees Over the USA “On a recent morning as I sat with the Lord, I felt the invitation from His heart to join with Him in what He is decreeing over this nation. I kept hearing the words, ‘Take your place in HEAVENLY DECREE.’ Use your words over this nation wisely. Despite the awful darkness and tragedy that has taken place, lift your eyes higher. There is going to be some great shaking in the United States, but the Church is rising up. The Lord is calling His people to take their place. To arise and shine and to come against this darkness. I felt the heart of God to decree what He is speaking and keep decreeing it until it is SEEN and MANIFESTED in the natural. The heart of God is to bring HIS perfect, heavenly JUSTICE full of love into the United States of America.” (Lana Vawser)1 “Arise, shine; for your light has come, And the glory of the LORD has risen upon you.” (Isaiah 60:1; NASB) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: We all know that the power of death and life are in the tongue, but we sure don’t always act like it. Repent if you have spoken doubt, unbelief or death over the United States. Get a piece of paper out and ask the Lord to give you ten faith-filled decrees that you can make daily over the nation. (Go back and look through the GH15 content and get them from there if you have to!) Open up your Bible to Psalm 61. See yourself joining the Lord and decree His Word! Decree the entire Psalm over yourself and the nation. Find other passages of scripture you can decree each day. A prayer you can pray: Lord, forgive me when what is in my thoughts has come out of my mouth. My words betray my lack of faith in Your mercy and justice. Remind me of Your plan for this nation and shift my words to decrees of life over my nation! Wait a minute…let me get a piece of paper to write down God thoughts to decree. Now, Lord, I stand with You and decree Psalm 61 over myself and the nation! Help me to do this every day until I see revival in America! In Jesus’ Name, amen. Let the Love of God Consume Us “For God so loved the World that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life” (John 3:16) “A new commandment I give you, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, love one another. By this all men will know you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” (John 13:34-35) “But God showed His great love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8) “For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord!” (Romans 8:38-39) “We love because He first loved us.” (1 John 4:19) (All verses ESV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Read the verses above out loud. Meditate on them. Now pray them out loud and let the full power of God’s Word penetrate your heart, perhaps more deeply than ever before. Worship Him for He loves us with a love we can’t comprehend and that we don’t deserve. Ask Him to give you a supernatural grace to love others, especially those you have trouble loving. This is the heart of intercession. Find something you can do today to show someone they are loved – by you and by God. A prayer you can pray: Dear Father God, I am amazed at the way You love me. As I read these verses out loud and meditate on them, give me a fresh revelation of Your love – for me and for every other person, saved and unsaved. I want You to let me feel a little bit of the fire of that Love I do not deserve, but that You are to me anyway. This nation is in desperate need of this revelation, Lord. Our cities and America as a whole also need to see the practical love of Jesus Christ poured out through Believers with this revelation, which can undo hard problems. Unravel racism and false judgement, terror and many other societal wrongs by a tidal wave of Your love hitting us, washing the anger and pain away! In Jesus mighty loving Name, Amen. Today’s decree: The love of God will consume us and a nation will be changed.

Possessing the Gates “From the time of Abraham the Lord has wanted His people to possess the gates. It’s very important; because whoever possesses the gates controls the dynamics of a region. That control can bring in a move of God or it can shut down the heavens depending on who possesses the gates. If the Ekklesia of a city possesses the spiritual gates, they can then usher in revival. “The Lord left Abraham a prophetic promise about The Gates, ‘And your seed shall possess the gate of their enemies’ (Genesis 22:17). ‘That promise extends to us as well. And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to the promise’ (Galatians 3:29). ‘Upon this rock I will build My Church (Ekklesia-governing body); and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it’ (Matthew 16:18).” (Ken Malone)1 Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: “Look where the land was occupied in the beginning. Many of these gates are found where the Native tribes lived and worshiped.” Honor the Native Americans, then ask the Lord to forgive the worship of any false gods. Worship Jesus! “Look where the first settlers from Europe came in and lived.” Look at whether their purpose for settling was led by God or something else, greed, for example. Thank the Lord or identificationally repent. “Also look where there have been previous moves of God, because these are gates also.” Join your prayers with all of those prayed in the past for your area and ask the Lord to do it again! A prayer you can pray: Father, help us to see where the gates in our city and region are, so that the Believers in this area can work together to possess them. Show us where native groups worshiped gods other than You. Show us why the first European settlers established colonies and if they were led by You or by their own greed or other reasons. Show us if there were previous moves of God in our region. Show us, so that we can worship You, thank You, repent to You and believe that You will move in our region for the first time or once again! Covering Cleveland in Prayer “At least 50,000 visitors are expected in Cleveland this week, as well as thousands of journalists and tens of thousands of truckers, bikers, Trump supporters, and competing demonstrators from across a wide political spectrum. The emotions fueling protesters in Cleveland will be running high.  Approximately 500 local law enforcement officers and 2,500 to 2,700 out-of-the-area law enforcement officers will make up the command force.” (BridgeBuilders)1 “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart! And the peace I give isn’t fragile like the peace the world gives. So don’t be troubled or afraid.” (John 14:27; TLB) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Thank the Lord for our electoral process. Though flawed, it is the basis for our governmental freedom. The right to peaceful protest is a part of our First Amendment rights. “Peaceful” is the key word. Pray for peace over the protests in Cleveland this week. Pray for protection of the law enforcement officers there who will be working around the clock to maintain the peace across the city and especially near the convention center. Ask the Lord to send angelic assistance to expose any plans to cause harm, whether from terrorism to racial unrest. Pray that God blankets Cleveland with supernatural A prayer you can pray: Father, I thank You for the electoral process in America. Thank you that individuals and groups have the constitutional right to peacefully protest in this nation. We pray that any protests planned in Cleveland this week will indeed be peaceful. Especially cover the law enforcement officers as they attempt to keep the peace in the city 24 hours a day for the next few days. They will need angelic assistance, Lord. Send your angel armies to cover Cleveland with a blanket of supernatural peace and grace. Thank you, Jesus. Amen. Praying for Cleveland “Beginning today and running through next week, thousands of Believers from Ohio and around the nation will be converging on Cleveland to be a light into the darkness through compassion, prayer, evangelism and outreach. We have all been watching the news and hearing the noise about what is expected to take place this week (due the Republican National Convention being held there). The expectation is that we will see violent protests, anger and rage. But, we believe there is the opportunity to see something else in the middle of it.” (From the Hope Is Here 2016 movement)1 “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.” (Matthew5:9; WEB) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Before we start praying for Cleveland, let’s spend a minute in prayer for the families and friends who lost their loved ones when two policemen and a sheriff’s deputy were killed Sunday by a lone shooter in Baton Rouge. 3 additional officers were wounded. The shooter was shot by police. Pray for peace in Cleveland this week. Tell the enemy he cannot cause fear or chaos in the city. Pray for communication between police and protesters to be peaceful and clear. Pray for revival to break out in Cleveland, as it has in other areas of the nation! Pray that many will come looking for an outlet for their frustrations, but will find Jesus instead! A prayer you can pray: Father, we pray for the families and friends of the officers in Baton Rouge who were killed yesterday. Heal those who were wounded. Please intervene and stop the violence in our nation. We pray for the city of Cleveland today and ask that any protests will be peaceful and that those expressing their constitutional right to protest, visitors to Cleveland for the convention, and law enforcement will all be safe. Move in power through those Believers that will be throughout the city bringing Your compassion and the message of the Kingdom. Move in revival, Lord! Reap a harvest of souls! In Jesus Name, Amen! Hope for the Nation When facing war against the world’s greatest empire at the time, America’s founders said, “When there is no other hope, appeal to heaven.” God has reminded us of their appeal and its success through His sovereign resurrection of the Appeal to Heaven flag. He is now asking the praying Church in America to follow our founders’ example. And, I’m asking you to join us as we gather around this nation and make our appeal. I believe God is calling the praying Church to come together to save a nation and the world. “Yet have regard to the prayer of Your servant and to his supplication, O Lord my God, to listen to the cry and to the prayer which Your servant prays before You today.” (1 Kings 8:28; NASB) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Appealing to heaven should be the first thing on our minds when we face situations that seem impossible for nothing is impossible to God! Say to the Lord, “Can a nation be saved in a day?” Appeal to God on behalf of America today. Thank Him for resurrecting the Appeal to Heaven flag. Meditate on the odds our fore-fathers faced and the faith and hope they needed to even enter the battle, much less win it! Thank the Lord for those brave ones and ask Him to make you equally filled with faith, hoping against hope and standing bravely with Him for this nation’s future. Terrorism in Nice, France France is a friend of the United States. In Romans 12, the Apostle Paul is exhorting us how to live as pleasing to the Lord. Among other things, he instructs us to mourn with those who mourn. France is mourning again. Families are mourning. Friends are mourning. It’s so soon after the attacks in November 2015 when 130 people were killed. The night before last another 84 were killed and many more injured. These things are so hard to understand, but we must pray. “God is our refuge and strength [mighty and impenetrable], a very present and well-proved help in trouble.” (Psalm 46:1; AMP) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Ask the Lord to give you His heart for the family members and friends who lost loved ones. We should mourn with those who mourn, not just watch the news and go about our business. God’s people hear His voice. As we pray, we should be ones that hear strategies for dealing with the most challenging of problems in the earth. Pray that we hear Him and pray that government leaders hear Him, as we pray for these leaders to gain strategies. Pray that the free governments of the earth will fight terrorism as a mortal enemy, so that the people of their nations can dwell in safety. Pray intensely for the salvation for those the enemy has trapped in radical Islam. A prayer you can pray: Dear Lord, we humbly come to You and lift up to You the people of France in their great loss Thursday night. We choose to mourn with those who mourn. Our hearts are heavy with concern for the families and friends who have lost loved ones in what should have been a wonderful day of celebration. Lord, we are boldly asking You for answers to the issue of terrorism in the world today. Give Your children answers as we pray. Give our government leaders wisdom and the grace to carry out the plans that You give, so that terrorism can end in the nations and our friends and families can live life in peace and joy. Save those the enemy has deceived into joining radical Islam. Get them out, Lord! In Jesus’ Name, amen. Today’s decree: Today we will mourn with those who mourn and believe that God will be their very present help in this time of trouble.

A Revived America Recent events nationally and around the world have served as a wake-up call for me this week. A few days ago I met with a renowned expert on international societal trends and the rise and fall of nations. According to he and other experts he met with at Yale and Oxford not long ago, the verdict is in. America will not survive as the leader of the world and World War III is inevitable. As a Spirit-filled Believer, however, my friend qualifies the great prediction with one and only one possible hope—Divine intervention! He is now saying from a secular and statistical perspective what I have been saying for almost 20 years, “There is no hope for America without a third Great Awakening.” And a revived America can bring hope to the world. “Many are saying of me, ‘God will not deliver him.’ But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high.” (Psalms 3:2-3; NIV) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Cry out, people of God! Cry out for the Third Great Awakening! Dark days are here. Cry out for God to visit America, sweeping thousands into the Kingdom, changing lives and changing society. Repent for the way the Church has so often just tried to be nice and fit in with world. We are to be unique—salty and bright! Worship Him, for He can deliver us. Believe He wants to deliver us, for the sake of the destiny of the nation He birthed, and for the sake of the world we can bring hope to. A prayer you can pray: God! I cry out! I cry out! Hear my prayers, Lord, for the saving of America! We must have the Third Great Awakening that You have promised. The world has no hope without Your Divine intervention in the future of this nation! You are the hope that must be seen in the United States, Lord. Dark days are upon us, but we want to fully complete the destiny You established us for! Forgive us for trying to be like the world, instead of showing the world how different we are because of You—bearers of light and hope to the world! Deliver us from this evil, Lord. Today’s decree: The cry of our hearts given back to the One Who put it in us will cause Him to pour out hope for America in the form of a Third Great Awakening, so I will cry out and cry out and cry out!

Nevertheless, there is a meta-narrative going on and it’s God’s storyline of healing and redemption that can turn this nation around. With that I say, stay hopeful. As I mentioned before, most of this week, I’ve been waking up to write my thoughts in regard to tragedies, but one day, I believe we’ll awake to write stories of triumph. And we’re going to realize that we were the pen, the Holy Spirit was the ink, and that God took us by His hand and wrote His storyline through us. Together, let us let Him use our lives to turn a nation.” (Will Ford)1 “The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. There are rumors of possible violent protests tomorrow (Friday) across the nation in many large cities. Do not be afraid. Ask the Lord to rewrite the story and command the enemy to cease and desist! A prayer you can pray: Father, heal this nation! Use the lives of those of us who truly love and serve You, and write the story You have planned. Erase the enemy’s plans from the history books. As I read Ephesians 6:10-17, grant me your spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You and Your ways. Let me see the way You see and know how to pray and what to do. I ask You to heal the racial divide and use me to do it! I ask You to judge the enemy who wants with violence to our nation’s key cities and cause chaos and pain. A New Justice Movement “Related to further healing the race issue, and a new justice movement, God gave me (Will Ford) a dream about the dreamer, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. In the dream, my friend Lou Engle and I were driving in a SUV to the church, but we couldn’t get there without picking up Dr. King. As we pulled up to his house, Dr. King came out with a white duffle bag with black handles. He went to the curb and dumped out everything in the duffle bag. Once it was empty, surprisingly, he threw away the bag as well. Dr. King then walked over to our vehicle, and opened the door to ride with us. This was consistent with anyone who desired involvement with Dr. King’s organization in the sixties. No one could be a part of the movement if they had racial hatred or bitterness in their heart. The Lord was saying to me, ‘Empty yourself of any souvenir of unforgiveness, bitterness, and resentment. Get rid of your ‘white baggage’, and ride in the new movement that will bring revival and justice to everyone in America.’” (William Ford, III)1 “Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.” (Ephesians 4:3; NLT) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: Whatever color you are, be bold and ask the Lord if you have any racial baggage. Don’t be afraid to let Him show you. Be quick to repent and ask Him to change your heart. “While I’m all about us having a dialogue regarding race, etc., I want us to be very careful about not being divisive.”1 Pray that the Lord will “correct the narrative” and show us how to have racial dialogues that bring healing instead of dividing us further. Ask the Lord for His Spirit of Wisdom to be poured out. “The truth is we need each other’s perspectives to heal our today, so together we can shape a better future for our tomorrow.”1 Ask the Lord to put you in His unfolding storyline of racial reconciliation in America. “What storyline will you be a part of? The healing or the hurt? This is our shared moment in history.”1 A prayer you can pray: Dear Lord, the United States is currently experiencing another wave of racial unrest. I want to be a part of the healing of this issue in America. To do that, I will need Your help, Lord, to see exactly what is in my heart and mind regarding race. Expose my heart, so that I can clearly see how to repent. I want to be one that could participate in Dr. Martin Luther King’s movement. I want to be a reconciler of men and a participant in this new justice movement. Give me the right words and the right actions that bring healing instead of further divisiveness. I Urge You to Pray “While the current tumultuous cultural climate is very similar to the 1960’s, it is perhaps even more precariously heightened. Today we have Supreme Court sanctioned gay marriage, open doors to an escalating gender confusion, Presidential Executive Orders that go outside of Constitutional rights, the legalization of drugs in specific states, violent radical Islamic jihadist attacks, trillions of dollars of national debt, and more. Much of the current mood in the U.S. is one of anger, frustration and extreme polarization. The Scriptures State, ‘I Urge You to Pray!’” (James Goll)1 “I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” (1 Timothy 2:1-4; NASB) Give Him 15 minutes in prayer: “In the 1960’s we experienced the Generation Gap, Economic Division, Racial Strife, Hate Crimes, Free Sex Movement, Assassinations of Leaders, Drug Epidemic and much more.”1 Tell the Lord that you do not want to see our nation go around that mountain of rebellion against God again in our generation. “Prayer was removed from public schools (in 1962).”1 Decree that the Lord is welcome in our school system and that the lie of separation of Church and State will end. Encourage your children or those in your circle of influence to gather their friends and pray daily at school. It is not illegal for students to gather and pray together. “Abortion was made legally available (in 1973).”1 Repent for the sin of abortion. Ask God to reverse the legality of the killing of our unborn for the sake of convenience. Over that same period of time, “an assault was released against traditional family values and roles (and) a no-fault divorce clause was introduced. This started unraveling American society as we had known it.”1 Ask God to deliver us from the covenant-breaking spirit in America. Pray for strong families and faithful spouses. A prayer you can pray: Father, we have no desire to repeat the sins of our fathers and thereby reinforce rebellion against you in another generation. Forgive our nation for removing prayer in schools. Our children have suffered the consequences in numerous ways for leaving You out of the educational process. Help me to boldly encourage our children to pray together in school each day. I repent for the sin of abortion in our nation. Reverse Roe v Wade and reverse the curses it has brought against us. Deliver us from the sin of covenant-breaking and make the Church a covenant-keeping people! Strengthen our marriages and grace us to be faithful for all of our lives. Renew our covenant with You and save our nation! Jesus help us! Amen.
