Conversation With Chuck Pierce About the Coronavirus – Part 5
[Recently, I sat down with Chuck Pierce to talk about what God is saying regarding the coronavirus COVID-19. Go back and read the prior posts on Give Him 15, beginning March 28th, so we can pray these things into the Church and the national situation. Make sure as you pray through the conversation over the next few days that you do not allow fear to enter into your heart, but rather, let faith arise in you.]
CHUCK: Another word linked with this decade is Passover. Some of our prophetic team was meeting at Glory of Zion at the end of August, and all of a sudden the Spirit of God fell on us. He said, “By Passover of this year, you will be in a real Passover.” We recorded that Word. We looked at it. We wondered what was going to happen with us. We teach on Passover every year and we’ve held huge Passover celebrations for 25 years. But, He was saying, “It’s this Passover that my people will have to understand Passover. They’ll need to move across and understand the power of My blood, because they will experience Passover this year.”
I kind of had to step back and say, “Well, what in the world is going to happen with that?” So, when I saw this thing coming out of Wuhan, China, I knew right then that this is the Passover where the economic system of the world gets realigned. How we enter into Passover this year as a nation is going to be very important.
“Then Moses called all the elders of Israel and said to them, ‘Go and select lambs for yourselves according to your clans, and kill the Passover lamb. Take a bunch of hyssop and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and touch the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin. None of you shall go out of the door of his house until the morning. For the Lord will pass through to strike the Egyptians, and when he sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the Lord will pass over the door and will not allow the destroyer to enter your houses to strike you. You shall observe this rite as a statute for you and for your sons forever.‘” (Exodus 12:21-24; ESV)
Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:
Get your Bibles out and read Exodus 12. Study the Passover. Notice that Lord says it is an eternal rite.
Consider how you will participate in Passover this year. You may have no knowledge of Passover. It is time to learn.
Ask the Lord what He wants you to understand about the Passover celebration. Plan to participate in an online celebration. Here is one and here is another one. (Both are Christian versions, so you will see Christ revealed in the celebration.) See what Passover has to say about Jesus’ death and resurrection. Let the Holy Spirit teach you.
Take communion and worship Him!
A prayer you can pray:
God, there is definitely something going on this year. It is a very unusual time and we have not been this way before. I am sure the Israelites felt somewhat the same way. They didn’t know their whole life was about to change when Moses showed up on the scene! One day, they were slaving away (literally), and the next they were told to pack up, because God was going to send them to the promised land. They didn’t even know what a Promised land was. Everything they knew, all of their earthly security, even though it was enslavement, was about to be disrupted and uprooted.
Well, that’s kind of how we feel right now. We didn’t see this coming. We didn’t plan for it. Suddenly, it was just here. Everything is different. We don’t know what’s coming next. We only know life has changed. For some of us, it has permanently changed. So, Lord, You were ahead of us. You told the Israelites to celebrate the Passover as a permanent rite. The Church is grafted in, but somewhere along the way, we decided Passover was a Jewish celebration that doesn’t apply to us. Nothing could be further from the truth!
We are the ones with the revelation of what it was foreshadowing! We are the ones that can see Christ in the meal and the blood in the shape of a cross over the doors. God, forgive us. May we celebrate the Passover this year with our eyes and hearts wide open. May we share it with our families exactly as in the first Passover—in our homes, unable to go out. Reveal Your Son to us, Father. Amen.
Today’s decree:
We will enter into Passover to see Jesus more clearly this year!
