Identical Anointing of Jesus
“You are identical heirs with Jesus. You have the identical anointing of Jesus, not because you deserve it, but because of His grace, because of His love. You are an heir. At Christ’s resurrection, He issued an order to the Church—take My gospel everywhere! And, of course, they did!” Tim Sheets1
“The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.” (Romans 8:16-17; NASB)
Give Him 15 minutes in prayer:
Read the above devotional and scripture out loud inserting your own name in the passages. You have the same anointing and inheritance that Christ has! You You have the same miracle-working power living in you. You have the same love of the Father that can move through you. You have the same eternal life and the same ability to invite others to receive it as well. Let that sink in.
What could our nation look like if every Christian really believed this that they have this inheritance and this anointing? What could our families look like or our neighborhoods and communities?
Pray that the Lord would take away your fear, give you a revelation of this truth and give you divine appointments as you take His gospel everywhere you go today.
A prayer you can pray:
Lord, I, (say your name), have the identical anointing and inheritance as Jesus does. I am your heir, just like Jesus is. I have access to the same promises, the same Holy Spirit, the same miracle-working power and the same endless well of love as Jesus does. You gave me all of this so that I can share the gospel of the Kingdom with those who are perishing. They can have this inheritance, as well. Our nation needs more believers understanding these truths, Lord. Let me be a walking, talking heir of Yours today.
Today’s decree:
The Church is rising up to understand that we are heirs with Christ and that we are carrying the love-soaked, miracle-working power of God everywhere we go today! Our nation is about to be changed!
