2/5/2024 For a couple of years it has been on my heart to pray at the Ashokan Reservior as I feel it is an important and strategic location. When I heard about Protecting America's Waterways I knew this was my assignment. After 9/11 there has been heightened security over the Reservior because it supplies 40% of NYC drinking water. We prayed protection. Stationed angels. Read the decrees from Give Him 15 and Psalm 91. My daughters felt to sing "if your happy and you know it clap your hands" and "what a friend we have in Jesus". I felt to pray for Jesus' living waters to flow from this place and from the Hudson Valley to NYC! We got to see the sun setting on the Reservior and ended by singing "from the rising of the sun to the going down of the same the Lord's name is to be praised!"
